1Fe_3O_4@C nanoparticles as high-performance Fenton-like catalyst for dye decoloration显示文摘Water pollution has become serious environmental problem nowadays. Advanced oxidation processes(AOP) have been widely applied in water treatment.However, traditional Fenton reaction based on Fe2﹢-H2O2 system has obvious drawbacks, which limit its applications In this study, magnetic Fe3O4core-C shell nanoparticles(Fe3O4@C NPs) were prepared for the decoloration of methylene blue(MB) via the co-precipitation followed by the hydrothermal dehydrogenation of glucose. Fe3O4@C NPs showed high catalytic activity of the decoloration of MB through the decomposition of H2O2 in Fenton-like reactions. Fe3O4@C NPs had much higher activity than bare Fe3O4 cores, suggesting the coating of carbon enhanced the catalytic activity. The performance of Fe3O4@C NPs was better at lower pH and higher temperature, but was significantly inhibited in the presence of radical scavenger tertiary butanol. Fe3O4@C NPs could be magnetic separated and regenerated, and maintained with very good catalytic activity. 2An on-chip intestine-liver model for multiple drugs absorption and metabolism behavior simulation显示文摘A double-layer microfluidic chip integrated with a hollow fiber(HF)was developed to reconstitute the intestine-liver functionality for studying the absorption and metabolism of combination drugs.Caco-2 cells were inoculated in the HF cavity at the top of the serpentine channel to simulate the intestinal tissue for drug absorption and transport studied,and Hep G2 cells,seeded in the bottom chamber,were used to mimic the liver for metabolism-related studies.Genistein and dacarbazine were selected for combination drug therapy and its effects on cell viability,hepatotoxicity,and cell cycle arrest under drug-conditioned culture were investigated.The results suggested that the combined concentration below-100μg/m L had no significant inhibitory effect on Hep G2 cell viability,and therefore Hep G2 cells maintained their drug metabolism ability.When the drug concentration was increased above 250μg/m L,Hep G2 cells underwent apoptosis.Detection of metabolites by mass spectrometry proved the effective metabolism in the microchip model.This dynamic,co-culture microchip successfully provided a podium for long-term observation of absorption,transport,and metabolism of combination drugs,and could be an effective in vitro simulation model for further clinical research.Mingsha Jie Haifeng Lin Ziyi He Hanyang Liu Haifang Li Jin-Ming Lin 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,2:3

7Nephrocyte-neurocyte interaction and cellular metabolic analysis on membrane-integrated microfluidic device显示文摘Cell-cell interaction and cell metabolic analysis provide new opportunities for better understanding of critical biochemical processes. Advanced microfluidic technologies enable to create more realistic in vitro microenvironment by spatial and temporal control of cell growth and co-culture. In this work, we design a microfluidic device to achieve the co-culture of PC12 cells and 293 cells, and study in vitro cell-cell interaction via cell metabolic analysis by mass spectrometry. The membraneintegrated microfluidic device was firstly used for cell co-culture, and the cellular metabolite was further investigated by mass spectrometer(MS). Our results showed that the differentiation of PC12 cells could be successfully induced by m NGF and also greatly influenced by the microchannel treatment of fetal bovine serum(FBS) solution. The identification of cell morphology, microtubule-associated protein 2(MAP-2) expression and viability of differentiated PC12 cells were conducted before 293 cells being introduced into the top microfluidic channels and stimulated to secrete cell metabolism products. 11Antioxidant and anti-HepG2 cell activities of a novel bioactive peptide from cowhide collagen in vitro显示文摘In the present study,the antioxidant and anti-human liver cancer(HepG2)cells effects of bioactive peptides from cowhide collagen(BPCC)were evaluated.BPCC exhibited significant scavenging effect on l,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radicals((60.09±3.51)%),2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)(ABTS)radicals((77.40±3.10)%)and hydroxyl radicals((56.00±2.30)%)as well as strong reducing power(0.320士0.025).Meanwhile,BPCC effectively protected biomacromolecules including proteins,lipids and DNA from oxidative damage induced by Cu^(2+)H_(2)O_(2)and 2,2'-azobis(2-methylpropionamidine)dihydrochloride(AAPH).Moreover,BPCC significantly inhibited cell viability of HepG2 cells in a dose-dependent manner with an estimated IC_(50)of 7.61 mg/mL.The results of 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)and acridine:orange/ethidium bromide(AO/EB)staining demonstrated the apoptotic morphological changes and cell mediated death in BPCC treated HepG2 cells.In addition,BPCC induced decrease of mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)in HepG2 cells.Therefore,the present finding proved that BPCC encompasses significant antioxidant activity and anticancer property on HepG2 cells and can be used as alternative food antioxidants for cancer prevention benefits.Zhike Xie Yuhan Zhai Yuqing Zhang Ming He Xuguang Wang Shaoxuan Yu Haifang Xiao Yuanda Song 2024Journal of Future Foods2024,4,3:0

13Manipulating interfacial stability of LiNi0.5Co0.3Mn0.2O2 cathode with sulfide electrolyte by nanosized LLTO coating to achieve high-performance all-solid-state lithium batteries显示文摘All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs) based on sulfide solid-state electrolytes and high voltage layered oxide cathode are regarded as one of the most promising candidates for energy storage systems with high energy density and high safety.However,they usually suffer poor cathode/electrolyte interfacial stability,severely limiting their practical applications.In this work,a core-shell cathode with uniformly nanosized Li0.5La0.5TiO3(LLTO) electrolyte coating on LiNi0.5Co0.3Mn0.2O2(NCM532) is designed to improve the cathode/electrolyte interface stability.Nanosized LLTO coating layer not only significantly boosts interfacial migration of lithium ions,but also efficiently alleviates space-charge layer and inhibits the electrochemical decomposition of electrolyte.As a result,the assembled ASSLBs with high mass loading(9 mg cm-2)LLTO coated NCM532(LLTO@NCM532) cathode exhibit high initial capacity(135 mAh g^(-1)) and excellent cycling performance with high capacity retention(80% after 200 cycles) at 0.1 C and 25℃.This nanosized LLTO coating layer design provides a facile and effective strategy for constructing high performance ASSLBs with superior interfacial stability.Jingguang Yi Pingge He Hong Liu Haifang Ni Zhiming Bai Li-Zhen Fan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:0
