1Achieving ultrahigh electrocatalytic NH_(3) yield rate on Fe-doped Bi_(2)WO_(6) electrocatalyst显示文摘NH_(3),derived from electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR),is promising to satisfy the need of food production and serve as a carbon-free liquid energy carrier in the near future.Yet major challenges remain in enhancing NH_(3) yield rate and conversion efficiency of available electrocatalysts.This work achieved an ultrahigh electrocatalytic NH_(3)yield rate on the_(0.50)Fe-Bi_(2)W0_(6) catalyst by a facile Fe-doped strategy.Up to 289μg·h^(-1)·mg_(cat)^(-1) of NH_(3) formation rate was obtained at-0.75 V vs.RHE,which was reliably quantized by indophenol blue and ^(1)H NMR methods.The impressive result is an order of magnitude higher than that of the reported Fe-and Bi-based catalysts,even more superior than the result of single atom Ru catalyst.The key of the outstanding NRR behaviors on the_(0.50)Fe-Bi_(2)W0_(6) catalyst is the significant hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)suppression and the synergy between Bi and Fe,which can effectively modulate the electron distribution and accelerate the electron transport.This work endows a new insight to further explore the high-performance electrocatalysts toward NRR.Yongqin Liu Liang Huang Youxing Fang Xinyang Zhu Shaojun Dong 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:3
2Mechanism of the Effect of Bacillus coagulans on Production Performance of Laying Hens in Late Laying Period显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to investigate the mechanism of Bacillus coagulans preparation in improving production performance of laying hens in late period of laying.[Method]A total of 648 individuals of'Jingfen 1'laying hens(66 weeks of age)in late period of laying were randomly divided into four groups,six replicates each group,and each group had 27 individuals of laying hens.The laying hens in control group were fed with basal diet,and those in experimental groupsⅠ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ were fed with the basal diets added with 3.33×10^6,1×10^7,3.33×10^7 CFU/g B.coagulans,respectively.The pretrial lasted one week,and the formal test lasted eight weeks.[Result]Compared with the control group,the laying rate in group Ⅰ increased significantly,and the feed-gain ratio in experimental group Ⅱ decreased noticeably while the spleen index increased remarkably;the alkaline phosphatase activities and blood calcium content in experimental groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ increased significantly(P<0.05),while the triglyceride content decreased remarkably(P<0.05);the urea content in experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ decreased obviously(P<0.05).Adding B.coagulans significantly increased the specific activity of amylase,lipase and protease in various intestinal mucosa of small intestine(P<0.05);adding B.coagulans significantly increased the content of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)and estradiol(E2),and significantly increased the mRNA expression of follicle stimulating hormone receptor gene(FSHR).[Conclusion]B.coagulans preparation could significantly improve the production performance of laying hens in late period of laying;appropriately enhance the immune capacity of laying hens;improve the serum biochemical indicators;increase the activity of digestive enzymes in the small intestine;and promote the release of gonadal hormone and the mRNA expression of FSHR gene in the ovary.Xing Guanrun Lang Xinrui Wu Ji’an Lou Hongxing Liu Wenqiang Zhang Hengshuo Dong Xinyang Pan Xiaoliang Wang Youming 2019Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2019,11,5:2

5Critical evaluation of the glucose oxidase-like activity of gold nanoparticles stabilized by different polymers显示文摘Polymer stabilizers are widely used to synthesize gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)to prevent their aggregation and improve their stability.Although stabilizers are known to greatly influence both the structure and size of Au NPs,limited efforts explore their effects on the activity of Au NPs for biocatalysis.Herein,different polymers are used as stabilizers to synthesize Au NPs.For the glucose oxidase-like activity,we find that without the spatial barrier from stabilizers,naked Au NPs show significantly high catalytic activity as well as the worst stability.Among the polymers,polyacrylic acid-stabilized Au NPs exhibit the highest activity,whose Vmax(0.74μM·s^(−1))is higher than that of the natural glucose oxidase(0.37μM·s^(−1))due to the smallest particle size(<2 nm)and the weak spatial resistance of polyacrylic acid.These variable catalytic results derive from the comprehensive effects including size,steric hindrance,and electronic effect.However,further selectivity and activity tests have exposed shortcomings.They possess universal activities for aldose oxidation,whereas cannot retain activities in typical physiological environments.Our findings highlight the role of polymer stabilizers in imposing effects on the glucose oxidase-like activity of Au NPs and provide a basis for further Au NPs engineering and applications.Lili Xu Jinxing Chen Qian Ma Daiyong Chao Xinyang Zhu Ling Liu Jin Wang Youxing Fang Shaojun Dong 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0

7Dietary host-associated Bacillus subtilis supplementation improves intestinal microbiota,health and disease resistance in Chinese perch(Siniperca chuatsi)显示文摘The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potential of a host-associated Bacillus subtilis 1-C-7 as a probiotic for Chinese perch(Siniperca chuatsi).Four test diets were formulated to contain graded levels of B.subtilis 1-C-7 at 0(CY),0.85×10^(8)(Y1),0.95×10^(9)(Y2)and 0.91×10^(10)(Y3)CFU/kg diet.The test fish with initial weight 30.0±1.2 g were fed the 4 test diets with 3 replicates in an indoor water-flow aquaculture system with 12 net cages(40 fish/cage)for 10 wk.At the conclusion of the feeding trial,the probiotic effects of B.subtilis on Chinese perch were analyzed based on growth performance,serum biochemical indices,histologic morphology of liver and gut,gut microbiota and the resistance to Aero-monas hydrophila.The results showed that the percentage of weight gain had no significant change in the Y1 and Y2 groups(P>0.05)but decreased in the Y3 group compared to that in the CY group(P<0.05).The fish in the Y3 group displayed the highest activity of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)among these 4 groups(P<0.05).The fish in the CY group had the highest value of malondialdehyde in the liver(P<0.05)and showed severe nuclear migration and vacuolization of hepatocytes.The morphology indicated that all test fish had poor intestinal health.However,the fish in the Y1 group had a relatively normal intestinal histologic structure.The mid gut microbial diversity analysis showed that dietary B.subtilis supplementation increased the abundance of probiotics such as Tenericutes and Bacteroides,whereas it reduced the abundance of pernicious bacteria such as Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Thermophilia and Spirochaetes.The challenge test showed that dietary B.subtilis supplementation increased the resistance to A.hydrophila in Chinese perch.In conclusion,dietary supplementation of 0.85×10^(8)CFU/kg B.subtilis 1-C-7 could improve the intestinal microbiota,intestinal health and disease resistance in Chinese perch,but more or excessive supple-mentation could reduce growth performance and have negative effects on health.Zhehui Ji Chuanzhong Zhu Xinyang Zhu Sainan Ban Lijuan Yu Juan Tian Lixue Dong Hua Wen Xing Lu Ming Jiang 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,2:0
8Atomically dispersed hierarchically ordered porous Fe-N-C single-atom nanozymes for dyes degradation显示文摘The development of novel nanozymes for environmental contamination remediation is a worthwhile research direction.However,most of the reported nanozymes cannot degrade efficiently due to the limitation of the internal active sites not being able to come into direct contact with contaminants.Therefore,we reported Fe-N-C single-atom nanozymes(SAzymes)with atomically dispersed FeN4 active sites anchored on a three-dimensional hierarchically ordered microporous-mesoporous-macroporous nitrogen doped carbon matrix(3DOM Fe-N-C)for the degradation of a targeted environmental pollutant(rhodamine B(RhB)).The three-dimensional(3D)hierarchically ordered porous structure may accelerate mass transfer and improve the accessibility of active sites.This structure and high metal atom utilization endow Fe-N-C SAzyme with enhanced tri-enzyme-mimic activities,comprising oxidase-mimic,peroxidase-mimic,and catalase-mimic activities.Based on its excellent peroxidase-mimic activity,3DOM Fe-N-C can degrade RhB by hydroxyl radicals(·OH)generated in the presence of hydrogen peroxide.This study provides a new idea for designing porous Fe-N-C SAzymes for environmental contamination remediation.Shuangli Wu Weiwei Wu Xinyang Zhu Minghua Li Jianguo Zhao Shaojun Dong 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
9System Adaptive AC Filter for a Line Commutated Converter High Voltage DC Transmission System显示文摘This paper proposes a novel AC filter system for a line commutated converter high voltage DC(LCC-HVDC)transmission system.Through the coordination of the hybrid active power filters(APF)and the existing reactive compensation devices,the proposed filter system can not only enhance the suppression performance for LCC-HVDC harmonics,but also optimize the AC yard layout with reduced reactive power subbanks,reducing the cost of HVDC projects.The novel filter system adopts a serial passive resonance topology obtained by careful comparison of different APFs.A proper control scheme is then designed integrating the control strategy of the APF and impedance characteristics of the HVDC system,which is able to realize harmonic suppression and dynamic reactive power support simultaneously.In addition,a novel self-adaption digital low-pass filter algorithm is presented,which is used in the APF harmonic detecting step,enhancing both high precision and fast dynamic response.On the basis of a real HVDC project,the advantages of proposed filter system in harmonic suppression,reactive power regulation,and sub-banks reduction are simulated and demonstrated.Xinyang Liu Weimin Ma Hongjie Jia Chaoyu Dong 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,4:0
10Surface modification of hollow capsule by Dawson-type polyoxometalate as sulfur hosts for ultralong-life lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Reasonable construction of sulfur host with high conductivity,large sulfur storage gap,strong chemical adsorption,and fast oxidation–reduction kinetics of polysulfide is very significant for its practical use in lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).In this paper,the surface modification of MIL-88A(Fe)is carried out by Dawson-type polyoxometalate(POM),and a hollow capsule shell material with P_(2)W_(18),Fe_(3)O_(4),and C components is synthesized by the subsequent carbonization process.When applied as the sulfur host,the hollow capsule shell material can efficiently improve the conductivity of sulfur electrode and restrain the volumetric change of active sulfur while charging and discharging.On this foundation,electrochemical analysis and density functional theory(DFT)calculation show that the P_(2)W_(18)on the outer layer of the capsule shell have effective electrocatalytic activity and potent chemical bond on the lithium polysulfides(LiPSs),which is helpful to block the shuttle effect.Therefore,the as-assembled LSBs display the outstanding specific capacity and prominent cycle stability.Specifically,it delivers an excellent reversible capacity of 1063 mAh/g after 100 cycles of charge–discharge at a rate of 0.5 C,accounting for a preservation by 96%in comparison to that of the initial cycle.Moreover,even after 2000 cycles at 1 C,the reversible specific capacity of 585 mAh/g can still be maintained with an average decay rate of only 0.021%.Mingliang Wang Di Yin Yundong Cao Xinyang Dong Guanggang Gao Xun Hu Cheng Jin Linlin Fan Jian Yu Hong Liu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
11Bolt Design of Ceramic Matrix Composite and Superalloy Bolted Joint Based on Damage Failure Load显示文摘Ceramic matrix composite(CMC)and superalloy bolted joints are commonly used high temperature connection structures in aerospace and aeronautical fields.In this paper,a finite element model coupled with progressive damage analysis of 2D C/SiC composites and superalloy bolted joint was implemented to simulate the uniaxial tensile loading process by using the ABAQUS finite element software.The parametric effects of raised head bolt on stress distribution,tensile performance,and damage process were studied for the CMC⁃superalloy bolted joint structures.The results showed that the final failure load increased first to the maximum value,and then decreased with the rise of bolt diameter,bolt head diameter,and bolt head thickness,respectively.When the three parameters were 5.0 mm,9.5 mm,and 2.8 mm for the current studied bolt configuration,the joint structure gave the maximum load bearing capacity for the considered parameter ranges.It was also found that around 42%potential improvement in load bearing capacity could be achieved by very small adjustments in bolt parameters of the joints.Chao Lv Shuyuan Zhao Zhengyu Li Zeliang Pu Jianglong Dong Xinyang Sun Wenjiao Zhang 2021Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series)2021,28,2:0
