2Recent advances in energy storage mechanism of aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have recently attracted increasing research interest due to their unparalleled safety,fantastic cost competitiveness and promising capacity advantages compared with the commercial lithium ion batteries.However,the disputed energy storage mechanism has been a confusing issue restraining the development of ZIBs.Although a lot of efforts have been dedicated to the exploration in battery chemistry,a comprehensive review that focuses on summarizing the energy storage mechanisms of ZIBs is needed.Herein,the energy storage mechanisms of aqueous rechargeable ZIBs are systematically reviewed in detail and summarized as four types,which are traditional Zn^(2+)insertion chemistry,dual ions co-insertion,chemical conversion reaction and coordination reaction of Zn^(2+)with organic cathodes.Furthermore,the promising exploration directions and rational prospects are also proposed in this review.Duo Chen Mengjie Lu Dong Cai Hang Yang Wei Han 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:12
3Diagnostic value of 5 serum biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma with different epidemiological backgrounds:A large-scale,retrospective study显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a lethal global disease that requires an accurate diagnosis.We assessed the potential of 5 serum biomarkers(AFP,AFU,GGT-II,GPC3,and HGF)in the diagnosis of HCC.Methods:In this retrospective study,we measured the serum levels of each biomarker using ELISAs in 921 participants,including 298 patients with HCC,154 patients with chronic hepatitis(CH),122 patients with liver cirrhosis(LC),and 347 healthy controls from 3 hospitals.Patients negative for hepatitis B surface antigen and hepatitis C antibody(called'NBNC-HCC')and patients positive for the above indices(called'HBV-HCC and HCV-HCC')were enrolled.The selected diagnostic model was constructed using a training cohort(n=468),and a validation cohort(n=453)was used to validate our results.Receiver operating characteristic analysis was used to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy.Results:Theα-L-fucosidase(AFU)/α-fetoprotein(AFP)combination was best able to distinguish NBNC-HCC[area under the curve:0.986(95%confidence interval:0.958–0.997),sensitivity:92.6%,specificity:98.9%]from healthy controls in the test cohort.For screening populations at risk of developing HCC(CH and LC),the AFP/AFU combination improved the diagnostic specificity for early-stage HCC[area under the curve:0.776(0.712–0.831),sensitivity:52.5%,specificity:91.6%in the test group].In all-stage HBV-HCC and HCV-HCC,AFU was also the best candidate biomarker combined with AFP[area under the curve:0.835(0.784–0.877),sensitivity 69.1%,specificity:87.4%in the test group].All results were verified in the validation group.Conclusions:The AFP/AFU combination could be used to identify NBNC-HCC from healthy controls and hepatitis-related HCC from at-risk patients.Dongming Liu Yi Luo Lu Chen Liwei Chen Duo Zuo Yueguo Li Xiaofang Zhang Jing Wu Qing Xi Guangtao Li Lisha Qi Xiaofen Yue Xiehua Zhang Zhuoyu Sun Ning Zhang Tianqiang Song Wei Lu Hua Guo 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:10
4Solvent-free nanocasting toward universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous transition metal sulfide@N-doped carbon composites for electrochemical applications显示文摘Transition metal sulfides (TMSs) have a wide range of applications owing to their intriguing properties.Significant efforts have been devoted to nanostructuring TMSs to enhance their properties and performance,still there is a high need in general synthesis of TMS nanostructures.Herein,for the first time,a simple solvent free reactive nanocasting approach that integrates solid precursor loading,in-situ sulfuration and carbonization into a single heating step is developed for the universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous TMS@N-doped carbon composites (denoted as OM-TMS@NCs) with methionine (Met) and metal chlorides as the precursors and the mesoporous silica (SBA-15) as the hard template.A series of OM-TMS@NCs with a hexagonal mesostructure,ultra-high surface areas (430-754 m2·g-1),large pore volumes (0.85-1.32 cm3·g-1),and unique TMS stoichiometries,including MoS2,Fe7S8,Co9S8,NiS,Cu7S4 and ZnS,are obtained.Two distinct structure configurations,namely,highly dispersed ultrathin TMS nanosheets within NCs and TMS@NC co-nanowire arrays,can be obtained depending on different metals.The structure evolution of the OM-TMS@NCs over the solvent-free nanocasting process is studied in detail for a deep understanding of the synthesis.As demonstrations,these materials are promising for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction and lithium ion storage with high performances.Jiahui Zhu Zhi Chen Lin Jia Yuqi Lu Xiangru Wei Xiaoning Wang Winston Duo Wu Na Han Yanguang Li Zhangxiong Wu 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:5
5Ultrathin 2D Metal–Organic Framework Nanosheets In situ Interpenetrated by Functional CNTs for Hybrid Energy Storage Device显示文摘The controllable construction of two-dimensional(2D)metal–organic framework(MOF)nanosheets with favorable electrochemical performances is greatly challenging for energy storage.Here,we design an in situ induced growth strategy to construct the ultrathin carboxylated carbon nanotubes(C-CNTs)interpenetrated nickel MOF(Ni-MOF/C-CNTs)nanosheets.The deliberate thickness and specific surface area of novel 2D hybrid nanosheets can be effectively tuned via finely controlling C-CNTs involvement.Due to the unique microstructure,the integrated 2D hybrid nanosheets are endowed with plentiful electroactive sites to promote the electrochemical performances greatly.The prepared Ni-MOF/C-CNTs nanosheets exhibit superior specific capacity of 680 C g^−1 at 1 A g^−1 and good capacity retention.The assembled hybrid device demonstrated the maximum energy density of 44.4 Wh kg^−1 at a power density of 440 W kg^−1.Our novel strategy to construct ultrathin 2D MOF with unique properties can be extended to synthesize various MOF-based functional materials for diverse applications.Feitian Ran Xueqing Xu Duo Pan Yuyan Liu Yongping Bai Lu Shao 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,4:5

7Ammonia-treatment assisted fully encapsulation of Fe_2O_3 nanoparticles in mesoporous carbons as stable anodes for lithium ion batteries显示文摘To improve the initial coulombic efficiency and bulk density of ordered mesoporous carbons, active Fe2O3 nanoparticles were introduced into tubular mesopore channels of CMK-5 carbon, which possesses high specific surface area (>1700 m 2 g-1 ) and large pore volume (>1.8 cm 3 g-1 ). Fine Fe2O3 nanoparticles with sizes in the range of 5 7 nm were highly and homogenously encapsulated into CMK-5 matrix through ammonia-treatment and subsequent pyrolysis method. The Fe2O3 loading was carefully tailored and designed to warrant a high Fe2O3 content and adequate buffer space for improving the electrochemical performance. In particular, such Fe2O3 and mesoporous carbon composite with 47 wt% loading exhibits a considerably stable cycle performance (683 mAh g-1 after 100 cycles, 99% capacity retention against that of the second cycle) as well as good rate capability. 9The Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins显示文摘Ikaros represents a zinc-finger protein family important for lymphocyte development and certain other physiological processes. The number of family members is large, with alternative splicing producing various additional isoforms from each of the five homologous genes in the family. The functional forms of Ikaros proteins could be even more diverse due to protein–protein interactions readily established between family members. Emerging evidence suggests that targeting Ikaros proteins is feasible and effective in therapeutic applications, although the exact roles of Ikaros proteins remain elusive within the intricate regulatory networks in which they are involved. 10E17110 promotes reverse cholesterol transport with liver X receptor β agonist activity in vitro显示文摘Liver X receptor(LXR) plays an important role in reverse cholesterol transport(RCT), and activation of LXR could reduce atherosclerosis. In the present study we used a cell-based screening method to identify new potential LXRβ agonists. A novel benzofuran-2-carboxylate derivative was identified with LXRβ agonist activity: E17110 showed a significant activation effect on LXRβ with an EC50 value of 0.72 μmol/L. E17110 also increased the expression of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) and G1(ABCG1) in RAW264.7 macrophages. Moreover, E17110 significantly reduced cellular lipid accumulation and promoted cholesterol efflux in RAW264.7 macrophages. Interestingly, we found that the key amino acids in the LXRβ ligand-binding domain had distinct interactions with E17110 as compared to TO901317. 11Controllable synthesis of high loading LiFePO_4/C nanocomposites using bimodal mesoporous carbon as support for high power Li-ion battery cathodes显示文摘Mesoporous LiFePO4/C composites containing 80 wt% of highly dispersed LiFePO4 nanoparticles(4-6 nm) were fabricated using bimodal mesoporous carbon(BMC) as continuous conductive networks. The unique pore structure of BMC not only promises good particle connectivity for LiFePO4, but also acts as a rigid nano-confinement support that controls the particle size. Furthermore, the capacities were investigated respectively based on the weight of LiFePO4 and the whole composite. When calculated based on the weight of the whole composite, it is 120 mAh·g-1at 0.1 C of the high loading electrode and 42 mAh·g-1at 10 C of the low loading electrode. The electrochemical performance shows that high LiFePO4 loading benefits large tap density and contributes to the energy storage at low rates, while the electrode with low content of LiFePO4 displays superior high rate performance, which can mainly be due to the small particle size, good dispersion and high utilization of the active material, thus leading to a fast ion and electron diffusion.Fei Cheng Duo Li Anhui Lu Wencui Li 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,6:2

14Presence of antibodies against low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4 and impairment of neuromuscular junction in a Chinese cohort of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis显示文摘Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a heterogeneous disorder characterized by a loss of upper and lower motor neurons with neither clear pathogenesis nor effective treatment. Thus, potential biomarkers are needed to classify the disease and find new drug targets. 15Fast algorithm for simulation of normal and oblique penetration into limestone targets显示文摘A fast algorithm is proposed to predict penetration trajectory in simulation of normal and oblique penetration of a rigid steel projectile into a limestone target.The algorithm is designed based on the idea of isolation between the projectile and the target. Corresponding factors of influence are considered, including analytical load model,cratering effect, free surface effect, and separation-reattachment phenomenon. Besides, a method of cavity ring is used to study the process of cavity expansion. Further, description of the projectile's three-dimensional gesture is presented. As a result, the algorithm is coded for fast calculation, named PENE3D. A series of cases with selected normal and oblique penetrations are simulated by the algorithm. 16Correlates of HIV infection among transgender women in two Chinese cities显示文摘Background:In an era when HIV transmission has been on the rise among men who have sex with men(MSM),transgender women may play a considerable role in China’s current HIV epidemic as a potential“bridge”of HIV transmission between homosexual and heterosexual populations.We sought to understand the risk behaviours and factors associated with HIV infection among transgender women in two cities in China.Methods:From January to December 2016,we recruited transgender women with the help of community-based organizations(CBOs)through a wide range of methods,including snowball sampling.After recruitment,we asked participants to fill out a structured questionnaire including questions about socio-demographics,sexual behaviours,condom use,substance use and uptake of health care services.HIV infection status was determined by using two different rapid testing reagents.Results:Among 498 subjects enrolled in this study,233 were from Shanghai and 265 were from Tianjin.The median age was 30 years(range:18-68;IQR:24-33).Of them,337(67.7%)preferred feminine dress,13(2.6%)had undergone transsexual operation and 68(13.7%)had used hormones for transition purposes.Nearly half(45.6%)reported having regular partners,and 351(70.5%)had casual partners.Regarding condom use,81.5%reported not always using condoms with stable partners,and 70.9%reported not using condoms with casual partners.Twentyfive(5.0%)had a history of buying sex and fifty-one(10.2%)had a history of selling sex in the past three months.A total of 200(40.2%)participants had used at least one kind of controlled substance in the past six months.The most commonly used substances were amyl nitrates(rush popper)(99.5%)and 5-MeO-DiPT(20.0%).Among rush popper users,170(85.4%)reported always having sex while on the drug,and 177(88.9%)reported increased sexual pleasure after using the drug.The HIV infection risk factors identified in our study were being located in Shanghai(aOR=9.35,95%CI=3.89-22.49),selling sex in the past three months(aOR=3.44,95%CI=1.31-9.01),and substance use in the past six months(aOR=5.71,95%CI=2.63-12.41).Conclusions:Transgender women bear a high HIV burden in the two Chinese cities.Those involved in commercial sex tended to have inconsistent condom use,leading to high risk of HIV infection.Substance use was an independent risk factor of HIV infection by increasing sexual activities and unprotected sex,which indicated an aggravated and complex situation with possible interacting syndemic factors that could cumulatively facilitate sexual risk behaviours and HIV infection in transgender women.There is an urgent need for innovative and appropriate HIV prevention programmes targeting this unique population.Efforts should be made to provide them with tailored services including persuasive communication on consistent condom use,substance use counselling and related referral services,all with the goal of reducing HIV epidemic among transgender women.Duo Shan Mao-He Yu Jie Yang Ming-Hua Zhuang Zhen Ning Hui Liu Lu Liu Meng-Jie Han Da-Peng Zhang 2018Infectious Diseases of Poverty2018,7,1:1

19Identification of hub genes and their novel diagnostic and prognostic significance in pancreatic adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective:The main reasons for the poor prognoses of pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PA)patients are rapid early-stage progression,advanced stage metastasis,and chemotherapy resistance.Identification of novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of PA is therefore urgently needed.Methods:Three mRNA microarray datasets were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database to select differentially expressed genes(DEGs).Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analyses for hub genes were performed using DAVID.Correlations between expression levels of hub genes and cancer-infiltrating immune cells were investigated by TIMER.Cox proportional hazard regression analyses were also performed.Serum hub genes were screened using the HPA platform and verified for diagnostic value using ELISAs.Results:We identified 59 hub genes among 752 DEGs.GO analysis indicated that these 59 hub genes were mainly involved in the defense response to viruses and the type I interferon signaling pathway.We also discovered that RSAD2 and SMC4 were associated with immune cell infiltration in the PA microenvironment.Additionally,DLGAP5 mRNA might be used as an independent risk factor for the prognoses of PA patients.Furthermore,the protein encoded by ISG15,which exists in peripheral blood,was validated as a potential diagnostic biomarker that distinguished PA patients from healthy controls(area under the curve:0.902,95%confidence interval:0.819–0.961).Conclusions:Our study suggested that RSAD2 and SMC4 were associated with immune cell infiltration in the PA microenvironment,while DLGAP5 mRNA expression might be an independent risk factor for the survival prognoses of PA patients.Moreover,ELISAs indicated that serum ISG15 could be a potential novel diagnostic biomarker for PA.Duo Zuo Yongzi Chen Xinwei Zhang Zhuozhi Wang Wenna Jiang Fan Tang Runfen Cheng Yi Sun Lu Sun Li Ren Rui Liu 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7:1
