| 1 | Reinforcement Learning from Algorithm Model to Industry Innovation Innovation: A Foundation Stone of Future Artificial Intelligence显示文摘Reinforcement learning(RL)algorithm has been introduced for several decades, which becomes a paradigm in sequential decision-making and control. The development of reinforcement learning, especially in recent years, has enabled this algorithm to be applied in many industry fields, such as robotics, medical intelligence, and games. This paper first introduces the history and background of reinforcement learning, and then illustrates the industrial application and open source platforms. After that, the successful applications from AlphaGo to AlphaZero and future reinforcement learning technique are focused on.Finally, the artificial intelligence for complex interaction(e.g.,stochastic environment, multiple players, selfish behavior, and distributes optimization)is considered and this paper concludes with the highlight and outlook of future general artificial intelligence. | DONG Shaokang CHEN Jiarui LIU Yong BAO Tianyi GAO Yang | 2019 | ZTE Communications2019,17,3: | 1 |
| 2 | Design of single-phased magnesium alloys with typically high solubility rare earth elements for biomedical applications:Concept and proof显示文摘Rare earth elements(REEs)have been long applied in magnesium alloys, among which the mischmetal-containing WE43 alloy has already got the CE mark approval for clinical application.A considerable amount of REEs(7 wt%)is needed in that multi-phased alloy to achieve a good combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. However, the high complex RE addition accompanied with multiple second phases may bring the concern of biological hazards.Single-phased Mg-RE alloys with simpler compositions were proposed to improve the overall performance,i.e.,“Simpler alloy, better performance”.The single-phased microstructure can be successfully obtained with typical high-solubility REEs(Ho,Er or Lu)through traditional smelting, casting and extrusion in a wide compositional range.A good corrosion resistance with a macroscopically uniform corrosion mode was guaranteed by the homogeneously single-phased microstructure. The bimodal-grained structure with plenty of sub-grain microstructures allow us to minimize the RE addition to<1 wt%,without losing mechanical properties. The single-phased Mg-RE alloys show comparable mechanical properties to the clinically-proven Mg-based implants. They exhibited similar in-vitro and in-vivo performances(without local or systematic toxicity in SD-rats)compared to a high purity magnesium. In addition, metal elements in our single-phased alloys can be gradually excreted through the urinary system and digestive system, showing no consistent accumulation of RE in main organs,i.e.,less burden on organs. The novel concept in this study focuses on the simplification of Mg-RE based alloys for biomedical purpose, and other biodegradable metals with single-phased microstructures are expected to be explored. | Dong Bian Xiao Chu Jin Xiao Zhipei Tong He Huang Qinggong Jia Jianing Liu Wenting Li Hui Yu Yue He Limin Ma Xiaolan Wang Mei Li Tao Yang Wenhan Huang Chi Zhang Mengyu Yao Yu Zhang Zhigang Xu Shaokang Guan Yufeng Zheng | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,4: | 1 |
| 3 | Highly selective growth of(6,5)single-walled carbon nanotubes from sigma phase alloy catalyst显示文摘The chirality structure of a single-walled carbon nanotube(SWNT)strongly depends on the composition of catalyst used in the chemical vapor deposition process. In this study,we develop a porous magnesia supported manganese-rhenium(MnRe/MgO)catalyst for chirality-selective synthesis of SWNTs.Detailed characterizations reveal that(6,5)tubes with a selectivity higher than 70%are grown from the Re-rich MnRe/MgO catalyst.By comparing the SWNT growth results with those of monometallic Mn or Re,the formation of sigma phase,an intermetallic compound occurring in transition-metal alloy systems,is revealed to be crucial for the dominant synthesis of(6,5)SWNTs.This work not only extends the application of sigma phase alloy for catalytic synthesis of SWNTs,but also sheds lights on the growth of SWNTs with a high chirality selectivity. | Liantao Xin Chen Ma Qianru Wu Shaokang Liu Linhai Li Xiuyun Zhang Liu Qian Maoshuai He Dong Li Fangqian Han Shulan Hao Lihu Feng Yahan Li Huaping Liu Lili Zhang Chang Liu Jin Zhang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0 |
| 4 | Mechanical behaviours of bedded sandstone under hydromechanical coupling显示文摘The combination of the dipping effect and hydromechanical(H-M)coupling effect can easily lead to water inrush disasters in water-rich roadways with different dip angles in coal mines.Therefore,H-M coupling tests of bedded sandstones under identical osmotic pressure and various confining pressures were conducted. Then, the evolution curves of stress-strain,permeability and damage,macro-and mesoscopic failure characteristics were obtained.Subsequently, the mechanical behaviour was characterized, and finally the failure mechanism was revealed. The results showed that:(1)The failure of the sandstone with the bedding angle of 45°or 60°was the structure-dominant type, while that with the bedding angle of 0°,30°or 90°was the force-dominant type.(2)When the bedding angle was in the range of(0°,30°)or(45°,90°),the confining pressure played a dominant role in influencing the peak strength.However,withinβ∈(30°,45°),the bedding effect played a dominant role in the peak strength.(3)With the increase in bedding angle, the cohesion increased first, then decreased and finally increased, while the internal friction angle was the opposite.(4)When the bedding angle was 0°or 30°,the“water wedging”effect and the“bedding buckling”effect would lead to the forking or converging shear failure. When the bedding angle was 45°or 60°,the sliding friction effect would lead to the shear slipping failure. When the bedding angle was 90°,the combination of the“bedding buckling”effect and shear effect would lead to the mixed tension-shear failure. The above conclusions obtained are helpful for the prevention of water inrush disasters in water-rich roadways with different dips in coal mines. | Junwen Zhang Zhixiang Song Lichao Zhang Shaokang Wu Shanyong Wang Yang Zhang Xukai Dong Jinxin Wang Yanbo Han Baohua Kan | 2024 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2024,16,4: | 0 |
