| 1 | Generation of rat blood vasculature and hematopoietic cells in rat-mouse chimeras by blastocyst complementation显示文摘Interspecies chimera through blastocyst complementation could be an alternative approach to create human organs in animals by using human pluripotent stem cells.A mismatch of the major histocompatibility complex of vascular endothelial cells between the human and host animal will cause graft rejection in the transplanted organs.Therefore,to achieve a transplantable organ in animals without rejection,creation of vascular endothelial cells derived from humans within the organ is necessary.In this study,to explore whether donor xeno-pluripotent stem cells can compensate for blood vasculature in host animals,we generated rat-mouse chimeras by injection of rat embryonic stem cells(rESCs)into mouse blastocysts with deficiency of Flk-1 protein,which is associated with endothelial and hematopoietic cell development.We found that rESCs could differentiate into vascular endothelial and hematopoietic cells in the rat-mouse chimeras.The whole yolk sac(YS)of Flk-1^EGFP/ECFP rat-mouse chimera was full of rat blood vasculature.Rat genes related to vascular endothelial cells,arteries,and veins,blood vessels formation process,as well as hematopoietic cells,were highly expressed in the YS.Our results suggested that rat vascular endothelial cells could undergo proliferation,migration,and self-assembly to form blood vasculature and that hematopoietic cells could differentiate into B cells,T cells,and myeloid cells in rat-mouse chimeras,which was able to rescue early embryonic lethality caused by Flk-1 deficiency in mouse. | Xiaomin Wang Hui Shi Juanjuan Zhou Qingjian Zou Quanjun Zhang Shixue Gou Pengfei Chen Lisha Mou Nana Fan Yangyang Suo Zhen Ouyang Chengdan Lai Quanmei Yan Liangxue Lai | 2020 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,5: | 2 |

| 6 | A major vernalization-independent QTL for tiller angle on chromosome arm 2BL in bread wheat显示文摘Tiller angle(TA)strongly influences plant architecture and grain yield in cereals.However,the genetic basis of TA in wheat is largely unknown.We identified three TA-related quantitative trait loci(QTL).One of them was QTa.sau-2 B-769,a major QTL localized on chromosome arm 2 BL.QTa.sau-2 B-769 was detected in seven environments,explaining 18.1%–51.1%of phenotypic variance.We developed a linked Kompetitive Allele-Specific Polymerase chain reaction(KASP)marker,KASP-AX-108792274,to further validate this locus in three additional populations in multiple environments.QTa.sau-2 B-769 increased TA by up to 24.9%in these populations.There were significant and positive correlations between TA and flag leaf angle(FLANG).However,TA was not correlated with plant height or anthesis date,suggesting that expression of QTa.sau-2 B-769 is independent of vernalization.Traes CS2 B01 G583800,a gene known to be involved in leaf angle regulation,was identified as the most likely candidate gene for QTa.sau-2 B-769.These results enrich our understanding of the mechanisms regulating wheat TA at maturity and may support precise mapping and cloning of gene(s)underlying QTa.sau-2 B-769. | Jiajun Liu Jieguang Zhou Huaping Tang Yang Tu Yang Mu Lulu Gou Qiantao Jiang Yaxi Liu Guoyue Chen Jirui Wang Pengfei Qi Wei Li Yunfeng Jiang Zehong Yan Houyang Kang Yuming Wei Xiujin Lan Youliang Zheng Jian Ma | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,1: | 0 |

| 9 | Kinetics and mechanism studies on scandium calix[6]arene complex initiating ring-opening polymerization of 2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate显示文摘Scandium p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene complex has been synthesized from scandium isopropoxide and p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene and used as a single component initiator for the first time. The polymerization of 2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate (DTC) using this complex can proceed under mild conditions. Poly (2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate) (PolyDTC) with weight-average molecular weight of 33700 and molecular weight distribution of 1.21 can be prepared.
