2Preparation and Characterization of KNO3/Diatomite Shape-Stabilized Composite Phase Change Material for High Temperature Thermal Energy Storage显示文摘A new potassium nitrate(KNO_3)/diatomite shape-stabilized composite phase change material(SSCPCM) was prepared by the mixing and sintering method. KNO_3 served as the phase change material(PCM) for thermal energy storage, while diatomite acted as the carrier matrix to provide the structural strength and prevent the leakage of PCM. It was found that KNO_3 could be retained 65 wt% into pores and on surfaces of diatomite without the leakage of melted KNO_3 from the SS-CPCM. The calculated filling rate of molten KNO_3 that could enter into the disc-like shape pore of diatomite verified the scanning electronic microscopy images of SS-CPCM. X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results showed that no reaction occurred between KNO_3 and diatomite, performing good compatibility. According to the differential scanning calorimetry results, after 50 thermal cycles, the phase change temperatures for melting and freezing of SS-CPCM with 65 wt% KNO_3 were changed from 330.23 °C and 332.90 °C to330.11 °C and 332.84 °C and corresponding latent heats varied from 60.52 J/g and 47.30 J/g to 54.64 J/g and 41.25 J/g, respectively. 4Effect of laser incident energy on microstructures and mechanical properties of 12CrNi2Y alloy steel by direct laser deposition显示文摘This work aims to establish the effect of laser energy area density(EAD) as the laser incident energy on density, microstructures and mechanical properties of direct laser deposition(DLD) 12CrNi2 Y alloy steel.The results show that the density of DLD 12CrNi2 Y alloy steel increases at initial stage and then decreases with an increase of EAD, the highest density of alloy steel sample is 98.95%. The microstructures of DLD12CrNi2 Y alloy steel samples are composed of bainite, ferrite and carbide. With increase of EAD, the microstructures transform from polygonal ferrite(PF) to granular bainite(GB). The martensite-austenite constituent(M-A) in GB transforms from flake-like paralleling to the bainite ferrite laths to granular morphology. It is also found that the average width of laths in finer GB can be refined from 532 nm to 302 nm, which improves the comprehensive properties of DLD 12 CrNi2 Y alloy steel such as high hardness of 342 ± 9 HV_(0.2), yield strength of 702 ± 16 MPa, tensile strength of 901 ± 14 MPa and large elongation of15.2%±0.6%. 6The Effects of Groundwater Depth on the Soil Evaporation in Horqin Sandy Land, China显示文摘The interactions between groundwater depth and soil hydrological processes, play an important role in both arid and semi-arid ecosystems. The effect of groundwater depth on soil water variations were neglected or not explicitly treated. In this paper, we combine a simulation experiment and a water flow module of HYDRUS-1D model to study the variation in soil evaporation under different groundwater depth conditions and the relationship between groundwater depth and evaporation efficiency in Horqin Sandy Land, China.The results showed that with an increase in groundwater depth, the evaporation of soil and the recharge of groundwater decrease. In this study, the groundwater recharge did not account for more than 21% of the soil evaporation for the depths of groundwater examined. The soil water content at 60 cm was less affected by the evaporation efficiency when the mean groundwater depth was 61 cm during the experimental period. In addition, the evaporation efficiency(the ratio of actual evaporation to potential evaporation) decreases with the increase in groundwater depth during the experiment. 8Top-K Query Framework in Wireless Sensor Networks for Smart Grid显示文摘The smart grid has caught grea attentions in recent years, which is poised to transform a centralized, producer-controlled network to a decentralized, consumerinteractive network that's supported by fine-grained monitoring. Large-scale WSNs(Wireless Sensor Networks) have been considered one of the very promising technologies to support the implementation of smart grid. WSNs are applied in almos every aspect of smart grid, including power generation, power transmission, power distribution, power utilization and power dispatch, and the data query processing of‘WSNs in power grid' become an hotspo issue due to the amount of data of power grid is very large and the requirement of response time is very high. To meet the demands top-k query processing is a good choice which performs the cooperative query by aggregating the database objects' degree of match for each different query predicate and returning the best k matching objects. In this paper, a framework that can effectively apply top-k query to wireless sensor network in smart grid is proposed, which is based on the cluster-topology sensor network. In the new method, local indices are used to optimize the necessary query routing and process intermediate results inside the cluster to cu down the data traffic, and the hierarchical join query is executed based on the local resultsBesides, top-k query results are verified by the clean-up process, and two schemes are taken to deal with the problem of node's dynamicity, which further reduce communication cost. 9Facile synthesis of rutile TiO2/carbon nanosheet composite from MAX phase for lithium storage显示文摘Titanium oxide(TiO2),with excellent cycling stability and low volume expansion,is a promising anode material for lithium-ion battery(LIB),which suffers from low electrical conductivity and poor rate capability.Combining nano-sized TiO2 with conductive materials is proved an efficient method to improve its electrochemical properties.Here,rutile TiO2/carbon nanosheet was obtained by calcinating MAX(Ti3AlC2)and Na2C03 together and water-bathing with HC1.The lamellar carbon atoms in MAX are converted to 2D carbon nanosheets with urchin-like rutile TiO2 anchored on.The unique architecture can offer plentiful active sites,shorten the ion diffusion distance and improve the conductivity.The composite exhibits a high reversible capacity of 247 mA h g^-1,excellent rate performance(38 mA h g^-1 at 50 C)and stable cycling performance(0.014%decay per cycle during 2000 cycles)for lithium storage.Zhaoruxin Guan Xiaoxue Wang Tingting Li Qizhen Zhu Mengqiu Jia Bin Xu 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,9:2

11STX5 Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma Adhesion and Promotes Metastasis by Regulating the PI3K/mTOR Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Syntaxin 5(STX5)is a member of the syntaxin or target-soluble SNAP receptor(t-SNARE)fam-ily and plays a critical role in autophagy.However,its function and molecular mechanism in tumor cell migration are still un-known.The role of STX5 in influencing hepatocellular carci-noma(HCC)is an important topic in our research.Methods:By using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blotting,and immunohistochemical analysis of RNA and protein in tissues,we comprehensively evaluated data sets from public databases and clinical patient cohorts for STX5.The correlation of STX5 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics of HCC patients were assessed.In addition,we predicted signal pathways from dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and confirmed the prediction using integrated transcriptome and RNA-seq.We further investi-gated the underlying mechanisms of STX5 in the migration and adhesion of HCC cells both in vitro and in vivo.Results:In the TCGA dataset and our patient cohort,STX5 levels were significantly higher in HCC tissues than in adjacent normal liver tissues.At the same time,high expression of STX5 pre-dicted worse prognosis in patients with liver cancer.High ex-pression of STX5 indicates the decrease of adhesion and the increase of migration of HCC cells,and the conversion of epi-thelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in vitro via PI3K/mTOR pathway activation.Conversely,when Sirolimus,a phospho-inositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/AKT/mechanistic target of rapa-mycin(mTOR)inhibitor acts on cells simultaneously,STX5 overexpression-mediated enhancement of HCC metastasis is reversed.Double-negative regulation of STX5 and mTOR further enhanced the inhibitory effect of STX5 on HCC me-tastasis.In vivo,STX5 knockdown inhibited the metastasis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Our study demonstrates a novel research result that STX5 promotes HCC metastasis through PI3K/mTOR pathway.We believe that combined inhibition of STX5 and mTOR is a potential treatment for effectively pro-longing patient survival and inhibiting HCC metastasis.Bin Zhang Ziyin Zhao Youpeng Wang Tingting Guo Mingyang He Ge Guan Pai Peng Jinzhen Cai Bingyuan Zhang Xutao Liu Qiaoling Song 2023Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3:1

15hNUDT16:a universal decapping enzyme for small nucleolar RNA and cytoplasmic mRNA显示文摘Human NUDT16(hNUDT16)is a decapping enzyme initially identified as the human homolog to the Xenopus laevis X29.As a metalloenzyme,hNUDT16 relies on divalent cations for its cap-hydrolysis activity to remove m7 GDP and m227GDP from RNAs.Metal also determines substrate specificity of the enzyme.So far,only U8 small nucleolar RNA(snoRNA)has been identified as the substrate of hNUDT16 in the presence of Mg2+.Here we demonstrate that besides U8,hNUDT16 can also actively cleave the m7 GDP cap from mRNAs in the presence of Mg2+or Mn2+.We further show that hNUDT16 does not preferentially recognize U8 or mRNA substrates by our cross-inhibition and quantitative decapping assays.In addition,our mutagenesis analysis identifies several key residues involved in hydrolysis and confirms the key role of the REXXEE motif in catalysis.Finally an investigation into the subcellular localization of hNUDT16 revealed its abundance in both cytoplasm and nucleus.These findings extend the substrate spectrum of hNUDT16 beyond snoRNAs to also include mRNA,demonstrating the pleiotropic decapping activity of hNUDT16.Guangwen Lu Jie Zhang Yan Li Zhixin Li Na Zhang Xiang Xu Tingting Wang Zhenhong Guan George F.Gao Jinghua Yan 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,1:1
16Predictors of pathologic complete response in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer显示文摘Objective:The accurate prediction of tumor response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(nCRT)remains challenging.Few studies have investigated pathologic complete response(ypCR)prediction in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after treatment.This study aimed to identify variables for predicting ypCR in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT for locally advanced rectal cancer(LARC).Methods:Data of patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT who underwent radical resection between 2009 and 2015 were retrospectively collected from the LARC database at Peking University Cancer Hospital.Univariate and multivariate analyses of the association between clinicopathological factors and ypCR were performed,and a nomogram was constructed by incorporating the significant predictors.Results:Of the 246 patients with residual flat mucosal lesions included in the final analysis,56(22.8%)had ypCR.Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that pretreatment cT stage(pre-cT)≤T2(P=0.016),magnetic resonance tumor regression grade(MR-TRG)1-3(P=0.001)and residual mucosal lesion depth=0 mm(P<0.001)were associated with a higher rate of ypCR.A nomogram was developed with a concordance index(C-index)of0.759 and the calibration curve showed that the nomogram model had good predictive consistency.The follow-up time ranged from 3.0 to 113.3 months,with a median follow-up time of 63.77 months.The multivariate Cox regression model showed that the four variables in the nomogram model were not risk factors for disease-free survival(DFS)or overall survival(OS).Conclusions:Completely flat mucosa,early cT stage and good MR-TRG were predictive factors for ypCR instead of DFS or OS in patients with LARC with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT.Endoscopic mucosal re-evaluation before surgery is important,as it may contribute to decision-making and facilitate nonoperative management or organ preservation.Changlong Li Zhen Guan Yi Zhao Tingting Sun Zhongwu Li Weihu Wang Zhexuan Li Lin Wang Aiwen Wu 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,4:1

18Research on Friction Properties of Mineral Lubricants in Thin-Film-Lubricating Regime显示文摘On the basis of thin film lubrication theory, the influence of fluid film(disordered film), ordered film and adsorbed film on tribological behavior of lubricating oil in thin-film lubrication(TFL) regime was studied. The μ-L(friction coefficient versus load) curves of different oil viscosity and additive dosage were obtained by a high frequency reciprocating test rig and the adsorption capacity of additive on steel surface were measured by QCM-D. Based on the Stribeck curve and thin film lubrication theory model, some conclusions can be drawn up, namely:(1) The μ-L curves and the parameters of L0 and μ0, obtained from the high frequency reciprocating test rig with ball-disc contact, can be used to study tribological behaviors of lubricating oil under TFL conditions.(2) In comparison with the high viscosity base fluid, the lower one can enter into TFL regime under lower load and keeps a lower friction coefficient in TFL regime.(3) The polar molecules in additive formulation produce ordered adsorbed layer on steel surface to reduce friction coefficient. And in TFL regime, the molecule's polarity, layer thickness and saturation degree on steel surface probably can influence lubricant's tribological behaviors between the moving interfaces.
