1Dendritic Cells Transduced with SOCS1 Gene Exhibit Regulatory DC Properties and Prolong Allograft Survival显示文摘SOCS1 is a key regulator of cytokine signaling and is important for maintaining balance in the immune system. It is thought to participate in negative feedback loops in cytokine signaling and may be an important signal for the regulation of dendritic cell (DC) maturation. However, it remains unclear whether DCs transduced with SOCS1 exhibit characteristics of regulatory DCs and induce allogeneic T-cell hyporesponsiveness. In this study, we constructed adenoviral vector coding SOCS1 (Ad-SOCS1) that can efficiently increase SOCS1 gene expression in bone marrow-derived dendritic cells. DCs transduced with Ad-SOCS1 (DC-SOCS1) expressed low levels of costimulatory and MHC molecules, were resistant to maturation and activation stimulation, induced allogeneic T-cell hyporesponsiveness, and promoted the generation of regulatory-like T cells in vitro. DC-SOCS1 pretreatment significantly prolonged the survival of allografts and led to a substantial increase in the generation of regulatory T cells. 2Geobiological processes of the formation of lacustrine source rock in Paleogene显示文摘Gypsum-salt rocks and coccolith calcareous shale are widely deposited in the lower part of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation in the Dongying Sag,Shandong Province.The gypsum-salt rock is believed to be formed during the earlier deposition in salt lake,while the overlying coccolith shale in saline lake with relatively low salinity.By comparing the lake environment and lacustrine microbial communities between ancient and recent lakes,cyanobacteria are regarded as the main representative of productivity during the formation of gypsum-salt strata series,with the annual productivity of 1500-2000 gC m-2 yr-1.Based on the research of ultramicrofossils in the calcareous shale,coccolith is considered as the main contributor to the productivity during the formation of calcareous shale.On the basis of statistic data of sedimentary rates,shale laminations,and coccolith fossils in each lamination,the quantitative value of productivity is calculated,with the annual productivity of 2250-3810gC m-2 yr-1(averagely 3120 gC m-2 yr-1).Statistic data of large amount of pyrite framboids indicate that the lower water column was persistently in sulfidic or anoxic conditions during the deposition of gypsum-salt strata series,but it changed to be dysoxic when the coccolith calcareous shale was deposited.Both of these water conditions are favorable for the preservation of organic matter.It is estimated that the organic carbon burial efficiency of the Lower Paleogene salt lakes and saline lakes of Dongying Depression is about 10%-15%,which is calculated and analyzed using the multi-parameter geobiological model.LI GuoShan WANG YongBiao LU ZongSheng LIAO Wei SONG GuoQi WANG XueJun XU XingYou 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,5:10
3Superhydrophobic modification of ceramic membranes for vacuum membrane distillation显示文摘The hydrophobically modi fied ceramic membranes have great potential for energy-ef ficient membrane distillation.In this work,flat-sheet ceramic membranes with a superhydrophobic surface were fabricated by grafting 1H,1H,2H,2H-per fluorooctyltrichlorosilane or 1H,1H,2H,2H-per fluorodecyltriethoxysilane and followed by ultraviolet irradiation.The surface water contact angle was improved from 46° of original ceramic membrane to 159°,which exhibited a stable and excellent superhydrophobic effect.The modi fied membranes showed a high flux of 27.28 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) and simultaneously maintained an excellent retention rate of 99.99%,when used in vacuum membrane distillation process for treatment of a 1 wt% NaCl(75 °C) aqueous solution.These results suggested that superhydrophobic modi fication of ceramic surface is a facile and cost-effective way to achieve higher membrane distillation performance.The superhydrophobically-modi fied ceramic membrane with an excellent desalination capacity would show considerable potential in practical membrane distillation utilizations.Yanhui Yang Qianqian Liu Haizhi Wang Fusheng Ding Guoshan Jin Chunxi Li Hong Meng 2017Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,10:9
4State and Output Feedback Finite-time Guaranteed Cost Control of Linear It Stochastic Systems显示文摘The problem of guaranteed cost control based on finite-time stability for stochastic system is first investigated in this paper.The motivation of solving this problem arises from an observation that finite/infinite-horizon guaranteed cost control does not consider the transient performance of the closed-loop system,but guaranteed cost control based on finite-time stability involves this practical requirement.In order to explain this problem explicitly,a concept of the stochastic finite-time guaranteed cost control is introduced,and then some new sufficient conditions for the existence of state and output feedback finite-time guaranteed cost controllers are derived,which guarantee finite-time stochastic stability of closed-loop systems and an upper bound of a quadratic cost function.Furthermore,this problem is reduced to a convex optimization problem with matrix inequality constraints and a new solving algorithm is given.Finally,an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.YAN Zhiguo ZHANG Guoshan WANG Jiankui ZHANG Weihai 2015Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2015,28,4:4

6Dense Mapping From an Accurate Tracking SLAM显示文摘In recent years, reconstructing a sparse map from a simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) system on a conventional CPU has undergone remarkable progress. However,obtaining a dense map from the system often requires a highperformance GPU to accelerate computation. This paper proposes a dense mapping approach which can remove outliers and obtain a clean 3D model using a CPU in real-time. The dense mapping approach processes keyframes and establishes data association by using multi-threading technology. The outliers are removed by changing detections of associated vertices between keyframes. The implicit surface data of inliers is represented by a truncated signed distance function and fused with an adaptive weight. A global hash table and a local hash table are used to store and retrieve surface data for data-reuse. 7Species-specific detection and quantification of scyphomedusae in Jiaozhou Bay,China,using a quantitative real-time PCR assay显示文摘Over the past decades,jellyfish occurred increasingly and abundantly in coastal areas worldwide.Usually,biomass of jellyfish,especially when they bloom,can be determined by visual counting.However,tiny individuals of jellyfish(e.g.,planulae,polyps,and ephyrae)are difficult to detect in the field.In this study,species-specific quantitative real-time PCR assays(qPCR)(SYBR Green I)targeting the mitochondrial 16S rDNA(mt-16S rDNA)of jellyfish were developed and were used to estimate the distribution and seasonal fluctuations of four jellyfish species(Nemopilema nomurai,Cyanea nozakii,Rhopilema esculentum,and Aurelia coerulea)in Jiaozhou Bay(JZB),China in 2013.The mt-16S rDNA of A.coerulea and N.nomurai was detected in most of the survey months and it peaked in July(1.03×10^(4) copies/L)and September(1.08×10^(6) copies/L),respectively.The mt-16S rDNA of C.nozakii occurred from August to October only with monthly mean values of 7.18-46.17 copies/L and was mainly located from the middle part to the outer part of the bay.The mt-16S rDNA of R.esculentum was the least abundant among the four species and was detected in only one sample(B2 station in March),with a value of 88.49 copies/L.The Spearman correlation test revealed that phytoplankton biomass was significantly and positively correlated with the mt-16S rDNA abundance of A.coerulea(R=0.37,P<0.01)and negatively with the mt-16S rDNA of N.nomurai(R=-0.36,P<0.01).The qPCR assay will enable the identification and quantification of jellyfish species in their whole life history and can be used as an approach in combination of the traditional jellyfish survey.Jianyan WANG Tiezhu MI Zhigang YU Guoshan WANG Qinsheng WEI Jing YANG Yu ZHEN 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:3
8A combined dynamic inhalation device designed for moxa-smoking toxicity testing显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To design a combined dynamic inhalation device for testing the toxicity induced by moxa smoking.METHODS: The new apparatus(Patent No.201120101911.5) includes air renewal and recycling systems, a gas generating device, a gas control unit, and a device to measure and control temperature and humidity. Sprague-dawley rats were tested for acute and sub-chronic toxicity after exposure to moxa-burning smoke.RESULTS: We found an LC50 of 1.2 × 104mg/m3 in the acute toxicity assays. In sub-chronic toxicity tests the organ coefficients studied showed no sig-nificant differences within rats groups of the same gender after treatment with moxa smoke or a month of recovery. However, mean gray degree of lung 70 heat shock protein(HSP70) was significantly elevated in the high dose group in comparison with the low dose group(P < 0.05); mean gray degree, mean optical density, gross area of HSP70 in other organs and caspase-9 parameters showed no significant differences between groups.CONCLUSION: These results suggest that moxa smoke had no overt toxicity in rats.
