Ultrasonography guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for hepatic cavernous hemangioma显示文摘AIM: Hepatic cavernous hemangioma (HCH) is the mostcommon benign tumor of the liver and its management isstill controversial. Recent successin situ radiofrequencyablation of hepatic malignancies has led us to consider usingthis technique in patients with HCH. This study was to assessthe efficacy, safety, and complications of percutaneousradiofrequency ablation (PRFA) under ultrasonographyguidance in patients with HCH.METHODS: Twelve patients (four men and eight women, age ranged 33-56 years, mean age was 41.7 years) with 15hepatic cavernous hemangiomas (2.5 cm to 9.5 cm) weretreated using the RF-2000 generator and 10-needle LeVeenelectrode percutaneously guided by B-ultrasound. Lesionslarger than 3 cm were treated by multiple overlappingablations that encompass the entire lesion as well as a rimof normal liver tissue (approximately 0.5 cm).RESULTS: All the patients who received PRFA therapy hadno severe pain, bleeding or bile leakage during and afterthe procedures. Nine to 34 months′ follow-up (mean, 21months) by ultrasound and/or spiral CT scan demonstratedthat the ablated lesions in this group were shrunk remarkably, and the shrunken range was 38-79 % (mean, 67 % per 21months). The contrast enhancement was disappeared withinthe tumor or at its periphery in all cases on spiral CT scansobtained 3 to 6 months after treatment.CONCLUSION: The results of this study suggest that PRFAtherapy is a mini-invasive, simple, safe, and effective methodfor the treatment of selected patients with HCH. | Yan Cui Li-Yan Zhou Man-Ku Dong Ping Wang Min Ji Xiao-Ou Li Chang-Wei Chen Zi-Pei Liu Yong-Jie Xu Hong-Wen Zhang Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery,Beijing 306 Hospital,Chaoyang District,Beijing 100101,China | 2003 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2003,9,9: | 43
Backstepping design of missile guidance and control based on adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control显示文摘This paper presents an integrated missile guidance and control law based on adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control. The integrated model is formulated as a block-strict-feedback nonlinear system, in which modeling errors, unmodeled nonlinearities, target maneuvers, etc. are viewed as unknown uncertainties. The adaptive nonlinear control law is designed based on backstepping and sliding mode control techniques. An adaptive fuzzy system is adopted to approximate the coupling nonlinear functions of the system, and for the uncertainties, we utilize an online-adaptive control law to estimate the unknown parameters. The stability analysis of the closed-loop system is also conducted. Simulation results show that, with the application of the adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control, small miss distances and smooth missile trajectories are achieved, and the system is robust against system uncertainties and external disturbances. | Ran Maopeng Wang Qing Hou Delong Dong Chaoyang | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,3: | 32
A systematic method of smooth switching LPV controllers design for a morphing aircraft显示文摘This paper is concerned with a systematic method of smooth switching linear parametervarying(LPV) controllers design for a morphing aircraft with a variable wing sweep angle. The morphing aircraft is modeled as an LPV system, whose scheduling parameter is the variation rate of the wing sweep angle. By dividing the scheduling parameter set into subsets with overlaps, output feedback controllers which consider smooth switching are designed and the controllers in overlapped subsets are interpolated from two adjacent subsets. A switching law without constraint on the average dwell time is obtained which makes the conclusion less conservative. Furthermore,a systematic algorithm is developed to improve the efficiency of the controllers design process. The parameter set is divided into the fewest subsets on the premise that the closed-loop system has a desired performance. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach. | Jiang Weilai Dong Chaoyang Wang Qing | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,6: | 15
Constitutive relationship of IN690 superalloy by using uniaxial compression tests显示文摘The hot deformation behavior of IN690 superalloy was characterized in a temperature range of 1273-1473 K and a strain rate range of 0.01-10 s-1 using uniaxial compression tests on process annealed material. The constitutive relations between flow stress and effective strain, effective strain rate as well as deformation temperature were studied. It can be concluded that the flow stress significantly reduces with the deformation temperature of IN690 superalloy increasing.Whereas, there is a significant increase of flow stress when the strain rate increases from 0.1 s-1 to 10 s-1.Based on the hyperbolic-sine Arrhenius-type equation,a constitutive equation considering compensation of strain was developed. The activation energy and the material constants(Q,n and ln A) decrease as the deformation strain increases. The strain dependent term is successfully incorporated in the constitutive equation through a quartic equation.A good agreement between the experimental data and the predicted results has been achieved, indicating that the proposed constitutive equation and the methods of determing the material constants are suitable to model the high temperature deformation behavior of IN690 superalloy. | SUN Chaoyang LIU Jinrong LI Rui ZHANG Qingdong DONG Jianxin | 2011 | Rare Metals2011,30,1: | 11
Switched adaptive active disturbance rejection control of variable structure near space vehicles based on adaptive dynamic programming显示文摘Based on the switched nonlinear system, a switched adaptive Active Disturbance Rejection Control(ADRC) law is proposed for the Variable Structure Near Space Vehicle(VSNSV) with unknown uncertainties and external disturbances. The reduced-order Extended State Observers(ESOs) are constructed for the attitude angle system and the angular rate system to estimate the total disturbance in real time. With the extended state introduced to counteract the effects of uncertainties and disturbances, a systematic procedure is presented for the synthesis of the switched adaptive ADRC strategy. Rigorous proof shows that the estimation errors of the reduced-order ESOs would converge to a small neighborhood of zero in finite time, and that the output of the closedloop system can track a given signal stably for a class of switching signals with average dwell time via the proposed approach. The variable gain control strategy based on Adaptive Dynamic Programming(ADP) with the actor-critic structure is also designed to improve the dynamic performance of the system. Simulation results verify the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed control scheme. | Chaoyang DONG Chen LIU Qing WANG Ligang GONG | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,7: | 10
Adaptive augmentation of gain-scheduled controller for aerospace vehicles显示文摘This paper proposes an adaptive augmentation control design approach of the gain-scheduled controller. This extension is motivated by the need for augmentation of the baseline gainscheduled controller. The proposed approach can be utilized to design flight control systems for advanced aerospace vehicles with a large parameter variation. The flight dynamics within the flight envelope is described by a switched nonlinear system, which is essentially a switched polytopic system with uncertainties. The flight control system consists of a baseline gain-scheduled controller and a model reference adaptive augmentation controller, while the latter can recover the nominal performance of the gainscheduled controlled system under large uncertainties.By the multiple Lyapunov functions method,it is proved that the switched nonlinear system is uniformly ultimately bounded. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, this approach is applied to a generic hypersonic vehicle, and the simulation results show that the system output tracks the command signal well even when large uncertainties exist. | Xiyuan Huang Qing Wang Yali Wang Yanze Hou Chaoyang Dong | 2013 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,2: | 8
Fully distributed time-varying formation tracking control for multiple quadrotor vehicles via finite-time convergent extended state observer显示文摘This paper investigates a time-varying anti-disturbance formation problem for a group of quadrotor aircrafts with time-varying uncertainties and a directed interaction topology.A novel Finite-Time Convergent Extended State Observer(FTCESO)based fully-distributed formation control scheme is proposed to enhance the disturbance rejection and the formation tracking performances for networked quadrotors.By adopting the hierarchical control strategy, the multiquadrotor system is separated into two subsystems:the outer-loop cooperative subsystem and the inner-loop attitude subsystem. In the outer-loop subsystem, with the estimation of disturbing forces and uncertain dynamics from FTCESOs,an adaptive consensus theory based cooperative controller is exploited to ensure the multiple quadrotors form and maintain a time-varying pattern relying only on the positions of the neighboring aircrafts. In the inner-loop subsystem, the desired attitude generated by the cooperative control law is stably tracked under a FTCESO-based attitude controller in a finite time.Based on a detailed algorithm to specify the cooperative control protocol, the feasibility condition to achieve the time-varying anti-disturbance formation tracking is derived and the rigorous analysis of the whole closed-loop multi-quadrotor system is given. Some numerical examples are conducted to intuitively demonstrate the effectiveness and the improvements of the proposed control framework. | Wenqiang ZHANG Chaoyang DONG Maopeng RAN Yang LIU | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,11: | 8
Non-fragile switched H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching显示文摘This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile linear parameter-varying(LPV) H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching. The switched LPV model of morphing aircraft is established by Jacobian linearization approach according to the nonlinear model. The data missing is taken into account in the link from sensors to controllers and the link from controllers to actuators, which satisfies Bernoulli distribution. The non-fragile switched LPV controllers are constructed with consideration of the uncertainties of controllers and asynchronous switching phenomenon. The parameter-dependent Lyapunov functional method and mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT) method are combined to guarantee the stability and prescribed performance of the system. The sufficient conditions on the solvability of the problem are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities(LMI).In order to achieve higher efficiency of the designing process,an algorithm is applied to divide the whole set into subsets automatically.Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the method in the paper. | Haoyu CHENG Chaoyang DONG Weilai JIANG Qing WANG Yanze HOU | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3: | 6
The Effects of Microwave Ablation and Surgical Resection on Hematogenous Dissemination of Cancer Cells in Treating Patients with Small Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘OBJECTIVE To conduct a comparative study of the effects of treatment using microwave ablation versus surgical resection on hematogenous dissemination of cancer cells, and on the level of immune cells of the peripheral blood in patients with small primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC,≤5 cm). METHODS Forty patients with small PHC (maximal diameter≤5 cm) were divided into a microwave group (19 cases) and a surgical operation group (21 cases). A real-time (RT) quantitative nested RT-PCR examination was performed for peripheral blood alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) mRNA. Studies were conducted to determine the level of CD3, CD4, CD8 and CD4/CD8 cells and for liver function at 30 min before, and 30 min,1 day and 3 days after the treatment. RESULTS Compared to the value before ablation, no obvious changes of CD3, CD4, CD8 and CD4/CD8 cells were found in patients of the microwave group within 7 days after ablation, but CD3, CD4 and CD4/CD8 cells in the operation group were lower compared to that before operation. The copy number of AFP mRNA in the peripheral blood samples of the patients of the 2 groups before operation was determined in 67.5% of the patients (27/40). There was an rise in the expression after treatment but no statistical difference was found in comparing the 2 groups. Follow-up of the patients was conducted for 1 to 16 months. For patients with continuous expression of peripheral blood AFP mRNA, the possibility of relapse and metastasis was increased. CONCLUSION Surgical resection or microwave ablation can cause more exfoliation of hepatoma carcinoma cells in the peripheral blood of patients with small PHC. The immune function of peripheral blood cells decreased in the patients after surgical resection, however, the immune function was better protected following microwave ablation. Microwave ablation causes minor reduction in liver function, and the treatment method presents a definite value for PHC therapy. | Chaoyang Wen Boowei Dong Ping Liang Xiaoling Yu Li Su Dejiang Yu Honglian Xia | 2006 | Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology2006,3,4: | 6
Robust fault detection and optimization for a network of unmanned vehicles with imperfect communication channels显示文摘The observer-based robust fault detection and optimization for a network of unmanned vehicles with imperfect communication channels and norm bounded modeling uncertainties are addressed. The network of unmanned vehicles is modeled as a discrete-time uncertain Markovian jump system. Based on the model,a residual generator is constructed and the sufficient condition for the existence of the desired fault detection filter is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality.Furthermore,a time domain optimization approach is proposed to improve the performance of the fault detection system. The problem of detecting small faults can be formulated as an optimization problem and its solution is given. For preventing false alarms,a new adaptive threshold function is established. The combined fault detection and optimization algorithm and the adaptive threshold are then applied to a network of highly maneuverable technology vehicles to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. | Niu Erzhuo Wang Qing Dong Chaoyang | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,1: | 4
Normalization of ventral tegmental area structure following acupuncture in a rat model of heroin relapse显示文摘Drugs can cause obvious damage to the brain. To verify the relationship between acupuncture, neurotrophic factor expression and brain cell structural changes, this study established a rat model of heroin relapse using intramuscular injection of increasing amounts of heroin. During the detoxification period, rat models received acupuncture at Baihui(DU20) and Dazhui(DU14). Electron microscopy demonstrated that the structure of the ventral tegmental area in heroin relapse rats gradually became normalized after acupuncture treatment. Immunohistochemical staining exhibited that the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor increased in the ventral tegmental area following acupuncture. Moreover, the effects were similar to that of methadone, a type of medicine called an opioid. Results suggested that acupuncture at Baihui and Dazhui protected brain neurons against injury in rats with heroin relapse by promoting brain-derived neurotrophic factor and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor expression. | Rongjun Zhang Xinghui Cai Xiaoge Song Chaoyang Dong Xiaorong Hou Lei Lv | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,3: | 4
H_∞ output tracking control for flight control systems with time-varying delay显示文摘For flight control systems with time-varying delay,an H∞output tracking controller is proposed. The controller is designed for the discrete-time state-space model of general aircraft to reduce the effects of uncertainties of the mathematical model, external disturbances, and bounded time-varying delay. It is assumed that the feedback-control loop is closed by the communication network, and the network-based control architecture induces time-delays in the feedback information.Suppose that the time delay has both an upper bound and a lower bound.By using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and the linear matrix inequality(LMI),the delay-dependent stability criterion is derived for the time-delay system.Based on the criterion,a state-feedback H∞output tracking controller for systems with norm-bounded uncertainties and time-varying delay is presented. The control scheme is applied to the high incidence research model(HIRM),which shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach. | Zhang Yingxin Wang Qing Dong Chaoyang Jiang Yifan | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5: | 4
Output Feedback Dynamic Surface Controller Design for Airbreathing Hypersonic Flight Vehicle显示文摘This paper addresses issues related to nonlinear robust output feedback controller design for a nonlinear model of airbreathing hypersonic vehicle. The control objective is to realize robust tracking of velocity and altitude in the presence of immeasurable states, uncertainties and varying flight conditions.A novel reduced order fuzzy observer is proposed to estimate the immeasurable states. Based on the information of observer and the measured states, a new robust output feedback controller combining dynamic surface theory and fuzzy logic system is proposed for airbreathing hypersonic vehicle. The closedloop system is proved to be semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded(SUUB), and the tracking error can be made small enough by choosing proper gains of the controller, filter and observer. | 14 | Cross-Scale Synthesis of Organic High-k Semiconductors Based on Spiro-Gridized Nanopolymers显示文摘High dielectric constants in organic semiconductors have been identified as a central challenge for the improvement in not only piexoelectric, preolecric, and freeltric efcts but also photoclecric conversion eficiency in OPVs,carrier mobility in OFETS,and charge density in charge-trapping memories.Herein,we report an ultralong persistence length(≈41 nm)efet of spiro-fused organic nanopolymers on dielectric properties, together with excitonic and charge carrier behaviors. The state-of-the-art nanopolymers, namely, nanopolyspirogrids(NPSGs),are synthesized via the simple crossscale Friedel-Crafts polygridlization of AjB-type nanomonomers. The high dielectric constant(k=8.43)of NPSG is firstly achieved by locking spiro-polygridization efect that results in the enhancement of dipole polarization. When doping into a polystyrene-based dielectric layer, such a high-k feature of NPSG increases the feld-ffct carrier mobility from 0.20 to 0.90cm^(2)Vl s'in pentacene OFET devices.Meanwhile, amorphous NPSG film exhibits an ultralow energy disorder(<50 meV)for an exellent zero-field hole mobility of 3.94×10^(-1)cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1).surpassing most of the amorphousπconjugated polymers Onganic nanopolymers with high dielectric constants open a new way to break through the bottleneck of eficiency and multifunctionality in the blueprint of the fourth generation semiconductors. | Dongqing Lin Wenhua Zhang Hang Yin Haixia Hu Yang Li He Zhang Le Wang Xinmiao Xie Hongkai Hu Yongxia Yan Haifeng Ling Jin'an Liu Yue Qian Lei Tang Yongxia Wang Chaoyang Dong Linghai Xie Hao Zhang Shasha Wang Ying Wei Xuefeng Guo Dan Lu Wei Huang | 2022 | Research2022,,2: | 3
Physicochemical and tribological properties of gemini-type halogen-free dicationic ionic liquids显示文摘A series of new halogen-free dicationic ionic liquids(ILs)with different alkyl chain lengths were prepared, and the relationship between the alkyl chain length, physicochemical and tribological properties of ILs,and their role as neat lubricant for steel–steel friction pairs, was investigated.Evaluation of stability during hydrolysis and copper strip corrosion test results show that synthetic ILs are stable and not corrosive to metal contacts, due to the halogen-free anions. The friction and wear test results indicate that ILs with long alkyl chains have excellent friction-reducing and anti-wear properties, especially at high temperatures.Based on the surface three-dimensional(3D)profiles,electrical contact resistance, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and the X-ray photoelectron spectrometry(XPS)analysis of the worn surfaces of steel discs,we can conclude that the efficiency of ILs is due to the formation of high quality tribofilms that consist of both tribochemical reaction and ordered absorption films. | Qiangliang YU Chaoyang ZHANG Rui DONG Yijun SHI Yurong WANG Yanyan BAI Jiaying ZHANG Meirong CAI Feng ZHOU Weimin LIU | 2021 | Friction2021,9,2: | 3
Growth–climate response and drought reconstruction from tree-ring of Mongolian pine in Hulunbuir,Northeast China显示文摘Aims Drought affected by atmosphere–ocean cycle is a dominant factor influencing tree radial growth of sandy Mongolian pine(Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica)and regional vegetation dynamics in Hulunbuir,China. However, historical droughts and its correlations with tree radial growth and atmosphere–ocean cycle in this area have been little tested. Methods We developed tree-ring chronologies of Mongolian pine from Hulunbuir,Inner Mongolia,China and analyzed the correlations between tree-ring width index, the normalized difference vegetation index and Palmer drought severity index(PDSI),then developed a linear model to reconstruct the drought variability from 1829 to 2009.Long-term trends and its linkages with atmosphere–ocean cycle were performed by the power spectral, wavelet and teleconnection analysis.Important Findings The local moisture variations affected largely the regional vegetation dynamics and tree-ring growth of Mongolia pine in the forest–grassland transition.Using tree-ring width chronology of Mongolian pine, the reconstruction explains 49.2%of PDSI variance during their common data period(1951–2005).The reconstruction gives a broad-scale regional representation of PDSI in the Hulunbuir area, with drought occurrences in the 1850s,1900s,1920s,mid-1930s and at the turn of the 21st century.Comparisons with other treering drought reconstructions and historical records reveal some common drought periods and drying trends in recent decades at the northern margin zones of the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM).The drying trends in these zones occurred earlier than weakening of the EASM.A REDFIT spectral analysis shows significant peaks at 7.2,3.9,2.7–2.8,2.4 and 2.2 years with a 0.05 significance level, and 36.9,18.1 and 5.0 years with 0.1 significance level.Wavelet analysis also shows similar cycles.Drought variations in the study area significantly correlated with sea surface temperatures in the western tropical Pacific Ocean and middle and northern Indian Ocean, and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and North Atlantic Oscillation. This suggests a possible linkage with the El Niño-Southern Oscillation, the EASM and the Westerlies. | Zhongjie Shi Lihong Xu Linshui Dong Jixi Gao Xiaohui Yang Shihai Lü Chaoyang Feng Aiyun Song Hao Guo Xiao Zhang | 2016 | Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,1: | 3
Fault detection and optimization for networked control systems with uncertain time-varying delay显示文摘The observer-based robust fault detection filter design and optimization for networked control systems(NCSs) with uncertain time-varying delays are addressed. The NCSs with uncertain time-varying delays are modeled as parameter-uncertain systems by the matrix theory. Based on the model, an observer-based residual generator is constructed and the sufficient condition for the existence of the desired fault detection filter is derived in terms of the linear matrix inequality. Furthermore, a time domain optimization approach is proposed to improve the performance of the fault detection system. To prevent the false alarms, a new threshold function is established, and the solution of the optimization problem is given by using the singular value decomposition(SVD)of the matrix. | 18 | Switching disturbance rejection attitude control of near space vehicles with variable structure显示文摘A switching disturbance rejection attitude control law is proposed for a near space vehicle(NSV) with variable structure. The multiple flight modes, system uncertainties and disturbances of the NSV are taken into account based on switched nonlinear systems. Compared with traditional backstepping design methods, the proposed method utilizes the added integrals of attitude angle and angular rate tracking errors to further decrease the tracking errors. Moreover, to reduce the computation complexity, a rapid convergent differentiator is employed to obtain the derivative of the virtual control command. Finally, for disturbance rejection, based on the idea from the extended state observer(ESO), two disturbance observers are designed by using non-smooth functions to estimate the disturbances in the switched nonlinear systems. All signals of the closed-loop system are proven to be uniformly ultimately bounded under the Lyapunov function framework. | 19 | Closed-loop fault detection for full-envelope fligh vehicle with measurement delays显示文摘A closed-loop fault detection problem is investigated for the full-envelope flight vehicle with measurement delays, where the flight dynamics are modeled as a switched system with delayed feedback signals. The mode-dependent observer-based fault detection filters and state estimation feedback controllers are derived by considering the delays’impact on the control system and fault detection system simultaneously. Then, considering updating lags of the controllers/filters’switching signals which are introduced by the delayed measurement of altitude and Mach number,an asynchronous H∞ analysis method is proposed and the system model is further augmented to be an asynchronously switched time-delay system. Also, the global stability and desired performance of the augmented system are guaranteed by combining the switched delay-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method with the average dwell time method(ADT),and the delaydependent existing conditions for the controllers and fault detection filters are obtained in the form of the linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Finally, numerical example based on the hypersonic vehicles and highly maneuverable technology(Hi MAT)vehicle is given to demonstrate the merits of the proposed method. | Wang Zhaolei Wang Qing Dong Chaoyang Gong Ligang | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3: | 2
Weakly Singular Symmetric Galerkin Boundary Element Method for Fracture Analysis of Three-Dimensional Structures Considering Rotational Inertia and Gravitational Forces显示文摘The Symmetric Galerkin Boundary Element Method is advantageous for the linear elastic fracture and crackgrowth analysis of solid structures, because only boundary and crack-surface elements are needed. However, for engineering structures subjected to body forces such as rotational inertia and gravitational loads, additional domain integral terms in the Galerkin boundary integral equation will necessitate meshing of the interior of the domain. In this study,weakly-singular SGBEM for fracture analysis of three-dimensional structures considering rotational inertia and gravitational forces are developed.By using divergence theorem or alternatively the radial integration method, the domain integral terms caused by body forces are transformed into boundary integrals. And due to the weak singularity of the formulated boundary integral equations,a simple Gauss-Legendre quadrature with a few integral points is sufficient for numerically evaluating the SGBEM equations. Some numerical examples are presented to verify this approach and results are compared with benchmark solutions. | Shuangxin He Chaoyang Wang Xuan Zhou Leiting Dong Satya N.Atluri | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,6: | 1
