| 1 | Operational reliability evaluation of restructured power systems with wind power penetration utilizing reliability network equivalent and time-sequential simulation approaches显示文摘In the last two decades,the wind power generation has been rapidly and widely developed in many regions and countries for tackling the problems of environmental pollution and sustainability of energy supply.However,the high share of intermittent and fluctuating wind power production has also increased the burden of system operator for securing power system reliability during the operational phase.Moreover,the power system restructuring and deregulation have not only introduced the competition for reducing cost but also changed the strategy of reliability evaluation and management of power systems.The conventional long-term reliability evaluation techniques have been well developed,which have been more focused on planning and expansion rather than operation of power systems.This paper proposes a new technique for evaluating operational reliabilities of restructured power systems with high wind power penetration.The proposed technique is based on the combination of the reliability network equivalent and time-sequential simulation approaches.The operational reliability network equivalents are developed to represent reliability models of wind farms,conventional generation and reserve provides,fast reserve providers and transmission network in restructured power systems.A contingency management schema for real time operation considering its coupling with the dayahead market is proposed.The time-sequential Monte Carlo simulation is used to model the chronological characteristics of corresponding reliability network equivalents.Asimplified method is also developed in the simulation procedures for improving the computational efficiency.The proposed technique can be used to evaluate customers’reliabilities considering high penetration of wind power during the power system operation in the deregulated environment. | Yi DING Lin CHENG Yonghong ZHANG Yusheng XUE | 2014 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2014,2,4: | 11 |

| 3 | Characteristics of Eddy Current Attenuation and Thickness Measurement of Metallic Plate显示文摘In eddy current testing, the law of attenuation of eddy current(EC) is of great concern. In conductive half space under the excitation of uniform magnetic field, the EC density decreases exponentially in the depth direction. However, in conductor with finite thickness tested by coil, the distribution of EC in the depth direction is more complicated. This paper studies the characteristics of EC attenuation in metallic plate of finite thickness. Simulation results show that there is an EC reflection at the bottom of plate, which changes the law of EC attenuation. A new concept, namely the equivalent attenuation coefficient, is proposed to quantify the speed of EC attenuation. The characteristics of EC attenuation are utilized to explain the nonmonotonic relation between coil voltage and plate thickness. Procedure of selecting frequency is discussed. | 4 | Influence of simulating deep-sea environmental factors on cathodic performance of seawater battery显示文摘A metal-dissolved oxygen seawater battery(SWB)uses metal and dissolved oxygen as the reactants,and it is ideal for use as a long-time low-power distributed power supply in deep sea,due to its advantages of open structure in service without electrolyte.However,several simulating deep-sea environmental factors,such as flow rate,dissolved oxygen concentration,and temperature of seawater may af fect the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)rate and the stability of electrochemically modified polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber brush(MPAN-CFB)cathode,which was studied by steady-state polarization and galvanostatic discharge methods.In addition,the scales formed on MPAN-CFB surface were characterized by SEM and XRD.Results show that the ORR rate increased quickly with the increase of the seawater flow rate up to 3 cm/s,and then gradually stabilized.Moreover,the ORR rate was largely af fected by dissolved oxygen concentration,and the concentration of>3 mg/L was favorable.Compared with surface layer temperature of 15℃,the low temperature of deep sea(4℃)has a negligible ef fect on ORR rate.When the working current is too high,it will lead to the formation of CaCO_3 scales(aragonite)of at the cathodic surface,resulting in the decrease of ORR rate,and consequently the damage to the long-time stability of MPAN-CFB. | LU Yonghong YANG Lulu ZHANG Yue ZHAO Qing SANG Lin DING Fei XU Haibo | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Premonitory phenomenon of El Nino event reflected in the observations of LOD and sea level显示文摘Data sets of the changes of the length of day, the sea surface temperature in the eastern Pacific and of the sea level in Hong Long from tide gauge observations are used to analyze and reveal the reflections in the observations of the length of day and the sea level changes concerned with the premonitory phenomenon of next El Nino event. The results from this study indicate that a new El Nino event has been brewing with the ending of the strong La Nina event that started in early summer of 1998. | 6 | Variation of spatio-temporal distribution of on-road vehicle emissions based on real-time RFID data显示文摘High-resolution vehicular emissions inventories are important for managing vehicular pollution and improving urban air quality. This study developed a vehicular emission inventory with high spatio-temporal resolution in the main urban area of Chongqing, based on realtime traffic data from 820 RFID detectors covering 454 roads, and the differences in spatiotemporal emission characteristics between inner and outer districts were analysed. The result showed that the daily vehicular emission intensities of CO, hydrocarbons, PM2.5, PM10,and NO_(x) were 30.24, 3.83, 0.18, 0.20, and 8.65 kg/km per day, respectively, in the study area during 2018. The pollutants emission intensities in inner district were higher than those in outer district. Light passenger cars(LPCs) were the main contributors of all-day CO emissions in the inner and outer districts, from which the contributors of NO_(x) emissions were different. Diesel and natural gas buses were major contributors of daytime NO_(x) emissions in inner districts, accounting for 40.40%, but buses and heavy duty trucks(HDTs) were major contributors in outer districts. At nighttime, due to the lifting of truck restrictions and suspension of buses, HDTs become the main NO_(x) contributor in both inner and outer districts,and its three NO_(x) emission peak hours were found, which are different to the peak hours of total NO_(x) emission by all vehicles. Unlike most other cities, bridges and connecting channels are always emission hotspots due to long-time traffic congestion. | 13 | The Disastrous 23 July 2009 Debris Flow in Xiangshui Gully, Kangding County, Southwestern China显示文摘On 23 July 2009, a catastrophic debris flows were triggered by heavy rainfall in Xiangshui gully, Kangding county, southwestern China. This debris flow originating shortly after a rainstorm with an intensity of 28 mm per hour transported a total volume of more than 480×103 m3 debris, depositing the poorly sorted sediment including boulders up to 2-3 m in diameter both onto an existing debris fans and into the river. Our primary objective for this study was to analyze the characteristics of the triggering rainfall and the debris supply conditions, and to estimate debris-flow volume, mean velocity, and discharge. A comparison with adjacent rain-gage records indicates that debris flows in this setting can be produced in response to as little as 17 mm/hour or 3.5 mm/10-minute of rainfall intensity with relatively lower amount of cumulative antecedent rainfall. The field measurement and the interpretation of the Worldview image indicate that abundant landslides occurred on steep slopes within areas underlain by highly weathered granite. Using empirical equations that combine flow depth and channel slope, the mean velocity and discharge of the debris flow were estimated to be 9.2 m/s and 2150 m3/s, respectively. | 18 | Construction of Live Attenuated Vaccine against Vib- rio alginolyticus and the Evaluation on Its Immuno- protection Effect显示文摘Vibrio alginolyticus,a gram-negative bacterium has been described to be one of the most common and economically important aquatic pathogens of fish and shellfish. Vaccine immunization is an effective approach preventing V. alginolyticus infection. Attenuated vaccine stimulates systemic immune response in the host,but few attenuated vaccine against V. alginolyticus is available. The type III secretion system( T3SS),an important pathogenic factor of V. alginolyticus,is used by bacterial pathogens to inject effector proteins into the cytoplasm of their host cells. The T3 SS forms a structure called needle complex with a multi-ring base that spans the bacteria and a needle-like extension that protrudes several nanometers from the bacterial surface. vscO locates at the ' needle' site of T3 SS,playing the role of escorting the molecular chaperone and effector proteins into host cells and further inducing the death of host cells. In this paper,an in-frame deletion mutant of vscO was constructed using overlap PCR and homologous recombination technology combining with chloramphenicol( Cm) and sucrose screening. The LD50 changes of ZJ03ΔvscO mutant strains compared with the strain ZJ03 were examined in grouper( Epinephelus coioides). The ZJ03ΔvscO mutant showed about 150 times decrease in virulence in E. coioides compared with wide type ZJ03. After vaccination with ZJ03ΔvscO in E. coioides through injection and immersion,the specific antibody titers were markedly higher than that in the saline control group( P < 0. 05). The titers of injection and immersion group on the forth week reached the maximums at 1∶ 2 048 and 1∶ 128,respectively. The relative percentage survival( RPS) of injection group was 84%,while that in immersion group was 68%.These results indicate that the ZJ03ΔvscO of V. alginolyticus has a high immunogenicity,and can be used as live attenuated vaccine. In addition,RPS may be affected by vaccination and infection methods. | 20 | Temporal-spatial dynamic characteristics of vehicle emissions on intercity roads in Guangdong Province based on vehicle identity detection data显示文摘Estimating intercity vehicle emissions precisely would benefit collaborative control in multiple cities.Considering the variability of emissions caused by vehicles,roads,and traffic,the 24-hour change characteristics of air pollutants(CO,HC,NO_(X),PM_(2.5))on the intercity road network of Guangdong Province by vehicle categories and road links were revealed based on vehicle identity detection data in real-life traffic for each hour in July 2018.The results showed that the spatial diversity of emissions caused by the unbalanced economywas obvious.The vehicle emissions in the Pearl River Delta region(PRD)with a higher economic level were approximately 1–2 times those in the non-Pearl RiverDelta region(non-PRD).Provincial roads with high loads became potential sources of high emissions.Therefore,emission control policies must emphasize the PRD and key roads by travel guidance to achieve greater reduction.Gasoline passenger cars with a large proportion of traffic dominated morning and evening peaks in the 24-hour period and were the dominant contributors to CO and HC emissions,contributing more than 50%in the daytime(7:00–23:00)and higher than 26%at night(0:00–6:00).Diesel trucks made up 10%of traffic,but were the dominant player at night,contributed 50%–90%to NO_(X) and PM_(2.5) emissions,with amarked 24-hour change rule of more than 80%at night(23:00–5:00)and less than 60%during daytime.Therefore,targeted control measures by time-section should be set up on collaborative control.These findings provide time-varying decision support for variable vehicle emission control on a large scale. | Hui Ding Yongming Zhao Shenhua Miao Tong Chen Yonghong Liu | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,8: | 0 |
