| 4 | Treatment for Amblyopia after Surgery for Cataract and Vitreoretina in Pediatric Ocular Trauma显示文摘Purpose:We investigated the value of occlusion therapy assisted by wearing spectacles or implanting an intraocular lens following surgeries for cataract and vitreoretina in pediatric patients. Methods: Fifty-one children with ocular trauma, aged from 3 to 12 years, were enrolled in this study, including 39 cases of open global injuries and 12 ocular blunt injuries.The patients underwent a series of surgeries, including suture of the cornea or sclera wound, cataract extraction, vitrectomy, and repair of retinal detachment in some cases.Occlusion therapy was prescribed for 29 eyes wearing spectacles and 22 eyes with implanted intraocular lenses (IOLs) for 6 to 12 months. All the children were followed up for 12 to 60 months (mean 41.5 months) after the final operations. Results: Best corrected visual acuity was improved in 32 eyes (62.7%) and not improved in 19 eyes (37.3%), including 6 eyes with a leucoma involving the central cornea, 5 eyes with a retina scar involving the macula,and 2 eyes with unsatisfactory overall patching time.Occlusion therapy assisted by wearing spectacles (65.5%) and implanting IOLs (59.1%) showed similar improvements in the visual acuity of the injured eyes. Conclusion: Occlusion therapy, combined with wearing spectacles and implanting IOLs, is valuable in treating deprivation amblyopia due to ocular trauma and series surgeries in pediatric patients. | 5 | Nonlinear output-feedback tracking in multiagent systems with an unknown leader and directed communication显示文摘This paper addresses cooperative global robust output regulation for heterogeneous and uncertain multiagent nonlinear systems in the output-feedback normal form. Specifically, we develop a Lyapunov-based dynamic output-feedback law using a nonlinear internal model approach. We show that an effective control law can be constructed under general(static) directed communication topologies even when the leader is unknown. | 7 | Posner-Schlossman syndrome:a 10-year review of clinical experience显示文摘Background:To describe our 10-year experience with Posner-Schlossman syndrome(PSS)in terms of morbidity and prognosis.Methods:We investigated 72 cases(74 eyes;both eyes of 2 cases)of PSS between July 2005 and July 2015.Data were collected on intraocular pressure(IOP),keratic precipitates(KP),anterior chamber,pupil,optic nerve disc and visual field,as well as general characteristics.Each case was examined every 3 to 7 days during attacks and every 2 to 6 months between attacks.Results:The mean age of the 72 patients(41 men)was 40±6 years(range,16-64 years).The mean disease duration was 4.3 years(range,1-7 years)and mean follow-up 4.9 years(range,1-8 years).Medical treatment was efficacious for 62 patients(62 eyes,83.78%).Ten patients exhibited progressive cupping and visual field loss(12 eyes,16.22%),all had normal IOP and no recurrence of PSS after trabeculectomy with anti-metabolite treatment.Conclusions:Although the prognosis of most PSS is usually benign,the IOP and optic nerve disc must be monitored.Visual-field damage can occur with long-term disease and frequent attacks. | Ling Wang Gang Yin Dabo Wang Zhiying Yu | 2017 | Annals of Eye Science2017,,1: | 0 |

| 10 | HCl guided morphology and conductivity of chiral PPy nanostructures toward efficient electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘To solve the severe electromagnetic(EM)radiation from the widespread application of electronic equipment,we developed a simple template-guided oxypolymerization strategy to synthesize polypyrrole(PPy)planar helixes as an efficient EM wave(EMW)absorber,and systematically investigated the morphology-dependent chirality,conductivity,and microwave absorption properties.As HCl concentration[HCl]varied from 0 to 2.0 M,the morphology evolved from planar helix to 3D cross-linking network structures,the conductivity increased from 0.0019 to 0.0302 S/cm,and the EM parameters peaked at[HCl]=0.5 M.Compared to other absorbers,the PPy planar helix formed at[HCl]=0 M possessed wider absorption band(5.84 GHz),smaller matching thickness(1.6 mm),lower loading(25 wt.%),and intenser absorption(-48.17 dB).The reason lies in the strong attenuation capability,multiple resonances,multiple scattering,and good impedance matching generated by chiral PPy planar helixes with a distinctive helical configuration,doped heteroatoms(O,S),and a local conductive network.Our results suggest that PPy planar helixes offer great promise for fields such as chiral sensors,electronics,optics,chiral catalysis,and EMW absorption and shielding due to their distinctive morphology,tunable conductivity,and outstanding EMW absorption properties(EMWAPs). | YANG XiaoFen FAN BaoXin WANG XinXin WU LiShan YAO QiBin TONG GuoXiu WU WenHua CHEN DaBo | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,4: | 0 |
| 11 | MEIC-global-CO_(2):A new global CO_(2)emission inventory with highly-resolved source category and sub-country information显示文摘CO_(2)emission inventory provides fundamental data for climate research and emission mitigation.Currently,most global CO_(2)emission inventories were developed with energy statistics from International Energy Agency(IEA)and were available at country level with limited source categories.Here,as the first step toward a high-resolution and dynamic updated global CO_(2)emission database,we developed a data-driven approach to construct seamless and highly-resolved energy consumption data cubes for 208 countries/territories,797 sub-country administrative divisions in 29 countries,42 fuel types,and 52 sectors,with the fusion of activity data from 24 international statistics and 65 regional/local statistics.Global CO_(2)emissions from fossil fuel combustion and cement production in 1970–2021 were then estimated with highly-resolved source category(1,484 of total)and sub-country information(797 of total).Specifically,73%of global CO_(2)emissions in 2021 were estimated with sub-country information,providing considerably improved spatial resolution for global CO_(2)emission accounting.With the support of detailed information,the dynamics of global CO_(2)emissions across sectors and fuel types were presented,representing the evolution of global economy and progress of climate mitigation.Remarkable differences of sectoral contribution were found across sub-country administrative divisions within a given country,revealing the uneven distribution of energy and economic structure among different regions.Our estimates were generally consistent with existing databases at aggregated level for global total or large emitters,while large discrepancies were observed for middle and small emitters.Our database,named the Multiresolution Emission Inventory model for Climate and air pollution research(MEIC)is publicly available through http://gffzz6c575fb1d0a54d36hpxxwo60ux9wu6qq9.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn with highly-resolved information and timely update,which provides an independent carbon emission accounting data source for climate research. | Ruochong XU Dan TONG Qingyang XIAO Xinying QIN Cuihong CHEN Liu YAN Jing CHENG Can CUI Hanwen HU Wenyu LIU Xizhe YAN Huaxuan WANG Xiaodong LIU Guannan GENG Yu LEI Dabo GUAN Kebin HE Qiang ZHANG | 2024 | Science China Earth Sciences2024,67,2: | 0 |
| 12 | Global mitigation efforts cannot neglect emerging emitters显示文摘International efforts to avoid dangerous climate change have historically focused on reducing energy-related CO_(2)emissions from countries with either the largest economies(e.g.the EU and the USA)and/or the largest populations(e.g.China and India).However,in recent years,emissions have surged among a different and much less-examined group of countries,raising concerns that a next generation of high-emitting economies will obviate current mitigation targets.Here,we analyse the trends and drivers of emissions in each of the 59 countries where emissions in 2010-2018 grew faster than the global average(excluding China and India),project their emissions under a range of longer-term energy scenarios and estimate the costs of decarbonization pathways.Total emissions from these’emerging emitters’reach as much as 7.5 GtCO_(2)/year in the baseline 2.5°scenari—substantially greater than the emissions from these regions in previously published scenarios that would limit warming to 1.5℃or even 2℃.Such unanticipated emissions would in turn require non-emitting energy deployment from all sectors within these emerging emitters,and faster and deeper reductions in emissions from other countries to meet international climate goals.Moreover,the annual costs of keeping emissions at the low level are in many cases 0.2%-4.1%of countries’gross domestic production,pointing to potential trade-offs with poverty-reduction goals and/or the need for economic support and low-carbon technology transfer from historically high-emitting countries.Our results thus highlight the critical importance of ramping up mitigation efforts in countries that to this point have been largely ignored. | Can Cui Dabo Guan Daoping Wang Jing Meng Vicky Chemutai Paul Brenton Shaohui Zhang Yuli Shan Qiang Zhang Steven J.Davis | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,12: | 0 |

| 15 | The climate impact of high seas shipping显示文摘Strict carbon emission regulations are set with respect to countries' territorial seas or shipping activities in exclusive economic zones to meet their climate change commitment under the Paris Agreement.However,no shipping policies on carbon mitigation are proposed for the world's high seas regions,which results in carbon intensive shipping activities.In this paper,we propose a Geographic-based Emission Estimation Model(GEEM) to estimate shipping GHG emission patterns on high seas regions.The results indicate that annual emissions of carbon dioxide equivalent(CO_(2)-e) in shipping on the high seas reached 211.60 million metric tonnes in 2019,accounting for about one-third of all shipping emissions globally and exceeding annual GHG emissions of countries such as Spain.The average emission from shipping activities on the high seas is growing at approximately 7.26% per year,which far surpasses the growth rate of global shipping emission at 2.23%.We propose implementation of policies on each high seas region with respect to the main emission driver identified from our results.Our policy evaluation results show that carbon mitigation policies could reduce emissons by 25.46 and 54.36 million tonnes CO_(2)-e in the primary intervention stage and overall intervention stage,respectively,with 12.09% and 25.81% reduction rates in comparison to the2019 annual GHG emissions in high seas shipping. | Yuze Li Peng Jia Shangrong Jiang Haijiang Li Haibo Kuang Yongmiao Hong Shouyang Wang Xueting Zhao Dabo Guan | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,3: | 0 |
