| 1 | Multiary turbo code fitting for unitary space-time modulation and its MAP decoding algorithm显示文摘Unitary space-time modulation(USTM) fits for rapid Rayleigh flat fading channels as it can realize wireless communication when neither the transmitter nor the receiver knows the channel state information(CSI).However,an intrinsic problem is that only when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) is high can it give an ideal bit error rate(BER) performance.The existing bit-wise processing scheme of the combination of turbo code and USTM improves the BER performance and results in an unacceptable calculation complexity,storage and time delay problem.In this paper,we propose a multiary processing scheme and its corresponding multiary MAP decoding algorithm.Simulation results verify that our scheme can reduce the system complexity while keep a good BER performance.Furthermore,we present the first analysis of the reason for the BER performance deterioration of the combination scheme at low SNR with the help of the definition of USTM. | ZHANG DaPeng LU Ju XU HongJi ZHANG XingYu | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12: | 4 |
| 2 | Quercetin promotes human epidermal stem cell proliferation through the estrogen receptor/β-catenin/c-Myc/cyclin A2 signaling pathway显示文摘Skin epidermal stem cells(EpSCs)play an important role in wound healing.Quercetin is a phytoestrogen reported to accelerate skin wound healing,but its effect on EpSCs is unknown.In this study,we investigated the effect of quercetin on human EpSC proliferation and explored the underlying mechanisms.We found that quercetin at 0.1~1μM significantly promoted EpSC proliferation and increased the number of cells in S phase.The pro-proliferative effect of quercetin on EpSCs was confirmed in cultured human skin tissue.Mechanistic studies showed that quercetin significantly upregulated the expressions ofβ-catenin,c-Myc,and cyclins A2 and E1.Inhibitor forβ-catenin or c-Myc significantly inhibited quercetin-induced EpSC proliferation.Theβ-catenin inhibitor XAV-939 suppressed quercetin-induced expressions ofβ-catenin,c-Myc,and cyclins A2 and E1.The c-Myc inhibitor 10058-F4 inhibited the upregulation of c-Myc and cyclin A2 by quercetin.Pretreatment of EpSCs with estrogen receptor(ER)antagonist ICI182780,but not the G protein-coupled ER1 antagonist G15,reversed quercetin-induced cell proliferation and upregulation ofβ-catenin,c-Myc,and cyclin A2.Collectively,these results indicate that quercetin promotes EpSC proliferation through ER-mediated activation ofβ-catenin/c-Myc/cyclinA2 signaling pathway and ER-independent upregulation of cyclin E1 and that quercetin may accelerate skin wound healing through promoting EpSC proliferation.As EpSCs are used not only in clinic to treat skin wounds but also as seed cells in skin tissue engineering,quercetin is a useful reagent to expand EpSCs for basic research,skin wound treatment,and skin tissue engineering. | Zhaodong Wang Guangliang Zhang Yingying Le Jihui Ju Ping Zhang Dapeng Wan Qiang Zhao Guangzhe Jin Hao Su Jinwei Liu Jiaxuan Feng Yi Fu Ruixing Hou | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,10: | 3 |

Pair-wise error probability (PEP) is an important factor for studying the reliability of a communication system. However, the existing scheme only gives the final result of PEP and the corresponding Chernoff upper bound (CUB) is obtained through magnification, which is not of universal significance for this kind of problems. In this paper, we employ the log-likelihood ratio of probability density functions of the received signals conditioned on the two possibly transmitted signals and by virtue of moment generating function we give the details in deriving the final precise residue expression for PEP and its CUB. | 9 | Integrated neural tracing and in-situ barcoded sequencing reveals the logic of SCN efferent circuits in regulating circadian behaviors显示文摘The circadian clock coordinates rhythms in numerous physiological processes to maintain organismal homeostasis. Since the suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN) is widely accepted as the circadian pacemaker, it is critical to understand the neural mechanisms by which rhythmic information is transferred from the SCN to peripheral clocks. Here, we present the first comprehensive map of SCN efferent connections and suggest a molecular logic underlying these projections. The SCN projects broadly to most major regions of the brain, rather than solely to the hypothalamus and thalamus. The efferent projections from different subtypes of SCN neurons vary in distance and intensity, and blocking synaptic transmission of these circuits affects circadian rhythms in locomotion and feeding to different extents. We also developed a barcoding system to integrate retrograde tracing with in-situ sequencing, allowing us to link circuit anatomy and spatial patterns of gene expression. Analyses using this system revealed that brain regions functioning downstream of the SCN receive input from multiple neuropeptidergic cell types within the SCN, and that individual SCN neurons generally project to a single downstream brain region.This map of SCN efferent connections provides a critical foundation for future investigations into the neural circuits underlying SCNmediated rhythms in physiology.
