| 2 | Inhalation treatment of primary lung cancer using liposomal curcumin dry powder inhalers显示文摘Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Traditional chemotherapy causes serious toxicity due to the wide bodily distribution of these drugs. Curcumin is a potential anticancer agent but its low water solubility, poor bioavailability and rapid metabolism significantly limits clinical applications. Here we developed a liposomal curcumin dry powder inhaler(LCD) for inhalation treatment of primary lung cancer. LCDs were obtained from curcumin liposomes after freeze-drying. The LCDs had a mass mean aerodynamic diameter of 5.81 μm and a fine particle fraction of 46.71%, suitable for pulmonary delivery. The uptake of curcumin liposomes by human lung cancer A549 cells was markedly greater and faster than that of free curcumin. The high cytotoxicity on A549 cells and the low cytotoxicity of curcumin liposomes on normal human bronchial BEAS-2B epithelial cells yielded a high selection index partly due to increased cell apoptosis. Curcumin powders, LCDs and gemcitabine were directly sprayed into the lungs of rats with lung cancer through the trachea. LCDs showed higher anticancer effects than the other two medications with regard to pathology and the expression of many cancer-related markers including VEGF, malondialdehyde, TNF-α, caspase-3 and BCL-2. | 3 | Effect of Sophora flavescens alkaloid on aerobic vaginitis in gel form for local treatment显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sophora flavescens alkaloid(SFA) in gel form on aerobic vaginitis(AV) and the possible mechanism underlying the effects.METHODS: AV rat models were prepared by intravaginal inoculation of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. SFA gel and placebo gel were intravaginally administered. In vivo antibacterial effects,vaginal microenvironment, vaginal smears, pathological tissues of vaginas, and retention of gel in the vaginal cavity were investigated.RESULTS: SFA gel had much higher antibacterial effect than placebo gel. SFA gel protected the vaginal mucosa from erosion of bacteria. At the same time,they inhibited the inflammatory responses, exhibiting little leukocytes and parabasal cells. Furthermore, the number of vaginal Lactobacilli remarkably increased following administration of SFA gel.However, the vaginal p H did not recover to thehealthy acidic levels after treatment due to the buffering effect of gel. | 4 | Study on Airflow Characteristics in the Semi-Closed Irregular Narrow Flow channel显示文摘The air-jet loom is widely used in the textile industry. The interaction mechanism of airflow and yarn is not clear in such a narrow flow channel, the gas consumption is relatively large, the yarn motion is unstable and the weft insertion is often interrupted during the operation. In order to study the characteristics of the semi-closed flow field in profiled dents, the momentum conservation equation is modified and the model parameters and boundary conditions are set. Compared with the different r, the ratio of profiled dent's thickness and gap, the results show that the smaller the r is, the smaller the velocity fluctuations of the airflow is. When the angle of profiled dents ? is close to zero, the diffusion of the airflow will be less. The experiment is also conducted to verify the result of the simulation with a high-speed camera and pressure sensor in profiled dents. | 5 | Detection and characterization of diverse alpha-and betacoronaviruses from bats in China显示文摘Bats have been implicated as important reservoir hosts of alpha- and betacoronaviruses. In this study, diverse coronaviruses(CoVs) were detected in 50 of 951(positive rate 5.3%) intestinal specimens of eight bat species collected in four provinces and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China by pan-coronavirus RT-PCR screening. Based on 400-nt RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(Rd RP) sequence analysis, eight belonged to genus Alphacoronavirus and 42 to Betacoronavirus.Among the 50 positive specimens, thirteen gave rise to CoV full-length Rd RP gene amplification for further sequence comparison, of which three divergent sequences(two from a unreported province) were subjected to full genome sequencing. Two complete genomes of betacoronaviruses(JTMC15 and JPDB144) and one nearly-complete genome of alphacoronavirus(JTAC2) were sequenced and their genomic organization predicted. The present study has identified additional numbers of genetically diverse bat-borne coronaviruses with a wide distribution in China. | 7 | Nucieocytoplasmic Shuttling of Geminivirus C4 Protein Mediated by Phosphorylation and Myristoylation Is Critical for Viral Pathogenicity显示文摘Many geminivirus C4 proteins induce severe developmental abnormalities in plants.We previously demon- strated that Tomato leaf curl Yunnan virus (TLCYnV)C4 induces plant developmental abnormalities at least partically by decreasing the accumulation of NbSKη,an ortholog of Arabidopsis BIN2 kinase involved in the brassinosteroid signaling pathway,in the nucleus through directing it to the plasma membrane.However, the molecular mechanism by which the membrane-associated C4 modifies the localization of NbSKη in the host cell remains unclear.Here,we show that TLCYnV C4 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein,and that C4 shuttling is accompanied by nuclear export of NbSKTI.TLCYnV C4 is phosphorylated by NbSKη in the nucleus,which promotes myristoylation of the viral protein.Myristoylation of phosphorylated C4 favors its interaction with exportin-α(XPO I);which in turn facilitates nuclear export of the C4/NbSKTI complex. Supporting this model,chemical inhibition of N-myristoyltransferases or exportin-α enhanced nuclear retention of C4,and mutations of the putative phosphorylation or myristoylation sites in C4 resulted in increased nuclear retention ofrC4 and thus decreased severity of C4-induced developmental abnormalities. Firstly, the numerical model was established after analyzing the solenoid valve during its start-up and shut-down. Comparing the simulation data with the practical data, it is verified that the numerical simulation model has a high feasibility. Secondly, excitation voltage and spring pre-compression were adjusted respectively, and the response rules after adjusting were investigated. The research of the study shows: the response time tends to be inverse proportional to the excitation voltage during start-up, and it becomes a constant value with the increase of the excitation voltage; the response time is proportional to the spring pre-compression when the solenoid valve starts up, it is inverse proportional to spring pre-compression when the solenoid valve shuts down. And the total response time is a constant value with the increase of the spring pre-compression. Therefore, the value of the excitation voltage and the spring pre-compression should be selected when the curve is becoming flatten. | 12 | Identification of various food residuals on denim based on hyperspectral imaging system and combination optimal strategy显示文摘As the science and technology develop,crime methods and scenes have become increasingly complex and diverse.Trace evidence analysis has become amore and more important criminal investigation technology and liquid is the main form of trace evidence.Food can provide not only energy,but clues to solve crimes.In this study,we build a hyperspectral imaging system to detect liquid residue traces,including apple juice,coffee,cola,milk and tea,on denims with light,middle and dark colors.The obtained hyperspectral images are first subjected to spectral calibration and hyperspectral data pretreatment.Subsequently,Partial Least Squares(PLS)is applied to select the informative wavelengths from the preprocessed spectra.For modeling phase,the combination optimal strategy,support vector machine(SVM)combined with random forest(RF),is developed to establish classification models.The experimental results demonstrate that the combination optimal model can achieve TPR,FPR,Precision,Recall,F1,and AUC of 83.5%,2.30%,79.7%,83.5%,81.6%,and 94.7%for classifying fabrics contaminated by various food residuals.With respect to the classification of liquid and fabric types,the combination optimalmodel also yields satisfactory classification performance.In future work,wewill expand the types of liquid,and make appropriate adjustment to algorithms for improving the robustness of classification models.This research may play a positive role in the construction of a harmonious society. | Yuzhen Chen Ziyi Xu Wencheng Tang Menghan Hu Douning Tang Guangtao Zhai Qingli Li | 2021 | Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2021,,1: | 2 |

| 17 | A novel model for multi-plant mixed heavy crude oils refinery planning显示文摘In this paper, multi-refinery using the same heavy crude oils as raw materials is studied, while a new nonlinear model for mixed heavy crude distillation is proposed. In practical crude distillation operation, the distillate yield and product distribution of distillation units are different due to their various equipment and operating parameters, even the same ratio of raw materials is provided, so different process models for multi-refinery planning is therefore required. For process modeling, the relationships between total yields and mixing ratio of different refineries were determined, which is combined with process simulation using production data. Then,the yields and properties of crude distillation unit(CDU) fractions were calculated with the use of true boiling point(TBP) curves and property curves respectively when the initial cutting temperatures were given. Finally,in order to maximize the economic benefit of distillation, the optimal product distribution and the best mixing ratio of crude oil were calculated under the constraints of different properties of fractions. Comparing to previous models, the proposed model takes the influence of different refinery parameters on production process into account, while avoiding the complex process for determining the cutting points, which is considered more efficient and more accurate with respect to heavy crude refinery.
