1Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 2Development of Human in vitro Brain-blood Barrier Model from Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived Endothelial Cells to Predict the in vivo Permeability of Drugs显示文摘An in vitro blood-brain barrier(BBB) model is critical for enabling rapid screening of the BBB permeability of the drugs targeting on the central nervous system.Though many models have been developed, their reproducibility and renewability remain a challenge. Furthermore, drug transport data from many of the models do not correlate well with the data for in vivo BBB drug transport.Induced-pluripotent stem cell(i PSC) technology provides reproducible cell resources for in vitro BBB modeling.Here, we generated a human in vitro BBB model by differentiating the human i PSC(hi PSC) line GM25256 into brain endothelial-type cells. The model displayed BBB characteristics including tight junction proteins(ZO-1,claudin-5, and occludin) and endothelial markers(von Willebrand factor and Ulex), as well as high transendothelial electrical resistance(TEER)(1560 X.cm2±230 X.cm2) and c-GTPase activity. Co-culture with primary rat astrocytes significantly increased the TEER of the model(2970 X.cm2 to 4185 X.cm2). RNAseq analysis confirmed the expression of key BBB-related genes in the hi PSC-derived endothelial cells in comparison with primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells,including P-glycoprotein(Pgp) and breast cancer resistant protein(BCRP). Drug transport assays for nine CNS compounds showed that the permeability of non-Pgp/BCRP and Pgp/BCRP substrates across the model was strongly correlated with rodent in situ brain perfusion data for these compounds(R2= 0.982 and R2= 0.9973,respectively), demonstrating the functionality of the drug transporters in the model. 3One step method of structure engineering porous graphitic carbon nitride for efficient visible-light photocatalytic reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)显示文摘Porous g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets(PCN)were prepared by the nickel-assisted one-step thermal polymerization method.Hydrogen(H2)which was produced by the reaction between nickel(Ni)foam and ammonia(NH3)defined the structure and properties of PCN.During the formation of PCN,the participation of H2 not only enhanced the spacing between layers but also boosted the specific surface area that more active sites were exposed.Additionally,H2 promoted pores formation in the nanosheets,which was beneficial to the transfer of photons through lamellar structure and improved the absorption efficiency of visible light.Remarkably,the obtained PCN possessed better Cr(Ⅵ)photocatalytic reduction efficiency than pure g-C_(3)N_(4).The reaction rate constant(k)of PCN(0.013 min-1)was approximately twice that of bare g-C_(3)N_(4)(0.007 min-1).Furthermore,the effects of original pH and concentration of Cr(Ⅵ)-containing solution on re moval efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ)were explored.A possible photocatalytic mecha nism was proposed based on the experiments of radical scavengers and photoelectrochemical characterizations.Xueru Chen Yin Zhang Dashui Yuan Wu Huang Jing Ding Hui Wan Wei-Lin Dai Guofeng Guan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,12:3
4Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 5Solid rocket motor propellant grain burnback simulation based on fast minimum distance function calculation and improved marching tetrahedron method显示文摘To efficiently compute arbitrary propellant grain evolution of the burning surface with uniform and non-uniform burning rate for solid rocket motor,a unified framework of burning surface regression simulation has been developed based on minimum distance function.In order to speed up the computation of the mini-mum distance between grid nodes of grain and the triangular mesh of burning surface,a fast distance querying method based on the equal size cube voxel structure was employed.An improved marching tetrahedron method based on piecewise linear approximation was carried out on second-order tetrahedral elements,achieved high-efficiency and adequate accuracy of burning surface extraction simultaneously.The cases of star grain,finocyl grain,and non-uniform tube grain were studied to verify the proposed method.The observed result indicates that the grain burnback computation method could realize the accurate simulation on unstructured tetrahedral mesh with a desirable performance on computational time.Pengfei REN Hongbo WANG Guofeng ZHOU Jiani LI Qiang CAI Jiaquan YU Ya YUAN 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,4:2
6QoE-Oriented Resource Allocation for Multiuser-Multiservice Femtocell Networks显示文摘The pursuit of high data rate and assurance of quality of experience(QoE) for end users represent the main goals of future wireless communication systems.By introducing MOS(Mean Opinion Score) based assessment models for different types of applications,this paper proposed novel QoE-oriented radio resource allocation(RRA) algorithms for multiuser-multiservice femtocell networks.An optimal QoE-oriented RRA strategy is first analyzed using time-sharing method which is applicable to best effort applications.RRA algorithms based on the cross-layer architecture are then proposed for all types of applications by considering parameters extracted from different layers of networking protocols.In the proposed algorithms,a priority mechanism is employed to ensure fairness.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can significantly improve the overall perceived quality from the users' perspective in comparison with traditional Quality of Service(QoS)oriented algorithms.YUAN Deyu SONG Mei TENG Yinglei MA Ding WANG Xiaojun LU Guofeng 2015China Communications2015,12,10:2

9One-step fabrication of nitrogen-deficient carbon nitride through pyrolysis of melamine and 1,2,4-triazole for its enhanced photocatalytic degradation显示文摘The construction of defects in semiconductor photocatalysts,as a kind of modification methods,plays an indispensable role in the enhancement of the photocatalytic performance.Herein,nitrogen defects were successfully introduced into the framework of graphite carbon nitride(CN-T_(x))through thermal polymerization with melamine and 1,2,4-triazole as precursors.The existence of nitrogen defects in CN-T_(x) were confirmed to be located at the two-coordinated(N_(2c))C■N-C lattice sites,which resulted in the destruction of its planar structure and the initiation of n-π^(*)electron transition that greatly expanded the response range to visible light and improved the separation efficiency of photogenerated charge carrier.More significantly,CN-T_(x) could enhance photocatalytic water purification activity towards different kinds of pollutants.The photocatalytic rates of CN-T_(3) were estimated to be 2.54(tetracycline)and 2.31(2-hydroxynaphthalene)times higher than those of pristine g-C3N4.Furthermore,the possible photocatalytic degradation mechanism over CN-T_(x) photocatalyst was proposed by free radical trapping experiments combined with ERS characterization.This work provides an in-depth understanding of the important role of nitrogen defects in the electronic structure and chemical properties of g-C3N4 and its photocatalytic water purification performance.Jing Ding Zongyuan Li Xueru Chen Yiwei Jiao Dashui Yuan Wei Du Hui Wan Guofeng Guan 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,3:1
