Minimal invasive microscopic tooth preparation in esthetic restoration: a specialist consensus显示文摘By removing a part of the structure, the tooth preparation provides restorative space, bonding surface, and finish line for various restorations on abutment.Preparation technique plays critical role in achieving the optimal result of tooth preparation. With successful application of microscope in endodontics for>30 years, there is a full expectation of microscopic dentistry. However,as relatively little progress has been made in the application of microscopic dentistry in prosthodontics, the following assumptions have been proposed:Is it suitable to choose the tooth preparation technique under the naked eye in the microscopic vision? Is there a more accurate preparation technology intended for the microscope? To obtain long-term stable therapeutic effects,is it much easier to achieve maximum tooth preservation and retinal protection and maintain periodontal tissue and oral function health under microscopic vision?Whether the microscopic prosthodontics is a gimmick or a breakthrough in obtaining an ideal tooth preparation should be resolved in microscopic tooth preparation. This article attempts to illustrate the concept, core elements, and indications of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation, physiological basis of dental pulp, periodontium and functions involved in tool preparation, position ergonomics and visual basis for dentists, comparison of tooth preparation by naked eyes and a microscope, and comparison of different designs of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation techniques.Furthermore,a clinical protocol for microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation based on target restorative space guide plate has been put forward and new insights on the quantity and shape of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation has been provided. | Haiyang Yu Yuwei Zhao Junying Li Tian Luo Jing Gao Hongchen Liu Weicai Liu Feng Liu Ke Zhao Fei Liu Chufan Ma Juergen MSetz Shanshan Liang Lin Fan Shanshan Gao Zhuoli Zhu Jiefei Shen Jian Wang Zhimin Zhu Xuedong Zhou | 2019 | International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,4: | 25
Identification and primary genetic analysis of Arabidopsis stomatal mutants in response to multiple stresses显示文摘In response to variable environmental conditions, guard cells located in the leaf epidermis can integrate and cope with a multitude of complicated stimuli, thereby making stomata in an appro- priate state. However, many signaling components in guard cell signaling remain elusive. In our laboratory, a tool for non-invasive remote infrared thermal images was used to screen an ethyl methane sulfonate-mutagenized population for Arabidopsis stomatal response mutants under multiple stresses (ABA, H2O2, CO2, etc.). More than forty 'hot' or 'cold' mutants were isolated (above or below 0.5℃ in con- trast to normal plantlets). Identification and primary genetic analysis of these mutants show that they are monogenic recessive mutations and there exist distinct difference in stomata apertures compared to wild type. These mutants in response to various environmental stresses and hormones were comprehen- sively investigated, which enables us to further un- derstand the cross-talk in different signal transduction pathways. | SONG Yuwei KANG Yanli LIU Hao ZHAO Xiaoliang WANG Pengtao AN Guoyong ZHOU Yun MIAO Chen SONG Chunpeng | 2006 | Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,21: | 11
Oncogenic AURKA-enhanced N6-methyladenosine modification increases DROSHA mRNA stability to transactivate STC1 in breast cancer stem-like cells显示文摘RNase III DROSHA is upregulated in multiple cancers and contributes to tumor progression by hitherto unclear mechanisms. Here,we demonstrate that DROSHA interacts withβ-Catenin to transactivate STC1 in an RNA cleavage-independent manner, contributing to breast cancer stem-like cell(BCSC)properties.DROSHA mRNA stability is enhanced by N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)modification which is activated by AURKA in BCSCs.AURKA stabilizes METTL14 by inhibiting its ubiquitylation and degradation to promote DROSHA mRNA methylation. Moreover, binding of AURKA to DROSHA transcript further strengthens the binding of the m^(6)A reader IGF2BP2 to stabilize m^(6)A-modified DROSHA.In addition,wild-type DROSHA,but not an m^(6)A methylation-deficient mutant, enhances BCSC stemness maintenance, while inhibition of DROSHA m^(6)A modification attenuates BCSC traits. Our study unveils the AURKA-induced oncogenic m^(6)A modification as a key regulator of DROSHA in breast cancer and identifies a novel DROSHA transcriptional function in promoting the BCSC phenotype. | Fei Peng Jie Xu Bai Cui Qilan Liang Sai Zeng Bin He Hong Zou Manman Li Huan Zhao Yuting Meng Jin Chen Bing Liu Shasha Lv Peng Chu Fan An Zifeng Wang Junxiu Huang Yajing Zhan Yuwei Liao Jinxin Lu Lingzhi Xu Jin Zhang Zhaolin Su Zhiguang Li Fangjun Wang Eric W-FLam Quentin Liu | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,3: | 9
Study on self-healing and corrosion resistance behaviors of functionalized carbon dot-intercalated graphene-based waterborne epoxy coating显示文摘Functionalized carbon dots(CDs)obtained from citric acid derivative were selected as intercalatorto modify graphene and then dispersed into epoxy matrix to prepare CDs modified graphene/epoxy(CDs-G/EP)coatings.Meanwhile,their microstructure,self-healing and corro sion resistance behaviors were analyzed deeply.Structural characterizations indicated the formation of'π-π'interaction between functionalized carbon dots and graphene.By observation, the dispersion and interface compatibility of graphene were greatly enhanced by CDs.The change rules of electrochemistry results implied that the addition of 0.5 wt.%CDs-G in EP coating(CDs-G0.5%/EP)demonstrated a superior protective property on steel, which was attributed to the physical barrier of highly dispersed graphene and the self-healing ability of CDs.After 50 days immersion, the oxygen permeability coefficient and water absorption of CDs-G0.5%/EP coating were only 4.27×10^(-13)cm^(3)cm cm^(-2)s^(-1)Pa^(-1) and 4.4%,respectively. | Yuwei Ye Hao Chen Yangjun Zou Haichao Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8: | 5

Image matching algorithm based on SIFT using color and exposure information显示文摘Image matching based on scale invariant feature transform(SIFT) is one of the most popular image matching algorithms, which exhibits high robustness and accuracy. Grayscale images rather than color images are generally used to get SIFT descriptors in order to reduce the complexity. The regions which have a similar grayscale level but different hues tend to produce wrong matching results in this case. Therefore, the loss of color information may result in decreasing of matching ratio. An image matching algorithm based on SIFT is proposed, which adds a color offset and an exposure offset when converting color images to grayscale images in order to enhance the matching ratio. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively differentiate the regions with different colors but the similar grayscale level, and increase the matching ratio of image matching based on SIFT. Furthermore, it does not introduce much complexity than the traditional SIFT. | Yan Zhao Yuwei Zhai Eric Dubois Shigang Wang | 2016 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2016,27,3: | 5
SARS-CoV-2 ORF10 suppresses the antiviral innate immune response by degrading MAVS through mitophagy显示文摘The global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused severe morbidity and mortality in humans. It is urgent to understand the function of viral genes. However, the function of open reading frame 10(ORF10),which is uniquely expressed by SARS-CoV-2,remains unclear. In this study,we showed that overexpression of ORF10 markedly suppressed the expression of type I interferon(IFN-I)genes and IFN-stimulated genes. Then, mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein(MAVS)was identified as the target via which ORF10 suppresses the IFN-I signaling pathway, and MAVS was found to be degraded through the ORF10-induced autophagy pathway.Furthermore, overexpression of ORF10 promoted the accumulation of LC3 in mitochondria and induced mitophagy.Mechanistically,ORF10 was translocated to mitochondria by interacting with the mitophagy receptor Nip3-like protein X(NIX)and induced mitophagy through its interaction with both NIX and LC3B.Moreover,knockdown of NIX expression blocked mitophagy activation,MAVS degradation, and IFN-I signaling pathway inhibition by ORF10.Consistent with our observations,in the context of SARS-CoV-2 infection,ORF10 inhibited MAVS expression and facilitated viral replication. In brief, our results reveal a novel mechanism by which SARS-CoV-2 inhibits the innate immune response;that is,ORF10 induces mitophagy-mediated MAVS degradation by binding to NIX. | Xingyu Li Peili Hou Wenqing Ma Xuefeng Wang Hongmei Wang Zhangping Yu Huasong Chang Tiecheng Wang Song Jin Xue Wang Wenqi Wang Yudong Zhao Yong Zhao Chunqing Xu Xiaomei Ma Yuwei Gao Hongbin He | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1: | 4
Modulating the optical and electrical properties of MAPbBr_(3) single crystals via voltage regulation engineering and application in memristors显示文摘Defect density is one of the most significant characteristics of perovskite single crystals(PSCs)that determines their optical and electrical properties, but few strategies are available to tune this property. Here,we demonstrate that voltage regulation is an efficient method to tune defect density,as well as the optical and electrical properties of PSCs.A three-step carrier transport model of MAPbBr_(3) PSCs is proposed to explore the defect regulation mechanism and carrier transport dynamics via an applied bias.Dynamic and steady-state photoluminescence measurements subsequently show that the surface defect density, average carrier lifetime, and photoluminescence intensity can be efficiently tuned by the applied bias.In particular, when the regulation voltage is 20 V(electrical poling intensity is 0.167 Vμm^(−1)),the surface defect density of MAPbBr_(3) PSCs is reduced by 24.27%,the carrier lifetime is prolonged by 32.04%,and the PL intensity is increased by 112.96%.Furthermore,a voltage-regulated MAPbBr_(3) PSC memristor device shows an adjustable multiresistance, weak ion migration effect and greatly enhanced device stability.Voltage regulation is a promising engineering technique for developing advanced perovskite optoelectronic devices. | Jun Xing Chen Zhao Yuting Zou Wenchi Kong Zhi Yu Yuwei Shan Qingfeng Dong Ding Zhou Weili Yu Chunlei Guo | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 3
Two-dimensional multimetallic sulfide nanosheets with multi-active sites to enhance polysulfide redox reactions in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘The lithium-sulfur battery has attracted enormous attention as being one of the most significant energy storage technologies due to its high energy density and cost-effectiveness.However,the 'shuttle effect' of polysulfide intermediates represents a formidable challenge towards its wide applications.Herein,we have designed and synthesized two-dimensional Cu,Zn and Sn-based multimetallic sulfide nanosheets to construct multi-active sites for the immobilization and entrapment of polysulfides with offering better performance in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries. Both experimental measurements and theoretical computations demonstrate that the interfacial multi-active sites of multimetallic sulfides not only accelerate the multi-chained redox reactions of highly diffusible polysulfides, but also strengthen affinities toward polysulfides.By adopting multimetallic sulfide nanosheets as the sulfur host, the liquid Li2 S6-based cell exhibits an impressive rate capability with 1200 mAh/g and retains 580 mAh/g at 0.5 mA/cm^(2) after 1000 cycles. With high sulfur mass loading conditions, the cell with 2.0 mg/cm^(2) sulfur loading delivers a cell capacity of 1068 mAh/g and maintains 480 mAh/g with 0.8 mA/cm^(2) and 500 cycles. This study provides new insights into the multifunctional material design with multi-active sites for elevated lithium-polysulfide batteries. | Chenyang Zha Donghai Wu Yuwei Zhao Jun Deng Jinghua Wu Rong Wu Meng Yang Lin Wang Houyang Chen | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1: | 3
Bismuth and antimony-based oxyhalides and chalcohalides as potential optoelectronic materials显示文摘In the last decade the ns^(2) cations(e.g.,Pb^(2+)and Sn^(2+))-based halides have emerged as one of the most exciting new classes of optoelectronic materials,as exemplified by for instance hybrid perovskite solar absorbers. These materials not only exhibit unprecedented performance in some cases, but they also appear to break new ground with their unexpected properties, such as extreme tolerance to defects. However, because of the relatively recent emergence of this class of materials, there remain many yet to be fully explored compounds. Here,we assess a series of bismuth/antimony oxyhalides and chalcohalides using consistent first principles methods to ascertain their properties and obtain trends.Based on these calculations,we identify a subset consisting of three types of compounds that may be promising as solar absorbers, transparent conductors, and radiation detectors.Their electronic structure, connection to the crystal geometry, and impact on band-edge dispersion and carrier effective mass are discussed. | Zhao Ran Xinjiang Wang Yuwei Li Dongwen Yang Xin-Gang Zhao Koushik Biswas David J.Singh Lijun Zhang | 2018 | npj Computational Materials2018,,1: | 3
Comparison and Analysis of Toluene Adsorption Properties of ZSM-5 Molecular Sieve Treated by Different Modification Methods: Adsorption Kinetic and Mechanism Studies显示文摘MFI molecular sieve with high specific surface area, adjustable pore size and low production cost have been recognized as an effective adsorbent for VOCs removal. In this paper,NaOH solution was used to etch ZSM-5 to increase specific surface area and micro-mesoporous content.Graphene oxide(GO)was loaded on ZSM-5 by ultrasonic-assisted heating immersion method, and largeπ-bond structure and oxygen-containing functional groups were added to ZSM-5 for improving the composite adsorption performance. In addition, the properties of OH-ZSM-5 and ZSM-5@GO composites for toluene adsorption under different factors were also studied. It was positively correlated with initial concentration and adsorbent mass, but was negatively correlated with temperature.Meanwhile, the results showed that the saturated adsorption capacity of OH-ZSM-5(107.3 mg/g)was 1.34 times higher than that of ZG-15%(80.2 mg/g).The pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic model can well describe the adsorption behavior of toluene on the OH-ZSM-5 and ZG-15%,respectively.The adsorption mechanism of OH-ZSM-5 was mainly pore-filled adsorption. However, the adsorption mechanisms of ZSM-5@GO composite were pore-filled adsorption,π-πinteraction,and H-bond interaction. This study will help to design a new strategy for enhancing the performance of traditional adsorbent ZSM-5 in VOCs removal. | Zhang Shuai Li Meng Li Wei Li Yuwei Liu Fang Xue Ming Wang Yongqiang Zhao Chaocheng | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,1: | 2
B cell-derived anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I antibody mediates hyperhomocysteinemia-aggravated hypertensive glomerular lesions by triggering ferroptosis显示文摘Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy)is a risk factor for chronic kidney diseases(CKDs)that affects about 85%CKD patients.HHcy stimulates B cells to secrete pathological antibodies, although it is unknown whether this pathway mediates kidney injury. In HHcytreated 2-kidney,1-clip(2K1C)hypertensive murine model,HHcy-activated B cells secreted anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I(β2GPI)antibodies that deposited in glomerular endothelial cells(GECs),exacerbating glomerulosclerosis and reducing renal function.Mechanistically,HHcy 2K1C mice increased phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)(18:0/20:4,18:0/22:6,16:0/20:4)in kidney tissue,as determined by lipidomics.GECs oxidative lipidomics validated the increase of oxidized phospholipids upon Hcy-activated B cells culture medium(Hcy-B CM)treatment, including PE(18:0/20:4+3[O],PE(18:0a/22:4+1[O],PE(18:0/22:4+2[O]and PE(18:0/22:4+3[O]).PE synthases ethanolamine kinase 2(etnk2)and ethanolamine-phosphate cytidylyltransferase 2(pcyt2)were increased in the kidney GECs of HHcy 2K1C mice and facilitated polyunsaturated PE synthesis to act as lipid peroxidation substrates. In HHcy 2K1C mice and Hcy-B CM-treated GECs,the oxidative environment induced by iron accumulation and the insufficient clearance of lipid peroxides caused by transferrin receptor(TFR)elevation and down-regulation of SLC7A11/glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)contributed to GECs ferroptosis of the kidneys. In vivo, pharmacological depletion of B cells or inhibition of ferroptosis mitigated the HHcy-aggravated hypertensive renal injury.Consequently, our findings uncovered a novel mechanism by which B cell-derived pathogenic anti-β2GPI IgG generated by HHcy exacerbated hypertensive kidney damage by inducing GECs ferroptosis.Targeting B cells or ferroptosis may be viable therapeutic strategies for ameliorating lipid peroxidative renal injury in HHcy patients with hypertensive nephropathy. | Xing Du Xiaolong Ma Ying Tan Fangyu Shao Chun Li Yang Zhao Yutong Miao Lulu Han Guohui Dang Yuwei Song Dongmin Yang Zhenling Deng Yue Wang Changtao Jiang Wei Kong Juan Feng Xian Wang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 2
Modulation of Beta Oscillations for Implicit Motor Timing in Primate Sensorimotor Cortex during Movement Preparation显示文摘Motor timing is an important part of sensorimotor control. Previous studies have shown that beta oscillations embody the process of temporal perception in explicit timing tasks. In contrast, studies focusing on beta oscillations in implicit timing tasks are lacking. In this study, we set up an implicit motor timing task and found a modulation pattern of beta oscillations with temporal perception during movement preparation. We trained two macaques in a repetitive visually-guided reach-to-grasp task with different holding intervals. Spikes and local field potentials were recorded from microelectrode arrays in the primary motor cortex, primary somatosensory cortex, and posterior parietal cortex. We analyzed the association between beta oscillations and temporal interval in fixedduration experiments(500 ms as the Short Group and1500 ms as the Long Group) and random-duration experiments(500 ms to 1500 ms). The results showed that the peak beta frequencies in both experiments ranged from15 Hz to 25 Hz. The beta power was higher during the hold period than the movement(reach and grasp) period.Further, in the fixed-duration experiments, the mean poweras well as the maximum rate of change of beta power in the first 300 ms were higher in the Short Group than in the Long Group when aligned with the Center Hit event. In contrast, in the random-duration experiments, the corresponding values showed no statistical differences among groups. The peak latency of beta power was shorter in the Short Group than in the Long Group in the fixed-duration experiments, while no consistent modulation pattern was found in the random-duration experiments. These results indicate that beta oscillations can modulate with temporal interval in their power mode. The synchronization period of beta power could reflect the cognitive set maintaining working memory of the temporal structure and attention. | Hongji Sun Xuan Ma Liya Tang Jiuqi Han Yuwei Zhao Xuejiao Xu Lubin Wang Peng Zhang Luyao Chen Jin Zhou Changyong Wang | 2019 | Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,5: | 2
Chronic electrical stimulation induces functional network changes in cortical neuron cultures显示文摘Recent studies demonstrated that a functional brain network could be regarded as a complex network. With the help of network theory, neuroscientists can identify common organizational principles of the functional brain networks. As a consequence, some non-random organizational features, such as'small world'(most of the nodes are not connected directly but can communicate with few intermediate relay steps)and'rich club'(nodes that are rich in connections tend to form strongly interconnected clubs),have been found in functional brain network.Recently, the'small world'organizational feature of neuronal functional networks in vitro was found to be influenced by external applications. However, little is known about the influence of chronic electrical stimulation on functional networks of dissociated cortical cultures during network development. In the present study, cortical cultures were electrically stimulated at a frequency of 0,0.02,and 0.2 Hz,between 7 and 26 days in vitro(DIV).The spontaneous activity of the cortical cultures was recorded using MEAs.Next,a cross-covariance method and graph theory were applied to investigate organizational feature of functional networks. Our results showed that over 3 weeks of stimulation, the network density significantly increased with maturation in the control and 0.02 Hz stimulation groups, but not in 0.2 Hz stimulation groups. Moreover, all the cultures had a small-world topology at 14,18,22,and 26 DIV,free from the effect of chronic electrical stimulation.Besides,we found an asymmetry effect that partial electrical stimulation inhibited the formation of node connections in stimulated areas. This effect was more pronounced at 0.2 Hz than at 0.02 Hz stimulation. Our results suggest that electrical stimulation does not affect the small-world properties of neural cultures.Instead, electrical stimulation modulates connectivity patterns, and neurons within the stimulated area are less connected than neurons outside the stimulated area. | WU SongFang WANG LuBin ZHAO YuWei SUN HongJi LANG YiRan WANG ChangYong HAN JiuQi WANG Yan HAN Yao | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,4: | 2
integrated structure for recognition of different joint motion states with the assistance of a deep learning algorithm显示文摘Accurate motion feature extraction and recognition provide critical information for many scientific problems.Herein,a new paradigm for a wearable seamless multimode sensor with the ability to decouple pressure and strain stimuli and recognize the different joint motion states is reported. This wearable sensor is integrated into a unique seamless structure consisting of two main parts(a resistive component and a capacitive component)to decouple the different stimuli by an independent resistance-capacitance sensing mechanism. The sensor exhibits both high strain sensitivity(GF=7.62,0-140%strain)under the resistance mechanism and high linear pressure sensitivity(S=3.4 kPa^(-1),0-14 kPa)under the capacitive mechanism. The sensor can differentiate the motion characteristics of the positions and states of different joints with precise recognition(97.13%)with the assistance of machine learning algorithms. The unique integrated seamless structure is achieved by developing a layer-bylayer casting process that is suitable for large-scale manufacturing. The proposed wearable seamless multimode sensor and the convenient process are expected to contribute significantly to developing essential components in various emerging research fields, including soft robotics, electronic skin, health care, and innovative sports systems applications. | Lei Wen Meng Nie Pengfan Chen Yu-na Zhao Jingcheng Shen Chongqing Wang Yuwei Xiong Kuibo Yin Litao Sun | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,1: | 1

Use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers increases the risk of postoperative acute kidney injury after elective endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair显示文摘Background: Endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) is the major treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA);however, EVAR still carries a considerable risk of acute kidney injury (AKI). The present study aimed to investigate the risk factors for AKI after elective EVAR procedures. Methods: This was a retrospective observational study. Eligible patients who underwent EVAR from September 2011 to March 2019 in West China Hospital were included. The primary outcome was the occurrence of AKI within two days after EVAR, which was defined by the Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes Clinical Practice Guideline. Demographics, comorbidities, medications, laboratory tests, anatomical parameters of AAA, and relative operative details were collected as variables. Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses were applied to identify the risk factors among variables, and covariate interactions were further assessed. Results: A total of 679 eligible patients were included. The incidence of postoperative AKI was 8.2% (56/679) in the whole cohort, and it was associated with a lower 5-year survival rate (63.5%vs. 80.9%;χ^(2) = 4.10;P = 0.043). The multivariable logistic regression showed that chronic kidney disease (OR, 5.06;95% CI: 1.43-17.95;P = 0.012), angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs)/angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) (OR, 2.60;95% CI: 1.17-5.76;P = 0.019), and short neck (OR, 2.85;95% CI: 1.08-7.52;P = 0.035) were independent risk factors for postoperative AKI. In the covariate interaction analysis, the effect of ACEIs/ARBs use on postoperative AKI was similar across all subgroups (P > 0.05), thereby suggesting a robust effect of ACEIs/ARBs use in all patients undergoing elective endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. Conclusions: Postoperative AKI was associated with lower survival rate, and the use of ACEIs/ARBs was the only adjustable independent risk factor. Clinicians should consider withdrawing ACEIs/ARBs in high-risk patients undergoing elective endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair to prevent postoperative AKI. | Yuwei Xiang Yang Liu Jichun Zhao Bin Huang Zhoupeng Wu Xiyang Chen | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,23: | 1
