1Episodic crustal anatexis and the formation of Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan Gneiss Dome, Southern Tibet显示文摘The Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan gneiss dome within the Tethyan Himalaya consists of tourmaline leucogranite,two-mica granite and garnet-bearing leucogranite.Zircon U-Pb dating yields that(1)tourmaline leucogranite formed at28.2±0.5 Ma and its source rock experienced simultaneous metamorphism and anatexis at 33.6±0.6 Ma;(2)two-mica granite formed at 19.8±0.5 Ma;(3)both types of leucogranite contain inherited zircon grains with an age peak at^480 Ma.These leucogranites show distinct geochemistry in major and trace elements as well as in Sr-Nd-Hf isotope compositions.As compared to the two-mica granites,the tourmaline ones have higher initial Sr and zircon Hf isotope compositions,indicating that they were derived from different source rocks combined with different melting reactions.Combined with available literature data,it is suggested that anatexis at^35 Ma along the Himalayan orogenic belt might have triggered the initial movement of the Southern Tibetan Detachment System(STDS),and led to the tectonic transition from compressive shortening to extension.Such a tectonic transition could be a dominant factor that initiates large scale decompressional melting of fertile high-grade metapelites along the Himalayan orogenic belt.Crustal anatexis at^28 Ma and^20 Ma represent large-scale melting reactions associated with the movement of the STDS.GAO LiE ZENG LingSen HOU KeJun GUO ChunLi TANG SuoHan XIE KeJia HU GuYue WANG Li 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28:23
2Estimation and prediction of plastic waste annual input into the sea from China显示文摘Marine plastic debris has been a pervasive issue since the last century, and research on its sources and fates plays a vital role in the establishment of mitigation measures. However, data on the quantity of plastic waste that enters the sea on a certain timescale remain largely unavailable in China. Here, we established a model using material flow analysis method based on life cycle assessment to follow plastic product from primary plastic to plastic waste with statistical data and monitoring data from accurate sources. This model can be used to estimate and forecast the annual input of plastic waste into the sea from China until 2020. In 2011, 0.547 3–0.751 5 million tons of plastic waste entered the seas in China, with a growth rate of 4.55% per year until 2017. And the amount will decrease to0.257 1 to 0.353 1 million tons in 2020 under the influence of governmental management. 3A novel deletion mutation, c.1296delT in the BCOR gene, is associated with oculo-facio-cardio-dental syndrome显示文摘The purpose of the present study was to analyze the clinical phenotypes of a girl with oculo-facio-cardio-dental(OFCD)syndrome and to identify the potential pathogenic mutation responsible for her disease. The patient underwent detailed clinical examinations and phenotype data were collected over a follow-up period of 9 years. Mutation analysis of the candidate gene BCOR was performed with polymerase chain reaction and Sanger sequencing. BCOR of 60 unrelated normal individuals were also sequenced as a control group. Clinical phenotyping and follow-up study results indicate that this patient had multiple system anomalies including ocular, facial, cardiac, dental, and limb malformations. In addition, papilloma of the choroid plexus was identified, which represents the first report of this phenotype in an OFCD patient. A novel deletion mutation, c.1296 delT in exon4 of the BCOR gene, was identified in this patient and was not found in her parents or in 60 normal unrelated individuals. This deletion was a frameshift mutation and is proposed to encode a premature stop codon, thus producing a truncated protein. Our patient fitted the diagnostic criteria for OFCD syndrome and we report the first papilloma of the choroid plexus in an OFCD patient, expanding the recognized phenotypic spectrum of this disease. 4Image segmentation algorithm for greenhouse cucumber canopy under various natural lighting conditions显示文摘In this study,machine vision technology was used to capture images of greenhouse cucumber canopy,and image segmentation was implemented under various natural lighting conditions.The images were enhanced by multi-scale retinex with color restore(MSRCR),and the MSRCR images were segmented by four algorithms:normalized difference index(NDI),excess green(ExG),modified excess green(MExG),and modified excess green minus excess red(MExG-ExR).The results indicated that compared with the original images,under various lighting conditions,the average evaluation indexes of brightness,information entropy,average gradient and mean gray value of the MSRCR images were increased by 38.71%,8.04%,4.54%,and 37.81%,respectively,and only the contrast degree decreased by 12.13%.The MExG-ExR segmentation algorithm was used to segment the MSRCR images(fifty images under various lighting conditions in the test and it performed best among the four segmentation algorithms,average overlap ratios and recognition rates of were 99.28%and 98.91%,respectively,while 38.39%and 37.95%respectively for original image.These results indicated that the MExG-ExR segmentation algorithm applied to a MSRCR canopy image produced the most stable results among the four algorithms.By using the MSRCR image enhancement algorithm,the interference of lighting on greenhouse cucumber canopy images was reduced and the foundation for achieving accurate segmentation of a canopy region was laid,which is of great significance for greenhouse cucumber phenotypic parameter measurements.Sun Guoxiang Li Yongbo Wang Xiaochan Hu Guyue Wang Xuan Zhang Yu 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3:4
5Multi-modal anti-counterfeiting and encryption enabled through silicon-based materials featuring pH-responsive fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence显示文摘Nano Research volume 13,pages1614–1619(2020)Cite this article 236 Accesses Metrics details Abstract Optical silicon(Si)-based materials are highly attractive due to their widespread applications ranging from electronics to biomedicine.It is worth noting that while extensive efforts have been devoted to developing fluorescent Si-based structures,there currently exist no examples of Si-based materials featuring phosphorescence emission,severely limiting Si-based wide-ranging optical applications.To address this critical issue,we herein introduce a kind of Si-based material,in which metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are in-situ growing on the surface of Si nanoparticles(SiNPs)assisted by microwave irradiation.Of particular significance,the resultant materials,i.e.,MOFs-encapsulated SiNPs(MOFs@SiNPs)could exhibit pH-responsive fluorescence,whose maximum emission wavelength is red-shifted from 442 to 592 nm when the pH increases from 2 to 13.More importantly,distinct room-temperature phosphorescence(maximum emission wavelength:505 nm)could be observed in this system,with long lifetime of 215 ms.Taking advantages of above-mentioned unique optical properties,the MOFs@SiNPs are further employed as high-quality anti-counterfeiting inks for advanced encryption.In comparison to conventional fluorescence anti-counterfeiting techniques(static fluorescence outputs are generally used,thus being easily duplicated and leading to counterfeiting risk),pH-responsive fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence of the resultant MOFs@SiNPs-based ink could offer advanced multi-modal security,which is therefore capable of realizing higher-level information security against counterfeiting.Jinhua Wang Bin Song Jiali Tang Guyue Hu Jingyang Wang Mingyue Cui Yao He 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:3
6A novel artificial noise aided security scheme to resist blind source separation attacks显示文摘In this paper,we discuss the physical layer security from a new angle of view and propose a novel approach to resist some attacks in signal processing perspective.The scenario considered in this paper is that the eavesdropper has the similar channel performance compared to the legitimate receiver.We design the optimal artificial noise(AN)to resist the attacks of the eavesdropper who uses the blind source separation(BSS)technology to reconstruct the secret information.For speech signals,the optimal AN is obtained by minimizing the maximum of the correlation coefficients between the source signal and the received signals at Eve and the correlation coefficients between the source signal and separated results of BSS.For binary phase shift keying(BPSK)signals,we maximize the minimum bit error rates(BERs)of the separated signals and the obtained signals at Eve.Moreover,we consider the AN design from the point of breaking the BSS conditions,and propose a method by changing the correlation coefficient randomly.The simulation results show that the AN we proposed has better performance than that of the white Gaussian AN to resist the BSS attacks for both speech signals and the BPSK signals.Guyue Li Aiqun Hu Yongming Huang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,32:3
7TGF-β regulation of microRNA miR-497-5p and ocular lens epithelial cell mesenchymal transition显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of a human lens microRNA(miR-497-5p) in regulating epithelialmesenchymal transition(EMT) under the control of transforming growth factor beta(TGF-β). A microRNA array was used to evaluate the microRNA profiles of untreated and TGF-β-treated human lens epithelial cells in culture. This showed that TGF-βtreatment led to the upregulation of 96 microRNAs and downregulation of 39 microRNAs. Thirteen microRNAs were predicted to be involved in the pathogenesis of posterior capsule opacification(PCO). Meanwhile, overexpression of miR-497-5p suppressed cell proliferation and EMT 48 h post-transfection, and inhibition of miR-497-5p accelerated cell proliferation and EMT.Treatment with TGF-β inhibited the expression of miR-497-5p, but not cell proliferation. miR-497-5p was also found to regulate the level of CCNE1 and FGF7, which are reported to be actively involved in EMT. CCNE1 and FGF7 were bona fide targets of miR-497-5p. 8Microfluidic-enabled ambient-temperature synthesis of ultrasmall bimetallic nanoparticles显示文摘The production of bimetallic nanoparticles with ultrasmall sizes is the constant pursuit in chemistry and materials science because of their promising applications in catalysis,electronics and sensing.Here we report ambient-temperature preparation of bimetallic NPs with tunable size and composition using microfluidic-controlled co-reduction of two metal precursors on silicon surface.Instead of free diffusion of metal ions in bulk system,microfluidic flow could well control the local ions concentration,thus leading to homogenous and controllable reduction rate among different nucleation sites.By controlling precursor concentration,flow rate and reaction time,we rationally design a series of bimetallic NPs including Ag-Cu,Ag-Pd,Cu-Pt,Cu-Pd and Pt-Pd NPs with ultrasmall sizes(~3.0 nm),tight size distributions(relative standard deviation(RSD)<21%),clean surface,and homogenous elemental compositions among particles(standard deviation(SD)of weight ratios<3.5%).This approach provides a facile,green and scalable method toward the synthesis of diverse bimetallic NPs with excellent activity.Huayi Shi Bin Song Runzhi Chen Qiang Zhang Guyue Hu Jing Li Jinhua Wang Xinyu Meng Houyu Wang Yao He 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:2
9SEMI-SUPERVISED RADIO TRANSMITTER CLASSIFICATION BASED ON ELASTIC SPARSITY REGULARIZED SVM显示文摘Non-collaborative radio transmitter recognition is a significant but challenging issue, since it is hard or costly to obtain labeled training data samples. In order to make effective use of the unlabeled samples which can be obtained much easier, a novel semi-supervised classification method named Elastic Sparsity Regularized Support Vector Machine (ESRSVM) is proposed for radio transmitter classification. ESRSVM first constructs an elastic-net graph over data samples to capture the robust and natural discriminating information and then incorporate the information into the manifold learning framework by an elastic sparsity regularization term. 10Cobalt and nitrogen codoped porous carbon as superior bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline medium显示文摘Cobalt and nitrogen codoped carbon materials(Co-N-C) were fabricated by pyrolysis of the mixture of poly(4-vinylpyridine) and cobalt chloride using SiO_2 nanoparticles as hard template, which were the first transition metal/nitrogen-codoped carbon bifunctional electrocatalyst derived from noncarbonizable polymer for ORR and HER. The as-made Co-N-C possessed hierarchical pore structure and high specific surface area, achieving excellent electrocatalytic performances for ORR and HER. Its ORR catalytic performances were comparable to those of Pt/C catalyst and its HER catalytic performances were superior to those of most doped carbon catalysts in KOH electrolyte. 19Miocene Crustal Anatexis of Paleozoic Orthogneiss in the Zhada Area,Western Himalaya显示文摘Granitic gneiss(orthogneiss)and Himalayan leucogranite are widely distributed in the Himalayan orogen,but whether or not the granitic gneiss made a contribution to the Himalayan leucogranite remains unclear.In this study,we present the petrological,geochronological and geochemical results for orthogneisses and leucogranites from the Zhada area,Western Himalayas.Zhada orthogneiss is composed mainly of quartz,plagioclase,K-feldspar,biotite and muscovite,with accessory zircon and apatite.Orthogneiss zircon cathodoluminescence(CL)images show that most grains contain a core with oscillatory zoning,which indicates an igneous origin.Sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe(SHRIMP)U-Pb dating of the zircon cores in the orthogneiss shows a weighted ^(206)Pb/^(238)U age of 515±4 Ma(early Paleozoic),with sponge-like zircon rims of 17.9±0.5 Ma(Miocene).Zhada leucogranite shows^(206)Pb/^(238)U ages ranging from 19.0±0.4 Ma to 12.4±0.2 Ma,the weighted average age being 16.2±0.4 Ma.The leucogranites have a low Ca content(<1 wt%),FeOt content(<1 wt%),Rb content(67.0-402 ppm),Sr content(<56.6 ppm),Ba content(3.35-238 ppm)and Rb/Sr ratio(0.5-14.7),which are similar to the geochemical characteristics of the Himalayan leucogranite derived from muscovite dehydration partial melting of metasediments and representative of most Himalayan leucogranites.The highly variable Na_(2)O+K_(2)O(4.33 wt%-9.13 wt%),Al_(2)O_(3)(8.44 wt%-13.51 wt%),ΣREE(40.2-191.0 ppm),Rb(67.0-402 ppm)and Nb(8.23-26.4 ppm)contents,^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr(t)ratios(0.7445-0.8605)andεNd(t)values(−3.6 to−8.2)indicate that the leucogranite is derived from a heterogenetic source.The nonradiogenic Nd isotope values of the studied Zhada leucogranite and orthogneiss range from−8.2 to−3.6 and from−8.7 to−4.1,respectively.Therefore,the general mixing equation was used to perform the Sr and Nd isotope mixing calculations.The results indicate that the heterogenetic source was the Tethyan Himalayan Sequence(THS)/Higher Himalayan Crystalline(HHC)metasediments and Zhada orthogneiss.The Zhada area experienced crustal anatexis during the Miocene and the heterogenetic source of the orthogneiss and metasediment may have experienced crustal anatexis controlled by muscovite dehydration.The Zhada leucogranite inherited not only the geochemical characteristics of the Himalayan metasediment(muscovite dehydration melting),but also the trace elements and Sr-Nd isotopic characteristics of the Zhada orthogneiss.These results indicate that the Paleozoic Zhada orthogneiss was involved in crustal anatexis at 17.9±0.5 Ma(Miocene)and that the muscovite dehydration of the metasediments in the heterogenetic source produced fluid,which may have caused the orthogneiss solidus lines to decline,triggering a partial melting of the Zhada orthogneiss.It is therefore proposed that Himalayan leucogranite is a crust-derived granite rather than a S-type granite,as previously hypothesized.CHEN Han HU Guyue ZENG Lingsen YU Xuhui LI Yike 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3:1
