Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders:executive summary and 2019 update of the management of high-risk population显示文摘Aim Cerebrovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disability in China, causing a huge burden among patients and their families.Hence, stroke prevention is critical, especially in the high-risk population. Here,we present the evidence-based guideline suitable for the Chinese population. Methods Literature search of PubMed and Cochrane library(from January 1964 to June 2019)was done. After thorough discussion among the writing group members, recommendations were listed and summarised. This guideline was reviewed and discussed by the fellow writing committees of the Chinese Stroke Association’s Stroke. Results This evidence-based guideline was written in three parts:controlling the risk factors of stroke, utilisation of antiplatelet agents and assessing the risks of first-ever stroke. All recommendations were listed along with the recommending classes and levels of evidence. Conclusions This guideline provides recommendations for primary prevention of cerebrovascular disease among high-risk population in China.Controlling related risk factors, appropriately using antiplatelet agents, assessing the risk of developing first-ever stroke should help reduce the rate of cerebrovascular disease in China.Yilong Wang Shangrong Han Haiqiang Qin Huaguang Zheng Bin Jiang Yong Cao Yuan Gao Ling Guan Qian Jia Yong Jiang Yuming Jiao Shuya Li Yapeng Li Zixiao Li Wei Liu Xiaojuan Ru Dongling Sun Haixin Sun Penglian Wang Tingting Wang Lixia Zong Lei Guo Xuewei Xie Yuming Xu Yuyuan Xu Xiaomeng Yang Yingying Yang Mengyuan Zhou Wenzhi Wang Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council Guideline Writing Committee 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,3:11
Clopidogrel with aspirin in High- risk patients with Acute Non- disabling Cerebrovascular Events II (CHANCE-2): rationale and design of a multicentre randomised trial显示文摘Background In patients with a minor ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack(TIA),separate trials have shown that dual antiplatelet therapy with clopidogrel plus aspirin(clopidogrel-aspirin)or ticagrelor plus aspirin(ticagrelor-aspirin)are more effective than aspirin alone in stroke secondary prevention. However, these two sets of combination have not been directly compared.Since clopidogrel was less effective in stroke patients who were CYP2C19 loss-of function(LOF)allele carriers, whether ticagrelor-aspirin is clinically superior to clopidogrel-aspirin in this subgroup of patients with stroke is unclear.Aim To describe the rationale and design considerations of the Clopidogrel in High-risk patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE-2)trial.Design CHANCE-2 is a randomised,double-blind,double-dummy,placebo-controlled,multicentre trial that compares two dual antiplatelet strategies for minor stroke or TIA patients who are CYP2C19 LOF allele carriers:ticagrelor(180 mg loading dose on day 1 followed by 90 mg twice daily on days 2-90)or clopidogrel(300 mg loading dose on day 1 followed by 75 mg daily on days 2-90),plus open-label aspirin with a dose of 75-300 mg on day 1 followed by 75 mg daily on day 2-21.All will be followed for 1 year.Study outcomes The primary efficacy outcome is any stroke(ischaemic or haemorrhagic)within 3 months and the primary safety outcome is any severe or moderate bleeding event within 3 months.Discussion The CHANCE-2 trial will evaluate whether ticagrelor-aspirin is superior to clopidogrel-aspirin for minor stroke or TIA patients who are CYP2C19 LOF allele carriers.Yongjun Wang Claiborne Johnston Philip M Bath Xia Meng Jing Jing Xuewei Xie Anxin Wang Yuesong Pan Anding Xu Qiang Dong Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Zixiao Li Hao Li 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:10
Dual antiplatelet therapy may increase the risk of non-intracranial haemorrhage in patients with minor strokes: a subgroup analysis of the CHANCE trial显示文摘Aim:The aim of this study was to explore the difference between haemorrhagic events among those patients on either aspirin or aspirin plus clopidogrel who were enrolled in the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Non-disabling Ischemic Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)trial. Methods:This was an ad hoc analysis of the CHANCE trial;data on all patients with any haemorrhagic event were reviewed and analysed.Cox proportional hazards regression was used to determine factors association with any bleeding. Results:In the CHANCE trial, there were a total of 101(2%)haemorrhagic events reported from 50 different hospitals. The clopidogrel–aspirin group had 60(2.3%)cases and the aspirin group had 41(1.6%,p=0.09).Moderate or severe haemorrhagic events occurred in 7 patients(0.3%)in the clopidogrel–aspirin group and in 8(0.3%)in the aspirin group(p=0.73).Of 36(0.7%)cases of intracranial haemorrhages,20(0.4%)were in the clopidogrel–aspirin group and 16(0.3%)in the aspirin group. Each group had 8(0.3%)cases of symptomatic haemorrhagic strokes.Other common haemorrhagic events included 24(0.5%)cases of skin bruises,13(0.3%)gastrointestinal haemorrhages,9(0.2%)gum haemorrhages and 8(0.2%)intraocular haemorrhages. Conclusions:There was no overall significant difference in haemorrhagic events(p=0.29),especially in the rate of intracranial haemorrhages between the 2 treatment groups. However, patients enrolled with minor strokes had an increased risk of haemorrhagic events regardless of treatment group, not seen in patients with high-risk transient ischaemic attacks.Being elderly,of male gender and with a history of aspirin or proton pump inhibitor usage were associated with increased risk of haemorrhage.Patients with higher body mass index had lower risk of haemorrhagic events.David Wang Li Gui Yi Dong Hao Li Shujuan Li Huaguang Zheng Anxin Wang Xia Meng Li-Ping Liu Yi-Long Wang Guangyao Wang Jing Jing Zixiao Li Xing-Quan Zhao Yong-Jun Wang on behalf of the investigators for the CHANCE trial 2016Stroke & Vascular Neurology2016,1,2:8
The origin, diversification and adaptation of a major mangrove clade (Rhizophoreae) revealed by whole-genome sequencing显示文摘Mangroves invade some very marginal habitats for woody plants—at the interface between land and sea.Since mangroves anchor tropical coastal communities globally, their origin, diversification and adaptation are of scientific significance, particularly at a time of global climate change. In this study, a combination of single-molecule long reads and the more conventional short reads are generated from Rhizophora apiculata for the de novo assembly of its genome to a near chromosome level. The longest scaffold, N50 and N90 for the R. apiculata genome, are 13.3 Mb, 5.4 Mb and 1.0 Mb, respectively. Short reads for the genomes and transcriptomes of eight related species are also generated. We find that the ancestor of Rhizophoreae experienced a whole-genome duplication ~70 Myrs ago, which is followed rather quickly by colonization and species diversification. Mangroves exhibit pan-exome modifications of amino acid(AA) usage as well as unusual AA substitutions among closely related species. The usage and substitution of AAs, unique among plants surveyed, is correlated with the rapid evolution of proteins in mangroves. A small subset of these substitutions is associated with mangroves' highly specialized traits(vivipary and red bark) thought to be adaptive in the intertidal habitats. Despite the many adaptive features, mangroves are among the least genetically diverse plants, likely the result of continual habitat turnovers caused by repeated rises and falls of sea level in the geologically recent past. Mangrove genomes thus inform about their past evolutionary success as well as portend a possibly difficult future.Shaohua Xu Ziwen He Zhang Zhang Zixiao Guo Wuxia Guo Haomin Lyu Jianfang Li Ming Yang Zhenglin Du Yelin Huang Renchao Zhou Cairong Zhong David E. 6Predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China:findings from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance(CSCA)显示文摘Background and purpose Guidelines recommend dysphagia screening to identify those at high risk of pneumonia. However, little is known about the prevalence and predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China. Methods Using data from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance, which is a multicentre, prospective, consecutive patient enrolment programme, univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify patient and hospital characteristics associated with dysphagia screening and pneumonia during acute hospitalisation. Results Of 790811 patients admitted to 1476 hospitals,622718(78.7%)underwent dysphagia screening, and 64398(8.1%)developed pneumonia.Patients in stroke units were more likely to be screened for dysphagia than those not in stroke units(OR 1.50;95%CI 1.48 to 1.52),while patients with a past history of stroke were less likely to be screened(OR 0.87;95%CI 0.86 to 0.88).Dysphagia screening(OR 1.46;95%CI 1.30 to 1.65),dysphagia(OR 7.31;95%CI 7.15 to 7.46),and admission to stroke units(OR 1.17;95%CI 1.14 to 1.19)were significantly associated with a greater risk of pneumonia. Conclusions Dysphagia was a critical factor in the development of pneumonia.Nearly one in five patients with acute ischaemic stroke in the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance were not screened for dysphagia.Pneumonia prevention during acute hospitalisation is dependent not only on dysphagia screening but also on the effectiveness of subsequent dysphagia management interventions.Further studies are needed to elucidate the relationship between dysphagia screening, stroke unit care and pneumonia in patients with acute ischaemic stroke.Jianshu Liang Zhike Yin Zixiao Li Hongqiu Gu Kaixuan Yang Yunyun Xiong Yongjun Wang Chunjuan Wang 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4:5
The efficacy and safety of nimodipine in acute ischemic stroke patients with mild cognitive impairment: a double-blind, randomized,placebo-controlled trial显示文摘Nimodipine might be effective in subcortical vascular dementia(VaD). Its benefit in preventing further cognitive decline in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS) and vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI) remains to be established. In this multicenter, double-blind trial, we randomly assigned 654 eligible patients to nimodipine 30 mg three times a day or placebo. The primary outcome was any cognitive decline defined by the changes on the Mini-Mental State Examination(DMMSE à3) or vascular AD assessment scale cognitive subscale(DADAS-cog ! 4) at 6 months. Secondary outcomes included any distribution shift of DADAS-cog, DMMSE or cognitive improvement defined by DADAS-cog à2, or DMMSE ! 0. The primary outcome in the nimodipine group and placebo group were similar for DMMSE à3(4.18% and 7.22%, respectively, P = 0.15) and DADAS-cog ! 4(8.36% and 8.93% respectively,P = 0.88). The distribution shift of DADAS-cog and DMMSE differed significantly between the two groups(P = 0.03 and P = 0.05 respectively). Cognitive improvement occurred in 55.4% in the nimodipine group and 43.6% in the placebo group measured by DADAS-cog à2(Odds Ratio, 1.54; 95% confidence interval[CI] 1.10–2.14, P < 0.01) or 84.0% and 74.6% respectively by DMMSE ! 0(Odds Ratio, 1.79; 95% CI 1.18–2.70, P < 0.01). Nimodipine was associated with better cognitive function in the memory domain. The adverse events rate was similar in two groups. This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov,NCT01220622. Nimodipine did not show benefit to prevent cognitive decline in AIS patients with VaMCI, but improved cognition moderately, especially measured in the memory domain.Huaguang Zheng Yilong Wang Anxin Wang Hao Li David Wang Xingquan Zhao Penglian Wang Haipeng Shen Lijun Zuo Yuesong Pan Zixiao Li Xia Meng Xianwei Wang Weixiong Shi Yi Ju Liping Liu Kehui Dong Chunxue Wang Rubo Sui Rong Xue Xiaoping Pan Xiaoyua Niu Benyan Luo Yi Sui Huali Wang Tao Feng Yongjun Wang 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,2:5

Management characteristics and prognosis after stroke in China:findings from a large nationwide stroke registry显示文摘Background and purpose There is limited nationwide evidence about the standard management characteristics of stroke types and prognosis in China. This study aimed to assess clinical characteristics,in-hospital and after-discharge management characteristics and prognosis for stroke types in China. Methods A nationwide registry recruited 14244 imaging-confirmed first-ever incident strokes from 132 hospitals across 31 provinces of China during 2007-2008,recording presenting characteristics, diagnostic procedures and in-hospital treatment. After hospital discharge, patients were followed up for 6 months.Conventional statistical methods were used to examine the patterns of management and prognosis. Results Overall,68.7%,26.9%and 4.4%were ischaemic stroke(IS),intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH),and subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH),respectively.Only 20%were managed in a dedicated stroke unit.Among IS,1.3%received thrombolysis within 3 hours after symptom onset, whereas the proportions of receiving in-hospital antiplatelet therapy, neuroprotective agents and traditional Chinese medicines(TCM)were 88.4%,69.7%and 70.6%,respectively.For ICH,63.3%and 36.3%received neuroprotective agents and TCM in hospital, respectively. At discharge,70.7%and 38.0%of the patients with IS were given antiplatelet and statin therapies, respectively, decreasing to 64.8%and 23.9%,respectively,at 6 months.In-hospital mortality was 3.2%,9.3%and 10.1%for IS,ICH and SAH,respectively, with a further 8.6%,18.2%and 22.0%,respectively,died by 6 month.Meanwhile,in-hospital recurrence rate was 2.6%,1.9%and 7.2%for IS,ICH and SAH,respectively, with a further 8.0%,5.1%and 7.5%,respectively,recurred by 6 month. Conclusions In China, the mortality rate of stroke is lower than that reported from west populations, though most strokes are not managed in specialised stroke unit. There is widespread use of some unproven therapies but limited proven treatments, especially after discharge, leading to unnecessary recurrent risks.Haiqiang Qin Yiping Chen Gaifen Liu Iain Turnbull Runhua Zhang Zixiao Li Yilong Wang Liping Liu Xingquan Zhao Zhengming Chen Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:3
Providing uninterrupted care during COVID-19 pandemic: experience from Beijing Tiantan Hospital显示文摘background The COVID-19 pandemic has already stressed the healthcare system in the world. Many hospitals have been overwhelmed by the large number of patients with COVID-19.Due to the shortage of equipment and personnel and the highly contagious nature of COVID-19,many other healthcare services are on hold. However,at Beijing Tiantan Hospital,a rapid response system has been in place so that routine care is not interrupted. We,therefore, would like to share our hospital-wide prevention and management policy during this pandemic to help other healthcare systems to function in this crisis.Method Tiantan hospital is one of the leading neuroscience institutions in the world. With 1650 beds, its annual inpatient admission exceeds 30000 patients. Its COVID-19 rapid response policy was reviewed for its functionality.results There are nine key components of this policy:an incident management system;a comprehensive infection prevention and control, outpatient triage and flow system;a designated fever clinic;patient screening and administration;optimised surgical operations, enhanced nucleic acid testing;screening of returning employees;and a supervision and feedback system. In addition,a specific protocol was designed for treating patients with acute stroke. Conclusion A comprehensive policy is helpful to protect the employee from infection and to provide quality and uninterrupted care to all who need these, including patients with acute ischaemic stroke.Xiaoyan Wang Yu Chen Zixiao Li David Wang Yongjun Wang 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2:1

Somatic mutation contributing to clonal haematopoiesis is a risk factor of recurrent stroke in first-ever acute ischaemic stroke:a prospective cohort study显示文摘Background Somatic mutation contributes to clonal haematopoiesis of indeterminate potential(CHIP)is related to age and associated with a higher risk of stroke and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Here,we investigated the prognostic significance of CHIP in a large first-ever acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)cohort and explored the underlying mechanisms. Methods We studied a prospective cohort of 6016 patients who had a first-ever AIS in China.Whole-genome sequencing was performed to identify CHIP.High-sensitivity C reactive protein(hs-CRP)levels above 3 mg/L at baseline were defined as hyperinflammation.Recurrent stroke during the 3-month follow-up was the primary outcome. Results Among the 6016 patients who had a first-ever AIS,with a median age was 62 years(IQR,54.0‒70.0),3.70%were identified as CHIP carriers. The most common mutations occurred in the DNMT3A(30.0%)and TET2(11.4%)genes.During a follow-up of 3 months, the presence of CHIP was associated with recurrent stroke(HR 1.62,95%CI 1.04 to 2.51,p=0.03),recurrent ischaemic stroke(HR 1.64,95%CI 1.04 to 2.58,p=0.03)and combined vascular events(HR 1.58,95%CI 1.02 to 2.44,p=0.04)after adjusting for hsCRP levels at baseline in patients who had a first-ever AIS.Subgroup analysis demonstrated that CHIP was only associated with recurrent stroke when patients under hyperinflammation(OR 3.10,95%CI 1.92 to 5.00,p<0.001)but not in those without hyperinflammation(OR 0.18,95%CI 0.03 to 1.04,p=0.06,Pinteraction=0.002).Conclusion Our results suggest that somatic mutations contributing to CHIP increase the risk of short-term recurrent stroke in patients who had a first-ever AIS.Hyperinflammation may be important in the relationship between CHIP and recurrent stroke.Xin Qiu Yalun Dai Si Cheng Hong-Qiu Gu Yong Jiang Xia Meng Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Yingyu Jiang Zhe Xu Xinying Huang Meng Wang Tian Jie Lyu Yubo Wang Jiaxu Weng Lingyun Cui Yi Shangguan Hao Li Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,2:1
Microsurgical treatment of posterior inferior cerebellar aneurysms based on angioarchitecture supplemented by high-resolution vessel wall MRI:a case series report显示文摘Background Surgical treatment of posterior inferior cerebellar artery(PICA)aneurysms is challenging because many are nonsaccular and atherosclerotic. We report our tailored approach to PICA aneurysms, which is based on angioarchitecture supplemented by high-resolution vessel wall MRI(HR-VW MRI)findings. Methods From March 2010 to September 2020,27 patients with 29 PICA aneurysms underwent surgical treatment in our institution.Since October 2016,HR-VW MRI has been used for aneurysmal wall assessment.Clinical characteristics, radiological data and surgical outcomes were analysed. Results Nineteen proximal PICA aneurysms(vertebral artery(VA),P1,P2 and P3)were treated using the far-lateral approach.Ten distal PICA aneurysms(P4,P5)were treated using the suboccipital midline approach.Direct clipping or clip reconstruction was achieved in 19 aneurysms.Ten were trapped in conjunction with extracranial-intracranial or intracranial-intracranial bypass, including three occipital artery-PICA reimplantations, three PICA-VA reimplantations, two PICA-PICA side-to side anastomoses, one PICA-PICA reimplantation and one PICA-PICA reanastomosis. All aneurysms were eventually completely obliterated and all bypasses remained patent. At the last follow-up,26 patients(96.2%)achieved a good outcome(modified Rankin Scale score<3).Eight patients underwent HR-VW MRI.Among these, the six aneurysms with focal wall enhancement required bypass and the two with negative enhancement were successfully clipped. Conclusion PICA aneurysms have a higher frequency of complex features such as large or giant size and fusiform or dissecting morphology.Favourable outcomes were achieved with individualised microsurgical strategies based on angioarchitecture.HR-VW MRI may be used as a promising technique to predict aneurysmal atherosclerosis.Zixiao Yang Jianping Song Kai Quan Peiliang Li Qingzhu An Yuan Shi Peixi Liu Guo Yu Yanlong Tian Liangfu Zhou Wei Zhu 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4:1

Temporal trends and rural-urban disparities in cerebrovascular risk factors,in-hospital management and outcomes in ischaemic strokes in China from 2005 to 2015:a nationwide serial cross-sectional survey显示文摘Background Stroke is the leading cause of mortality in China, with limited evidence of in-hospital burden obtained from nationwide surveys. We aimed to monitor and track the temporal trends and rural-urban disparities in cerebrovascular risk factors, management and outcomes from 2005 to 2015.Methods We used a two-stage random sampling survey to create a nationally representative sample of patients admitted for ischaemic stroke in 2005,2010 and 2015.We sampled participating hospitals with an economic-geographical region-stratified random-sampling approach first and then obtained patients with a systematic sampling approach. We weighed our survey data to estimate the national-level results and assess changes from 2005 to 2015.Results We analysed 28277 ischaemic stroke admissions from 189 participating hospitals. From 2005 to 2015,the estimated national hospital admission rate for ischaemic stroke per 100000 people increased(from 75.9 to 402.7,Ptrend<0.001),and the prevalence of risk factors, including hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidaemia and current smoking, increased. The composite score of diagnostic tests for stroke aetiology assessment(from 0.22 to 0.36,Ptrend<0.001)and secondary prevention treatments(from 0.46 to 0.70,Ptrend<0.001)were improved.A temporal decrease was found in discharge against medical advice(DAMA)(from 15.2%(95%CI 13.7%to 16.7%)to 8.6%(8.1%to 9.0%);adjusted Ptrend=0.046),and decreases in in-hospital mortality(0.7%in 2015 vs 1.8%in 2005;adjusted OR(aOR)0.52;95%CI 0.32 to 0.85)and the composite outcome of in-hospital mortality or DAMA(8.4%in 2015 vs 13.9%in 2005;aOR 0.65;95%CI 0.47 to 0.89)were observed.Disparities between rural and urban hospitals narrowed;however, disparities persisted in in-hospital management(brain MRI:rural-urban difference from−14.4%to−11.2%;cerebrovascular assessment:from−20.3%to−16.7%;clopidogrel:from−2.1%to−10.3%;anticoagulant for atrial fibrillation:from−10.9%to−8.2%)and in-hospital outcomes(DAMA:from 2.7%to 5.0%;composite outcome of in-hospital mortality or DAMA:from 2.4%to 4.6%).Conclusions From 2005 to 2015,improvements in hospital admission and in-hospital management for ischaemic stroke in China were found.A temporal improvement in DAMA and improvements in in-hospital mortality and the composite outcome of in-hospital mortality or DAMA were observed.Disparities between rural and urban hospitals generally narrowed but persisted.Chun-Juan Wang Hong-Qiu Gu Xin-Miao Zhang Yong Jiang Hao Li Janet Prvu Bettger Xia Meng Ke-Hui Dong Run-Qi Wangqin Xin Yang Meng Wang Chelsea Liu Li-Ping Liu Bei-Sha Tang Guo-Zhong Li Yu-Ming Xu Zhi-Yi He Yi Yang Winnie Yip Gregg C Fonarow Lee H Schwamm Ying Xian Xing-Quan Zhao Yi-Long Wang Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,1:0
Low LDL-C level and intracranial haemorrhage risk after ischaemic stroke:a prospective cohort study显示文摘Background and purpose The Treat Stroke to Target trial has confirmed the benefit of targeting low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)of<1.8 mmol/L in patients who had an ischaemic stroke(IS).However, haemorrhagic risk brought by this target level(<1.8 mmol/L)or even lower level(<1.4 mmol/L)of LDL-C should also be concerned. In this study,we aimed to demonstrate whether low LDL-C could increase the intracranial haemorrhage risk following IS.Methods Patients who had an IS from China Stroke Center Alliance programme with complete baseline information were prospectively enrolled.793572 patients who had an IS were categorised into 6 groups according to LDL-C level(<1.40 mmol/L,1.40-1.79 mmol/L,1.80-2.59 mmol/L,2.60-2.99 mmol/L,3.00-4.89 mmol/L,≥4.90 mmol/L).The study outcome was defined as intracranial haemorrhage identified during hospitalisation.Logistic regression model was used to examine the association between different LDL-C levels and risk of intracranial haemorrhage. Results Compared with patients of LDL-C=1.80-2.59 mmol/L,both subgroups of LDL-C<1.40 mmol/L and LDL-C=1.40-1.79 mmol/L showed significantly higher risk of intracranial haemorrhage(OR=1.26,95%CI=1.18 to 1.35;OR=1.22,95%CI=1.14 to 1.30,respectively).Interaction effect was found to exist between the subgroups of intravenous thrombolytic therapy(p=0.04),rather than the subgroups of age,sex and body mass index. Moreover, the sensitivity analyses indicated that even patients who had an IS with minor stroke still suffered from the increased intracranial haemorrhage risk related to low LDL-C level. Conclusions Among patients who had an IS,the low LDL-C level(<1.4 mmol/L or<1.8 mmol/L)at baseline is associated with increased risk of intracranial haemorrhage during acute stage. While actively lowering LDL-C level for patients who had an IS,clinicians should also concern about the haemorrhagic risk associated with low LDL-C level.Jie Xu Zimo Chen Meng Wang Jinglin Mo Jing Jing Gulbahram Yalkun Liye Dai Xia Meng Hao Li Zixiao Li Yongjun Wang 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,2:0
An Improved Method for Evaluating Hydrocarbon Generation of Shale:A Case Study of the Lower Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation Shale in the Songliao Basin显示文摘Because of the influence of hydrocarbons, especially adsorbed hydrocarbons,on the detection of cracked hydrocarbon(S2)and total organic carbon(TOC),the hydrogen index(HI)-based hydrocarbon generation model deviates from actual practice. In this study, the shale in the first member of the Qingshankou Formation in the central depression of the Songliao Basin, where in northeastern China, was taken as the research object and a correction method for S2 and TOC was established.By correcting the experimental results of different maturity samples, the actual hydrocarbon generation model has been revealed, the differences before and after correction compared, and the evolutionary characteristics of the adsorbed hydrocarbon content were clarified. The results show that the organic matter enters the hydrocarbon generation threshold at R_(o)-0.5% and reaches the hydrocarbon generation peak at R_(o)-1.0% and that the hydrocarbon generation process ends at R_(o)-1.3%.The hydrocarbon generation model established based on the measured values has a‘lag effect’compared to actual values, and this extends the hydrocarbon generation window of organic matter and delays the hydrocarbon generation peak. With the increase of maturity, adsorbed hydrocarbon content shows the characteristics of‘first increasing, then stabilizing, and then decreasing’,and reache s the most abundant stage at Roof 0.9%-1.3%.ZHANG Yuchen WANG Min LI Jinbu ZHAO Chen YAN Yu XU Liang DENG Zixiao 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,6:0
Detecting benign uterine tumors by autofuorescence lifetime imaging microscopy through adjacent healthy cervical tissues显示文摘The endogenous fluorophores such as reduced nicotinarmide adenine dinucleotide(phosphate)(NAD(P)H)and favin adenine dinucleotide(FAD)in cells and tissues can be imaged by fuo-rescence lifetime imaging microscopy(FLIM)to show the tisute morphology features,as well as the biomolecular changes in microenvironment. The two important coenzymes in cellular metabolism,NAD(P)H and FAD,can be used to monitor the cellular metabolic status. This work proposed a novel method to study the uterine metabolism at the adjacent site of healthy cervix. It was found that the benign uterine tumors such as leiomyomas and adenomyosis with abnormal cell growth can be detected by measuring the fluorescence lifetime of NAD(P)H and FAD in adjacent healthy cervical tisues. This method opened a novel strategy for alicted women to undergo the cervical biopsies instead of hysterectomies for detecting tumors, which can preserve the fertility of patients. The FLIM studying on NAD(P)H and FAD indicated the correlation between metabolism and some diseases, including diabetes, hyperthyroidism and obesity. It was also suggested that the metabolic level might be quite different for a patient with a malignant tumnor history.Maojia Huang Zixiao Zhang Xinyi Wang Yonghui Xie Yiyan Fei Jiong Ma Jing Wang Li Chen Lan Mi Yulan Wang 2019Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2019,,5:0
Controlled synthesis of hierarchically-structured MnCo_2O_4 and its potential as a high performance anode material显示文摘To satisfy the upsurging demand for energy storage in modern society, anode materials which can deliver high capacity have been intensively researched for the next generation lithium ion batteries.Typically, the binary MnCo_2O_4 with a characteristic coupled metal cations showed promising potential due to its high theoretical capacity and low cost. Here,by means of a well-designed synthesis control,we demonstrated a scalable process to achieve a hierarchical structure of MnCo_2O_4,which existed as uniform microspheres with embedded mesopores, showing favorable structural characters for high performance during a fast charge/discharge process. Our synthesis highlighted the importance of sodium salicylate as an essential additive to control the precipitation of the two involved metal cations. It was proved that a dual role was played sodium salicylate which cannot only facilitate the formation of microspheric shape, but also act as an effective precursor for the creation of inner mesopores. We confirmed that the hierarchically-structured MnCo_2O_4 showed outstanding performance when it was tested as an anode material in lithium ion batteries as revealed by its extraordinary cycling stability and high rate capability.Zixiao Wu Fuhai Li Yonggang Sun Deshan Bin Junyu Piao Xijie Lin Xiaochan Liu Anmin Cao Li-Jun Wan 2017Science China Chemistry2017,60,9:0
