| 1 | Using acupoint-to-acupoint penetrative needling to treat poststroke spastic paralysis:a clinical progress review显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the characteristics and advantages of acupoint-to-acupoint penetrative needling(AAPN) treatment for post-stroke spastic paralysis(PSSP) to improve the clinical outcomes of this disease in the future.METHODS: Randomized, controlled trials of PSSP patients receiving AAPN treatment were searched from MEDLINE, EMBASE, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database between January 2006 and June 2013. Key words included: clinic or clinical, acupuncture, needling, acupoint-to-acupoint, penetrative or penetration or penetrating,stroke or apoplexy or cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage, spastic paralysis or spasticity or palsy,and hypermyotonia. Language was limited to English and Chinese. Case series reports, review articles, and animal studies were excluded.RESULTS: AAPN showed better clinical results on PSSP than other acupuncture treatments, especially when combined with adjunct therapies such as electroacupuncture, bloodletting, and rehabilitation. The greatest benefit was achieved with rehabilitation combined with penetration from Yang-channel acupoints to Yin-channel acupoints in the upper limbs, and from Yin-channel acupoints to Yang-channel acupoints in the lower limbs with a reinforcing maneuver.CONCLUSION: AAPN is an effective treatment for PSSP, and it can accelerate and enhance functional repair of PSSP patients. | Xiafei Liu Chunling Bao Guirong Dong | 2014 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,5: | 7 |
| 2 | An efficient catalytic system for the synthesis of glycerol carbonate by oxidative carbonylation of glycerol显示文摘Glycerol carbonate was synthesized by the oxidative carbonylation of glycerol catalyzed by the commercial Pd/C with the aid of NaI.High conversion of glycerol(82.2%),selectivity to glycerol carbonate(>99%),and TOF(900 h–1)were obtained under the conditions of 5 MPa(pCO:pO2=2:1),140 oC,2 h.The highly active palladium species were generated in situ by dissolution from the carbon support and stabilized by re-deposition onto the support surface after the reaction was finished.Palladium dissolution and re-deposition were crucial and inherent parts of the catalytic cycle,which involved heterogeneous reactions.This Pd/C catalyst could be recycled and efficiently reused for four times with a gradual decrease in activity.Moreover,the influences of various parameters,e.g.,types of catalysts,solvents,additives,reaction temperature,pressure,and time on the conversion of glycerol were investigated.A reaction mechanism was proposed for oxidative carbonylation of glycerol to glycerol carbonate. | WANG LiYan LIU Yan LIU ChunLing YANG RongZhen DONG WenSheng | 2013 | Science China Chemistry2013,56,10: | 4 |
| 3 | Expression of Pseudorabies Virus gE Core Epitopes in Escherichia coli Strain BL21 and Utilization of Indirect PRV gE-ELISA显示文摘Pseudorabies virus glycoprotein E( PRV gE) has been recognized as a suitable diagnostic antigen for pseudorabies. In order to produce gE antigen in large quantities and at low cost,a gene fragment encoding PRV gE core epitopes was expressed in E. coli BL21 expression system. SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting revealed that the expression product in culture supernatant of E. coli BL21 was a recombinant protein,approximately 51. 8 Kd. At 5 h post-induction,protein concentration assay showed that the expression product amounted to 1. 65 mg /ml,accounting for 24. 17% of total proteins in the culture supernatant. An indirect PRV gE-ELISA was established by using the recombinant expression product as a coating antigen. Cross-reactivity assay showed that this antigen was PRV specific. In addition,the assay was consistently reproducible. | 5 | Two-Stage Lesion Detection Approach Based on Dimension-Decomposition and 3D Context显示文摘Lesion detection in Computed Tomography(CT) images is a challenging task in the field of computer-aided diagnosis.An important issue is to locate the area of lesion accurately.As a branch of Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs),3D Context-Enhanced(3DCE) frameworks are designed to detect lesions on CT scans.The False Positives(FPs) detected in 3DCE frameworks are usually caused by inaccurate region proposals,which slow down the inference time.To solve the above problems,a new method is proposed,a dimension-decomposition region proposal network is integrated into 3DCE framework to improve the location accuracy in lesion detection.Without the restriction of 'anchors' on ratios and scales,anchors are decomposed to independent 'anchor strings'.Anchor segments are dynamically combined in accordance with probability,and anchor strings with different lengths dynamically compose bounding boxes.Experiments show that the accurate region proposals generated by our model promote the sensitivity of FPs and spend less inference time compared with the current methods. | Jiacheng Jiao Haiwei Pan Chunling Chen Tao Jin Yang Dong Jingyi Chen | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1: | 1 |

| 18 | Ordered mesoporous Ba CO_3/C-catalyzed synthesis of glycerol carbonate from glycerol and dimethyl carbonate显示文摘Ordered mesoporous Ba CO3/C composites were synthesized by a multi-component co-assembly method combined with a carbonization process using phenolic resol as carbon source, barium nitrate as barium precursor, and triblock copolymer Pluronic F127 as template. The synthesized materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, N2 physical adsorption, thermogravimetric analysis, and temperature-programmed desorption of CO2. When Ba CO3 contents were increased from 9.1 wt% to 44.7 wt%, pore size increased from 3.1 to 4.3 nm and the BET(Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) surface area initially increased to a maximum value of 390 m2 g-1(at a Ba CO3 content of 18.5 wt%) before subsequently decreasing. Ba CO3 was well dispersed in the amorphous carbon framework, and no phase separation was observed. The mesoporous BaCO3/C composites exhibited high catalytic activities toward the transesterification of glycerol and dimethyl carbonate into glycerol carbonate. A total of 12 batches of vaccines from three companies were used for the immune of SPF chickens and SPF ducks. Each chicken or duck serum was separately collected every 3 weeks until the immunization up to the 24 th week. The serum antibody titers of Re-6 and Re-4 were detected.
