| 1 | Quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for quality traits related to protein and starch in wheat显示文摘Quality traits in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were studied by quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis in a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population, a set of 131 lines derived from Chuan 35050 × Shannong 483 cross (ChSh). Grains from RILs were assayed for 21 quality traits related to protein and starch. A total of 35 putative QTLs for 19 traits with a single QTL explaining 7.99–40.52% of phe- notypic variations were detected on 10 chromosomes, 1D, 2A, 2D, 3B, 3D, 5A, 6A, 6B, 6D, and 7B. The additive effects of 30 QTLs were positive, contributed by Chuan 35050, the remaining 5 QTLs were negative with the additive effect contributed by Shannong 483. For protein traits, 15 QTLs were obtained and most of them were located on chromosomes 1D, 3B and 6D, while 20 QTLs for starch traits were detected and most of them were located on chromosomes 3D, 6B and 7B. Only 7 QTLs for protein and starch traits were co-located in three regions on chromosomes 1D, 2A and 2D. These protein and starch trait QTLs showed a distinct distribution pattern in certain regions and chromosomes. Twenty-two QTLs were clustered in 6 regions of 5 chromosomes. | 2 | Effect of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in patients with malignant tumor:a single-blinded,randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy(CIPN), quality of life and immune status of patients with malignant tumors.METHODS:From Jan, 2013 to May, 2014, 37 patients with malignant tumors were included in this prospective single-blinded study, and randomized to receive either electroacupuncture or acupuncture treatment on basis of chemotherapy.The chemotherapy was continued for 2 courses as previous before the treatments, with 21 days as a course of treatment.Patients received acupuncture and electroacupuncture once per day starting at the day before chemotherapy for consecutive 7 days followed by 14 days off, with 21 days as a course of treatment, and continued for two courses of treatment.Then CIPN, traditional Chinese clinical symptoms,quality of life and immune status were all evaluated for each patient prior treatment and after two courses of treatment.RESULTS:The gender, age, cancer species as well as incidence(83.3% vs 84.2%) and grades of CIPN before treatments were all similar in patients receiving acupuncture or electroacupuncture(all P >0.05).After treatments, most patients with peripheral neuropathy were cured by two courses of electroacupuncture(84.2% vs 21.1%), whereas the other group of patients had similar incidences of peripheral neuropathy compared with prior-acupuncture(83.3% vs 72.2%).Besides, patients receiving electroacupuncture had lower incidence of peripheral neuropathy than those receiving acupuncture treatment(χ~2= 9.745, P = 0.002).The grades of peripheral neuropathy were significantly different in the two groups post-treatment(χ~2= 13.983, P =0.007).The total effective rates for traditional Chinese clinical symptoms were 16.7% and 84.2% in acupuncture and electroacupuncture groups, respectively(Z =-4.239, P < 0.001).The electroacupuncture treatment provided a more satisfactory life for patients compared with acupuncture(Z =-4.76, P < 0.001).Both electroacupuncture and acupuncture had no effects on immune function.CONCLUSION:Electroacupuncture could alleviate CIPN, and improve traditional Chinese clinical symptoms and quality of life, but did not affect immune function. | Zhang Shiqiang Wu Tingting Zhang Haisheng Yang Yun Jiang Haiyan Cao Shengcheng Xie Fang Xia Xiaoting Lü Junqiang Zhong Yi | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017，37，2： | 7 |

| 4 | Depositional Environments of the Upper Permian Quartzose Sandstone(Shandong Province, North China): Insight from Trace Element Geochemistry显示文摘The depositional environment of the Upper Permian quartzose sandstone(Kuishan sandstone in Shihezi Formation of Upper Permian) in the North China epicontinental basin is controversial. In order to test the previous hypotheses, we analyzed sedimentological characteristics of the Kuishan sandstones in outcrops and boreholes, and carried out trace element geochemical analysis by electron probe microanalyzer. Three lithofacies were recognized, including normal-graded conglomerate(Cng), trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc), and planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc). Normal-graded conglomerate(Cng) formed in the meandering river or deltaic distributary channels. Trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc) formed in meandering river or distributary channels of near-source deltaic plain. Planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc) formed in the siliciclastic beach with high- to moderate-energy conditions. By the petrology and trace elements analysis, three relatively large-scale transgressions were revealed. Each transgression was reflected by the lower content of Ba and ratios of Fe/Mn, and the high content of B and ratios of B/Ga. | 5 | Comprehensive review of autoantibodies in patients with hyper-IgM syndrome显示文摘Hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome is an X-linked primary immunodeficiency disease caused by mutations in the CD40 ligand gene.The CD40 ligand has been recently highlighted as playing a key role in the pathogenesis of primary biliary cholangitis.In the present study,we assessed an extensive set of serum autoantibodies in a series of well-defined patients with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome.Serum,liver-related and liver-not-related autoantibodies IgG,IgM and IgA were tested by ELISA and standard indirect immunofluorescence in HEp-2 cells in 13 Tunisian patients(8 males and 5 females,aged 1–12 years)with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome during 1995–2012 and,as controls,21 age-and gender-matched blood donors.The level of IgM antibody against MIT3 was significantly higher in patients than in controls(35.8 vs 10.7,P=0.002).Half of the hyperimmunoglobulin M syndrome patients were found to be anti-MIT3 IgM positive vs none of the controls(Po0.0001).Twenty-three percent of patients were found to be anti-sp100 antibody positive vs only 0.05%of controls.By immunofluorescence,92.3%of patients were MIT3 IgM positive vs none of the controls.In conclusion,the IgM class of anti-MIT3 antibodies was shown to be present by both ELISA and immunofluorescence in most of the patients with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome.The presence of the hallmark of primary biliary cholangitis,a disease where the CD40 ligand is a key player,in an immunodeficiency disease caused by mutations in the CD40 ligand gene is very intriguing and opens new scenarios in understanding the immune pathogenesis of primary biliary cholangitis. | Mohamed-Ridha Barbouche Qubo Chen Marco Carbone Imen Ben-Mustapha Zakera Shums Mehdi Trifa Federica Malinverno Francesca Bernuzzi Haiyan Zhang Nourhen Agrebi Gary L Norman Christopher Chang M Eric Gershwin Pietro Invernizzi | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018，15，6： | 2 |
