4Meta-analysis of the efficacy of probiotics in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the role of probiotics in the standard triple Helicobacter pylori therapy.METHODS:In this meta-analysis,we investigated the efficacy of probiotics in a standard triple H.pylori therapy in adults.Searches were mainly conducted in MEDLINE/Pub Med,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials.Fourteen studies met our criteria,and the quality of these studies was assessedusing the Jadad scale.We used STATA version 12.0to extract data and to calculate the odds ratios(ORs),which are presented with the corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs).The data are presented as forest plots.RESULTS:The pooled ORs for the eradication rates calculated by intention-to-treat analysis and perprotocol analysis in the probiotic group vs the control group were 1.67(95%CI:1.38-2.02)and 1.68(95%CI:1.35-2.08),respectively,using the fixed-effects model.The sensitivity of the Asian studies was greater than that of the Caucasian studies(Asian:OR=1.78,95%CI:1.40-2.26;Caucasian:OR=1.48,95%CI:1.06-2.05).The pooled OR for the incidence of total adverse effects was significantly lower in the probiotic group(OR=0.49,95%CI:0.26-0.94),using the random effects model,with significant heterogeneity(I2=85.7%).The incidence of diarrhea was significantly reduced in the probiotic group(OR=0.21,95%CI:0.06-0.74),whereas the incidence of taste disorders,metallic taste,vomiting,nausea,and epigastric pain did not differ significantly between the probiotic group and the control group.CONCLUSION:Supplementary probiotic preparations during standard triple H.pylori therapy may improve the eradication rate,particularly in Asian patients,and the incidence of total adverse effects.Rong Zhu Kan Chen Yuan-Yuan Zheng Hua-Wei Zhang Jun-Shan Wang Yu-Jing Xia Wei-Qi Dai Fan Wang Miao Shen Ping Cheng Yan Zhang Cheng-Fen Wang Jing Yang Jing-Jing Li Jie Lu Ying-Qun Zhou Chuan-Yong Guo 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,47:9
5Bioactive compounds from Paecilomyces tenuipes regulating the function of the hypothalamo-hypophyseal system axis in chronic unpredictable stress rats显示文摘Background A bioactive compound from Paecilomyces tenuipes (BCPT) has an inhibitory effect on monoamineoxidase A (MAC-A) and monoamine oxidase B (MAC-B) in vitro and in vivo,which indicates BCPT may be a potentialantidepressant.In this study we aimed to study the antidepressant effects of BCPT in the chronic unpredictable stress(CUS) model in rats and explore underlying mechanisms in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis.Methods The antidepressant effects of BCPT were studied in the chronic unpredictable stress model in rats.Animalswere housed isolated,except the control group.Rats were exposed daily to different random stressors from day 1 to 21.Awarding response was detected by calculating the 24-hour consumption of sucrose water.Cortisol (CORT) andadrenocorticotropic hormone (ATCH) contents in serum and arginine vasopressin (AVP) contents in the pituitary bodywere detected by radio immunoassays.Total RNA of hippocampus or hypothalamus was extracted and subjected toreverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for the measurement of corticotrophin releasing hormone(CRH) mRNA or mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) mRNA and glucocorticoid receptor (GR) mRNA levels.Statisticalanalyses were performed using one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Student-Newman-Keuls (SNK) test.Results Chronic unpredictable stress resulted in reduction of sensitivity to reward and abnormality in the HPA axis inthe animal model.BCPT improved the reward reaction as measured by increasing sucrose consumption,remarkablyreduced serum CORT and ACTH levels and the AVP content in the pituitary body in the CUS-treated rats,decreased theexpression of CRH mRNA,enhanced the expression of hippocampus MR mRNA,GR mRNA and decreased the ratio ofMR/GR.Conclusions BCPT has potentially antidepressant-like activity and normalized the HPA axis hyperactivity in a CUSmodel of depression in rats.This may be an important mechanism of its antidepressant effect.Chin Med J 2007;120(12)YIN Yan-yan MING Liang ZHENG Li-fang KAN Hong-wei LI Chun-ru LI Wei-ping 2007Chinese Medical Journal2007,,12:9
6Association of HER2 status with prognosis in gastric cancer patients undergoing R0 resection: A large-scale multicenter study in China显示文摘AIM: To determine whether the positive status of human epidermal growth receptor 2(HER2) can be regarded as an effective prognostic factor for patients with gastric cancer(GC) undergoing R0 resection.METHODS: A total of 1562 GC patients treated by R0 resection were recruited. HER2 status was evaluated in surgically resected samples of all the patients using immunohistochemical(IHC) staining. Correlations between HER2 status and clinicopathological characteristics were retrospective analyzed. Hazard ratios(HRs) and 95% confidence intervals(CIs) were estimated using Cox proportional hazard model, stratified by age, gender, tumor location and tumor-nodemetastasis(TNM) stage, with additional adjustment for potential prognostic factors.RESULTS: Among 1562 patients, 548(positive rate = 35.08%, 95%CI: 32.72%-37.45%) were HER2 positive. Positive status of HER2 was significantly correlated with gender(P = 0.004), minority(P < 0.001), tumor location(P = 0.001), pathological grade(P < 0.001), TNM stage(P < 0.001) and adjuvant radiotherapy(74.67% vs 23.53%, P = 0.011). No significant associations were observed between HER2 status and disease free survival(HR = 0.19, 95%CI: 0.96-1.46, P = 0.105) or overall survival(HR = 1.19, 95%CI: 0.96-1.48, P = 0.118) using multivariate analysis, although stratified analyses showed marginally statistically significant associations both in disease free survival and overall survival, especially among patients aged < 60 years or with early TNM stages(Ⅰ and Ⅱ). Categorical age, TNM stage, neural invasion, and adjuvant chemotherapy were, as expected, independent prognostic factors for both disease free survival and overall survival. 8An intelligent self-sustained RAN slicing framework for diverse service provisioning in 5G-beyond and 6G networks显示文摘Network slicing is a key technology to support the concurrent provisioning of heterogeneous Quality of Service(QoS)in the 5th Generation(5G)-beyond and the 6th Generation(6G)networks.However,effective slicing of Radio Access Network(RAN)is very challenging due to the diverse QoS requirements and dynamic conditions in the 6G networks.In this paper,we propose a self-sustained RAN slicing framework,which integrates the self-management of network resources with multiple granularities,the self-optimization of slicing control performance,and self-learning together to achieve an adaptive control strategy under unforeseen network conditions.The proposed RAN slicing framework is hierarchically structured,which decomposes the RAN slicing control into three levels,i.e.,network-level slicing,next generation NodeB(gNodeB)-level slicing,and packet scheduling level slicing.At the network level,network resources are assigned to each gNodeB at a large timescale with coarse resource granularity.At the gNodeB-level,each gNodeB adjusts the configuration of each slice in the cell at the large timescale.At the packet scheduling level,each gNodeB allocates radio resource allocation among users in each network slice at a small timescale.Furthermore,we utilize the transfer learning approach to enable the transition from a model-based control to an autonomic and self-learning RAN slicing control.With the proposed RAN slicing framework,the QoS performance of emerging services is expected to be dramatically enhanced.Jie Mei Xianbin Wang Kan Zheng 2020Intelligent and Converged Networks2020,1,3:8

11Adjuvant chemotherapy with S-1 plus oxaliplatin improves survival of patients with gastric cancer after D2 gastrectomy: A multicenter propensity score-matched study显示文摘AIM To investigate the safety and efficacy of S-1 plus oxaliplatin(SOX) as an adjuvant chemotherapy regimen in gastric cancer(GC) after D2 dissection.METHODS GC Patients who underwent D2 gastrectomy from September 2009 to December 2011 in four Chinese institutions were enrolled. Patients with stage ⅠB-ⅢC GC, who received adjuvant SOX treatment were matched by propensity scores with those who underwent surgery alone and those who conducted capecitabine plus oxaliplatin(XELOX) regimen. Disease-free survival(DFS) and overall survival(OS) were compared among the groups. In addition, adverse events in SOX patients were analyzed.Of 1944 GC patients who underwent D2 dissection, 867 were included for analysis. One hundred and seventeen patients treated with SOX were matched to 234 patients who conducted surgery alone. Fifty-seven patients treated with SOX were matched to 57 patients who received XELOX. The estimated five-year DFS was 57.5% in the adjuvant SOX group which was higher than that(44.6%) in the surgery alone group(P = 0.001); and the estimated five-year OS was 68.3% which was higher than that(45.8%) of surgery alone group(P < 0.001). Survival benefit was also revealed in stage III and > 60 years old subgroups(P < 0.001 and P = 0.015, respectively). Compared with XELOX regimen, SOX showed no significant difference in DFS(P = 0.340) and OS(P = 0.361). The most common ≥ 3 grade adverse events of SOX regimen were neutropenia(22.6%), leukopenia(8.9%) and thrombocytopenia(5.6%).CONCLUSION Compared with surgery alone, SOX regimen significantly improves the long-term survival and has acceptable toxicity in patients with stage ⅠB-ⅢC GC after D2 dissection. 13Point cloud registration for agriculture and forestry crops based on calibration balls using Kinect V2显示文摘For the process of point cloud registration,and the problem of inaccurate registration due to errors in correspondence between keypoints.In this paper,a registration method based on calibration balls was proposed,the trunk,branch,and crown were selected as experimental objects,and three calibration balls were randomly placed around the experimental objects to ensure different distances between two ball centers.Using the Kinect V2 depth camera to collect the point cloud of the experimental scene from four different viewpoints,the PassThrough filter algorithm was used for point cloud filtering in each view of the experimental scenes.The Euclidean cluster extraction algorithm was employed for point cloud clustering and segmentation to extract the experimental object and the calibration ball.The random sample consensus(RANSAC)algorithm was applied to fit the point cloud of a ball and calculate the coordinates of the ball center so that the distance between two ball centers under different viewpoints can be obtained by using the coordinates of the ball center.Comparing the distance between the ball centers from different viewpoints to determine the corresponding relationship between the ball centers from different viewpoints,and then using the singular value decomposition(SVD)method,the initial registration matrix was obtained.Finally,Iterative Closest Point(ICP)and its improved algorithm were used for accurate registration.The experimental results showed that the method of point cloud registration based on calibration balls can solve the problem of corresponding error of keypoints,and can register point clouds from different viewpoints of the same object.The registration method was evaluated by using the registration running time and the fitness score.The final registration running time of different experimental objects was not more than 6.5 s.The minimum fitness score of the trunk was approximately 0.0001,the minimum fitness score of the branch was approximately 0.0001,and the minimum fitness score of the crown was approximately 0.0006.Sanzhang Zhou Feng Kang Wenbin Li Jiangming Kan Yongjun Zheng 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,1:4
14Design and experiment of anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components for subsoiler cum rotary tiller显示文摘The commonly used subsoiling cum rotary tiller machine(SRT)in Northern China is a combination of subsoiler and horizontal rotary tiller,however backfilling of the subsoiling slot,excessive vibration and plant residue wrapping on rotary components has been rarely considered.Therefore,the rotary components and assembly were redesigned to address these issues and to an SRT fitted with IT225 short curve rotary blades behind the V-shape subsoiling slots and IIT245 long curve rotary blades between the tines.Long and short blades were fitted on a rotor in a double helix,with optimal spiral angles of 65° and 90°,and phase angle of 147°and 180°,respectively.Compared with the commonly used SRT(CSRT),the additional anti-wrapping cutting blades in the circumferential and axial direction of ASRT could remove hanging residue on the blade holders,wrapping on the rotor and formation of an isolation layer.Moreover,the cutting edge curve of anti-wrapping cutting blades was an exponential curve.Field tests demonstrated that the redesigned SRT with anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components(ASRT)had was a significant advancement over the CSRT.Moreover,the working depth of rotary tillage was more stable,while other observations confirmed that backfilling of the subsoiling slot was also improved.Kan Zheng Allen D.McHugh Hongwen Li Qingjie Wang Caiyun Lu Hongnan Hu Wenzheng Liu Zhiqiang Zhang Peng Liu Jin He 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4:4
15The molecular chaperone Hsp90α deficiency causes retinal degeneration by disrupting Golgi organization and vesicle transportation in photoreceptors显示文摘Heat shock protein 90(Hsp90)is an abundant molecular chaperone with two isoforms,Hsp90α and Hsp90p.Hsp90β deficiency causes embryonic lethality,whereas Hsp90α deficiency causes few abnormities except male sterility.In this paper,we reported that Hsp90α was exclusively expressed in the retina,testis,and brain.Its deficiency caused retinitis pigmentosa(RP),a disease leading to blindness.In Hsp90α-deficient mice,the retina was deteriorated and the outer segment of photoreceptor was deformed.Immunofluorescence staining and electron microscopic analysis revealed disintegrated Golgi and aberrant intersegmental vesicle transportation in Hsp90α-deficient photoreceptors.Proteomic analysis identified microtubule-associated protein IB(MAP1B)as an Hsp90α-associated protein in photoreceptors.Hspcx deficiency increased degradation of MAP1B by inducing its ubiquitination,causing a-tubulin deacetylation and microtubule destabilization.Furthermore,the treatment of wild-type mice with 17-DMAG,an Hsp90 inhibitor of geldanamycin derivative,induced the same retinal degeneration as Hsp90α deficiency.Taken together,the microtubule destabilization could be the underlying reason for Hsp90α deficiency-induced RP.Yuan Wu Xiudan Zheng Yubo Ding Min Zhou Zhuang Wei Tao Liu Kan Liao 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,3:4

17Chemically robust carbon nanotube-PTFE superhydrophobic thin films with enhanced ability of wear resistance显示文摘A chemically robust superhydrophobic nanocomposite thin film with enhanced wear resistance is prepared from a composite comprising polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) and carbon nanotubes.The superhydrophobic thin films with hierarchical structure are fabricated by spraying an environmentally friendly aqueous dispersion containing carbon nanotubes and PTFE resin on silicon wafer.Thin films with a contact angle of 154.1°± 2° and a sliding angle less than 2° remain superhydrophobic after abrading over 500 times under a pressure of 50 g/cm^2.The thin film is also extremely stable even under much stress conditions.To further the understanding of the enhancement of wear resistance,we investigated the formation of microsized structure and their effects.The growth of microbumps is caused by attracting solution droplet to the hydrophilic islands on hydrophobic surface.Kewei Wang Pan Xiong Xiuping Xu Kan Wang YanLong Li Yufeng Zheng 2017Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2017,27,3:4
18Multiuser beamforming based on max SINR for downlink spatial multiplexing MIMO显示文摘In this article,a method based on max signal interference noise ratio (SINR) criterion is proposed,to mitigate the interuser interference for downlink multiuser spatial multiplexing multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems.Unlike the zero forcing (ZF) scheme in which the SNR is decreased when the interference is eliminated completely,max SINR method makes a compromise between noise and interuser interference.When the number of substreams is larger than the difference between the number of base station antennas and the sum of interference mobile station antennas,the ZF is infeasible.An existing coordinated TX-RX block diagonalization (COOR BD) method uses preprocessing at the receiver to cancel the interuser interference.However,it cannot obtain more receive diversity gain because of the preprocessing.Analysis and simulation show that the max SINR scheme has better performance than the ZF method.Moreover,when the ZF is infeasible,the max SINR scheme can obtain more receive diversity gain than COOR BD in the two-user case.MA Peng-fei ZHENG Kan WANG Wen-bo 2007The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2007,14,3:3
19Geochemistry and Geochronology of the Gebunongba Iron Polymetallic Deposit in the Gangdese Belt, Tibet显示文摘The Gebunongba iron polymetallic deposit is a typical skarn deposit located at the westernmost end of the discovered iron polymetallic deposits in the Gangdese metallogenic belt. Major and trace elements of the monzonite granite related to mineralization show that these rocks are peraluminous(ACNK=1.15–1.21) and are rich in Si(76.63 wt.%–76.93 wt.% SiO2), K(K2 O/Na2 O ratio of 1.80–2.30), LREE and LILEs(Rb, Ba, Th, U, Pb), but is depleted in high field strength elements(Nb, Ta, Ti and HREE). In addition, these rocks show obviously negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.48–0.55). The LA-ICPMS U-Pb age of zircons in monzonite granite is 59.72±0.55 Ma(MSWD=0.79), whereas the 40 Ar/39 Ar age of muscovite in iron ores is 59.22±0.61 Ma(MSWD=16.20). This indicates that the deposit formed at the syn-collision stage of Lhasa-India terrane is later than the northward subduction of the Yajiang crust. The monzonite granite has been probably derived from the partial melting of ancient lower crustal materials, which is probably resulted from the underplating of mantle-derived magmas. It is favorable for the formation of iron polymetallic deposit. Iron polymetallic mineralization is prevalent in Gangdese metallogenic belt at syn-collision stage. Therefore, syn-collision stage is an important mineralization stage for iron polymetallic deposits.
