1Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. 4Effects of brain-derived neurotrophic factor on synapsin expression in rat spinal cord anterior horn neurons cultured in vitro显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) promotes synaptic formation and functional maturation by upregulating synapsin expression in cortical and hippocampal neurons. However, it remains controversial whether BDNF affects synapsin expression in spinal cord anterior horn neurons. Wistar rat spinal cord anterior horn neurons were cultured in serum-supplemented medium containing BDNF, BDNF antibody, and Hank's solution for 3 days, and then synapsin I and synaptophysin protein and mRNA expression was detected. Under serum-supplemented conditions, the number of surviving neurons in the spinal cord anterior horn was similar among BDNF, anti-BDNF, and control groups (P > 0.05). Synapsin I and synaptophysin protein and mRNA expressions were increased in BDNF-treated neurons, but decreased in BDNF antibody-treated neurons (P < 0.01). 8Growth regularity and phase diagrams of NaLu_(0.795−x)Y_(x)F_(4) upconversion nanocrystals synthesized by automatic nanomaterial synthesizer显示文摘The growth regularities of nanomaterials are often concealed by the contingency of preparation. Therefore, it is always very difficult to figure out growth regularities of nanomaterials due to the accompanying undulation of products. A series of precise synthesis was performed by using an automatic nanomaterial synthesizer (ANS) in order to explore the growth regularity of complex NaREF4 (RE: rare earth) upconversion nanocrystals (UCNCs). The use of ANS significantly enhances the experimental controllability, repeatability, and success rate. Mass experimental research exhibited that the NaLu_(0.795−x)Y_(x)F_(4):Yb^(3+)/Tm^(3+) (x = 0−0.795) UCNCs can vary their sizes continuously in a wide range to accurately meet the experimenter’s design merely by controlling the concentration of Y^(3+). A notable growth regularity was obtained and intuitively shown in growth phase diagrams. Furthermore, in the case of having excellent monodispersity, pure hexagonal phase, and uniform morphology, the prepared UCNCs still retained superior upconversion luminescent (UCL) properties. The regular changes in UCL properties further confirmed the growth regularity of the UCNCs. After analyzing the experimental data, we found that NaLu_(0.795−x)Y_(x)F_(4) combined the advantages of NaYF_(4) and NaLuF_(4) hosts with desired sizes. 10Facile fabrication of graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4) for electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘With the development of the miniaturization of electronic equipment and lightweight weapon equipment,there are new requirements for electromagnetic wave absorption material(EMWAM).EMWAM has outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption properties and lightweight characteristics become an important direction of research.In this study,graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4)(GGCN)EMWAM was first synthesized in situ by simple heat treatment,in which the g-C_(3)N_(4) had a porous structure and dispersed on the surface of graphene.The impedance matching of the GGCN was well adjusted by decreasing the dielectric constant and attenuation constant due to the g-C_(3)N_(4) semiconductor property and the graphite-like structure.The EMW loss mechanism of GGCN was also analyzed by simulating GGCN’s electric field mode distribution and resistance loss power density.The analysis result shows that the distribution of g-C_(3)N_(4) among GGCN sheets can produce more polarization effects and relaxation effects by increasing the lamellar spacing.Furthermore,the polarization loss of GGCN could be increased successfully by porous g-C_(3)N_(4).Ultimately,the EMW absorption property of GGCN is optimized significantly,and GGCN exhibits excellent EMW absorption performance.When the thickness is 2 mm,the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can reach 4.6 GHz,and when the thickness is 4.5 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)at 4.56 GHz can reach-34.69 dB.Moreover,the practical application of EMWAM was studied by radar cross-section(RCS)simulation,showing that GGCN has a good application prospect.Qiang Su Yunfei He Dongdong Liu Daguang Li Long Xia Xiaoxiao Huang Bo Zhong 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
11Nano-effect enhanced cooperative luminescence of Yb^(3+) clusters in bulk materials显示文摘In order to improve the multi-ion cooperative transition, we proposed and exploited a novel nanoscale effect, namely the nanoshell effect in bulk materials. Based on the effect, an optimal material structure was designed by coating the surfaces of Ca F_(2):Yb^(3+)micron size particles with ZrO_(2). An about 2 times higher intensity of cooperative luminescence is observed upon laser excitation at 980 nm. Dynamical analysis exhibits that the novel effect plays a key role in improving the performance of cooperative transitions. 13Comprehensive characterization of donkey milk serum proteins显示文摘Donkey milk(DM)has attracted immense attention owing to its resemblance to human milk.Consequently,its components require rigorous analysis.This study aimed to identify DM serum proteins(DMSPs)using a label-free MS-based proteomics method.Herein,1243 DMSPs were characterized in Dezhou DM,and 788 common DMSPs were identified and subsequently analyzed.Gene ontology analysis indicated the involvement of these proteins in cellular components(extracellular exosomes,extracellular space,and focal adhesion),biological processes(small guanosine triphosphatase(GTPase)-mediated signal transduction,translation,and intracellular protein transport),and molecular functions(calcium ion binding,GTP binding,and poly(A)RNA binding).Additionally,metabolic pathway analysis confirmed that protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum is the most related metabolic pathway,followed by those of ribosomes,phagosomes,endocytosis,complement,and coagulation cascades.This study,aimed at decoding the DM composition,advances our understanding of the potential biological functions of DMSPs.Mohan Li Qing Zhu Ruiyao Hong Daguang Feng Yiming Liu Xiqing Yue 2022Journal of Future Foods2022,2,3:0
