3Removal of Organochlorine from Model Oil Using Mg-Modified ZSM-5 Zeolite:Dechlorination Performance,Regeneration,and Thermodynamics显示文摘Various metal-modified ZSM-5 zeolite adsorbents prepared by the impregnation method were applied to the removal of organic chlorides from model naphtha.The adsorption performance and regeneration stability were investigated by static adsorption experiments.The morphologies,structural features,and physicochemical properties of the adsorbents were characterized by X-ray diffraction,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis,NH3 temperature-programmed desorption,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and pyridine adsorption infrared spectroscopy.The Mg/ZSM-5 zeolite adsorbent possessed a relatively high specific surface area and good metal dispersion and exhibited the best dechlorination and regeneration performance.The characterization results revealed that introduction of the metal exerted a significant influence on the acidic properties of the catalyst surface.A decrease in the ratio of Brønsted acidic sites to Lewis acidic sites and an increase in the amount of moderately acidic sites were confirmed to be responsible for the excellent adsorption performance of the Mg-modified ZSM-5 zeolite.Furthermore,the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model was applied to study the adsorption equilibrium and thermodynamics of the Mg/ZSM-5 adsorbent under mild conditions.The results revealed that the removal of 1,2-dichloroethane by the Mg/ZSM-5 adsorbent was endothermic,spontaneous,disordered,and primarily involved physical adsorption.Cheng Xingyuan Gu Jie Huang Bingtian Bing Liancheng Han Dezhi Wang Guangjian Wang Fang 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,2:1

5A high-precision multi-dimensional microspectroscopic technique for morphological and properties analysis of cancer cell显示文摘Raman and Brillouin scattering are sensitive approaches to detect chemical composition and mechanical elasticity pathology of cells in cancer development and their medical treatment researches.The application is,however,suffering from the lack of ability to synchronously acquire the scattering signals following three-dimensional(3D)cell morphology with reasonable spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio.Herein,we propose a divided-aperture laser differential confocal 3D Geometry-Raman-Brillouin microscopic detection technology,by which reflection,Raman,and Brillouin scattering signals are simultaneously in situ collected in real time with an axial focusing accuracy up to 1 nm,in the height range of 200μm.The divided aperture improves the anti-noise capability of the system,and the noise influence depth of Raman detection reduces by 35.4%,and the Brillouin extinction ratio increases by 22 dB.A high-precision multichannel microspectroscopic system containing these functions is developed,which is utilized to study gastric cancer tissue.As a result,a 25%reduction of collagen concentration,42%increase of DNA substances,17%and 9%decrease in viscosity and elasticity are finely resolved from the 3D mappings.These findings indicate that our system can be a powerful tool to study cancer development new therapies at the sub-cell level.Lirong Qiu Yunhao Su Ke-Mi Xu Han Cui Dezhi Zheng Yuanmin Zhu Lin Li Fang Li Weiqian Zhao 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,6:0
6Blood pressure,body mass index lowering and ketogenesis in Qigong Bigu显示文摘Background:Hypertension is one of the most common comorbid conditions of epilepsy.Hypertension and epilepsy may be related to each other.Qigong Bigu practice induces a similar effect as fasting in the first week.As ketogenesis is induced during ketogenic diet therapy,we hypothesize that ketogenesis is detectable and related body weight loss would occur during the first week of Qigong Bigu practice.Methods:During the prospective observational study,34 healthy adult participants attended the Qigong Bigu practice for one week.The blood pressure,body weight,calorie consumption,blood glucose and beta-hydroxybutyrate level were measured.Results:The body weight and body mass index decreased by 2.39±1.34 kg(95%CI 1.92–2.85)and 0.94±0.57(95%CI 0.73–1.15),respectively,after five days of practice(P<0.001).The systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased by 17.86±14.17 mmHg(95%CI 12.36–23.35)and 9.75±7.45 mmHg(95%CI 6.86–12.64),respectively(P<0.001).The average five-day calorie consumption was 1197.47±569.97 kcal(95%CI 998.60–1396.35).Meanwhile,no symptomatic hypoglycemia or other significant side effects were observed.The blood beta-hydroxybutyrate level increased to a nutritional level of 1.15±1.12 mmol/L(95%CI 0.76–1.62).The calorie consumption negatively correlated to the beta-hydroxybutyrate level in the blood.The loss of body weight and the decrease of body mass index were positively correlated to the blood beta-hydroxybutyrate level.Conclusions:Qigong Bigu can decrease the blood pressure,the body weight and the body mass index in healthy adult participants.The fasting stage of Qigong Bigu is accompanied by ketogenesis.Clinical trial of Qigong Bigu in hypertension and epilepsy patients might be worthwhile.The blood beta-hydroxybutyrate might be used as a biomarker to evaluate the effect of Qigong Bigu practice during fasting.Bin Hong Runqi Luo Dezhi Cao Man Zhang Kewei Fang Jianhong Guo Jianxiang Liao 2021Acta Epileptologica2021,3,1:0

8Anti-NMDAR encephalitis with seizure-like activity and hemiplegia-a case report and literature review显示文摘Background Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDAR)encephalitis accounts for the vast majority of cases of autoimmune encephalitis.Its common clinical symptoms are psychiatric symptoms,behavioral dysfunction,seizures,speech impairment,cognitive impairment,movement disorders,decreased consciousness,and autonomic instability.This report was aimed to provide evidence for anti-NMDAR encephalitis with seizure-like activity,based on the clinical presentations,brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),and electroencephalogram(EEG)recordings.Case presentation We report a 11-year-old girl who suffered epigastric pain after vigorous physical activity.She felt weakness of the muscles.She had syncope only once and urinary incontinence on the way to the hospital and vomited at the arrival.The entire procedure lasted approximately 15 min.The next night she had recurrent headache attacks along with irritability,like someone“tapping”to the right occipital region.She experienced numbness in the left upper limbs and shallowing of the frontal lines on the left side.Holter monitoring showed normal findings,but brain MRI,EEG recording,and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)antibody testing showed abnormal results.The patient was finally diagnosed with anti-NMDAR encephalitis.After treatment with glucocorticoids and acyclovir,she fully recovered and was discharged from the hospital.Conclusions Although the patient presented with pain and impaired limb movements,she did not have respiratory or(and)circulatory failure,and the symptoms entirely resolved.Early accurate diagnosis and timely treatment are essential for patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis.Junjie Hu Cailei Zhao Xia Zhao Yu Fang Huiting Zhang Dezhi Cao Jianxiang Liao 2022Acta Epileptologica2022,5,4:0
9Sequentially releasing self-healing hydrogel fabricated with TGFβ3-microspheres and bFGF to facilitate rat alveolar bone defect repair显示文摘Resorption and loss of alveolar bone leads to oral dysfunction and loss of natural or implant teeth. Biomimetic delivery of growth factors based on stem cell recruitment and osteogenic differentiation, as the key steps in natural alveolar bone regenerative process, has been an area of intense research in recent years. A mesoporous self-healing hydrogel(DFH) with basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) entrapment and transforming growth factor β3(TGFβ3)-loaded chitosan microspheres(CMs) was developed. The formulation was optimized by multiple tests of self-healing, in-bottle inversion, SEM, rheological, swelling rate and in vitro degradation. In vitro tubule formation assays, cell migration assays, and osteogenic differentiation assays confirmed the ability of DFH to promote blood vessels, recruit stem cells, and promote osteogenic differentiation. The optimum DFH formula is 0.05 ml 4ArmPEG-DF(20%) added to 1 ml CsGlu(2%) containing bFGF(80 ng) and TGFβ3-microspheres(5 mg). The results of in vitro release studied by Elisa kit, indicated an 95% release of b FGF in7 d and long-term sustained release of TGFβ3. For alveolar defects rat models, the expression levels of CD29 and CD45, the bone volume fraction, trabecular number, and trabecular thickness of new bone monitored by Micro-CT in DFH treatment groups were significantly higher than others(*P < 0.05, vs Model). HE and Masson staining show the same results.In conclusion, DFH is a design of bionic alveolar remodelling microenvironment, that is in early time microvessels formed by b FGF provide nutritious to recruited endogenous stem cells, then TGFβ3 slowly released speed up the process of new bones formation to common facilitate rat alveolar defect repair. 12In-situ construction of abundant active centers on hierarchically porous carbon electrode toward high-performance phosphate electrosorption: Synergistic effect of electric field and capture sites显示文摘Phosphate removal is crucial for eutrophication control and water quality improvement.Electro-assisted adsorption,an eco-friendly elec-trosorption process,exhibited a promising potential for wastewater treatment.However,there are few works focused on phosphate electro-sorption,and reported electrodes cannot attach satisfactory removal capacities and rates.Herein,electro-assisted adsorption of phosphate via in-situ construction of La active centers on hierarchically porous carbon(LaPC)has been originally demonstrated.The resulted LaPC composite not only possessed a hierarchically porous structure with uniformly dispersed La active sites,but also provided good conductivity for interfacial electron transfer.The LaPC electrode achieved an ultrahigh phosphate electrosorption capability of 462.01 mg g^(-1) at 1 V,outperforming most existing electrodes.The superior phosphate removal performance originates from abundant active centers formed by the coupling of electricfield and capture sites.Besides,the stability and selectivity toward phosphate capture were maintained well even under comprehensive conditions.Moreover,a series of kinetics and isotherms models were employed to validate the electrosorption process.This work demonstrates a deep understanding and promotes a new level of phosphate electrosorption.Peng Zhang Fukuan Li Mingming He Silu Huo Xueli Zhang Benqiang Cen Dezhi Fang Kexun Li Hao Wang 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,1:0
