1In vivo theranostics with near-infraredemitting carbon dots—highly efficient photothermal therapy based on passive targeting after intravenous administration显示文摘Carbon dots that exhibit near-infrared fluorescence(NIR CDs)are considered emerging nanomaterials for advanced biomedical applications with low toxicity and superior photostability and targeting compared to currently used photoluminescence agents.Despite progress in the synthesis of NIR CDs,there remains a key obstacle to using them as an in vivo theranostic agent.This work demonstrates that the newly developed sulfur and nitrogen codoped NIR CDs are highly efficient in photothermal therapy(PTT)in mouse models(conversion efficiency of 59%)and can be readily visualized by photoluminescence and photoacoustic imaging.The real theranostic potential of NIR CDs is enhanced by their unique biodistribution and targeting.Contrary to all other nanomaterials that have been tested in biomedicine,they are excreted through the body’s renal filtration system.Moreover,after intravenous injection,NIR CDs are accumulated in tumor tissue via passive targeting,without any active species such as antibodies.Due to their accumulation in tumor tissue without the need for intratumor injection,high photothermal conversion,excellent optical and photoacoustic imaging performance,and renal excretion,the developed CDs are suitable for transfer to clinical biomedical practice.Xin Bao Ye Yuan Jingqin Chen Bohan Zhang Di Li Ding Zhou Pengtao Jing Guiying Xu Yingli Wang Kateřina Holá Dezhen Shen Changfeng Wu Liang Song Chengbo Liu Radek Zbořil Songnan Qu 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:13

3Characteristics of dissolved organic matter in lakes with different eutrophic levels in southeastern Hubei Province,China显示文摘Dissolved organic matter(DOM)plays a crucial role in both the carbon cycle and geochemical cycles of other nutrient elements,which is of importance to the management and protection of the aquatic environments.To achieve a more comprehensive understanding the characteristics of DOM in the Changjiang(Yangtze)River basin,water samples from four natural lakes(Xiandao,Baoan,Daye,and Qingshan)in southeastern Hubei Province in China with different eutrophication levels were collected and analyzed.The optical characteristics were analyzed using ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry and excitation-emission matrix spectroscopy coupled with parallel factor analysis.The results show that:(1)two humic-like components(C1 and C2)and two protein-like substances(C3 and C4)of DOM were identified in all waterbodies;(2)C3 originated primarily from the degradation of microalgae and contributed substantially to humic-like components during transformation.C4 was widely present in the Changjiang River basin and its formation was related to microbial activity,rather than algal blooms or seasons.Influenced by the water mixing,the protein-like components were more likely to be transformed by microorganism,whereas humic-like components were more easily to be photobleached;(3)the concentration of DOM and the fluorescence intensity of humic-like components gradually increased with rising lake eutrophication levels.With respect to protein-like components,only C3 showed changes along the eutrophication gradients;(4)DOM showed a high affinity with permanganate index(COD Mn)and chlorophyll a(chl a)while the relationship was variable with phosphorus.This study helps us systematically understand the DOM characteristics,microbial activities,and pollutant transformation in the Changjiang River basin and provides reference to the ecological restoration of aquatic environments.Weixiang REN Xiaodong WU Xuguang GE Guiying LIN Mengdie ZHOU Zijie LONG Xinhui YU Wei TIAN 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:8
4Comparison on the leaching kinetics of chalcocite and pyrite with or without bacteria显示文摘The acid leaching,ferric leaching,and bioleaching of chalcocite and pyrite minerals were conducted in two sets of 3L stirred reactors.The dissolution rates of copper and iron were correlated with leaching conditions.In the acid leaching process,the dissolution rate of chalcocite was around 40wt.% while that of pyrite was less than 4%.In the ferric leaching process with high ferric concentration,only 10 wt.% of iron in pyrite was leached out at the same retention time though the copper recovery over 60 wt.% in chalcocite.For the bioleaching process,the chalcocite leaching rate was highly increased,nearly 90 wt.% of copper was leached out,and the iron dissolution of pyrite exceeded 70 wt.%.For the two minerals,the bioleaching shows the highest leaching rate compared with the acid leaching or ferric leaching.In uncontrolled bioleaching process,pyrite could be dissolved effectively.The experimental data were fitted to the shrinking core and particle model.The results show that in all the leaching tests,the chalcocite leaching was mainly controlled by diffusion,while for the pyrite leaching,chemical reaction is the main rate-determining step.RUAN Renman ZHOU E LIU Xingyu WU Biao ZHOU Guiying WEN Jiankang 2010Rare Metals2010,29,6:3
5CFD simulation of a gas-solid fluidized bed with two vertical jets显示文摘A computational fluid dynamics(CFD)model is used to investigate the hydrodynamics of a gas-solid fluidized bed with two vertical jets.Sand particles with a density of 2660 kg/m3 and a diameter of 5.0×10-4 m are employed as the solid phase.Numerical computation is carried out in a 0.57 m×1.00 m two-dimensional bed using a commercial CFD code,CFX 4.4,together with user-defined Fortran subroutines.The applicability of the CFD model is validated by predicting the bed pressure drop in a bubbling fluidized bed,and the jet detachment time and equivalent bubble diameter in a fluidized bed with a single jet.Subsequently,the model is used to explore the hydrodynamics of two vertical jets in a fluidized bed. The computational results reveal three flow patterns,isolated,merged and transitional jets,depending on the nozzle separation distance and jet gas velocity and influencing significantly the solid circulation pattern.The jet penetration depth is found to increase with increasing jet gas velocity,and can be predicted reasonably well by the correlations of Hong et al.(2003)for isolated jets and of Yang and Keairns (1979)for interacting jets.Pei Pei Kai Zhang Jintian Ren Dongsheng Wen Guiying Wu 2010Particuology2010,8,5:3

7The Anomalous Response of Elastoplatic Circular Plates Under Impulsive Loading显示文摘The anomalous nonlinear elastic, perfectly plastic response behaviors of circular plate subjected to short transverse pulse load is studied. The plate is assumed fixed-pin along the boundary. 'Anomalous' here means that the final deflection may be in the direction opposite that of the load. It has been found by detailed numerical analyses that there exists anomalous response in some narrow loading ranges, so called slots. By further calculations it is shown that this special dynamic behavior is related to coupling affects of internal forces and large plastic deformation after removal loading. Further plastic dissipation will be lead to anomalous dynamic response. 14CFD simulation of jet behaviors in a binary gas-solid fluidized bed:comparisons with experiments显示文摘Based on the experimental observation of the fluidization characteristics of solid mixtures(resin and rapeseed)with different densities and sizes,the jet behaviours of the binary system are simulated in a twodimensional jetting fluidized bed 0.30m in width and 2.00m in height.A simple mathematical model,by introducing two additional force terms in both gas and particle phase momentum equations of Gidaspow’s inviscid two-fluid model,is used to explore the effects of jet gas velocity and mixture combination on the jet penetration depth in the fluidized bed with a binary system.Experimental results show that there is a fluidization velocity interval(u_(if)-u_(ff))for the resin-on-rapeseed(flotsam-on-jetsam)segregated bed.The simulated jet penetration depth increases with the increase of jet gas velocity and the volume fraction of the flotsam(resin),which is in fair agreement with experimental data.The above findings show that the hydrodynamic model of Brandani and Zhang(2006),by introducing the average physical properties from Goossens et al.(1971),can be used to predict the jet behaviors of a well-mixing binary system.Pei PEI Guiying WU Kai ZHANG Bangting YU Jianchun JIANG Dongsheng WEN 2010Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,3:1

17“Reinforced concrete”-like flexible transparent electrode for organic solar cells with high efficiency and mechanical robustness显示文摘Flexible transparent electrodes(FTEs) with robust mechanical stability are crucial for the industrial application of flexible organic solar cells(OSCs). However, their production remains challenging owing to the difficulty in balancing the conductivity,transmittance, and adhesion of FTEs to substrates. Herein, we present the so-called “reinforced concrete” strategy which finetunes the structure of silver nanowires(Ag NWs)-based FTEs with polydopamine(PDA) possessing good adhesion properties and moderate reducibility. The PDA reduces Ag+to form silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs) which grow like “rivets” at the Ag NW junction sites;PDA stabilizes the Ag NW skeleton and improves the adhesion between the Ag NWs and polyethylene terephthalate(PET) substrate and interface layer. The obtained Ag NW:PDA:Ag NP FTE exhibits excellent optoelectronic properties and high mechanical stability. The resulting flexible OSCs exhibit 17.07% efficiency, high flexibility during 10,000 bending test cycles, and robust peeling stability.
