1Cloud model-based analysis of regional sustainable water resource utilization schemes显示文摘Given the adverse effects of current water shortages,low utilization and imbalance between the supply and demand,and other status quo problems relating to social economic development,the construction industry and agriculture,a cloud model was applied to a water resource system using five sustainable water resource utilization schemes for Kiamusze,Heilongjiang Province,as an example.This research changes the qualitative description of the concept language into a quantitative analysis of an evaluation indicator.A cloud model-based analytical method for regional sustainable water resource utilization schemes was proposed,and the sustainable grades of the water resources were calculated.The research results showed that,in addition to the natural continuation of such schemes,the development trends of four new schemes achieved the sustainable utilization of water resources,and thus,the sustainable water resource utilization was optimized.However,when the open-source,throttle,comprehensive and coordination schemes were subjected to the optimum applicability analysis,based on the limiting factors in different periods,resource availability and long-term development,decision-making regarding the best solution in different periods better ensures sustainable development in Kiamusze.The research results provide a significant theoretical basis for the formulation of scientific and reasonable sustainable water resource utilization strategies in Kiamusze.Fu Qiang Meng Fanxiang Li Tianxiao Liu Dong Gong Fanli Amgad Osman Li Yutong 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5:4

16Optimized production of transgenic buffalo embryos and offspring by cytoplasmic zygote injection显示文摘Background:Cytoplasmic injection of exogenous DNA into zygotes is a promising technique to generate transgenic livestock.However,it is still relatively inefficient and has not yet been demonstrated to work in buffalo.We sought to improve two key technical parameters of the procedure,namely i) how much linear DNA to inject and ii) when to inject it.For this,we introduced a constitutively expressed enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP) plasmid into buffalo zygotes.Results:First,we found that the proportion of EGFP-expressing blastocysts derived from zygotes injected with 20 or 50 ng/μL DNA was significantly higher than from those injected with 5 μg/mL However,50 ng/μL exogenous DNA compromised blastocyst development compared to non-injected IVF controls.Therefore the highest net yield of EGFP-positive blastocysts was achieved at 20 ng/μL DNA.Second,zygotes injected early(7-8 h post-insemination[hpi]) developed better than those injected at mid(12-13 hpi) or late(18-19 hpi) time points.Blastocysts derived from early injections were also more frequently EGFP-positive.As a consequence,the net yield of EGFP-expressing blastocysts was more than doubled using early vs late injections(16.4%vs 7.7%).With respect to blastocyst quality,we found no significant difference in cell numbers of EGFP-positive blastocysts vs non-injected blastocysts.Following embryo transfer of six EGFP-positive blastocysts into four recipient animals,two viable buffalo calves were born.Biopsied ear tissues from both buffalo calves were analyzed for transgene presence and expression by Southern blot,PCR and confocal laser scanning microscopy,respectively.This confirmed that both calves were transgenic.Conclusions:Our cytoplasmic injection protocol improved generation of transgenic embryos and resulted in the first transgenic buffalo calves produced by this method.Fanli Meng Hui Li Xiaoli Wang Guangsheng Qin Bj?rn Oback Deshun Shi 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4:0
17Ultrathin 2D Covalent Organic Framework Film Fabricated via Langmuir-Blodgett Method with a“Two-in-One”Type Monomer显示文摘In recent years, covalent organic frameworks(COFs) are evolving as a novel kind of porous materials for catalysis and molecular separation, gas adsorption, etc. Various functional building blocks have been explored to tune the pore channels, including the pore size and structures. In this article, a new terphenyl(TP) based COF(TP-COF) was developed via a “two-in-one” strategy by using a symmetric A2B2monomer, i.e., 4,4''-diamino-2',5'-diformyl-1,1':4',1''-terphenyl(DADFTP). The pore size of TP-COF was only 0.99 nm by shortening the arm length of the DADFTP monomer. Freestanding, continuous and ultrathin COF films could be facilely prepared at the air-liquid interface through the modified Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) method. 18Hierarchically-structured metal oxide-based gas sensors for volatile organic compound detection显示文摘Metal oxide-based gas sensors have been widely used in portable systems for conventional gas or volatile organic compound(VOC)vapor detection because of their fascinating advantages such as low cost,easy production,compact size and convenient measuring integration.For improving gas sensing properties including sensitivity,selectivity and response speed,many novel nanostructured metal oxides have been investigated as the sensitive materials.Among them,hierarchical structures are promising because of their sufficient inter-spaces which enable gases diffusion through the inner position of the entire sensing film.Here,we provide a summary focusing on the synthesis,gas sensing properties to VOCs and sensing mechanisms of the meso-macroporous SnO_2 hierarchical structures,and a flower-like hierarchical ZnO structure consisting of porous single-crystalline nanosheets.Our review would be able to provide an understanding on the evolution and the challenges of hierarchically structured metal oxide-based gas sensors,and create some new opportunities for the development of gas-sensing techniques.MENG FanLi JIN Zhen LI MinQiang LIU JinHuai 2016Science Foundation in China2016,24,1:0

20Palmitoleic acid on top of HFD ameliorates insulin resistance independent of diacylglycerols and alters gut microbiota in C57BL/6J mice显示文摘With the prevalence of obesity and obesity-related metabolic syndrome,such as insulin resistance in recent years,it is urgent to explore effective interventions to prevent the progression of obesity-related metabolic syndrome.Palmitoleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that is available from dietary sources,mainly derived from marine products.P almitoleic acid plays a positive role in maintaining glucose homeostasis and reducing inflammation.However,it is still unknow the mechanism of palmitoleic acid in ameliorating insulin resistance.Here,we investigated the effects of palmitoleic acid on chow diet(CD)-fed and high-fat diet(HFD)-fed mice,which were fed CD or HFD for 12 weeks before administration.We administrated mice with BSA(control),oleic acid,or palmitoleic acid for 6 weeks on top of CD or HFD feeding.We found that palmitoleic acid only improved glucose homeostasis in HFD-fed obese mice by increasing glucose clearance and reducing HOMA-IR.Further study explored that palmitoleic acid changed the composition of gut microbiota by decreasing Firmicutes population and increasing Bacteroidetes population.In colon,palmitoleic acid increased intestinal tight junction integrity and reduced inflammation.Moreover,palmitoleic acid decreased macrophage infiltration in liver and adipose tissue and increase glucose uptake in adipose tissue.Diacylglycerol(DAG)in tissue(for example,liver)is found to positively correlated with HOMA-IR.HFD enhanced the levels of DAGs in liver but not in adipose tissue in this study.Palmitoleic acid did not reverse the high DAG levels induced by HFD in liver.Therefore,in HFD-fed mice,palmitoleic acid reduced insulin resistance by an independent-manner of DAGs.It might be associated with the beneficial effects of palmitoleic acid on altering the gut microbiota composition,improving of intestinal barrier function,and downregulating the inflammation in colon,liver,and adipose tissue.Qijian Liang Yan Zheng Fanli Meng Xiaofan Jiang Qingcai Zhen Zhongting Lu Shixiu Zhang Lei Du Hao Wu Xin Guo 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:0
