| 1 | The Sequence of Magmatic-Tectonic Events and Orogenic Processes of the Yanshan Belt, North China显示文摘This paper emphasizes that the interactive constraints of geology and isotopic dating is the best approach to construct the geological event sequence, and has compiled 106 data of reasonable isotopic ages for the igneous rocks of the Yanshan belt. We propose a sequence of mgmatic-tectonic events in the Jurassic-Cretaceous Yanshan orogen of North China. Five orogenic episodes are divided, (1) pre-and initial orogenic episode (Early Jurassic); (2) early orogenic episode (Middle Jurassic); (3) peak orogenic episode (Late Jurassic); (4) late orogenic episode (early Early Cretaceous),and (5) post-orogenic episode. Each episode is a short cycle, all of the orogenic processes construct a longer cycle, and they, in general, followed a counter-clockwise (ccw) PTt path. The growth units of basic magnesium chloride whiskers are [Mg - (OH) 4]2 -and [Mg - Cl 4]2 -. The growth process is the incorporation process of growth units. Growth units will have different incorporations and orientations caused by different system characters or heating. | 4 | Daclatasvir plus asunaprevir in treatment-na?ve patients with hepatitis C virus genotype 1b infection显示文摘AIM To assess daclatasvir plus asunaprevir(d UAL) in treatment-na?ve patients from China's Mainland, Russia and South Korea with hepatitis C virus(HCV) genotype 1 b infection. METHODS Patients were randomly assigned(3:1) to receive 24 wk of treatment with d UAL(daclatasvir 60 mg once daily and asunaprevir 100 mg twice daily) beginning on day 1 of the treatment period(immediate treatment arm) or following 12 wk of matching placebo(placebodeferred treatment arm). The primary endpoint was a comparison of sustained virologic response at posttreatment week 12(SVR12) compared with the historical SVR rate for peg-interferon plus ribavirin(70%) among patients in the immediate treatment arm. The first 12 wk of the study were blinded. Safety was assessed in d UAL-treated patients compared with placebo patients during the first 12 wk(doubleblind phase), and during 24 wk of d UAL in both arms combined.RESULTS In total, 207 patients were randomly assigned to immediate(n = 155) or placebo-deferred(n = 52) treatment. Most patients were Asian(86%), female(59%) and aged < 65 years(90%). Among them, 13% had cirrhosis, 32% had IL28 B non-CC genotypes and 53% had baseline HCV RNA levels of ≥ 6 million IU/m L. Among patients in the immediate treatment arm, SVR12 was achieved by 92%(95% confidence interval: 87.2-96.0), which was significantly higher than the historical comparator rate(70%). SVR12 was largely unaffected by cirrhosis(89%), age ≥ 65 years(92%), male sex(90%), baseline HCV RNA ≥ 6 million(89%) or IL28 B non-CC genotypes(96%), although SVR12 was higher among patients without(96%) than among those with(53%) baseline NS5 A resistanceassociated polymorphisms(at L31 or Y93 H). during the double-blind phase, aminotransferase elevations were more common among placebo recipients than among patients receiving d UAL. during 24 wk of d UAL therapy(combined arms), the most common adverse events(≥ 10%) were elevated alanine aminotransferase and upper respiratory tract infection; emergent grade 3-4 laboratory abnormalities were infrequently observed, and all grade 3-4 aminotransferase abnormalities(alanine aminotransferase, n = 9; aspartate transaminase, n = 6) reversed within 8-11 d. Two patients discontinued d UAL treatment; one due to aminotransferase elevations, nausea, and jaundice and the other due to a fatal adverse event unrelated to treatment. | 5 | Expression and Function of Zinc-α2-Glycoprotein显示文摘Zinc-α2-glycoprotein(ZAG), encoded by the AZGP1 gene, is a major histocompatibility complex I molecule and a lipid-mobilizing factor. ZAG has been demonstrated to promote lipid metabolism and glucose utilization, and to regulate insulin sensitivity. Apart from adipose tissue, skeletal muscle, liver, and kidney, ZAG also occurs in brain tissue, but its distribution in brain is debatable. Only a few studies have investigated ZAG in the brain. It has been found in the brains of patients with Krabbe disease and epilepsy, and in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with Alzheimer disease, frontotemporal lobe dementia, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Both ZAG protein and AZGP1 m RNA are decreased in epilepsy patients and animal models, while overexpression of ZAG suppresses seizure and epileptic discharges in animal models of epilepsy, but knowledge of the specific mechanism of ZAG in epilepsy is limited. | 6 | Analysis of the Dynamic Response of a Shield Tunnel in Soft Soil Under a Metro-Train Vibrating Load显示文摘This paper concerns the impact of an operating metro train on the structure of a shield tunnel lining and its soft foundation. An elastoplastic 3D dynamic finite difference model was established by using the FLAC3D numerical soft- ware. By fully considering the joints, the A-B-K segments and the soft stratum, the dynamic response of the shield tunnel buried in thick, soft soil under the vibrating load induced by a metro train was numerically simulated. The simulation result, for which the joint was considered, was compared with the result when the joint was not considered. The results show that an operating metro train induces a significant dynamic response in the structure of the lining of the shield tunnel and its soft foundation. The severe dynamic response zones of the lining structure are largely distributed in the range of the lower half of the segment-ring and the nearer to the bottom of the segment-ring, the more severe the response. Of two horizontally symmetric, corresponding places on the segment lining, the one near the joint is more severe in its dynamic response than that of the one far from the joint; the nearer the zone of the foundation soil to the lower half of the seg- ment-ring, the more severe the dynamic response. The maximum shear strain of the foundation soil takes place near the joint between two normal segments at the bottom. | 7 | Gene mutations and clinical phenotypes in 15 Chinese children with cryopyrin-associated periodic syndrome(CAPS)显示文摘The aim of our study is to explore the features of clinical manifestations and genetic mutations in Chinese CAPS patients. Fifteen confirmed patients with CAPS were enrolled. The onset time ranges from 2 days after birth to 6 years and 1 month. Recurrent urticaria rash(93.3%) with fever(100%) were two dominant characteristics of these patients that were presented as either acute or chronic process. Systemic involvements were found in all patients except for one with only rash and fever. The top three symptoms were fever(100%), rash(93.3%) and myalgia(76%). Other clinical manifestations include arthritis(11 cases), lung involvement(seven cases), optical dysfunction(seven cases), nerve deafness(six cases), nervous system involvement(five cases), hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and lymphadenectasis(five cases). Also, four patients had heart involvement and one patient suffered kidney involvement. The laboratory inflammation index such as leukocyte counts, platelet counts, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C-reactive protein(CRP), serum amyloid A(SAA) and fibrinogen(FIB) increased significantly at initial stage, but decreased after therapy. As for gene mutation detection, Twelve out of 15 patients were confirmed with mutation in NLRP3, including 11 mutant site: c1789 A>G, c.1703 T>A, c.913 G>A, c.1710 G>C, c.1057 G >T, c.2335 C>T, c.932 T>C,c.296 G>C, c.663 C>T, t.1702 T>A, 299 G>A. Mutation sites c.1703 T>A, c.2335 C>T, c.296 G>C, c.663 C>T, and 299 G>A were newly identified. The association between gene mutation and clinical manifestation shows that D305 N was highly associated with severe organs involvements, and therefore, the time of therapy and regimen were critical for the prognosis of disease. As the largest cohort study of Chinese CAPS patients, we confirmed that all patients presented typical clinical manifestations, identified five new mutation sites on NLRP3 and analyzed the correlation between the genotypes and phenotypes. | 11 | Polar organic tracers in PM_(2.5) aerosols from an inland background area in Southwest China: Correlations between secondary organic aerosol tracers and source apportionment显示文摘PM_(2.5) aerosol samples were collected over 12 hr and 24 hr intervals in an inland background area, Gongga Mountain National Nature Reserve(hereafter shortened to Gongga), during the summer of 2011. Polar organic tracers, inorganic ions and meteorological data were measured. The purpose of this work was to investigate the variation patterns, formation and sources of the secondary organic aerosol tracers in the studied atmosphere. The average concentrations of isoprene oxidation products, α-pinene oxidation products, β-caryophyllinic acid, sugars, sugar alcohols and anhydrosugars were 88.6 ± 106.1, 3.6 ± 5.7,0.13 ± 0.30, 13.6 ± 13.1, 31.9 ± 31.4 and 14.8 ± 10.7 ng/m3 respectively in all aerosol samples.The aged α-pinene second organic aerosol(SOA) tracers(i.e., 3-hydroxyglutraric acid(3 HGA), 3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethylglutaric acid(HDMGA), 3-acetylpentandioic acid(APDA) and 3-methyl-1,2,3-butanetricarboxylic acid(MBTCA)) correlated significantly with each other in the 24 hr PM2.5 aerosol samples, indicating that OH· is the major factor controlling the formation of these α-pinene SOA tracers. | 12 | Effect of preemptive local injection of ropivocaine with dexmedetomidine on mirror pain in rats and its mechanism显示文摘Objective:To observe the effect of preemptive local injection of ropivocaine with dexmedetomidine on activation of glial cells and on the mirror pain in rats and its mechanism.Methods:A total of 48 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats(weighing 180 g-220 g)were included in the study and randomized into 3 groups,Group S,Group R,and Group RD,.A rat model of persistent postoperative pain evoked by skin/muscle incision and retraction was established in the three groups.Before procedures and nerve extraction,Group S(n=16)was injected 0.9%saline locally;Group R(n=16)was injected 0.5%ropivocaine locally,and Group RD,(n=16)was injected 0.5%ropivocaine in combined with 1μg dexmedetomidine locally.After the model being established in the three groups,8 rats were used for behavior test until 28 d,and dorsal root ganglions(DRGs)of the other 8 rats were harvested on the3 rd day after surgery.Immunofluorescent and transmission electron microscopy were used to observe the activation of glial cells in DRG,and the behavior test results in the three groups were compared.Results:The results showed that mechanical pain threshold in ipsilateral hindpaws of the Group S,Group R,Group RD,animals dropped to(3.640±1.963)g,(5.827±1.204)g,(7.482)±1.412 g at 3 d respectively;while in contralateral paws dropped to(7.100±1.789)g,(17.687±1.112)g,(16.213±1.345)g on the 3 d respectively.Immunofluorescent showed that the glial cells were activated in bilateral side DRG after surgery in 3 groups,but ipsilateral paws expressed more active glial cells than contralateral paws.Transmission electron microscopy showed that mitochondria swelling/vacuolization and lysosomes were more obvious in ipsilateral paws than contralateral paws,but Group RD,formula could reduce glial cells activity,mitochondria swelling/vacuolization and the amount of lysosomes.Conclusions:Local injection of ropivocaine and/or dexmedetomidine can effectively inhibit the activation of glial cells in DRG,mitigate the pathological changes of neuron in DRG and reduce mirror image pain. | Xi-Zhao Huang Wei-Feng Tu Jie Peng Rong-Fang Deng Kai Mo Zu-Rong Hu Yi Lu | 2015 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2015,8,10: | 6 |

| 17 | Short cycle structures for graphs on surfaces and an open problem of Mohar and Thomassen显示文摘In this paper we investigate cycle base structures of a (weighted) graph and show that much information of short cycles is contained in an MCB (i.e., minimum cycle base). After setting up a Hall type theorem for base-transformation, we give a sufficient and necessary condition for a cycle base to be an MCB. Furthermore, we show that the structure of MCB in a (weighted)graph is unique. The property is also true for those having a longest length (although much work has been down in evaluating MCB, little is known for those having a longest length). We use those methods to find out some unknown properties for short cycles sharing particular properties in (unweighted) graphs. As applications, we determine the structures of short cycles in an embedded graph and show that there exist polynomially bounded algorithms in finding a shortest contractible cycle and a shortest two-sided cycle provided such cycles exist. | 18 | Characterization of summer PM_(2.5) aerosols from four forest areas in Sichuan,SW China显示文摘Aerosol samples were collected over 24 and 12 h to represent day/night aerosol characteristics in forest areas at Ya'an Baima Spring Scenic Area(BM),Panzhihua Cycas National Nature Reserve(PZ),Gongga Mountain National Nature Reserve(GG),and Wolong National Nature Reserve(WL),during the summers of 2010-2012.Mass and chemical component concentrations,including organic carbon,elemental carbon,and inorganic ions(F^-,Cl^-,NO_2^-,NO_3^-,SO_4^(2-),C_2O_4^(2-),PO_4^(3-),K^+,Na^+,Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),and NH_4^+),of PM_(2.5) aerosols were measured.The average PM2.5 concentrations for 24 h were 72.42,104.89,20.55,and29.19 μg/m^3 at BM,PZ,GG,and WL,respectively.Organic matter accounted for 38.0-49.3%,while elemental carbon accounted for 2.0-5.7%of PM2.5 mass.The sum concentrations of SO_4^(2-),NH_4^+,and NO_3^-accounted for 23.0%,17.4%,22.1%,and 30.5%of PM2.5 mass at BM,PZ,GG,and WL,respectively.Soil dust was also an important source of PM2.5,accounting for 6.3%,17.0%,10.4%,and 19.1%of PM2.5 mass at BM,PZ,GG,and WL,respectively.These reconstructed masses accounted for 75.9-102.0%of PM2.5 mass from the four forest areas of SW China. | Hengqin Mo Li Li Wei Lai Min Zhao Jinguo Pu Yi Zhou Shihuai Deng | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,3: | 4 |
| 19 | The Effect of Body Pitching on Leg-Spring Behavior in Quadruped Running显示文摘In this paper we investigated how the running speed would affect the dynamics of body pitching, and whether body inertiais important for animals. Passive trotting of spring-mass model and passive bounding of spring-beam model were studied atdifferent speeds for different sets of body parameters respectively. Furthermore, different body inertias were used in bounding.We found that running speed exerts effect on leg performance by means of centrifugal force. The centrifugal force can be understoodas an enhancement to the natural frequency of the spring-mass system. The disadvantage of body pitching may beoffset by the great increase in centrifugal force at high speed. | 20 | Discriminating characters of ore-forming intrusions in the super-large Chalukou porphyry Mo deposit,NE China显示文摘The Chalukou porphyry Mo deposit, located in the Great Hinggan Range, is the largest Mo deposit in northeast China, although the age and genesis of the associated magmatic intrusions remain debated.Here we report zircon U-Pb ages and trace elements, whole rock geochemistry and Sre Nd isotope data with a view to understand the relationship between the magmatism and molybdenum mineralization.Zircon U-Pb analysis yield an age of 475 Ma for rhyolite in the older strata, 168 Ma for the premineralization monzogranite, and 154 Ma for the syn-mineralization granite porphyry. The granite porphyry and quartz porphyry are considered as the ore-forming intrusions. These rocks are peraluminous, alkali-calcic, and belong to high-K to shoshonitic series with a strong depletion of Eu. They also display characteristics of I-type granites. The rocks exhibit wide variations of(87 Sr/86 Sr)iin the range of 0.705426 -0.707363, and ε_(Nd)(t) of -3.7 to 0.93. Zircon REE distribution patterns show characteristics between crust and the mantle, implying magma genesis through crust-mantle interaction. The Fe_2O_3/FeO values(average 1) for the whole rock and EuN/Eu*Nvalues(average 0.45), Ce^(4+)/Ce^(3+) values(average 301)for zircon grains from the granite porphyry are higher than those from other lithologies. These features suggest that the ore-forming intrusions(syn-mineralization porphyry) had higher oxygen fugacity conditions than those of the pre-mineralization and post-mineralization rocks. The Chalukou Mo deposit formed in relation to the southward subduction of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean.
