| 1 | Nitrogen uptake and transfer in broad bean and garlic strip intercropping systems显示文摘Utilization and transfer of nitrogen(N)in a strip intercropping system of garlic(Allium sativum L.)and broad bean(Vicia faba L.)have been investigated rarely.The objectives of this study were to quantify N uptake and utilization by intercropped broad bean and garlic and determine the magnitude of N transfer from broad bean to garlic.Field and pot trials were carried out in the Erhai Lake Basin in China using ^(15)N tracer applied to the soil or injected into broad bean plants.Strip intercropping of garlic and broad bean increased N absorption(47.2%)compared with sole crop broad bean(31.9%)or sole crop garlic(40.7%)and reduced soil residual N.Nearly 15%of ^(15)N injected into petioles of broad bean intercropped with garlic was recovered in garlic at harvest,suggesting that N could be transferred from broad bean to strip intercropped garlic.The findings provide a basis for evaluating legumes’role in optimizing N fertilization when intercropped with non-legumes. | TANG Qiu-xiang Haile Tewolde LIU Hong-bin REN Tian-zhi JIANG Ping-an ZHAI Li-mei LEI Bao-kun LIN Tao LIU En-ke | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2018,17,1: | 5 |

| 4 | The distribution and cell uptake of ApoA1 modified lipid carriers of siRNA in mouse liver in vivo显示文摘Fluorescence labeled small interfering RNAs(siRNAs)were loaded into lipopolyplexes modified with ApoA1(named as rHDL)and administered by intravenous injection.The biodistribution with time of these lipopolyplexes inside the liver and among various cell types was followed using tissue sections by Confocal fluorescence microscopy.At about 0.5 h after tail vein injection at a dose of 0.408 mg/kg,very few fluorescence signals were found in the liver.But then the signals could be seen to accumulate inside hepatocytes as discrete spots and diffused signals at around 2e4 h after injection.Such a distribution and uptake pattern was significantly different from what were observed using the commercial agent Invivofectamine2.0 or DOTAP lipoplexes as the carriers.The differences indicated different mechanisms concerning the in vivo behavior of these carriers.The rHDL carrier system we developed was able to deliver siRNA specifically into hepatocytes while avoiding the uptake by REM cells especially the Kupffer cells.With it’s low toxicity and off target effect,it may be suitable to be developed as a hepatocyte targeting delivery system for siRNA. | Yan Li Mengjie Rui Hailing Tang Yuhong Xu | 2013 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2013,8,4: | 1 |
| 5 | Towards ultrastrong and ductile medium-entropy alloy through dual-phase ultrafine-grained architecture显示文摘Advanced materials with superior comprehensive mechanical properties are strongly desired,but it has long been a challenge to achieve high ductility in high-strength materials.Here,we proposed a new V 0.5 Cr 0.5 CoNi medium-entropy alloy(MEA)with a face-centered cubic/hexagonal close-packed(FCC/HCP)dual-phase ultrafine-grained(UFG)architecture containing stacking faults(SFs)and local chemical order(LCO)in HCP solid solution,to obtain an ultrahigh yield strength of 1476 MPa and uniform elongation of 13.2%at ambient temperature.The ultrahigh yield strength originates mainly from fine grain strength-ening of the UFG FCC matrix and HCP second-phase strengthening assisted by the SFs and LCO inside,whereas the large ductility correlates to the superior ability of the UFG FCC matrix to storage disloca-tions and the function of deformation-induced SFs in the vicinity of the FCC/HCP boundary to eliminate the stress concentration.This work provides new guidance by engineering novel composition and stable UFG structure for upgrading the mechanical properties of metallic materials. | Zhen Chen Hongbo Xie Haile Yan Xueyong Pang Yuhui Wang Guilin Wu Lijun Zhang Hu Tang Bo Gao Bo Yang Yanzhong Tian Huiyang Gou Gaowu Qin | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,31: | 1 |

By introducing the heavy atom of Br at the end of alkyl chain, TPTB exhibited higher reactive oxygen species generation efficiency through both types I and II pathways. Due to its excellent biocompatibility and proper lipophilicity, TPTB could be used for long-term cell membrane staining and this staining ability was independent of the change of plasma membrane potential.
