5Recent advances on the membrane processes for CO_2 separation显示文摘Membrane separation technology has popularized rapidly and attracts much interest in gas industry as a promising sort of newly chemical separation unit operation. In this paper, recent advances on membrane processes for CO_2 separation are reviewed. The researches indicate that the optimization of operating process designs could improve the separation performance, reduce the energy consumption and decrease the cost of membrane separation systems. With the improvement of membrane materials recently,membrane processes are beginning to be competitive enough for CO_2 separation, especially for postcombustion CO_2 capture, biogas upgrading and natural gas carbon dioxide removal, compared with the traditional separation methods. We summarize the needs and most promising research directions for membrane processes for CO_2 separation in current and future membrane applications. As the time goes by, novel membrane materials developed according to the requirement proposed by process optimization with increased selectivity and/or permeance will accelerate the industrialization of membrane process in the near future. Based on the data collected in a pilot scale test, more effort could be made on the optimization of membrane separation processes. 7Influence of welding parameters on interface evolution and mechanical properties of FSW Al/Ti lap joints显示文摘Friction stir welding(FSW)was performed to produce Al/Ti lap joints under various welding conditions.More heat was generated when rotational rate increased or traversing rate decreased.Two types of Al/Ti interfaces–mixed interface and diffusive interface–were formed under different welding conditions.The diffusive interface was formed with low heat input,and the mixed interface was formed more heat.The grains at the mixed interface were larger than those at the diffusive interface because of the higher heat input.Moreover,the microstructure of the mixed interface had a lower texture intensity compared with that of the diffusive interface,which was attributed to the enhanced continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX).TiAl3 was formed at the diffusive interface.When the interface varied to the mixed interface as heat input increased,TiAl was fomed within the Al/Ti mixture following the formation of TiAl3.In addition,TiAl3 precipitates were observed in the diffusion layer.The hardness value of the mixed interface was higher than 350 HV,due to the larger amount of intermetallic compounds(IMCs).The lap shear strength reached a maximum value of 147 MPa with medium heat input and an interface that exits in a critical state between diffusive and mixed interfaces.All the specimens fractured at the interface,which was attributed to the presence of IMCs.Mingrun Yu Hongyun Zhao Zhihua Jiang Zili Zhang Fei Xu Li Zhou Xiaoguo Song 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8:2
8Boosting of reversible capacity delivered at a low voltage below 0.5 V in mildly expanded graphitized needle coke anode for a high-energy lithium ion battery显示文摘The rate performance and cycle stability of graphitized needle coke(GNC)as anode are still limited by the sluggish kinetics and volume expansion during the Li ions intercalation and de-intercalation process.Especially,the output of energy density for lithium ion batteries(LIBs)is directly affected by the delithiation capacity below 0.5 V.Here,the mildly expanded graphitized needle coke(MEGNC)with the enlarged interlayer spacing from 0.346 to 0.352 nm is obtained by the two-step mild oxidation intercalation modification.The voltage plateau of MEGNC anode below 0.5 V is obviously broadened as compared to the initial GNC anode,contributing to the enhancement of Li storage below the low voltage plateau.Moreover,the coin full cell and pouch full cell configured with MEGNC anode exhibit much enhanced Li storage ability,energy density and better cycling stability than those full cells configured with GNC and commercial graphite anodes,demonstrating the practical application value of MEGNC.The superior anode behaviors of MEGNC including the increased effective capacity at low voltage and superior cyclic stability are mainly benefited from the enlarged interlayer spacing,which not only accelerates the Li ions diffusion rate,but also effectively alleviates the volume expansion and fragmentation during the Li ions intercalation process.In addition,the above result is further confirmed by the density functional theory simulation.This work provides an effective modification strategy for the NC-based graphite to enhance the delithiation capacity at a low voltage plateau,dedicated to improving the energy density and durability of LIBs.Dong Sun Lu Zhao Zhihua Xiao Kai Zhao Rundan Lin Hongmei Song Xilu Zhang Xinlong Ma Chong Peng Xiaoqiao Huang Xingxun Li Jinsen Gao Chunming Xu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11:2

14Evaluation of Climatic Comfort of Living Environment based on Age Differentials in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area显示文摘Somatosensory comfort is mainly determined by the Temperature and Humidity Index(THI)with Wind Efficiency Index(WEI),but this conventional usage of these indicators does not capture the age-related differentials.Here we resolved this gap with a modification of the climatic comfort definition and method in a national standard,denoted as the Relative Climate Sensitive Index(RCSI),which incorporated the age-related vulnerability scores determined through online questionnaires with a scoring method,for each of the age-related and adaptive climatic comfort responses to changes in residence with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region as an example.First,the result showed that the human comfort of living environment decreased with age in the BTH region,implicating age obviously impacted comfort,and weak adaptability made the elderly the relatively most high-risk group-their suitable region was less than a quarter of the whole study region.Second the adverse effects of persistent hot weather on comfort,indicating global warming as the leading driver of dwindling comfort over recent years.As the warming was more significant in the southeastern part,all these forces combined had there a hotspot,appealing for extra attention.Last this improved evaluation accorded with actual situation to captured high-risk groups with their distributions.Siyu Liu Buju Long Zhihua Pan Fei Lun Yu Song Weiying Yuan Na Huang Ziyuan Zhang Shangqian Ma 2020Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1:1
15Nanopolyphenol rejuvenates microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming显示文摘Microglial surveillance plays an essential role in clearing misfolded proteins such as amyloid-beta,tau,andα-synuclein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases.However,due to the complex structure and ambiguous pathogenic species of the misfolded proteins,a universal approach to remove the misfolded proteins remains unavailable.Here,we found that a polyphenol,α-mangostin,reprogrammed metabolism in the disease-associated microglia through shifting glycolysis to oxidative phosphorylation,which holistically rejuvenated microglial surveillance capacity to enhance microglial phagocytosis and autophagy-mediated degradation of multiple misfolded proteins.Nanoformulation ofα-mangostin efficiently deliveredα-mangostin to microglia,relieved the reactive status and rejuvenated the misfolded-proteins clearance capacity of microglia,which thus impressively relieved the neuropathological changes in both Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease model mice.These findings provide direct evidences for the concept of rejuvenating microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming,and demonstrate nanoformulatedα-mangostin as a potential and universal therapy against neurodegenerative diseases.Dayuan Wang Xiao Gu Xinyi Ma Jun Chen Qizhi Zhang Zhihua Yu Juan Li Meng Hu Xiaofang Tan Yuyun Tang Jianrong Xu Minjun Xu Qingxiang Song Huahua Song Gan Jiang Zaiming Tang Xiaoling Gao Hongzhuan Chen 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:1
