1Hydrogen generation from decomposition of hydrous hydrazine over Ni-Ir/CeO_2 catalyst显示文摘The synthesis of highly active and selective catalysts is the central issue in the development of hydrous hydrazine(N_2H_4·H_2O) as a viable hydrogen carrier. Herein, we report the synthesis of bimetallic Ni-Ir nanocatalyts supported on CeO_2 using a one-pot coprecipitation method. A combination of XRD, HRTEM and XPS analyses indicate that the Ni-Ir/CeO_2 catalyst is composed of tiny Ni-Ir alloy nanoparticles with an average size of around 4 nm and crystalline CeO_2 matrix. The Ni-Ir/CeO_2 catalyst exhibits high catalytic activity and excellent selectivity towards hydrogen generation from N_2H_4·H_2O at mild temperatures. Furthermore, in contrast to previously reported Ni-Pt catalysts, the Ni-Ir/CeO_2 catalyst shows an alleviated requirement on alkali promoter to achieve its optimal catalytic performance.Hongbin Dai Yujie Zhong Ping Wang 2017Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2017,27,1:2
2Early changes to the extracellular space in the hippocampus under simulated microgravity conditions显示文摘The smooth transportation of substances through the brain extracellular space(ECS)is crucial to maintaining brain function;however,the way this occurs under simulated microgravity remains unclear.In this study,tracer-based magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and DECS-mapping techniques were used to image the drainage of brain interstitial fluid(ISF)from the ECS of the hippocampus in a tail-suspended hindlimb-unloading rat model at day 3(HU-3)and 7(HU-7).The results indicated that drainage of the ISF was accelerated in the HU-3 group but slowed markedly in the HU-7 group.The tortuosity of the ECS decreased in the HU-3 group but increased in the HU-7 group,while the volume fraction of the ECS increased in both groups.The diffusion rate within the ECS increased in the HU-3 group and decreased in the HU-7 group.The alterations to ISF drainage and diffusion in the ECS were recoverable in the HU-3 group,but neither parameter was restored in the HU-7 group.Our findings suggest that early changes to the hippocampal ECS and ISF drainage under simulated microgravity can be detected by tracer-based MRI,providing a new perspective for studying microgravity-induced nano-scale structure abnormities and developing neuroprotective approaches involving the brain ECS.Yajuan Gao Hongbin Han Jichen Du Qingyuan He Yanxing Jia Junhao Yan Hui Dai Bin Cui Jing Yang Xunbin Wei Liu Yang Rui Wang Ren Long Qiushi Ren Xing Yang Jiabin Lu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:2

83D bioprinting of cell-laden nano-attapulgite/gelatin methacrylate composite hydrogel scaffolds for bone tissue repair显示文摘Bone tissue engineering(BTE)has proven to be a promising strategy for bone defect repair.Due to its excellent biological properties,gelatin methacrylate(GelMA)hydrogels have been used as bioinks for 3D bioprinting in some BTE studies to produce scaffolds for bone regeneration.However,applications for load-bearing defects are limited by poor mechanical properties and a lack of bioactivity.In this study,3D printing technology was used to create nano-attapulgite(nano-ATP)/GelMA composite hydrogels loaded into mouse bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)and mouse umbilical vein endothelial cells(MUVECs).The bioprintability,physicochemical properties,and mechanical properties were all thoroughly evaluated.Our findings showed that nano-ATP groups outperform the control group in terms of printability,indicating that nano-ATP is beneficial for printability.Additionally,after incorporation with nano-ATP,the mechanical strength of the composite hydrogels was significantly improved,resulting in adequate mechanical properties for bone regeneration.The presence of nano-ATP in the scaffolds has also been stud-ied for cell-material interactions.The findings show that cells within the scaffold not only have high viability but also a clear proclivity to promote osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.Besides,the MUVECs-loaded composite hydrogels demonstrated increased angiogenic activity.A cranial defect model was also developed to evaluate the bone repair capability of scaffolds loaded with rat BMSCs.According to histo-logical analysis,cell-laden nano-ATP composite hydrogels can effectively im prove bone regeneration and promote angiogenesis.This study demonstrated the potential of nano-ATP for bone tissue engineering,which should also increase the clinical practicality of nano-ATP.Chun Liu Ting Dai Xiaoyu Wu Jiayi Ma Jun Liu Siyu Wu Lei Yang Hongbin Zhao 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,4:1

17Investigation of Gray Mold of Protected Tomato and Resistance Identification of Variety in Shihezi Area,Xinjiang显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to understand the occurrence of gray mold of protected tomato and resistance of introduced tomato varieties to gray mold in Shihezi area. [Method] The occurrence status of gray mold in protected tomato in Shawan County, Manas County, the experimental field of Shihezi University and Shihezi Huayu base were investigated during the occurrence period of tomato gray mold, and the resistance of intro-duced variety against tomato gray mold was identified at seedling stage through indoor artificial inoculation method. [Result] The diseased leaf rate of tomato gray mold was 17.52%-100%, the diseased fruit rate was 3.1%-55.69%, and the disease index was 15.98-100. In resistance identifica-tion of different tomato varieties, the disease indexes of Kenfan25, Shifan28, Shifan15, KENFAN-3, KENFAN-5, Shifan35, KENFAN-2 and Shifan-9 were 1.03, 3.1, 1.17, 4.3, 5.32, 5.12, 4.32 and 4.11, respectively. From September to March of the following year, tomato gray mold occurred and was prevalent in greenhouses in Shihezi area. 20Real-time analysis of inflammatory cytokines and regulatory gene expression in tissues surrounding the hematoma after intracerebral hemorrhage显示文摘BACKGROUND:Secondary lesions can occur in tissues surrounding the hematoma following intracerebral hemorrhage,with the presence of inflammatory reactions,cytokine expression and apoptosis. These have been confirmed in animal studies. Our study sought to determine whether these could be detected in human tissues surrounding the hematoma following intracerebral hemorrhage. OBJECTIVE: To investigate expression of inflammatory cytokines,Bax and Bcl-x,and identify neural cell apoptosis in tissues surrounding the hematoma,and to analyze the correlation between them and pathological damage in intracerebral hemorrhage patients. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: This histopathology,controlled study was performed at the Department of Neurosurgery,Sichuan People’s Hospital,China,from January 2003 to January 2005. PARTICIPANTS: Brain tissues 1 cm from the hematoma in 30 intracerebral hemorrhage patients served as the experimental group. Brain tissues located away from the hematoma in 7 patients served as the control group. METHODS: TUNEL was used to detect neural cell apoptosis. Immunohistochemistry (labeled dextran polymer) and RT-PCR were used to measure tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,Bax and Bcl-x protein and mRNA expression. Pathological changes in brain tissues surrounding the hematoma were observed following HE staining. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Neural cell apoptosis,inflammatory cytokines,Bax and Bcl-x protein and mRNA expression,pathological changes in brain tissues surrounding the hematoma. RESULTS: Brain tissues surrounding the hematoma were mildly damaged within 6 hours,severely damaged at 24-72 hours,and significantly improved 1 week following intracerebral hemorrhage. Expression of tumor necrosis factor-α protein and mRNA,interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 mRNA was not significant in tissues surrounding the hematoma,which was identical to the control group within 6 hours after intracerebral hemorrhage. This expression was significantly higher compared with the control group from 12-72 hours,and gradually decreased after 72 hours. The number of apoptotic neural cells reached a peak between 12-72 hours. Tumor necrosis factor-α protein and mRNA,interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 mRNA levels were positively correlated with apoptosis,Bax protein and mRNA levels (P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-1β,and interleukin-6 levels are highly correlated with apoptosis.
