1Geochemistry and regional distribution of ophiolites and associated volcanics in Mianlüe suture, Qinling-Dabie Mountains显示文摘Systematic studies of the ophiolites and associated volcanics stretching more than 1500 km from the Derni-Nanping-Pipasi-Kangxian area in the west to the Qingshuihe area of the south Dabie Mountains in the east indicate the existence of a suture zone (the Mianl黣 suture) and a vanished paleo-ocean basin (the Mianl黣 paleo-ocean basin) in the region. From west to east, ophiolitic mlange associations distribute discontinuously along the suture. Rock assem-blages include ophiolite, island arc and oceanic island rock series. The Mianl黣 paleo-ocean basin experienced its major formation and expending episode during the Carboniferous-Permian period. 2Underwater explosion in centrifuge partⅠ:Validation and calibration of scaling laws显示文摘Centrifuge is a promising tool for underwater explosion(UNDEX) research as both Mach and Froude similitudes could be satisfied with hyper-gravity in models, which would result in similarities in both shock wave and bubble oscillation. Scaling laws for UNDEX in centrifuge have been proposed based on dimensional analysis. Two dimensionless numbers, i.e.,π_3 and π_4, are used to characterize shock wave and bubble oscillation, respectively. To validate scaling laws, 17 UNDEX tests are designed by varying accelerations or explosive weights and positions in centrifuge. The tests are classified into different groups to validate scaling laws as well as calibrate coefficients in empirical formulae for both shock wave and bubble oscillation. The results show that changes of gravity acceleration or hydrodynamic pressure almost has no influence on shock wave peak pressure and time constant as long as π3 is constant. The dimensionless bubble period and maximum radius agreed with each other when π4 is constant. 3SARS-CoV-2 promotes RIPK1 activation to facilitate viral propagation显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),is the ongoing global pandemic that poses substantial challenges to public health worldwide.A subset of COVID-19 patients experience systemic inflammatory response,known as cytokine storm,which may lead to death.Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1(RIPK1)is an important mediator of inflammation and cell death.Here,we examined the interaction of RIPK1-mediated innate immunity with SARS-CoV-2 infection.We found evidence of RIPK1 activation in human COVID-19 lung pathological samples,and cultured human lung organoids and ACE2 transgenic mice infected by SARS-CoV-2.Inhibition of RIPK1 using multiple smallmolecule inhibitors reduced the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in human lung organoids.Furthermore,therapeutic dosing of the RIPK1 inhibitor Nec-1s reduced mortality and lung viral load,and blocked the CNS manifestation of SARS-CoV-2 in ACE2 transgenic mice.Mechanistically,we found that the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of SARS-CoV-2,NSP12,a highly conserved central component of coronaviral replication and transcription machinery,promoted the activation of RIPK1.Furthermore,NSP12323L variant,encoded by the SARS-CoV-2 C14408T variant first detected in Lombardy,Italy,that carries a Pro323Leu amino acid substitution in NSP12,showed increased ability to activate RIPK1.Inhibition of RIPK1 downregulated the transcriptional induction of proinflammatory cytokines and host factors including ACE2 and EGFR that promote viral entry into cells.Our results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may have an unexpected and unusual ability to hijack the RIPK1-mediated host defense response to promote its own propagation and that inhibition of RIPK1 may provide a therapeutic option for the treatment of COVID-19.Gang Xu Ying Li Shengyuan Zhang Haoran Peng Yunyun Wang Dekang Li Taijie Jin Zhuohao He Yilun Tong Chunting Qi Guowei Wu Kangyun Dong Jizhou Gou Yang Liu Tongyang Xiao Jing Qu Liang Li Liang Liu Ping Zhao Zheng Zhang Junying Yuan 2021Cell Research2021,31,12:6
4Effects of scanning speed on microstructure in laser surface-melted single crystal superalloy and theoretical analysis显示文摘Scanning speed is a critical parameter for laser process,which can play a key role in the microstructure evolution of laser melting.In the laser melting of single crystal superalloy,the effects of scanning speed were investigated by experimental analysis and computational simulation.The laser was scanning along710 direction on(001) surface in different speeds.Solidification microstructures of dendrites growth direction and the primary dendritic spacing were analyzed by metallograph.Besides,a planar interface during solidification was taken into attention.Experiment results indicated that the primary dendritic spacing and thickness of planar interface decrease with the increase of speed.Through simulation,distribution of dendrites growth velocity and thermal gradient along dendrite growth direction were calculated,and the simulation of dendrites growth direction agreed with the experiment results.Additionally,a constant value was acquired which can be used to predict the primary dendritic spacing.Moreover,according to curve-fitting method and inequality relation,a model was proposed to predict the thickness of planar interface.Guowei Wang Jingjing Liang Yanhong Yang Yu Shi Yizhou Zhou Tao Jin Xiaofeng Sun 2018Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,8:5
5Effects of precipitation on soil organic carbon fractions in three subtropical forests in southern China显示文摘Aims The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of precipitation changes on soil organic carbon(SOC)fractions in subtropical forests where the precipitation pattern has been altered for decades.Methods We conducted field manipulations of precipitation,including ambient precipitation as a control(CK),double precipitation(DP)and no precipitation(NP),for 3 years in three forests with different stand ages(broadleaf forest[BF],mixed forest[MF]and pine forest[PF])in subtropical China.At the end of the experiment,soil samples were collected to assay SOC content,readily oxidizable organic carbon(ROC)and non-readily oxidizable organic carbon(NROC),as well as soil microbial biomass carbon(MBC),pH and total nitrogen content.Samples from the forest floors were also collected to analyze carbon(C)functional groups(i.e.alkyl C,aromatic C,O-alkyl C and carbonyl C).Furthermore,fine root biomass was measured periodically throughout the experiment.Important Findings Among the forests,ROC content did not exhibit any notable differences,while NROC content increased significantly with the stand age.This finding implied that the SOC accumulation observed in these forests resulted from the accumulation of NROC in the soil,a mechanism for SOC accumulation in the mature forests of southern China.Moreover,NP treatment led to significant reductions in both ROC and NROC content and therefore reduced the total SOC content in all of the studied forests.Such decreases may be due to the lower plant-derived C inputs(C quantity)and to the changes in SOC components(C quality)indicated by C functional groups analyses under NP treatment.DP treatment in all the forests also tended to decrease the SOC content,although the decreases were not statistically significant with the exception of SOC and ROC content in PF.This finding indicated that soils in MF and in BF may be more resistant to precipitation increases,possibly due to less water limitations under natural conditions in the two forests.Our results therefore highlight the different responses of SOC and its fractions to precipitation changes among the forests and suggest that further studies are needed to improve our understanding of SOC dynamics in such an important C sink region.Xiaomei Chen Deqiang Zhang Guohua Liang Qingyan Qiu Juxiu Liu Guoyi Zhou Shizhong Liu Guowei Chu Junhua Yan 2016Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,1:4
6Aerodynamic optimization and evaluation for the three-dimensional afterbody/nozzle integrated configuration of hypersonic vehicles显示文摘The optimization of 2D expansion lines and key parameters of three-dimensional configurations was carried out under simulated conditions of Mach 6.5 and a flight altitude of 25 km for an integrated configuration of the afterbody/nozzle of a hypersonic vehicle.First,the cubic B-spline method was applied to parameterize the expansion lines of the upper expansion ramp.The optimization procedure was established based on computational fluid dynamics and the sequential quadratic programming method.The local mesh reconstruction technique was applied to improve computational efficiency.A three-dimensional integrated configuration afterbody/nozzle was designed based on the two-dimensional optimized expansion lines.The influence rules incorporated certain key design parameters affecting the lift and thrust performance of the configuration,such as the ratio of the lengths of the lower expansion ramp to the afterbody (l/L),the dip angle of the lower expansion ramp ω,and the ratio of exit height to the length of afterbody (H/L).Under these conditions,we found that the integrated configuration has optimal performance when l/L=1/6,H/L=0.35 and =10°.We also showed that the presence of a side-board promotes lift and thrust performance,and effectively prevents the leakage of high pressure gas.GAO TaiYuan CUI Kai WANG XiuPing HU ShouChao YANG GuoWei REN Liang 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,8:4
7Adaptive Attitude Control for Multi-MUAV Systems With Output Dead-Zone and Actuator Fault显示文摘Many mechanical parts of multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(MUAV)can easily produce non-smooth phenomenon and the external disturbance that affects the stability of MUAV.For multi-MUAV attitude systems that experience output dead-zone,external disturbance and actuator fault,a leader-following consensus anti-disturbance and fault-tolerant control(FTC)scheme is proposed in this paper.In the design process,the effect of unknown nonlinearity in multi-MUAV systems is addressed using neural networks(NNs).In order to balance out the effects of external disturbance and actuator fault,a disturbance observer is designed to compensate for the aforementioned negative impacts.The Nussbaum function is used to address the problem of output dead-zone.The designed fault-tolerant controller guarantees that the output signals of all followers and leader are synchronized by the backstepping technique.Finally,the effectiveness of the control scheme is verified by simulation experiments.Guowei Dong Liang Cao Deyin Yao Hongyi Li Renquan Lu 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,9:4
8Variation of crystal orientation during epitaxial growth of dendrites by laser deposition显示文摘A nickel-based superalloy was deposited onto a single crystal substrate based on epitaxial laser metal forming(E-LMF). The microstructure development in two depositions has been researched. For the first time, the crystal orientation of dendrites varying beyond 20° was found when the dendrites deflected in deposition. In addition, a new grain boundary was found between different orientation dendrites in a grain, and the detected grain boundary angle was 23°. 9Prediction of Dendrite Orientation and Stray Grain Distribution in Laser Surface-melted Single Crystal Superalloy显示文摘A vectorization analysis technique for crystal growth and microstructure development in single-crystal weld was developed in our previous work. Based on the vectorization method, crystal growth and stray grain distribution in laser surface remelting of single crystal superalloy CMSX-4 were investigated in combination of simulations with experimental observations. The energy distribution of laser was taken into consideration in this research. The experimental results demonstrate that the simulation model applies well in the prediction of dendrite growth direction. 11Effect of extract from Yiyuan Yiliu Tang(益元抑瘤汤)on human lung adenocarcinoma and human hepatoma cell lines显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of the extract from Yiyuan Yiliu Tang(益元抑瘤汤,YYYLT)on human lung adenocarcinoma cells A549 and human hepatoma cells Bel7402.METHODS:The cancer cell lines were treated with various concentrations(0,100,200,300,and400μg/m L)of the crude water extract of YYYLT and then cell viability,toxicity,cytokine secretion,and cell cycle/apoptosis were determined by MTT assay,LDH assay,and flow cytometry,respectively.RESULTS:The extract from YYYLT significantly suppressed the proliferation of the cancer cell lines and the release of interleukin-2 and tumor necrosis factor-αin a dose-dependent manner.The extract also promoted apoptosis,caused cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase,and increased the expression of caspase-3,B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),and Bcl-2-associated X proteins.CONCLUSION:The extract from YYYLT might be a potential treatment for human lung and liver cancers.Yl Qingqing CHANG Qing LIANG Dongyu CAI Weiwei QIU Liying YANG Rong JIANG Guowei 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,1:1
12Granitoid emplacement during syn-convergent transtension:An example from the Huamenlou pluton in North Qinling,central China显示文摘The Huamenlou pluton,is an elongated granite intrusion with high aspect ratio,emplaced within the southern margin of the North Qinling(central China).Here we investigate this pluton through multiple techniques including the fabric study,microstructural observation and zircon geochronology.Our zircon U-Pb data confirm that the granite crystallized at ca.462 Ma which is consistent with the ages of other linear plutons in North Qinling.Microstructural observations of the Huamenlou granites illustrate that the pluton has undergone superimposed deformation during its emplacement,from magmatic to hightemperature solid state conditions.The internal fabric obtained by anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS)and shape preferred orientation(SPO)show similar results.The fabrics are relatively concordant and generally vary from NE-SW to NEE-SWW which are roughly oblique to the trend of the pluton elongation and the regional structures.Meanwhile,scalar parameters reflect two completely different strain regimes for the pluton and its host rocks,i.e.,the fabrics within host rocks are mainly oblate while the central part of the intrusion displays mainly prolate fabrics.It is inferred that the structural pattern recorded in this pluton was caused by local dextral transtension in consequence of oblique convergence between the South and North China Blocks.We propose that the local transtension in convergence setting probably evolved from vertical extrusion tectonics that provided room for the magma emplacement and imparted prolate fabrics in the Huamenlou pluton.Yang Li Wentian Liang Guowei Zhang Yazhou Ran Qi Shen Jingli Wang Chunsheng Jin 2018Geoscience Frontiers2018,9,1:1

15Understanding the role of interface in advanced semiconductor nanostructure and its interplay with wave function overlap显示文摘As the proportion of interfaces increases rapidly in nanomaterials,properties and quality of interfaces hugely impact the performance of advanced semiconductors.Here,the effect of interfaces is explored by comparatively studying two InAs/AlSb superlattices with and without the thin InAsSb layers inserted inside each InAs layers.Through strain mapping,it indicates that the addition of interfaces leads to an increase of local strain both near interfaces and inside layers.Meantime,owing to the creation of hole potential wells within the original electron wells,the charge distribution undergoes an extra electron-hole alternating arrangement in the structure with inserted layers than the uninserted counterpart.Such a feature is verified to enhance electron-hole wave function overlap by theoretical simulations,which is a must for better optical performance.Furthermore,with an elaborate design of the inserted layers,the wave function overlap could be boosted without sacrificing other key device performances.Chenyuan Cai Yunhao Zhao Faran Chang Xuebing Zhao Liting Yang Chongyun Liang Guowei Wang Zhichuan Niu Yi Shi Xianhu Liu Yuesheng Li Renchao Che 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:1

18Sphingosine kinase 1 promotes tumor immune evasion by regulating the MTA3-PD-L1 axis显示文摘Immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)exhibits considerable benefits in malignancies,but its overall response rate is limited.Previous studies have shown that sphingosine kinases(SPHKs)are critical in the tumor microenvironment(TME),but their role in immunotherapy is unclear.We performed integrative analyses including bioinformatics analysis,functional study,and clinical validation to investigate the role of SPHK1 in tumor immunity.Functionally,we demonstrated that the inhibition of SPHK1 significantly suppressed tumor growth by promoting antitumor immunity in immunocompetent melanoma mouse models and tumor T-cell cocultures.A mechanistic analysis revealed that MTA3 functions as the downstream target of SPHK1 in transcriptionally regulating tumor PD-L1.Preclinically,we found that anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody(mAb)treatment significantly rescued tumor SPHK1 overexpression or tumor MTA3 overexpression-mediated immune evasion.Significantly,we identified SPHK1 and MTA3 as biological markers for predicting the efficacy of anti-PD-1 mAb therapy in melanoma patients.Our findings revealed a novel role for SPHK1 in tumor evasion mediated by regulating the MTA3-PD-L1 axis,identified SPHK1 and MTA3 as predictors for assessing the efficacy of PD-1 mAb treatment,and provided a therapeutic possibility for the treatment of melanoma patients.Poyee Lau Guanxiong Zhang Shuang Zhao Long Liang Hailun Zhang Guowei Zhou Mien-Chie Hung Xiang Chen Hong Liu 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,10:1
