| 1 | Pathway-based analysis of genome-wide association study of circadian phenotypes显示文摘Sleepiness affects normal social life, which attracts more and more attention. Circadian phenotypes contribute to obvious individual differences in susceptibility to sleepiness. We aimed to identify candidate single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) which may cause circadian phenotypes, elucidate the potential mechanisms, and generate corresponding SNP-gene-pathways. A genome-wide association studies(GWAS) dataset of circadian phenotypes was utilized in the study. Then, the Identify Candidate Causal SNPs and Pathways analysis was employed to the GWAS dataset after quality control filters. Furthermore, genotype-phenotype association analysis was performed with HapMap database. Four SNPs in three different genes were determined to correlate with usual weekday bedtime, totally providing seven hypothetical mechanisms. Eleven SNPs in six genes were identified to correlate with usual weekday sleep duration, which provided six hypothetical pathways. Our results demonstrated that fifteen candidate SNPs in eight genes played vital roles in six hypothetical pathways implicated in usual weekday bedtime and six potential pathways involved in usual weekday sleep duration. | Didi Zhu Jiamin Yuan Rui Zhu Yao Wang Zhiyong Qian Jiangang Zou | 2018 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2018,32,5: | 1 |
| 2 | Application of StrucGP in medical immunology:site-specific N-glycoproteomic analysis of macrophages显示文摘The structure of N-glycans on specific proteins can regulate innate and adaptive immunity via sensing environmental signals.Meanwhile, the structural diversity of N-glycans poses analytical challenges that limit the exploration of specific glycosylation functions. In this work,we used THP-1-derived macrophages as examples to show the vast potential of a N-glycan structural interpretation tool StrucGP in N-glycoproteomic analysis. The intact glycopeptides of macrophages were enriched and analyzed using mass spectrometry(MS)-based glycoproteomic approaches, followed by the large-scale mapping of site-specific glycan structures via StrucGP.Results revealed that bisected GlcNAc,core fucosylated, and sialylated glycans(e.g.,HexNAc4Hex5Fuc1Neu5Ac1,N4H5F1S1)were increased in M1 and M2 macrophages, especially in the latter. The findings indicated that these structures may be closely related to macrophage polarization. In addition,a high level of glycosylated PD-L1 was observed in M1 macrophages, and the LacNAc moiety was detected at Asn-192 and Asn-200 of PD-L1,and Asn-200 contained Lewis epitopes. The precision structural interpretation of site-specific glycans and subsequent intervention of target glycoproteins and related glycosyltransferases are of great value for the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for different diseases. | Pengfei Li Zexuan Chen Shanshan You Yintai Xu Zhifang Hao Didi Liu Jiechen Shen Bojing Zhu Wei Dan Shisheng Sun | 2023 | Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,2: | 0 |
| 3 | Deactivation and regeneration of the commercial Cu/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst in low-temperature methanol steam reforming显示文摘Cu-based catalysts with excellent activity at low temperatures are widely used for methanol steam reforming(MSR)but suffer from deactivation problems. The present work aims to elucidate the deactivation and regeneration mechanisms of the commercial Cu/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst in low temperature MSR.By employing a series of(quasi)in situ characterization methods,it is found that the deactivation of the catalyst at a high weight hourly space velocity(WHSV)and a low reaction temperature is mainly due to the poisoning of Cu species associated with surface-oxygenated species with less Cu sintering, rather than carbon deposition, and strong metal-support interaction(SMSI).An in situ regeneration method was developed for the deactivated commercial Cu/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst via the simultaneous supply of O_(2).It is shown that the addition of O_(2)(≥1 vol%)can reverse the deactivation caused by surface-oxygenated poisoning due to the weak interaction between formed surface copper oxide and surface-oxygenated species, facilitating their desorption, but not deactivation caused by sintering, thereby partially restoring the catalytic activity. | Didi Li Zhen Wang Shiqing Jin Minghui Zhu | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,12: | 0 |
| 4 | Density functional theory calculations on 2H-MoS_(2) monolayer for HCHO degradation:Piezoelectric-photocatalytic synergy显示文摘Formaldehyde(HCHO)is a common indoor gaseous pollutant, and long-term exposure to it may cause serious damage to the human immune system.Photocatalytic degradation of HCHO is a promising technique. However, most photocatalysts have the disadvantage of rapid recombination of photo-generated electron-hole pairs. In this work, the recombination of photogenerated electron holes was proposed to inhibit through the piezoelectric effect.A two-dimensional(2D)piezoelectric material,2H-MoS_(2),was selected to investigate the catalytic performance for HCHO degradation by the synergy of the piezoelectric and photocatalysis properties. The results show that the piezoelectric effect can induce the polarization in 2H-MoS_(2) and inhibit the recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs, thus improving the photogeneration of hydroxyl radicals for HCHO degradation. Therefore, the piezoelectric-photo-catalysis synergistic effect based on density functional theory(DFT)calculation was proposed to elucidate the HCHO degradation performance. This work could provide important guidance for the development of effective catalysts for HCHO degradation and the application of 2D piezoelectric materials. | Yushan Zhu Weina Zhao Binghua Jing Junhui Zhou Bihai Cai Didi Li Zhimin Ao | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5: | 0 |
