| 1 | Pretreatment with Danhong injection protects the brain against ischemia-reperfusion injury显示文摘Danhong injection(DHI),a Chinese Materia Medica standardized product extracted from Radix Salviae miltiorrhizae and Flos Carthami tinctorii,is widely used in China for treating acute ischemic stroke. In the present study,we explored the neuroprotective efficacy of DHI in a rat model of temporary middle cerebral artery occlusion, and evaluated the potential mechanisms underlying its effects.Pretreatment with DHI(0.9 and 1.8 mL/kg)resulted in a significantly smaller infarct volume and better neurological scores than pretreatment with saline.Furthermore,DHI significantly reduced the permeability of the blood-brain barrier, increased occludin protein expression and decreased neutrophil infiltration,as well as profoundly suppressing the upregulation of matrix metallopeptidase-9 expression seen in rats that had received vehicle.Matrix metallopeptidase-2 expression was not affected by ischemia or DHI.Moreover,DHI(1.8 mL/kg)administered 3 hours after the onset of ischemia also improved neurological scores and reduced infarct size. Our results indicate that the neuroprotective efficacy of DHI in a rat model of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury is mediated by a protective effect on the blood-brain barrier and the reversal of neutrophil infiltration. | Shaoxia Wang Hong Guo Xumei Wang Lijuan Chai Limin Hu Tao Zhao Buchang Zhao Xiaoxu Tan Feifei Jia | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,15: | 12 |
| 2 | Matched Filter Based Spectrum Sensing When Primary User Has Multiple Power Levels显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the matched filter based spectrum sensing in a more reasonable cognitive radio(CR) scenario when the primary user(PU) has more than one transmit power levels,as regulated in most standards,i.e.,IEEE 802.11 Series,GSM,LTE,LTE-A,etc.This new multiple primary transmit power(MPTP) scenario is specialized by two different targets:detecting the presence of PU and identifying the power level.Compared to the traditional binary sensing where only the presence of PU is checked,SU may attain more information about the primary network(making CR more 'intelligent') and design the subsequent optimization strategy. The key technology is the multiple hypothesis testing as opposed to the traditional binary hypothesis testing. We discuss two situations under whether the channel phase is known or not,and we derive the closed form solutions for decision regions and several performance metrics, from which some interesting phenomenons are observed and the related discussions are presented.Numerical examples are provided to corroborate the proposed studies. | ZHANG Xinzhi GAO Feifei CHAI Rong JIANG Tao | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,2: | 11 |

| 4 | A novel MYCN-YTHDF1 cascade contributes to retinoblastoma tumor growth by eliciting m^(6)A-dependent activation of multiple oncogenes显示文摘Retinoblastoma, the most prevalent primary intraocular tumor in children, leads to vision impairment, disability and even death. In addition to RB1 inactivation, MYCN activation has been documented as another common oncogenic alteration in retinoblastoma and represents one of the high-risk molecular subtypes of retinoblastoma. However, how MYCN contributes to the progression of retinoblastoma is still incompletely understood. Here, we report that MYCN upregulates YTHDF1, which encodes one of the reader proteins for N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A) RNA modification, in retinoblastoma. We further found that this MYCN-upregulated m^(6)A reader functions to promote retinoblastoma cell proliferation and tumor growth in an m^(6)A bindingdependent manner. Mechanistically, YTHDF1 promotes the expression of multiple oncogenes by binding to their m RNAs and enhancing m RNA stability and translation in retinoblastoma cells. Taken together, our findings reveal a novel MYCN-YTHDF1regulatory cascade in controlling retinoblastoma cell proliferation and tumor growth, pinpointing an unprecedented mechanism for MYCN amplification and/or activation to promote retinoblastoma progression. | Yingxiu Luo Mengjia He Jie Yang Feifei Zhang Jie Chen Xuyang Wen Jiayan Fan Xianqun Fan Peiwei Chai Renbing Jia | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,9: | 0 |
| 5 | Diagnosis,Treatment, and Associated Factors Among Patients with HCV Infection—Jiangsu Province,China,2004–2020显示文摘Summary What is already known on this topic? The global efforts to address the hepatitis C virus(HCV)are progressing, but there are still significant gaps in the diagnosis and treatment of HCV,leading to an increasing number of deaths related to HCV.What is added by this report? An extensive investigation was conducted to assess HCV RNA diagnosis, treatment uptake, and associated factors among individuals infected with HCV within Jiangsu Province. The study encompassed a large geographical area and utilized a substantial sample size. What are the implications for public health practice?Implementing focused interventions to improve the timely diagnosis of HCV RNA and increase the uptake of HCV treatment could effectively reduce the future burden of HCV-related health problems, deaths, and healthcare expenses. This is essential for achieving the global target of eliminating hepatitis C. | Dandan Yang Jing Lu Zhi Zhang Chuanwu Sun Zhuping Xu Yao Qi XiaoXia Liu Huan Ding Feifei Chai Zhengdong Zhang Baoli Zhu | 2024 | China CDC weekly2024,6,1: | 0 |
