4An Organic–Inorganic Hybrid Material Based on Benzo[ghi]perylenetri-imide and Cyclic Titanium-Oxo Cluster for Efficient Perovskite and Organic Solar Cells显示文摘Perovskite and organic solar cells usually require electron-transport interlayers to efficiently transport electrons from the photoactive layer to the metal electrode.In general,pure organic or inorganic materials are applied into the interlayers,but organic–inorganic hybrid materials have been rarely reported for this application.In this work,we report using the first titanium-oxo cluster-based organic–inorganic hybrid as the interlayer material by introducing largeπ-conjugated benzo[ghi]perylenetriimides as an organic part via a simple ligand-exchange reaction.This new hybrid material showed excellent solubility,well-aligned energy levels,and excellent electron mobilities,enabling its great potential application as an interlayer in solar cells such as perovskite and organic solar cells,providing high power conversion efficiencies of>20%and 16%,respectively.Therefore,we claim that our present work introduces a new class of cluster-based organic–inorganic hybrid interlayer materials that exhibit promising application in organic electronics.Zhou Zhang Faming Han Jie Fang Chaowei Zhao Shuai Li Yonggang Wu Yuefeng Zhang Shengyong You Binghui Wu Weiwei Li 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,3:1

6A 3D-printed molybdenum-containing scaffold exerts dual pro-osteogenic and anti-osteoclastogenic effects to facilitate alveolar bone repair显示文摘The positive regulation of bone-forming osteoblast activity and the negative feedback regulation of osteoclastic activity are equally important in strategies to achieve successful alveolar bone regeneration. Here, a molybdenum(Mo)-containing bioactive glass ceramic scaffold with solid-strut-packed structures(Mo-scaffold) was printed, and its ability to regulate pro-osteogenic and antiosteoclastogenic cellular responses was evaluated in vitro and in vivo. We found that extracts derived from Mo-scaffold(Moextracts) strongly stimulated osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and inhibited differentiation of osteoclast progenitors. The identified comodulatory effect was further demonstrated to arise from Mo ions in the Mo-extract,wherein Mo ions suppressed osteoclastic differentiation by scavenging reactive oxygen species(ROS) and inhibiting mitochondrial biogenesis in osteoclasts. Consistent with the in vitro findings, the Mo-scaffold was found to significantly promote osteoblastmediated bone formation and inhibit osteoclast-mediated bone resorption throughout the bone healing process, leading to enhanced bone regeneration. In combination with our previous finding that Mo ions participate in material-mediated immunomodulation, this study offers the new insight that Mo ions facilitate bone repair by comodulating the balance between bone formation and resorption. 9Identifying quasi-2D and 1D electrides in yttrium and scandium chlorides via geometrical identification显示文摘Developing and understanding electron-rich electrides offers a promising opportunity for a variety of electronic and catalytic applications.Using a geometrical identification strategy,here we identify a new class of electride material,yttrium/scandium chlorides Y(Sc)_(x)Cl_(y)(yx<2).Anionic electrons are found in the metal octahedral framework topology.The diverse electronic dimensionality of these electrides is quantified explicitly by quasi-two-dimensional(2D)electrides for[YCl]^(+)∙e−and[ScCl]^(+∙)e−and one-dimensional(1D)electrides for[Y_(2)Cl_(3)]^(+)∙e−,[Sc_(7)Cl_(10)]^(+)∙e−,and[Sc5Cl8]2+∙2e−with divalent metal elements(Sc^(2+):3d^(1) and Y^(2+):4d^(1)).The localized anionic electrons were confined within the inner-layer spaces,rather than inter-layer spaces that are observed in A_(2)B-type 2D electrides,e.g.Ca_(2)N.Moreover,when hydrogen atoms are introduced into the host structures to form YClH and Y2Cl3H,the generated phases transform to conventional ionic compounds but exhibited a surprising reduction of work function,arising from the increased Fermi level energy,contrary to the conventional electrides reported so far.Y_(2C)l_(3) was experimentally confirmed to be a semiconductor with a band gap of 1.14 eV.These results may help to promote the rational design and discovery of new electride materials for further technological applications.Biao Wan Yangfan Lu Zewen Xiao Yoshinori Muraba Junghwan Kim Dajian Huang Lailei Wu Huiyang Gou Jingwu Zhang Faming Gao Ho-kwang Mao Hideo Hosono 2018npj Computational Materials2018,,1:0
10Environmental selection and evolutionary process jointly shape genomic and functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes显示文摘Mangrove reforestation with introduced species has been an important strategy to restore mangrove ecosystem functioning.However,how such activities affect microbially driven methane(CH4),nitrogen(N),and sulfur(S)cycling of rhizosphere microbiomes remains unclear.To understand the effect of environmental selection and the evolutionary process on microbially driven biogeochemical cycles in native and introduced mangrove rhizospheres,we analyzed key genomic and functional profiles of rhizosphere microbiomes from native and introduced mangrove species by metagenome sequencing technologies.Compared with the native mangrove(Kandelia obovata,KO),the introduced mangrove(Sonneratia apetala,SA)rhizosphere microbiome had significantly(p<0.05)higher average genome size(AGS)(5.8 vs.5.5 Mb),average 16S ribosomal RNA gene copy number(3.5 vs.3.1),relative abundances of mobile genetic elements,and functional diversity in terms of the Shannon index(7.88 vs.7.84)but lower functional potentials involved in CH4 cycling(e.g.,mcrABCDG and pmoABC),N2 fixation(nifHDK),and inorganic S cycling(dsrAB,dsrC,dsrMKJOP,soxB,sqr,and fccAB).Similar results were also observed from the recovered Proteobacterial metagenome-assembled genomes with a higher AGS and distinct functions in the introduced mangrove rhizosphere.Additionally,salinity and ammonium were identified as the main environmental drivers of functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes through deterministic processes.This study advances our understanding of microbially mediated biogeochemical cycling of CH_(4),N,and S in the mangrove rhizosphere and provides novel insights into the influence of environmental selection and evolutionary processes on ecosystem functions,which has important implications for future mangrove reforestation.Xiaoli Yu Qichao Tu Jihua Liu Yisheng Peng Cheng Wang Fanshu Xiao Yingli Lian Xueqin Yang Ruiwen Hu Huang Yu Lu Qian Daoming Wu Ziying He Longfei Shu Qiang He Yun Tian Faming Wang Shanquan Wang Bo Wu Zhijian Huang Jianguo He Qingyun Yan Zhili He 2023mLife2023,2,3:0
11An Integrated Observer Framework Based Mechanical Parameters Identification for Adaptive Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor显示文摘An integrated observer framework based mechanical parameters identification approach for adaptive control of permanent magnet synchronous motors is proposed in this paper.Firstly,an integrated observer framework is established for mechanical parameters’estimation,which consists of an extended sliding mode observer(ESMO)and a Luenberger observer.Aiming at minimizing the influence of parameters coupling,the viscous friction and the moment of inertia are obtained by ESMO and the load torque is identified by Luenberger observer separately.After obtaining estimates of the mechanical parameters,the optimal proportional integral(PI)parameters of the speed-loop are determined according to third-order best design method.As a result,the controller can adjust the PI parameters in real time according to the parameter changes to realize the adaptive control of the system.Meanwhile,the disturbance is compensated according to the estimates.Finally,the experiments were carried out on simulation platform,and the experimental results validated the reliability of parameter identification and the efficiency of the adaptive control strategy presented in this paper.Zhong Liao Zhaohua Liu Lei Chen Mingyang Lyu Dian Wang Faming Wu Zhengheng Wang Hualiang Wei 2022Complex System Modeling and Simulation2022,2,4:0
12Simultaneous structure and luminescence property control of barium carbonate nanocrystals through small amount of lanthanide doping显示文摘Rare earth doping has been widely applied in many functional nanomaterials with desirable properties and functions,which would have a significant effect on the growth process of the materials.However,the controlling strategy is limited into high concentration of lanthanide doping,which produces concentration quenching of the lanthanide ion luminescence with an increase in the Ln^(3+)concentration,resulting in lowering the fluorescence quantum yield of lanthanide ion.Herein,for the first time,we demonstrate simultaneous control of the structures and luminescence properties of BaCO_3nanocrystals via a small amount of Tb^(3+)doping strategy.In fact,Tb^(3+)would partially occupy Ba^(2+)sites,resulting in the changes to the structures of the BaCO_3nanocrystals,which is primarily determined by charge modulation,including the contributions from the surfaces of crystal nuclei and building blocks.These structurally modified nanocrystals exhibit tunable luminescence properties,thus emerging as potential candidates for photonic devices such as light-emitting diodes and color displays.Jianmin Gu Zhenpan Bian Baipeng Yin Cuihong Jin Xin Liu Yahui Gao Jingxiao Wu Shoufeng Tang Faming Gao Yong Sheng Zhao 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,18:0
