| 1 | A Passive Anti-icing Strategy Based on a Superhydrophobic Mesh with Extremely Low Ice Adhesion Strength显示文摘Although superhydrophobic materials have attracted much research interest in anti-icing,some controversy still exists.In this research,we report a cost-effective method used to verify the contribution of area fraction to ice adhesion strength.We tried to partially-embed siliea nanopnarticles into microscale fabrics of a commercial polyamide mesh.Then,the area fraction could be determined by altering the mesh size.Generally,the ice adhesion strength decreases as the area fraction decreases.An ice adhesion strength of~1.9 kPa and a delayed freezing time of~1048 s can be obtained.We attribute the low ice adhesion strength to the combination of superhydro-phobicity and stress concentration.The superhydrophobicity prohibits the water from penetrating into the voids of the meshes,and the small actual contact area leads to stress concentration which promotes interfacial crack propagation.Moreover,our superhydrophobic mesh simultaneously exhibis a micro-nano hierarchical structure and a partally-cmbedded structure.Therefore,the as-prepared superhydrophobic mesh retained the ieephobicity after 20 icingldeicing cycles,and maintained its superhydrophobicity even afier 60 sandpaper-abrasion cycles and a 220'C thermal treatment. | Peng Wang Ziqiang Li Qing Xie wei Duan Xinchun Zhang Huilong Han | 2021 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,1: | 9 |

| 3 | Stochastic Petri Net Based Modeling of Emergency Medical Rescue Processes During Earthquakes显示文摘The post-disaster emergency medical rescue(EMR) is critical for people’s lives. This paper presents a stochastic Petri net(SPN) model based on the process of the rescue structure and a Markov chain model(MC), which is applied to the optimization of the EMR process, with the aim of identifying the key activities of EMR. An isomorphic MC model is developed for measuring and evaluating the time performance of the EMR process during earthquakes with the data of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake.This paper provides a mathematical approach to simulate the process and to evaluate the efficiency of EMR. Simultaneously, the expressions of the steady state probabilities of this system under various states are obtained based on the MC, and the variations of the probabilities are analyzed by changing the firing rates for every transition. Based on the concrete data of the event, the authors find the most time consuming and critical activities for EMR decisions. | 4 | Long-term clinical observation of patients with acute and chronic complete spinal cord injury after transplantation of Neuro Regen scaffold显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI)often results in an inhibitory environment at the injury site.In our previous studies,transplantation of a scaffold combined with stem cells was proven to induce neural regeneration in animal models of complete SCI.Based on these preclinical studies,collagen scaffolds loaded with the patients’own bone marrow mononuclear cells or human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells were transplanted into SCI patients.Fifteen patients with acute complete SCI and 51 patients with chronic complete SCI were enrolled and followed up for 2 to 5 years.No serious adverse events related to functional scaffold transplantation were observed.Among the patients with acute SCI,five patients achieved expansion of their sensory positions and six patients recovered sensation in the bowel or bladder.Additionally,four patients regained voluntary walking ability accompanied by reconnection of neural signal transduction.Among patients with chronic SCI,16 patients achieved expansion of their sensation level and 30 patients experienced enhanced reflexive defecation sensation or increased skin sweating below the injury site.Nearly half of the patients with chronic cervical SCI developed enhanced finger activity.These long-term follow-up results suggest that functional scaffold transplantation may represent a feasible treatment for patients with complete SCI. | Fengwu Tang Jiaguang Tang Yannan Zhao Jiaojiao Zhang Zhifeng Xiao Bing Chen Guang Han Na Yin Xianfeng Jiang Changyu Zhao Shixiang Cheng Ziqiang Wang Yumei Chen Qiaoling Chen Keran Song Zhiwei Zhang Junjie Niu Lingjun Wang Qin Shi Liang Chen Huilin Yang Shuxun Hou Sai Zhang Jianwu Dai | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5: | 3 |

| 9 | Strong tunability of cooperative energy transfer in Mn2+-doped (Yb3+, Er3+)/NaYF4 nanocrystals by coupling with silver nanorod array显示文摘Fluorescent rare-earth ions are useful for efficient energy transfer via multi- channels with different properties. Tuning these transfer processes in functional rare-earth materials has attracted considerable attention to satisfy the various demands of diverse practical applications. In this study, strong tunabilities of cooperative energy transfer and nonlinear upconversion emissions are realized using (Yb3+, Er3+)/NaYF4 nanocrystals with and without doped Mn2~ ions by adopting a plasmonic nanocavity composed of a silver nanorod array. The plasmon nanocavity can not only increase the energy transfer between Mn2+ and (Yb3+, Er3+) but also significantly enhance the radiative emission. This reveals a prominent nonlinear gain in the nanocavity nanosystems. | 13 | The As-surface of an iron-based superconductor CaKFe_(4)As_(4)显示文摘As a new type of iron-based superconductor, CaKFe_(4)As_(4) has recently been demonstrated to be a promising platform for observing Majorana zero modes (MZMs). The surface of CaKFe_(4)As_(4) plays an important role in realizing the MZM since it hosts superconducting topological surface states. However, due to the complicated crystal structure, the terminal surface of CaKFe_(4)As_(4) has not been determined yet. Here, by using scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy (STM/S), we find that there are two types of surface structure in CaKFe_(4)As_(4). Bias-dependent atomic resolution images show an evolvement from 2–√×2–√ superstructure with respect to the As lattice into 1 × 1 when the tip is brought close to the surface, revealing the sublattice of missing As atoms. Together with the first-principles calculations, we show that the surface As layer has a buckled structure. | 14 | Polymorphism in the Ras andβ-Glucosidase Genes and Their Association with Growth Traits in the Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas显示文摘The Ras gene,a conserved member of the insulin pathway,andβ-glucosidase gene,an important cellulase,are two important growth-related genes.However,there is no study on the association between mutations of these two genes and growth traits in bivalves.Here,the polymorphism of these two genes in Crassostrea gigas were revealed.Their association with growth traits was evaluated in 290 oysters from five families,and was further confirmed in another 186 oysters from three fast-growing strains.Seventeen and twelve SNPs were identified in the Ras gene andβ-glucosidase gene,respectively.Among these SNPs,four SNPs in each gene(Ras:C.86C>A,C.90T>C,C.112A>G and C.118G>A;β-glucosidase:C.247G>A,C.284C>T,C.1260C>T and C.1293T>C)were significantly(P<0.05)associated with the growth of these oysters.Furthermore,eight and nine haplotypes were constructed in the Ras gene andβ-glucosidase gene,respectively.Oysters with both haplotypes R-Hap5(CCAA)andβ-Hap7(ACCT),or with both R-Hap 6(ATGG)andβ-Hap 6(ACTC),or with both R-Hap 6 andβ-Hap 9(ACTT),or with both R-Hap 7(ATAA)andβ-Hap 7,showed the highest growth performances.These results provide candidate markers for selecting C.gigas with fast growth. | HAN Ziqiang CONG Rihao LI Qi | 2021 | Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,6: | 0 |
| 15 | Mechanism of Lingbao Huxin Dan(灵宝护心丹)in the treatment of bradyarrhythmia complicated with coronary heart disease:a network pharmacology analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the mechanism of action of the Lingbao Huxin Dan(灵宝护心丹)in treating bradycardia arrhythmia with coronary heart disease(BACHD)by network pharmacology.METHODS:The active ingredients of the Lingbao Huxin Dan were screened on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform and Bioinformatics tools designed for the analysis of molecular mechanisms of Chinese medicine platform;target prediction was conducted with the SwissTargetPrediction database,and Cytoscape 3.8 was used to construct a drug ingredient-target network.The Genecards,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man,and DrugB ank databases were searched for disease targets.Venn plots were used to display the common targets of BA-CHD and active ingredients.The STRING platform was used to construct a protein-protein interaction network.The Metascape data platform was used for Gene Ontology(GO)enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis to construct a signaling pathway network of the active ingredients of the Lingbao Huxin Dan.RESULTS:There were 121 active ingredients,899 related targets,39 targets important in BA-CHD and 14 targets which intersected between the active ingredients and BA-CHD.There were 27 core therapeutic ingredients,153 biological processes,18 cell ingredients and 20 molecular functions obtained by GO enrichment analysis.The KEGG pathway analysis yielded 19 signaling pathways.CONCLUSION:RBA-CHD may treat BA-CHD by regulating adrenergic receptor beta-1,alpha 1-αadrenergic receptor,calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 C,alpha-1β-adrenergic receptor,nitric oxide synthase 2,beta-2 adrenergic receptor,voltagedependent calcium channel subunit alpha-2/delta-1,angiotensin-converting enzyme,Raf-1 proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase,and other targets,potentially by affecting adrenergic receptor binding and calcium channel opening,to regulate the activity of cardiomyocytes. | HAN Huagang LI Ziqiang OUYANG Jingfeng WANG Tianquan DONG Lingyan CAO Junling | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,5: | 0 |

| 19 | Metal/antiperovskite metal nitride composites Ag/AgNNi_(3)as novel efficient electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline media显示文摘Searching for effective hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts is crucial for water splitting.Transition metal nitrides(TMNs)are very attractive potential candidates since of high electrical conductivity,robust stability,element rich and high activity.Antiperovskite metal nitrides provide chemical flexibility since two different types of transition metal elements are contained,allowing partial substitution both for A-and M-sites.Herein,we report a novel antiperovskite metal nitride Ag_(x)Ni_(1-x)NNi_(3)(0≤x≤0.80)thin film used as highly effective HER electrocatalysts.Pure phase antiperovskite nitride can be successfully obtained for Ag_(x)Ni_(1-x)NNi_(3)with x less than 0.80.The Ag_(0.76)Ni_(0.24)NNi_(3) towards HER shows an overpotential of 122 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)in alkaline media.Furthermore,considering the role of Ag for adsorbing hydroxyl groups,chemical engineering has been carried out for designing metal/antiperovskite nitride Ag/Ag_(x)Ni_(1-x)NNi_(3)composite electrocatalysts.The 0.18 Ag/Ag_(0.80)Ni_(0.20)NNi_(3)electrocatalyst shows a mere 13 and 81 mV of overpotential to reach 1 and 10 mA cm^(-2),respectively,showing high durability in alkaline media.These results will provide a novel type of HER catalysts based on antiperovskite metal nitrides and a strategic design for metal/antiperovskite metal nitride composite electrocatalysts for HER in alkaline media. | Lili Zhu Bingbing Yang Ziqiang Wu Changdian Li Han Li Hui Li Yanan Huang Xiaoguang Zhu Xuebin Zhu Yuping Sun | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17: | 0 |
| 20 | Relationship Between Shell Color and Growth and Survival Traits in the Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas显示文摘Shell color is regarded as an economic trait in many breeding programs of bivalve mollusks,but the relationship between shell color and production traits remains controversial.In our breeding program of Crassostrea gigas,solid white,black,and orange shell lines were obtained,and second-generation(F2)and testcross families with segregating shell colors were constructed by crossing these three lines.These segregating families provided ideal samples for investigating the relationship between shell color and production traits in C.gigas.The growth and survival of 7-month-old oysters with different shell colors sampled within the same families were compared in seven F2 families and 13 testcrosses.In addition,the growth and survival of oysters from the three shell color lines were compared at 4 and 16 months of age.The growth and survival rates of the orange shell line were significantly lower than those of the white and black shell lines.However,no significant difference in growth between oysters with different shell colors was observed within segregating families,except the testcrosses produced by crossing orange-and white-shelled grandparents,and no significant difference in survival was observed in any family.Overall,no significant correlation was observed between shell color and production traits in C.gigas.These results suggest that shell color cannot be used as a marker to guide the selection of growth and survival traits.Thus shell color and production traits should be selected independently in oyster breeding programs. | HAN Ziqiang LI Qi | 2021 | Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,4: | 0 |
