| 3 | Effect of Short-term Forest Bathing in Urban Parks on Perceived Anxiety of Young-adults: A Pilot Study in Guiyang, Southwest China显示文摘Forest can be taken as a natural therapy to alleviate perceived anxiety of visitors. Given the geographical difference between urban and rural forest environments, little is known about the urban forest therapy effect of anxiety alleviation with reference to the rural forest. In this study, forty-three university students(aged from 19 to 23) were recruited as participants to visit the forest parks at urban and rural areas of Guiyang City on 21 and 23 December 2016. The forest experience was separated by four sceneries. Participants were asked to complete questionnaires by self-evaluating specific anxiety change from 12 questions with scores from 1 to 10 at both entrance and exit of the parks. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test and paired t-test were used to compare the change of anti-anxiety scores during forest bathing and between urban and rural forests, respectively. Results revealed that forest bathing in the urban park can alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0028), exam-pass pressure(P = 0.0040) and love-affair relationship(P = 0.0286). Although rural forest bathing can also alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0222), meanwhile, it maintained the anxiety about campus life(P < 0.0001). Forest tree richness tended to be higher in the rural forest park than in the urban one, which in contrast decreased the anxiety alleviation from inter-communication in the rural forest park(P = 0.0487). Principle component analysis indicated that participants tended to perceive more decline of anxiety from social contact in the urban forest. In conclusion, university students were recommended to pay a short visit to the urban forest with partners if they felt anxious about personal affairs and felt necessary to talk with others. | 4 | Hot deformation behavior and workability characteristic of a fine-grained Mg–8Sn–2Zn–2Al alloy with processing map显示文摘The hot deformation behavior of a fine-grained Mg–8 Sn–2 Zn–2 Al(TZA822, in wt%) alloy was investigated in the temperature range of 150–350°C and the strain rate of 0.01–10 s^-1 employing thermomechanical simulator. In most of the cases, the material showed typical dynamic recrystallization(DRX) features i.e., a signal peak value followed by a gradual decrease or to reach a steady state. The work hardening rate was found to increase with decreasing temperature and increasing strain rate, while strain rates had great effects on work hardening behavior. Meanwhile, the constitutive analysis indicated that cross-slip of dislocations was likely to be the dominant deformation mechanism. In addition, the processing map at the strain of 0.1–0.7 showed two stability domains with high power dissipation efficiencies and the optimum hot working parameters for the studied alloy was determined to be 350°C/0.01 s^-1 and 350°C/10 s^-1, at which continuous DRX(CDRX) and discontinuous DRX(DDRX) as main softening mechanism. | 5 | Study on Water Conservation Capacity of Litter from Different Types of Forest in Caohai Basin显示文摘[Objective]The research aimed to understand water conservation capacity of litter from different forest types in Caohai basin. [Method] Current storage amount,water holding capacity and precipitation interception ability of litter from 4 types of forest were investigated and studied. [Result]The order of exist litter amount was grass slope >shrub forest >mixed broad leaf-conifer forest >coniferous forest. The order of natural water holding capacity was mixed broad leafconifer forest > coniferous forest > grass slope > shrub forest. The relevance between water holding capacity of litter and soaking time was in line with this formula: y = kln( x) + b. During 0-120 min of litter soaking,water holding capacity increased rapidly. After 120 min,the increasing trend remained flat until closing to the maximum water holding capacity. The relevance between water absorption rate of litter and soaking time was in line with this formula: y = a + bx-1. In the beginning of soaking,water absorption rates of litter from different woodlands showed great difference. As soaking time went by,water absorption rates of litter from different woodlands all declined sharply. During 0-120 min,declining velocity of water absorption rate was quicker. After 120 min,the declining trend tended to be slow. The maximum water holding capacity of litter presented the order of shrub forest > mixed broad leafconifer forest > grass slope > coniferous forest. The maximum precipitation interception amount of litter presented the order of shrub forest > grass slope > mixed broad leafconifer forest > coniferous forest. | 14 | Shifts of sediment bacterial community and respiration along a successional gradient in a typical karst plateau lake wetland(China)显示文摘Bacteria are important regulators of carbon cycling in lakes and are central to sediment ecosystem processes.However,the sediment microbial communities and their respiratory responses to the lake wetland succession are poorly understood.In this study,we collected sediment samples from four different succession points(the Potamogeton lucens zone,the Scirpus tabernaemontani zone,the Scirpus triqueter zone,and the Juncus effusus zone)in the Caohai Wetland of the Guizhou Plateau(China).The bacterial communities at these succession points were studied using a high-throughput sequencing approach.The sediment microbial respiration(SR)was measured using static chambers in the field and basal respiration(BR)was determined in the laboratory.The results show that the dominant bacterial taxa in the sediment was Proteobacteria(34.7%),Chloroflexi(17.8%),Bacteroidetes(7.3%),Acidobacteria(6.6%),and Cyanobacteria(6.1%).Principal coordinate analysis showed that the microbial community structure differs significantly at different sampling points along the successional gradient,indicating that the bacterial community structure is sensitive to the lake wetland succession.Different hydrological regimes and soil characteristics such as NH_(4)^(+)-N,Fe^(2+),Mn^(2+),and sediment organic carbon(SOC)content may be important factors responsible for the differences in the sediment microbial characteristics of the different successional stages in the Caohai wetland.Additionally,it was found that the SR increased significantly from the P.lucens zone to the J.effusus zone,but BR had the opposite response.The shifts in the bacterial community structure along the successional gradient may be the main reason for the observed differences in sediment respiration. | Pinhua XIA Jian ZHANG Jinbo LIU Lifei YU | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3: | 1 |
