3Factors that contribute to poor adherence to statin therapy in coronary heart disease patients from Chongqing and measures to improve their therapeutic outcomes显示文摘To assess the efficacy and short-term outcomes of adherence to statin therapy among coronary heart disease(CHD)patients following their hospital discharge,we enrolled 615 CHD patients who were prescribed statins from The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University in China between February 1st and October 31st of 2013.Statin adherence was evaluated by identifying the proportion of patients who remained adherent or became non-adherent to statin therapy over 4e8 months post-discharge from the hospital.The composite outcomes included all-cause mortality and re-hospitalization with cardiovascular disease.We found that 15.9%patients were non-adherent to their statin therapies and that coronary artery stenosis<75%(OR Z 3.433,95%CI:2.191e5.380,p<0.001)and adverse effects(OR Z 2.542,95%CI:1.327e4.869,p Z 0.005)both clearly contributed to poor adherence.The primary self-reported reasons for non-adherence included a lack of knowledge about the benefits of statin therapy(36.7%),the treatment being halted at the advice of their doctor(19.4%),and the difficulty in obtaining statins(12.2%).Non-adherence to statin therapy was significantly associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events(OR Z 1.741,95%CI:1.035e2.929,p Z 0.037).In conclusion,CHD patients with moderate stenosis or adverse effects tended to have poor statin adherence,and this was significantly associated with increased cardiovascular events.We should strengthen education of the importance of statin therapy for both patients and doctors and facilitate the ability of patients to obtain their statin medication.Guiquan Yu Yingjiao Zhang Ying Wang Guanglei Chang Hongmei Tao Dongying Zhang 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,4:8
4Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 5Macroscopic electromagnetic synergy network-enhanced N-doped Ni/C gigahertz microwave absorber with regulable microtopography显示文摘To achieve excellent electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption properties,the microstructure design of the absorber is critical.In this work,six kinds of N-Ni/C nanostructures with different morphologies were prepared by one-step hydrothermal method and high temperature carbonization by adjusting the types of nickel salts and reaction solvents.The EMW absorption performance of six different morphologies of N-Ni/C nanostructures was compared and analyzed.Among them,it is found that the nanoflowerlike N-Ni/C composite has excellent dielectric loss and magnetic loss synergistic effect due to its polycrystalline structure,and can obtain excellent EMW absorption performance.The minimum reflection loss value at a thickness of 1.9 mm is-59.56 dB at 16.88 GHz,and the effective absorption bandwidth value reaches 6.0 GHz at a thickness of 2.2 mm.Our research shows that different morphologies and multiple lattice structures of nanostructures with the same composition have a significant influence on EMW absorption performance,which provides new research ideas for developing high-performance EMW absorbing materials.Yuelei Pan Qianqian Zhu Jiahui Zhu Yuhang Cheng Bowen Yu Zirui Jia Guanglei Wu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:5
6Tunable Co/ZnO/C@MWCNTs based on carbon nanotube-coated MOF with excellent microwave absorption properties显示文摘The development of global information technology makes human life intelligent,and the large-scale use of various electronic devices increases the electromagnetic radiation in the surrounding environment.This has created a requirement for the development of high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers to eliminate electromagnetic pollution.However,the preparation of electromagnetic wave absorbers with excellent electromagnetic loss capability remains a great challenge.Here,we present a method to prepare Co/ZnO/C@MWCNTs(CZC@M)composites by pyrolysis of ZnCo-MOF@MWCNTs(MOF@M).Specifically,MWCNTs are uniformly distributed on the CZC surface to form multiple heterogeneous interfaces,which will lead to an increase in polarizability.In addition,changing the amounts of MWCNTs in the composite can modulate its dielectric constant and impedance matching properties.Impressively,at only 10%sample content,the minimum reflection loss of-41.75 d B and the maximum effective absorption bandwidth of 4.72 GHz are obtained at thicknesses of 2.4 mm and 2.2 mm,respectively.Overall,the results reported in this work provide a new design strategy for the synthesis of high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers with potential applications in the elimination of electromagnetic pollution.Zirui Jia Mingyue Kong Bowen Yu Yingzhuo Ma Jiaying Pan Guanglei Wu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:5
7Flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte enabling sodium metal batteries with highly safe characteristic and superior cycling stability显示文摘Con ventio nal liquid electrolytes based sodium metal batteries suffer from severe safety hazards owing to electrolyte leakage,in flammability and dendritic sodium deposit!on.Herein,we report a flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic an hydride)(P(MVE-alt-MA))as host,bacterial cellulose(BC)as reinforceme nt,and triethyl phosphate/vinyle ne carb on ate/sodium perchlorate(TEP/VC/NaClO4)as plasticizer for highly safe sodium metal batteries.The as-obtained quasi-solid polymer electrolyte exhibits superior flame retardancy(self-extinguish within 1 s),complete non-leakage property and wide electrochemical windows(4.4 V).More importantly,Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries using such polymer electrolyte delivers superior I on g-term cycli ng stability(84.4%capacity rete ntion after 1000 cycles)which is significantly better than that(only 2%after 240 cycles)of liquid electrolyte.In addition,this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte provides favorable cycle performance(80.2%capacity retention after 70 cycles at 50°C and 84.8%capacity retention after 50 cycles at-10°C)for Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries.And this battery also displayed a normal charge/discharge property even at-15°C.These fascinating cycle properties are mainly ascribed to the effective pro怕ctive layers formed on Na3V2(PC>4)3 cathode and sodium metal ano de.More thorough in vestigati on elucidates that such flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte plays a multif unctional role in the adva need sodium metal batteries:(1)being in volved in the formatio n of a favorable cathode electrolyte in terface(CEI)to inhibit the dissolutio n of van adium and maintai n the structure integrity of the Na3V2(PO4)3;(2)participati ng in building a stable solid electrolyte in terface(SEI)to suppress the growth of Na dendrites;(3)integrating flame-retardanee into polymer sodium batteries to enhance flame-resistanee,eliminate electrolyte leakage,and thus improve safety of sodium batteries.Based on these results,we further assembled Na3V2(PO4)3/MoS2 pouch cell which can withsta nd harsh conditions(be nded or cut off a corn er),confirming the obtai ned polymer electrolyte with superior non-leakage property.In all,these outstanding characteristics would endow this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte a very promising can didate for highly-safe sodium metal batteries.Jinfeng Yang Min Zhang Zheng Chen Xiaofan Du Suqi Huang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Han Wu Zhe Yu Jianjun Zhang Guanglei Cui 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4

10Investigation of Two-Dimensional Ultrasonic Surface Burnishing Process on 7075-T6 Aluminum显示文摘A novel two-dimensional ultrasonic surface burnishing process(2D-USBP)is proposed.7075-T6 aluminum samples are processed by a custom-designed 2D-USBP setup.Parameter optimization of 2D-USBP is conducted to determine the best processing strategy of 7075-T6 aluminum.A uniform design method is utilized to optimize the 2D-USBP process.U〔3(133)and 4(72)tables are established to conduct parameter optimization.Burnishing depth,spindle speed,and feed rate are taken as the control parameters.The surface roughness and Vickers hardness are taken as the evaluation indicators.It establishes the active control models for surface quality.Dry wear tests are conducted to compare the wear-resistance of the 2D-USBP treated sample and the original sample.Results show that the machining quality of 2D-USBP is best under 0.24 mm burnishing depth,5000 r/min spindle speed,and 25 mm/min feed rate.The surface roughness of the sample is reduced from 2517.758 to 50.878 nm,and the hardness of the sample surface is improved from 167 to 252 HV.Under the lower load,the wear mechanism of the 2D-USBP treated sample is mainly abrasive wear accompanied by delamination wear,while the wear mechanism of the original sample is mainly delamination wear.Under the higher load,the accumulation of frictional heat on the sample surface transforms the wear mechanisms of the original and the 2D-USBP treated samples into thermal wear.Zhenyu Zhou Qiuyang Zheng Cong Ding Guanglei Yu Guangjian Peng Zhongyu Piao 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,1:2
11Generation of isogenic single and multiplex gene knockout mice by base editing-induced STOP显示文摘Although CRISPR/Cas9 has been widely used to generate knockout mice, two major limitations remain:the founders usually carry a mixture of genotypes, and mosaicism harboring multiple genotypes.Therefore, it takes a long time to get homozygous mutants. Recently developed base editing(BE) system,which introduces C-to-T conversion without double strand DNA cleavage, has been used to introduce artificial stop codons(i-STOP) to prematurely terminate translation, providing a cleaner strategy for genome engineering. Using this strategy, we generated CD160 KO and VISTA/CD160 double KO mice by microinjection of a single sg RNA targeting CD160 and a mixture of sg RNAs targeting VISTA and CD160,respectively. The BE system induced STOP efficiently in mouse embryos and consequently in founder mice without detectable off-target. Most interestingly, the majority of the mutants harbor same genetic modifications, indicating we generated isogenic single and multiplex gene mutant mice by BE-induced STOP. 12Microstructure evolution and mechanical behavior of Ni-based single crystal superalloy joint brazed with mixed powder at elevated temperature显示文摘Brazing of a Ni-based single crystal superalloy has been investigated with the additive Ni-based superalloy and filler Ni–Cr–W–B alloy at 1260℃, and attentions were paid to the microstructure evolution during brazing and the stress-rupture behavior at 980℃ of such brazed joints after homogenization. Microstructure in the brazed joint generally includes brazing alloy zone(BAZ), isothermally solidified zone(ISZ) and diffusion affected zone(DAZ). Microstructure evolution during this brazing process is discussed at the heating stage, the holding stage and the cooling stage respectively, according to the diffusion path of B atoms. Initially well-distributed γ’/γ’ microstructure in the homogenized bonded zone after heat treatment and substantial γ’ rafts enhance the post-brazed joint to obtain a stress-rupture lifetime of more than 120 h at 980℃/250 MPa. On the other hand, the decreased stress-rupture behavior of post-brazed joint, compared with parenting material, is ascribed to the presence of inside brazing porosity and stray grain boundary, which not only reduces the effective loading-carrying area but also offers preferential sites for creep vacancy aggregation to further soften stray grain boundary. 13Seven years of biochar amendment has a negligible effect on soil available P and a progressive effect on organic C in paddy soils显示文摘Little attention has been paid to how long-term application of crop straw and its biochar affects soil phosphorus(P)transformation and carbon(C)fractions.We conducted a 7-year field experiment including control treatment(chemical fertilizer only,CK),straw return(2.25 t ha^(−1)),and different amounts of biochar addition(11.25 t ha^(−1)(0.5%BC)and 22.5 t ha^(−1)(1.0%BC),to investigate influence of these amendments on soil C structure,P fractions,and their interaction with microorganisms.The 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and soil P sequence fractionation were applied to capture changes of soil C compositions and P pool.Compared to CK,straw and biochar amendments decreased alkyl C/O-alkyl C,which is conducive to increased soil organic C.The 0.5%BC and 1.0%BC treatments enhanced recalcitrant aromatic C by 69.0%and 131%,respectively.Compared to CK(101.2±33.32 mg kg^(−1)),the 0.5%BC and 1.0%BC treatments had a negligible effect on soil available P,while negative effects were observed in straw treatment(59.79±9.023 mg kg^(−1)).Straw and biochar amendments increased primary P and occluded P,whereas had negligible effect on organic P.Redundancy analysis and correlation analysis indi-cated that C compositions and P pool correlated to microbial community composition and enzyme activities,and aromatic C was the most related factor.Moreover,structural equation modeling indicated available P was most related to phosphatase activity and C composition.Our findings reveal the changes of soil P and C response under long-term crop straw and its biochar amendment,and can contribute toward improving understanding of the effect of biochar and straw return in future agriculture management.Jiahui Yuan Yu Wang Xu Zhao Hao Chen Guanglei Chen Shenqiang Wang 2022Biochar2022,4,1:1

16Terrestrial dissolved organic carbon consumption by heterotrophic bacterioplankton in the Huanghe River estuary during water and sediment regulation显示文摘Nearly 20%–50% of the annual terrestrial dissolved organic carbon(DOC)from the Huanghe(Yellow)River was transported to the estuary during the 5-14d of water and sediment regulation.The concentration of DOC increased sharply during the period of water and sediment regulation,which may promote the terrestrial DOC consumption by heterotrophic bacterioplankton.Water and sediment regulation provides an ideal condition for the study of terrestrial DOC consumption by heterotrophic bacterioplankton when terrestrial DOC increases sharply in rainy season,which may help to seek the fates of terrestrial DOC in the estuaries and coasts.In this study,the concentration and stable isotope of DOC,the biomass,growth,and respiration of heterotrophic bacterioplankton were determined.By the study,we found both average percent contribution of terrestrial DOC to the DOC pool and Contribution of terrestrial DOC to the carbon composition of heterotrophic bacterioplankton decreased as distance from the river mouth increased off shore,which was deceased from(39.2±4.0)%,(37.5±4.3)%to(30.3±3.9)%,(28.2±3.9)%respectively.255-484μg C/(L·d)terrestrial DOC was consumed by heterotrophic bacterioplankton.And 29%-45%terrestrial DOC consumed by heterotrophic bacterioplankton releasing as CO2 by respiration.Comparing with tropical estuary,terrestrial DOC consumed by heterotrophic bacterioplankton was lower in temperate estuary(this study).Temperature may limit the consumption of terrestrial DOC by heterotrophic bacterioplankton.ZHANG Mingliang YU Guanglei WANG Fei LI Bin HAN Huizong QI Zhanhui WANG Tengteng 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:1
17Rapid CO_(2)-laser scribing fabrication of an electrochemical sensor for the direct detection of Pb^(2+) and Cd^(2+)显示文摘Laser-induced graphene(LIG)is a highly promising preparation material for electrochemical sensors;however,its preparation speed and nanomaterial modification steps significantly limit its mass production.Herein,this study proposed a new laser printing strategy that considerably improved the preparation speed of LIG with excellent electrochemical performance.Using the optimal parameters(laser power of 1%,scribing spacing of 0.12 mm,scribing speed of 100 mm·s^(−1)),it took only 14.2 s to complete the preparation of the detection electrode.Thus,we successfully detected Cd^(2+)and Pb^(2+)without any toxic reagents or electrode modification steps.The limits of detection of the sensor were 0.914 and 0.916μg·L^(−1)for Cd^(2+)and Pb^(2+),respectively,which are significantly lower than the required values for drinking-water quality,according to the World Health Organization guidelines.This study provides a novel approach for the rapid detection of heavy-metal ions.Guanglei Chu Yanyan Zhang Zhongrui Zhou Weixuan Zeng Dongfei Chen Siping Yu Jiemin Wang Yemin Guo Xia Sun Ming Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:1

19Long-term biochar addition significantly decreases rice rhizosphere available phosphorus and its release risk to the environment显示文摘Phosphorus(P)availability,diffusion,and resupply processes can be altered by biochar addition in flooded rice rhizosphere,which controls the risk of P release to the environment.However,there are few in-situ investigations of these rhizospheric processes and effects.To explore the effects of biochar addition on soil P availability,high-resolution dialysis(HR-Peeper),diffusive gradients in thin films(DGT),and zymography techniques were used to provide direct evidence in the rice rhizosphere at the sub-millimeter scale.Long-term(9-years)field and greenhouse pot experiments demonstrated that biochar addition notably decreased the soluble/labile P and Fe concentrations in rice rhizosphere(vs.no biochar addition;CK)based on the results of Peeper,DGT,and two-dimensional imaging of labile P fluxes.DGT-induced fluxes in the soil/sediment(DIFS)model and sediment P release risk index(SPRRI)further indicated that biochar addition decreased the diffusion and resupply capacity of P from soil solid to the solution,thereby decreasing P release risk to the environment.These processes were dominated by Fe redox cycling and the hydrolysis of Al(hydro)oxides that greatly increased the unavailable P(Ca-P and residual-P).Additionally,greenhouse pot experiments(without additional biochar)showed that the previous long-term biochar addition significantly increased soil phosphatase activity,due to an adaptive-enhancing response to P decrease in the rhizosphere zone.The in-situ study on the biogeochemical reactions of P in the rice rhizosphere may provide a new and direct perspective to better evaluate the biochar addition and potential benefits to agricultural soils.Hao Chen Jiahui Yuan Guanglei Chen Xu Zhao Shenqiang Wang Dengjun Wang Lei Wang Yujun Wang Yu Wang 2022Biochar2022,4,1:1
20Responses of soil phosphorus pools accompanied with carbon composition and microorganism changes to phosphorus-input reduction in paddy soils显示文摘In rice-wheat rotation systems, changes in soil phosphorus(P) pools and microorganisms in rice-growing seasons have been studied;however, further investigations are required to test whether these indexes exhibit different responses in wheat-growing seasons. Additionally, such studies need to include potential variations in soil carbon(C) structure and microbial community composition. In this study, a long-term rice-wheat rotation P-input reduction experiment was conducted to observe the variations in soil P pools and C composition in the 7th wheat season and to investigate the responses of soil enzyme activity and microbial communities. Four P fertilization treatments were included in the experiment, i.e., P application for rice season only(PR), for wheat season only(PW), and for both rice and wheat seasons(PR+W) and no P application in either season(Pzero). Compared with PR+W treatment, Pzero treatment significantly decreased(P < 0.05) labile and stable P pools. Different P fertilization regimes altered soil microbial community composition and enzyme activity, whereas C composition did not vary. However, PW treatment resulted in relatively more O-alkyl-C than PR treatment and the highest number of microorganisms. Besides, the higher ratios of fungi/bacteria and Gram-positive bactetia/Gram-negative bactetia were related to labile C pools, particularly O-alkyl-C, as opposed to recalcitrant C.
