1A new perturbation algorithm and enhancing security of SFLASH signature scheme显示文摘This paper introduces the concept of noise factor and noise operation, and constructs a noise group. We present a new perturbation algorithm for enhancing security of multivariate public key cryptosystems (MPKCs). European Consortium SFLASH which derives from Matsumoto-Imai scheme is a fast signature scheme intended for low cost smart cards. It was broken with the differential cryptanalysis by Dubois et al. in 2007. Taking Matsumoto-Imai system as an example, security analysis shows that the new algorithm can powerfully demolish its potential mathematical properties of the public key, and effectively avoid differential cryptanalysis without lowering the effciency of the original algorithm.WANG HouZhen ZHANG HuanGuo GUAN HaiMing HAN HaiQing 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,4:12
2Sirt1-ROS-TRAF6 Signaling-Induced Pyroptosis Contributes to Early Injury in Ischemic Mice显示文摘Stroke is an acute cerebro-vascular disease with high incidence and poor prognosis,most commonly ischemic in nature.In recent years,increasing attention has been paid to inflammatory reactions as symptoms of a stroke.However,the role of inflammation in stroke and its underlying mechanisms require exploration.In this study,we evaluated the inflammatory reactions induced by acute ischemia and found that pyroptosis occurred after acute ischemia both in vivo and in vitro,as determined by interleukin-1β,apoptosis-associated speck-like protein,and caspase-1.The early inflammation resulted in irreversible ischemic injury,indicating that it deserves thorough investigation.Meanwhile,acute ischemia decreased the Sirtuin 1(Sirtl)protein levels,and increased the TRAF6(TNF receptor associated factor 6)protein and reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels.In further exploration,both Sirtl suppression and TRAF6 activation were found to contribute to this pyroptosis.Reduced Sirtl levels were responsible for the production of ROS and increased TRAF6 protein levels after ischemic exposure.Moreover,N-acetyl-L-cysteine,an ROS scavenger,suppressed the TRAF6 accumulation induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation via suppression of ROS bursts.These phenomena indicate that Sirtl is upstream of ROS,and ROS bursts result in increased TRAF6 levels.Further,the activation of Sirtl during the period of ischemia reduced ischemiainduced injury after 72 h of reperfusion in mice with middle cerebral artery occlusion.In sum,these results indicate that pyroptosis-dependent machinery contributes to the neural injury during acute ischemia via the Sirt1-ROS-TRAF6 signaling pathway.We propose that inflammatory reactions occur soon after oxidative stress and are detrimental to neuronal survival;this provides a promising therapeutic target against ischemic injuries such as a stroke.Weijie Yan Wei Sun Jiahui Fan Haiqing Wang Song Han Junfa Li Yanling Yin 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,8:9
3Bioengineering of nano metal-organic frameworks for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy techniques,such as immune checkpoint inhibitors,chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T cell therapies and cancer vaccines,have been burgeoning with great success,particularly for specific cancer types.However,side effects with fatal risks,dysfunction in tumor microenvironment and low immune response rates remain the bottlenecks in immunotherapy.Nano metal-organic frameworks(nMOFs),with an accurate structure and a narrow size distribution,are emerging as a solution to these problems.In addition to their function of temporospatial delivery,a large library of their compositions,together with flexibility in chemical interaction and inherent immune efficacy,offers opportunities for various designs of nMOFs for immunotherapy.In this review,we overview state-of-the-art research on nMOFs-based immunotherapies as well as their combination with other therapies.We demonstrate that nMOFs are predominantly customized for vaccine delivery or tumor-microenvironment modulation.Finally,a prospect of nMOFs in cancer immunotherapy will be discussed.Gaowei Chong Jie Zang Yi Han Runping Su Nopphon Weeranoppanant Haiqing Dong Yongyong Li 2021Nano Research2021,14,5:2

7Treatment for Amblyopia after Surgery for Cataract and Vitreoretina in Pediatric Ocular Trauma显示文摘Purpose:We investigated the value of occlusion therapy assisted by wearing spectacles or implanting an intraocular lens following surgeries for cataract and vitreoretina in pediatric patients. Methods: Fifty-one children with ocular trauma, aged from 3 to 12 years, were enrolled in this study, including 39 cases of open global injuries and 12 ocular blunt injuries.The patients underwent a series of surgeries, including suture of the cornea or sclera wound, cataract extraction, vitrectomy, and repair of retinal detachment in some cases.Occlusion therapy was prescribed for 29 eyes wearing spectacles and 22 eyes with implanted intraocular lenses (IOLs) for 6 to 12 months. All the children were followed up for 12 to 60 months (mean 41.5 months) after the final operations. Results: Best corrected visual acuity was improved in 32 eyes (62.7%) and not improved in 19 eyes (37.3%), including 6 eyes with a leucoma involving the central cornea, 5 eyes with a retina scar involving the macula,and 2 eyes with unsatisfactory overall patching time.Occlusion therapy assisted by wearing spectacles (65.5%) and implanting IOLs (59.1%) showed similar improvements in the visual acuity of the injured eyes. Conclusion: Occlusion therapy, combined with wearing spectacles and implanting IOLs, is valuable in treating deprivation amblyopia due to ocular trauma and series surgeries in pediatric patients. 9Enumeration of Generalized Linear Orthomorphism in the Vector Space F_q^n显示文摘The conception of orthomorphism has been general-ized in this paper, and a counting formula on the generalized linear orthomorphism in the vector space over the Galois field with the arbitrary prime number p as the characteristic is obtained. Thus, the partial generation algorithm of generalized linear orthomorphism is achieved. The counting formula of the linear orthomor-phism in the vector space over the finite field with characteristic 2 is the special case in our results. 12Cryptanalysis of an MOR cryptosystem based on a finite associative algebra显示文摘The Shor algorithm is effective for public-key cryptosystems based on an abelian group. At CRYPTO 2001, Paeng(2001) presented a MOR cryptosystem using a non-abelian group, which can be considered as a candidate scheme for post-quantum attack. This paper analyses the security of a MOR cryptosystem based on a finite associative algebra using a quantum algorithm. Specifically, let L be a finite associative algebra over a finite field F. Consider a homomorphism φ : Aut(L) → Aut(H) × Aut(I), where I is an ideal of L and H ■ L/I.We compute dim Im(φ) and dim Ker(φ), and combine them by dim Aut(L) = dim Im(φ) + dim Ker(φ). We prove that Im(φ) = Stab Comp(H,I)(μ + B^2(H, I)) and Ker(φ)■ Z^1(H, I). Thus, we can obtain dim Im(φ), since the algorithm for the stabilizer is a standard algorithm among abelian hidden subgroup algorithms. In addition,Z^1(H, I) is equivalent to the solution space of the linear equation group over the Galois fields GF(p), and it is possible to obtain dim Ker(φ) by the enumeration theorem. Furthermore, we can obtain the dimension of the automorphism group Aut(L). When the map ? ∈ Aut(L), it is possible to effectively compute the cyclic group ? and recover the private key a. 14Compact fiber-optic diode-laser sensor system for wide-dynamic-range relative humidity measurement显示文摘A compact fiber-optic diode-laser sensor system for measuring relative humidity is studied. In such a system, a distributed feedback laser lasing near 1877 nm is used as light source while a high-precision Pt resistance as temperature sensor, an accuracy of 0.1% relative-humidity can be achieved. The laser sensor system is able to lock to the absorption peak and calculate the density of water vapor without any additional reference measurements. Using programs built in to the microcontroller unit, the laser system can switch functions between direct measurement at high density and second-harmonic detection at low density. 16An electrical-filtered optical heterodyne technique for tuning speed measurement of DBR lasers显示文摘A new scheme based on the electrical-filtered optical heterodyne technique is proposed for measuring the tuning speed of tunable distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) lasers. In this scheme, a 10 GHz high-pass electrical filter is used and the wavelength switching time of a tunable DBR laser for different tuning frequencies corresponding exactly to different delay lines is measured. The switching time is measured to be nearly 300 ns and can be improved by reducing the equivalent resistance-capacitance (RC) time constant of the device. 17Membrane fusion reverse micelle platforms as potential oral nanocarriers for efficient internalization of free hydrophilic peptides显示文摘Orally administered peptides or proteins are garnering increasing preference owing to their superiority in terms of patient compliance and convenience.However,the development of oral protein formulations has stalled due to the low bioavailability of macromolecules that encounter the aggressive gastrointestinal environment and harsh mucus villi barrier.Herein,we propose an ideal reverse micelle/self-emulsifying drug delivery system(RM/SEDDS)nanoplatform that is capable of improving the oral bioavailability of hydrophilic peptides by preventing enzymatic degradation and enhancing mucosal permeability.Upon the passage through the mucus,the self-emulsifying drug delivery system with optimal surface properties effectively penetrates the viscoelastic mucosal barrier,followed by the exposure of the inner reverse micelle amphipathic vectors,which autonomously form continua with the lipidic cell membrane and facilitate the internalization of drugs.This membrane-fusion mechanism inaugurates a new way for hydrophilic peptide delivery in the free form,circumventing the traditional impediments of the cellular internalization of nanocarriers and subsequent poor release of drugs.And more importantly,reverse micelles are not spatially specific to the laden drugs,which enables their delivery for a myriad of peptide clinical drugs.In conclusion,as an exquisitely designed nanoplatform,RM/SEDDS overcomes multiple physiological barriers and opens a new path for drug cellular entry,providing new prospects for the development of oral drug delivery systems.Mengting Lin Linjie Wu Yiying Lu Xiaoyan Bao Haiqing Zhong Qi Dai Qiyao Yang Yiyi Xia Xin Tan Yaxin Qin Ruolin Jiang Min Han 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
