1Minimal invasive microscopic tooth preparation in esthetic restoration: a specialist consensus显示文摘By removing a part of the structure,the tooth preparation provides restorative space,bonding surface,and finish line for various restorations on abutment.Preparation technique plays critical role in achieving the optimal result of tooth preparation.With successful application of microscope in endodontics for>30 years,there is a full expectation of microscopic dentistry.However,as relatively little progress has been made in the application of microscopic dentistry in prosthodontics,the following assumptions have been proposed:Is it suitable to choose the tooth preparation technique under the naked eye in the microscopic vision?Is there a more accurate preparation technology intended for the microscope?To obtain long-term stable therapeutic effects,is it much easier to achieve maximum tooth preservation and retinal protection and maintain periodontal tissue and oral function health under microscopic vision?Whether the microscopic prosthodontics is a gimmick or a breakthrough in obtaining an ideal tooth preparation should be resolved in microscopic tooth preparation.This article attempts to illustrate the concept,core elements,and indications of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation,physiological basis of dental pulp,periodontium and functions involved in tool preparation,position ergonomics and visual basis for dentists,comparison of tooth preparation by naked eyes and a microscope,and comparison of different designs of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation techniques.Furthermore,a clinical protocol for microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation based on target restorative space guide plate has been put forward and new insights on the quantity and shape of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation has been provided.Haiyang Yu Yuwei Zhao Junying Li Tian Luo Jing Gao Hongchen Liu Weicai Liu Feng Liu Ke Zhao Fei Liu Chufan Ma Juergen MSetz Shanshan Liang Lin Fan Shanshan Gao Zhuoli Zhu Jiefei Shen Jian Wang Zhimin Zhu Xuedong Zhou 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,4:25
2Municipal wastewater treatment in China:Development history and future perspectives显示文摘China has the world's largest and still growing wastewater sector and water market,thus its future development will have profound influence on the world.The high-speed development of China's wastewater sector over the past 40 years has forged its global leading treatment capacity and innovation ability.However,many problems were left behind,including underdeveloped sewers and sludge disposal facilities,low sustainability of the treatment processes,questionable wastewater treatment plant(WWTP)effluent discharge standards,and lacking global thinking on harmonious development between wastewater management,human society and the nature.Addressing these challenges calls for fundamental changes in target design,policy and technologies.In this mini-review,we revisit the development history of China's municipal wastewater management and identify the remaining challenges.Also,we highlight the future needs of sustainable development and exploring China's own wastewater management path,and outlook the future from several aspects including targets of wastewater management,policies and technologies,especially the new concept WWTP.Furthermore,we envisage the establishment of new-generation WWTPs with the vision of turning WWTP from a site of pollutant removal into a plant of energy,water and fertilizer recovery and an integrated part urban ecology in China.Jiuhui Qu Hongchen Wang Kaijun Wang Gang Yu Bing Ke Han-Qing Yu Hongqiang Ren Xingcan Zheng Ji Li Wen-Wei Li Song Gao Hui Gong 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,6:13

4Simple photonic-assisted radio frequency down-converter based on opto- electronic oscillator显示文摘A photonic-assisted radio frequency(RF)down-converter integrating with the optoelectronic oscillator(OEO)-based high quality local oscillator(LO)has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated.The LO and the RF input signal are mixed at the same phase modulator and photo-detector(PD)of the OEO-loop without any additional modulator or PD.The working bandwidth of the proposed RF down-converter is nearly from 2.5 to 10 GHz.The performance of the proposed down-converter is presented and the spurious frequency dynamic range at frequency of 5.5 GHz with the LO at 6.138 GHz is measured to be 98.4 dB–Hz2∕3.The influences that the frequency range and power of the RF input signal bring to the system are discussed as well.©2014 Chinese Laser Press.Hongchen Yu Minghua Chen Hongbiao Gao Cheng Lei Heng Zhang Sigang Yang Hongwei Chen Shizhong Xie 2014Photonics Research2014,2,4:1

6Outcomes of haploidentical bone marrow transplantation in patients with severe aplastic anemia-II that progressed from non-severe acquired aplastic anemia显示文摘Severe aplastic anemia II(SAA-II)progresses from non-severe aplastic anemia(NSAA).The unavailability of efficacious treatment has prompted the need for haploidentical bone marrow transplantation(haplo-BMT)in patients lacking a human leukocyte antigen(HLA)-matched donor.This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of haplo-BMT for patients with SAA-II.Twenty-two patients were included and followed up,and FLU/BU/CY/ATG was used as conditioning regimen.Among these patients,21 were successfully engrafted,19 of whom survived after haplo-BMT.Four patients experienced grade II–IV aGvHD,including two with grade III–IV aGvHD.Six patients experienced chronic GvHD,among whom four were mild and two were moderate.Twelve patients experienced infections during BMT.One was diagnosed with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder and one with probable EBV disease,and both recovered after rituximab infusion.Haplo-BMT achieved 3-year overall survival and disease-free survival rate of 86.4%±0.73%after a median follow-up of 42 months,indicating its effectiveness as a salvage therapy.These promising outcomes may support haplo-BMT as an alternative treatment strategy for patients with SAA-II lacking HLA-matched donors.Hongchen Liu Xiaoli Zheng Chengtao Zhang Jiajun Xie Beibei Gao Jing Shao Yan Yang Hengxiang Wang Jinsong Yan 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,5:1
