| 5 | Effects of boundary conditions on vibrating mode of acoustic logging dipole transducer显示文摘Acoustic transducer is an important part of acoustic well logging tool. In this paper,ANSYS software package is used to design acoustic dipole transducer and simulate vibrating mode of the dipole transducer in different mechanical boundary conditions. The results show that boundary conditions influence the number of vibrating mode in the same frequency band and the frequency value of the same vibrating mode. Several acoustic dipole transducers are designed according to the results of numerical simulation and laboratory measurements. The basic frequency of vibrating mode of experi-ment has good agreement with that of simulation. | 7 | A novel derivative of valepotriate inhibits the PI3K/AKT pathway and causes Noxa-dependent apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘Natural compound valepotriate exhibits inhibitory activity against a number of cancers,but the effect of valepotdriate against pancreatic cancer is unclear,and the structure-activity relationship of valepotriate has not been characterized:In this study,we performed a structure-based similarity search and found 16 hit compounds.Among the 16 hits,(1S,6S,7R)-6-(acetyloxy)-1-[(3-methylbutanoyl)oxy]-4a,5,6,7a-tetrahydro-1H-spiro[cyclopenta[c]pyran-7,2'-oxiran]-4-ylmethyl 3-methylbutanoate(denoted as Amcp)exhibited superior anticancer activity against human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells.The anti-proliferation activity of Amcp was validated in human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells in vitro.Amcp more effectively induced apoptosis in BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells than gemcitabine.At a concentration of 15μM,Amcp Significantly suppressed the PI3K/AKT pathway and disrupted the mitochondrial membrane equilibrium through modulation of Noxa and Mcl-1 balance in both cell lines.Meanwhile,knockdown of Noxa substantially attenuated Amcp-induced reduction of cell viability and anti-apoptotic protein Mcl-1 level in BxPC-3 cells.In addition,Amcp showed synergistic anticancer effects when combined with gemcitabine in BxPC-3 cells.To conclude,this work not only suggests that Amcp possesses a dual-inhibitory activity towards PI3K/AKT pathway and Mcl-1,but also enlightens further development of bioactive valepotriate derivatives. | You-you Yan Ke-yu Shi Fei Teng Jing Chen Jin-xin Che Xiao-wu Dong Neng-ming Lin Bo Zhang | 2020 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,6: | 2 |

| 17 | Experimental simulation of the relative contribution of volatile-N and char-N to NO_X formation from a low-capacity bituminous coal-fired industrial boiler显示文摘The conversion of fuel-N to NOx is the main contribution of NOx from coal-fired industrial boilers and is the least-studied modelling problem arising from coal combustion. This paper summarises the current understanding of the mechanisms that account for the formation of NOx from fuel-N during coal combustion. Further experimentation on NOx emissions during bituminous coal combustion was simulated with attention focused on the contribution of char-N and volatile-N to fuel-NOx through the Coal/Char combustion method. The critical analysis of this issue allowed for the identification of uncertainties and produced well-founded conclusions. The results indicated that fuel-NOx formation was a very complex physical-chemical process involving many competing mechanisms. These mechanisms included chemical reactions, convective mass transfer, heat transfer, adsorption and desorption. The contribution of char-N in this experiment varied between 30% and 70%. There may be a slight question as to the exact identity of the main contributor to fuel-NOx , and no definitive conclusion can be made as of yet. This uncertainty is because the contribution of char-N to fuel-NO x was heavily affected by the combustion conditions and the contribution of char-N increased monotonically as temperature increased. There was a critical point in the relationship between particle size, air flow, O2 concentration and the contribution of char-N. The contribution of char-N increased with the increase of particle size and air flow initially when less than the critical value, and decreased when more than thecritical value. | 18 | Aerosol Optical Properties and Radiative Impacts in the Pearl River Delta Region of China during the Dry Season显示文摘Aerosol optical properties and direct radiative effects on surface irradiance were examined using seven years(2006–2012)of Cimel sunphotometer data collected at Panyu—the main atmospheric composition monitoring station in the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region of China. During the dry season(October to February), mean values of the aerosol optical depth(AOD)at 550 nm, the ?ngstr?m exponent, and the single scattering albedo at 440 nm(SSA) were 0.54, 1.33 and 0.87, respectively.About 90% of aerosols were dominated by fine-mode strongly absorbing particles. The size distribution was bimodal, with fine-mode particles dominating. The fine mode showed a peak at a radius of 0.12 μm in February and October(~0.10μm^3μm^(-2)). The mean diurnal shortwave direct radiative forcing at the surface, inside the atmosphere(FATM), and at the top of the atmosphere, was-33.4 ± 7.0, 26.1 ± 5.6 and-7.3 ± 2.7 W m^(-2), respectively. The corresponding mean values of aerosol direct shortwave radiative forcing per AOD were-60.0 ± 7.8, 47.3 ± 8.3 and-12.8 ± 3.1 W m^(-2), respectively. Moreover,during the study period, FATMshowed a significant decreasing trend(p < 0.01) and SSA increased from 0.87 in 2006 to 0.91 in 2012, suggesting a decreasing trend of absorbing particles being released into the atmosphere. | 19 | Evaluating the performance and influencing factors of three portable black carbon monitors for field measurement显示文摘Black carbon(BC)is associated with adverse human health and climate change.Mapping BC spatial distribution imperatively requires low-cost and portable devices.Several portable BC monitors are commercially available,but their accuracy and reliability are not always satisfactory during continuous field observation.This study evaluated three models of portable black carbon monitors,C12,MA350 and DST,and investigates the factors that affect their performance.The monitors were tested in urban Beijing,where portable devices running for one month alongside a regular-size reference aethalometer AE33.The study considers several factors that could influence the monitors'performance,including ambient weather,aerosol composition,loading artifacts,and built-in algorithms.The results show that MA350and DST present considerable discrepancies to the reference instrument,mainly occurring at lower concentrations(0-500 ng/m^(3))and higher concentrations(2500-8000 ng/m^(3)),respectively.These discrepancies were likely caused by the anomalous noise of MA350 and the loading artifacts of DST.The study also suggests that the ambient environment has limited influence on the monitors'performance,but loading artifacts and accompanying compensation algorithms can result in unrealistic data.Based on the evaluation,the study suggests that C12 is the best choice for unsupervised field measurement,DST should be used in scenarios where frequent maintenance is available,and MA350 is suitable for research purposes with post-processing applicable.The study highlights the importance of assigning portable BC monitors to appropriate applications and the need for optimized real-time compensation algorithms. | Liqing Wu Yicheng Shen Fei Che Yuzhe Zhang Jian Gao Chong Wang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,5: | 0 |

Morphological examination also indicated these specimens were identical to B. candidus. We concluded that the Chinese white cross-band krait, previously identified as B. multicinctus in southwest and south China, should be recognized as B. candidus, a new record in China, and B. m. wanghaoti should be invalid.
