1Design of terahertz band-stop filter based on a metallic resonator on high-resistivity silicon wafer显示文摘In this paper, we present a terahertz (THz) band-stop filter realized by fabricating a metallic T-shaped resonator pattern on the high-resistivity silicon wafer. The filter exhibits two typical band-stop response characteristics depending on the incident direction of electric field with respect to the T-shaped resonator. When the long and the short arms of the T-shaped resonator were electrically polarized by changing the incident THz wave transmission directions, the corresponding central frequencies of the band-stop filter were found to be 0.436 THz at 42dB and 0.610 THz at 28 dB, respectively. Using three-dimensional (3D) finite-integral time-domain simulations, the band-stop filter was designed, which can operate in the wavelength between 0.2 and 0.8 THz. Experimental verification was also performed using a free space THz time-domain spectroscopy system. The band-stop response characteristics are in good agreement with the simulation results. 2Hole-pinned defect-dipoles induced colossal permittivity in Bi doped SrTiO3 ceramics with Sr deficiency显示文摘Bi doped SrTiO3 ceramics with Sr deficiency,i.e.Sr1-1.5xBixTiO3(x=0,0.01,0.05,0.1),were prepared via conventional solid-state reaction route.A colossal permittivity(CP)over 104 with low dielectric loss less than 0.05wasobtained in x=0.05 Sr1-1.5xBixTiO3 ceramics.In addition,the dielectric constant is maintained at a value greater than 104 in the range of 102-105 Hz and almost frequency independent.Phase structure analysis and density functional theory calculations suggest that the Bi·Sr-V'Sr-Bi·Sr defect complex with hole-pinned defect-dipoles maybe responsible for the high-performance CP properties.This work gives a new way to achieve high performance CP materials in ABO3 perovskite ceramics.Yulong Qiao Weili Li Yulei Zhang Lu Jing Chang Gao Wenping Cao Dan Xu Weidong Fei 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,44,9:2

8Experimental measurement of bipartite entanglement using parameterized quantum circuits显示文摘Entanglement in quantum systems plays a crucial role in various quantum information tasks. Measuring entanglement has been an important issue in both experiments and theories. In this work, we use parameterized quantum circuits(PQCs) to diagonalize density matrices of quantum states and obtain entanglement by only measuring the diagonal elements. With this method, full quantum state tomography can be bypassed, greatly reducing the number of measurements. A comprehensive characterization of entanglement was performed by using Rényi entropy and partially transposed moments. Mutual information, calculated from entropy is also used to characterize dynamical quantum phase transitions. We experimentally demonstrated the method on a four-qubit nuclear magnetic resonance quantum simulator. Our results agree with the theoretical descriptions. The measurement complexity of our PQC-based method grows linearly with the number of diagonal elements in the density matrix, a square root reduction over the full quantum tomography. 10Development of a novel two-stage proportional valve with a pilot digital flow distribution显示文摘Pilot two-stage proportional valves are widely used in high-power hydraulic systems. For the purpose of improving the dynamic performance, reliability, and digitization of the traditional proportional valve, a novel two-stage proportional valve with a pilot digital flow distribution is proposed from the viewpoint of the dual nozzle-flapper valve’s working principle. In particular, the dual nozzle-flapper is decoupled by two high-speed on/off valves (HSVs). First, the working principle and mathematical model of the proposed valve are determined. Then, the influences of the control parameters (duty cycle and switching frequency) and structural parameters (fixed orifice’s diameter and main valve’s spring) on the main valve’s motion are analyzed on the basis of theory, simulation, and experiment. In addition, in optimizing the value of the fixed orifice’s diameter, a new design criterion that considers the maximum pressure sensitivity, flow controllability, and flow linearization is proposed to improve the balance between the effective displacement and the displacement fluctuation of the main valve. The new scheme is verified by simulations and experiments. Experimental results of the closed-loop displacement tracking have demonstrated that the delay time of the main valve is always within 3.5 ms under different working conditions, and the tracking error can be significantly reduced using the higher switching frequency. The amplitude–frequency experiments indicate that a −3 dB-frequency of the proposed valve can reach 9.5 Hz in the case of ±50% full scale and 15 Hz in the case of 0%–50% full scale.
