1Equilibrium Phase Constituents and Discontinuous Precipitation Behavior of Al-Zn-Cu Alloy with Symmetrical Composition显示文摘Through microstructure observation and X-ray diffraction analysis, the equilibrium phase constituents of Al-Zn alloythat contains 2 at. pct Cu at room temperature have been determined as Al-based solid solution (α), Zn-based solidsolution and Al4Cu3Zn phase (T′-phase), which are different from α phase, Zn phase and CuZn4 phase originallybelieved. It is determined that the products of discontinuous precipitation transformation below 277℃ are not theequilibrium phase constituents, but the metastable phases made up of α phase, Zn phase and CuZn4 phase. 2Effect of Cu on Discontinuous Precipitation of a Symmetrical AlZn Alloy显示文摘The effect of Cu additions on discontinuous precipitation of AlZn alloy were studied with optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. It is found that the effect of addition of 2 at. pct Cu on cellular nucleation site is not remarkable, while the effect of aging temperature on cellular nucleation site of AlZn and AlZn-2Cu alloys is fairly obvious. The cell growth rate of discontinuous precipitation of AlZn alloy is remarkably accelerated with the addition of 2 at. pct Cu. The discontinuous precipitation microstructure of AlZn alloy is not apparently affected with the addition of 2 at. pct Cu and the cellular front is still fine microstructure of spinodal decomposition. The phase constituents consist of a fcc Al-rich phase, a hcp Zn-rich phase and a CuZn4 phase. 3RECQL4 regulates DNA damage response and redox homeostasis in esophageal cancer显示文摘Objective:RECQL4(a member of the RECQ helicase family)upregulation has been reported to be associated with tumor progression in several malignancies.However,whether RECQL4 sustains esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)has not been elucidated.In this study,we determined the functional role for RECQL4 in ESCC progression.Methods:RECQL4 expression in clinical samples of ESCC was examined by immunohistochemistry.Cell proliferation,cellular senescence,the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),DNA damage,and reactive oxygen species in ESCC cell lines with RECQL4 depletion or overexpression were analyzed.The levels of proteins involved in the DNA damage response(DDR),cell cycle progression,survival,and the EMT were determined by Western blot analyses.Results:RECQL4 was highly expressed in tumor tissues when compared to adjacent non-tumor tissues in ESCC(P<0.001)and positively correlated with poor differentiation(P=0.011),enhanced invasion(P=0.033),and metastasis(P=0.048).RECQL4 was positively associated with proliferation and migration in ESCC cells.Depletion of RECQL4 also inhibited growth of tumor xenografts in vivo.RECQL4 depletion induced G0/G1 phase arrest and cellular senescence.Importantly,the levels of DNA damage and reactive oxygen species were increased when RECQL4 was depleted.DDR,as measured by the activation of ATM,ATR,CHK1,and CHK2,was impaired.RECQL4 was also shown to promote the activation of AKT,ERK,and NF-k B in ESCC cells.Conclusions:The results indicated that RECQL4 was highly expressed in ESCC and played critical roles in the regulation of DDR,redox homeostasis,and cell survival.Guosheng Lyu Peng Su Xiaohe Hao Shiming Chen Shuai Ren Zixiao Zhao Yaoqin Gong Qiao Liu Changshun Shao 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:2

9Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Si Cp/2024 Aluminum Matrix Composite显示文摘SiCp/2024 aluminum alloy matrix composite was prepared by powder metallurgy method. Effects of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of composite were investigated by SEM, EDS, XRD, HREM, tensile and hardness tests. The experimental results showed that SiC particles distributed uniformly in the matrix and were in good combination with matrix. The tensile strength and hardness were improved significantly after heat treatment. With the increase of solid solution temperature, the alloy phases dissolved in the matrix gradually. When the solid solution temperature arrived at 505 ℃, the alloy phases dissolved thoroughly, and the composite exhibited the highest tensile strength and hardness(σb=360 MPa, HBS=104). The main strengthening phase was Al_2Cu, which was granular and distributed dispersively in the matrix. 10Phase equilibria in the Mg-rich corner of the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C显示文摘The phase equilibria in the Mg-rich corner of the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C have been investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron probe microanalysis. It has been shown that the linear compound (Mg,Zn)17La2 existed in the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C. The linear compound (so-called T phase) was with the C-centred orthorhombic crystal structure induced by the solution of significant quantities of the third element. 15Thermodynamic prediction of the composition of Fe-based amorphous alloys显示文摘The liquidus univariant lines of the Fe-Nb-B ternary system have been thermodynamically calculated by means of CALPHAD method and Fe-based thermodynamic data. It is found that there are two eutectic reactions in the Fe-rich corner,that is,(1) L(Fe-3Nb-15B) →α+γ+ M2B (1430 K),and (2) L(Fe-10Nb-27B) → FeB + Lc14 + M2B (1575 K). Moreover,the eutectic points are very close to the compositions with high glass forming ability determined experimentally.
