2Effect of selected signals of interest on ultrasonic backscattering measurement in cancellous bones显示文摘This study examined how the signals of interest (SOI) effect on the backscattering measurement numerically based on 3-D finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. High resolution microstructure mappings of bovine cancellous bones provided by micro-CT were used as the input geometry for simulations. Backscatter coefficient (BSC), integrated backscatter coefficient (IBC) and apparent integrated backscatter (AIB) were calculated with changing the start (L1) and duration (L2) of the SOI. The results demonstrated that BSC and IBC decrease as L1 increases, and AIB decreases more rapidly as L1 increases. The backscattering parameters increase with fluctuations as a function of L2 when L2 is less than 6 mm. However, BSC and IBC change little as L2 continues to increase, while AIB slowly decreases as L2 continues to increase. The results showed how the selections of the SOI effect on the backscattering measurement. 3Selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene on Ru-based catalysts promoted with Mn and Zn显示文摘Ru-based catalysts promoted with Mn and Zn were prepared by a co-precipitation method. In liquid-phase hydrogenation of benzene, the Ru-Mn-Zn catalysts exhibited superior catalytic performance to the catalysts promoted with Zn or Mn alone. The optimum Mn/Zn molar ratio was determined to be 0.3. With the addition of 0.5 g NaOH, the Ru-Mn-Zn-0.3 catalyst, which was reduced at 150 ? C, afforded a cyclohexene selectivity of 81.1% at a benzene conversion of 60.2% at 5 min and a maximum cyclohexene yield of 59.9% at 20 min. 4Selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene over Ce-promoted Ru catalysts显示文摘Ru-Ce catalysts were prepared by a co-precipitation method.The effects of Ce precursors with different valences and Ce contents on the catalytic performance of Ru-Ce catalysts were investigated in the presence of ZnSO4.The Ce species in the catalysts prepared with different valences of the Ce precursors all exist as CeO2 on the Ru surface.The promoter CeO2alone could not improve the selectivity to cyclohexene of Ru catalysts.However,almost all the CeO2 in the catalysts could react with the reaction modifier ZnSO4 to form(Zn(OH)2)3(ZnSO4)(H2O)3 salt.The amount of the chemisorbed salt increased with the CeO2 loading,resulting in the decrease of the activity and the increase of the selectivity to cyclohexene of Ru catalyst.The Ru-Ce catalyst with the optimum Ce/Ru molar ratio of 0.19 gave a maximum cyclohexene yield of 57.4%.Moreover,this catalyst had good stability and excellent reusability.Haijie Sun Yajie Pan Shuaihui Li Yuanxin Zhang Yingying Dong Shouchang Liu Zhongyi Liu 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5:4
5Theoretical design and preparation of high thermal-stable jet fuel显示文摘A high thermal-stable jet fuel design method was developed using composition-properties relations and basic specification properties of jet fuel. Tannery diagrams were provided to visualize relationships among three main components (n-paraffins, iso-paraffins, cycloparaffins, or aromatics) with four major specification properties (density, flash point, freezing point, net heat of combustion) and thermal sta- bility. An optimum chemical composition was established to meet performance requirements: n-paraffins 25%-45%, iso-paraffins 15%-30%, cycloparaffins 30%-50%, and aromatics 5%. 6Sulforaphane attenuates dextran sodium sulphate induced intestinal inflammation via IL-10/STAT3 signaling mediated macrophage phenotype switching显示文摘Innate immunity,particularly macrophages,is critical for intestinal homeostasis.Sulforaphane,a dietary isothiocyanate from cruciferous vegetables,has been reported to protect against intestinal inflammation.However,the role of macrophages in sulforaphane mediated intestinal inflammation and the underlying molecular mechanisms have not been studied yet.In this study,sulforaphane effectively attenuated dextran sodium sulphate(DSS)induced intestinal inflammation in murine model.Of note,sulforaphane skewed the switching from classically(M1)to alternatively(M2)activated phenotype both in intestinal and bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs).The expression levels of M1 associated maker genes induced by DSS or lipopolysaccharide(LPS)plus interferon gamma-γ(IFN-γ)were suppressed by sulforaphane while M2 marker gene expression levels were improved.This resulted in alteration of inflammatory mediators,particularly interleukin-10(IL-10),both in colon tissues and culture medium of BMDMs.Subsequently,IL-10 was found to mediate the sulforaphane induced M2 phenotype switching of BMDMs through the activation of STAT3 signaling.This was confirmed by immunofluorescence analysis with increased number of p-STAT3-positive cells in the colon sections.Moreover,anti-IL-10 neutralizing antibody significantly interfered M2 phenotyping of BMDMs induced by sulforaphane with reduced STAT3 phosphorylation.Findings here introduced a potential utilization of sulforaphane for intestinal inflammation treatment with macrophages as the therapeutic targets.Yuyang Sun Jiqing Tang Cui Li Jun Liu Haijie Liu 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:2
