| 3 | Characterization and Proteomic Analysis of Novel Rice Lesion Mimic Mutant with Enhanced Disease Resistance显示文摘Lesion mmic mutants(LMMs)are plants that spontaneously form lesions without pathogeninfection or external stimulus and exhibit resistance to pathogens.Here,a rice LMM was created by ethylmethane sulfonate mutagenesis,named as hpil(hydrogen peroxide induced lesion).Diaminobenzidineand trypan blue staining showed that large amounts of H_(2)O_(2) were produced and cell death was occurredat and around the parts of lesion mimic in the rice leaves.The phenotype of hpil is controlled by a singlerecessive gene,localized at a 2 Mb interval on chromosome 2.The data suggested that hpil is a novelLMM with enhanced bacterial and fungal disease resistance,and multiple pathogenesis-related proteins(PRs)were up-regulated.The proteomes of leaves at three positions(different degrees of lesion mimicseverity)were characterized in hpil compared with its wild type plant.Differentially expressed proteinswere detected by two dimensional difference gel electrophoresis and 274 proteins were identified byMALDITOF/TOFTM.These proteins were related to metabolic process,cellular process and response tostimulus,with mostly down-regulated in hpil leaves.Many of these proteins were related to the Calvincycle,photosynthetic electron transport chain,glycolysis/gluconeogenesis and phosphonates pathways.Some resistance-related proteins including 14-3-3 proteins,OsPR10 and antioxidases such asperoxidase,superoxide dismutase and ascorbate peroxidase were up-regulated in leaves with lesionmimic.These results provide the foundation for cloning of the target gene and shed light on themechanism involved in autaimmunity of rice. | Yang Yong Lin Qiujun Chen Xinyu Liang Weifang Fu Yuwen Xu Zhengjin Wu Yuanhua Wang Xuming Zhou Jie Yu Chulang Yan Chengqi Mei Qiong Chen Jianping | 2021 | Rice science2021,28,5: | 2 |
| 4 | Landscape Pattern of Ancient Terraces in Huangping County and Slopeto-Terrace Strategy显示文摘Formation and development of ancient terraces proves that slope-to-terrace project is a signifi cant measure for conserving water and soil in mountainous areas. UAV remote sensing technology was applied to obtain RS images with a resolution ratio of 0.1–0.5 m, Arc GIS was applied for data processing, and Fragstats3.3 was used to calculate characteristic indexes, to study landscape pattern of 4 ancient terraces in Huangping County, Guizhou Province. The results showed that terrace landscapes and woodland landscapes in the study area account for nearly 80% of the whole landscape(terrace 30%, woodland 50%); mean area of single fi eld is mainly concentrated between 100 m^2 and 200 m^2, and height between 0.7 m and 1.7 m, breadth 0.5 m and 0.6 m; most terraces have a gradient of 5–25°, accounting for 70% of the total number of fi eld. | 7 | Nonlinear Fourier transform enabled eigenvalue spectrum investigation for fiber laser radiation显示文摘Fiber lasers are a paradigm of dissipative systems,which distinguish themselves from a Hamilton system where energy is conservative.Consequently,pulses generated in a fiber laser are always accompanied by the continuous wave(CW).Under certain hypothesis,pulses generated in a fiber laser can be considered as a soliton,a product of a Hamilton system.Therefore,all the descriptions of solitons of a fiber laser are approximate.Coexistence of solitons and the CW from a fiber laser prevents unveiling of real nonlinear dynamics in fiber lasers,such as soliton interactions.Pulse behavior in a fiber laser can be represented by the state of single pulse,the state of period doubling of single pulse,the states of two pulses either tightly bound or loosely distributed,the states of three pulses,and various combinations of the above-mentioned states.Recently,soliton distillation was proposed and numerically demonstrated based on the nonlinear Fourier transform(NFT)[J.Lightwave Technol.39,2542(2021)].Solitons can be separated from the coherent CW background.Therefore,it is feasible to isolate solitons from CW background in a fiber laser.Here,we applied the NFT to various pulses generated in a fiber laser,including single pulse,single pulse in period doubling,different double pulses,and multiple pulses.Furthermore,with the approach of soliton distillation,the corresponding pure solitons of those pulses are reconstructed.Simulation results suggest that the NFT can be used to identify soliton dynamics excluding CW influence in a fiber laser,which paves a new way for uncovering real soliton interaction in nonlinear systems. | YUTIAN WANG SONGNIAN FU JIAN KONG ANDREY KOMAROV MARIUSZ KLIMCZAK RYSZARD BUCZY'n SKI XIAHUI TANG MING TANG YUWEN QIN LUMING ZHAO | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,8: | 1 |
| 8 | Antioxidant procyanidin B2 protects oocytes against cryoinjuries via mitochondria regulated cortical tension显示文摘Background:Irreversible cryodamage caused by oocyte vitrification limited its wild application in female fertility preservation.Antioxidants were always used to antagonist the oxidative stress caused by vitrification.However,the comprehensive mechanism underlying the protective role of antioxidants has not been studied.Procyanidin B2(PCB2)is a potent natural antioxidant and its functions in response to vitrification are still unknown.In this study,the effects of PCB2 on vitrified-thawed oocytes and subsequent embryo development were explored,and the mechanisms underlying the protective role of PCB2 were systematically elucidated.Results:Vitrification induced a marked decline in oocyte quality,while PCB2 could improve oocyte viability and further development after parthenogenetic activation.A subsequent study indicated that PCB2 effectively attenuated vitrification-induced oxidative stress,rescued mitochondrial dysfunction,and improved cell viability.Moreover,PCB2 also acts as a cortical tension regulator apart from strong antioxidant properties.Increased cortical tension caused by PCB2 would maintain normal spindle morphology and promote migration,ensure correct meiosis progression and finally reduce the aneuploidy rate in vitrified oocytes.Further study reveals that ATP biosynthesis plays a crucial role in cortical tension regulation,and PCB2 effectively increased the cortical tension through the electron transfer chain pathway.Additionally,PCB2 would elevate the cortical tension in embryo cells at morula and blastocyst stages and further improve blastocyst quality.What's more,targeted metabolomics shows that PCB2 has a beneficial effect on blastocyst formation by mediating saccharides and amino acids metabolism.Conclusions:Antioxidant PCB2 exhibits multi-protective roles in response to vitrification stimuli through mitochondria-mediated cortical tension regulation. | Qingrui Zhuan Jun Li Xingzhu Du Luyao Zhang Lin Meng Yuwen Luo Dan Zhou Hongyu Liu Pengcheng Wan Yunpeng Hou Xiangwei Fu | 2023 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Climate Prediction and Diagnostic Analysis of Typhoon Precipitation in Midsummer of Yongzhou显示文摘By consulting the typhoon yearbook and restoring the historical weather chart,technical separation of typhoon precipitation in Yongzhou from July to September of 1981-2015 was conducted.On this basis,climatic characteristics of typhoon precipitation in midsummer of Yongzhou were analyzed,and climate prediction and diagnostic analysis were carried out.The research results showed that typhoon precipitation was an important component of midsummer precipitation in Yongzhou,but its contribution to total precipitation was not as much as precipitation of the westerly belt system.When the ridge line of the western Pacific subtropical high was northward,typhoon precipitation was more than westerly precipitation in midsummer of Yongzhou;when the subtropical high was southward,there were more patterns of westerly precipitation year;when the subtropical high was normally northward,typhoon precipitation and westerly precipitation were less,with more dry years.In summer,abnormal cold sea surface temperature(SST)in tidal zone and warm pool zone of western Pacific and abnormal warm SST in NinoZ zone(strong El Nino event)were favorable for that the ridge line of the western Pacific subtropical high was southward,and there were more patterns of westerly precipitation year in midsummer of Yongzhou.On the contrary,when subtropical high was northward or normally northerly,there was less westerly precipitation.In non La Nina years when the subtropical high was northward,most of them were typhoon precipitation years.In La Nina years when the subtropical high was northward,most of them were dry years. | Zhiyu LONG Wei FU Shen LIU Yuwen ZHOU | 2020 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2020,11,5: | 0 |
| 10 | Self-templating synthesis of biomass-based porous carbon nanotubes for energy storage and catalytic degradation applications显示文摘Dwindling energy sources and a worsening environment are huge global problems,and biomass wastes are an under-exploited source of material for both energy and material generation.Herein,self-template decoction dregs of Ganoderma lucidum-derived porous carbon nanotubes(ST-DDLGCs)were synthesized via a facile and scalable strategy in response to these challenges.ST-DDLGCs exhibited a large surface area(1731.51 m^(2)g^(-1))and high pore volume(0.76 cm^(3)g^(-1)),due to the interlacing tubular structures of precursors and extra-hierarchical porous structures on tube walls.In the ST-DDLGC/PMS system,the degradation efficiency of capecitabine(CAP)reached~97.3%within 120 min.Moreover,ST-DDLGCs displayed high catalytic activity over a wide pH range of 3–9,and strong anti-interference to these typical and ubiquitous anions in wastewater and natural water bodies(i.e.,H_(2)PO_(4)^(-),NO_(3)^(-),Cl^(-) and HCO_(3)^(-)),in which a ^(1)O_(2)-dominated oxidation was identified and non-radical mechanisms were deduced.Additionally,ST-DDLGC-based coin-type symmetrical supercapacitors exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance,with specific capacitances of up to 328.1 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),and cycling stability of up to 98.6%after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g^(-1).The superior properties of ST-DDLGCs could be attributed to the unique porous tubular structure,which facilitated mass transfer and presented numerous active sites.The results highlight ST-DDLGCs as a potential candidate for constructing inexpensive and advanced environmentally functional materials and energy storage devices. | Manman Xu Shiqi Fu Yukai Wen Wei Li Qiongfang Zhuo Haida Zhu Zhikeng Zheng Yuwen Chen Anqi Wang Kai Yan | 2024 | Green Energy & Environment2024,9,3: | 0 |
