| 8 | Hybrid Energy Systems and the Logic of Their Service-Dominant Implementation: Screening the Pathway to Improve Results显示文摘The transition of the global economy to a low-carbon development path has led to dramatic changes in the organization and functioning of energy markets around the world,where hybrid energy systems(HESs)are one of the decisive active agents.At the same time,a number of problems facing the modern HESs are primarily due to the stochastic nature of the renewable energy they use,require further profound changes not only in the technologies they use and how they manage them,necessary to meet the needs of end consumers and interact with the unified energy system,but also to preserve the ability of the environment to self-heal.In order to make the process of changes more efficient and eco-deep,the article proposes to use and discusses the approach based on service dominant(SD)logic,which opens up new opportunities for solving the problems of HESs.First of all through:the implementation of closer service interaction with other participants in the energy markets,as well as with the environment;a systemically organized process of transforming the“product”economic activity of HESs into a service-dominant one;developing the generalized and engineering models for solving the problems of optimizing the technical and economic indicators of HESs,operation in steady-state and transient modes.The calculations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach and its ability to reduce the average daily costs for the system as a whole by 14.7%compared to the costs with a uniform distribution of power between the modules. | Halyna Bielokha Leonora Chupryna Sergey Denisyuk Tatiana Eutukhova Oleksandr Novoseltsev | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,6: | 0 |
| 9 | Conceptual Determinants of Development of Intellectual Capital of Construction Enterprises显示文摘The presence and effective implementation of the intellectual potential of construction enterprises is important for creating unique competitive advantages as a response to challenges caused by globalization, the era of the knowledge economy, as well as the development of communication and information technologies. The purpose of the study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors that contribute to the development of intellectual capital in construction enterprises;development of an algorithm for thorough response by the enterprise to the action of determinants.The following methods were used: Analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction when studying the variety of determinants of the development of intellectual capital;grouping in the process of classifying determinants;statistical methods in the process of researching the reporting of construction enterprises;systematic approach in the process of forming an algorithm of actions aimed at ensuring effective management of the intellectual capital of construction enterprises;abstraction to generalize research results and outline significant trends in changing indicators that reflect the development of individual components of intellectual capital. | 10 | Measuring End-to-End Delay in Low Energy SDN IoT Platform显示文摘In this paper,we developed a new customizable low energy Software Defined Networking(SDN)based Internet of Things(IoT)platform that can be reconfigured according to the requirements of the target IoT applications.Technically,the platform consists of a set of low cost and energy efficient single-board computers,which are interconnected within a network with the software defined configuration.The proposed SDN switch is deployed on Raspberry Pi 3 board usingOpen vSwitch(OvS)software,while theFloodlight controller is deployed on the Orange Pi Prime board.We firstly presented and implemented the method formeasuring a delay introduced by each component of the IoT infrastructure,ranging from the sensor,the core of SDN,the IoT broker,to an IoT subscriber.Thus,we presented the approach for estimating energy efficiency for SDN based IoT platform proportional to the traffic.The experiments carried out on a real SDN topology based on single-board computers show that our approach not only saves up to 53.56%of energy at low traffic intensity,but also provides QoS guarantee for IoT applications. | Mykola Beshley Natalia Kryvinska Halyna Beshley Orest Kochan Leonard Barolli | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,1: | 0 |

| 12 | Centralized QoS Routing Model for Delay/Loss Sensitive Flows at the SDN-IoT Infrastructure显示文摘The rapidly increasing number of Internet of Things(IoT)devices and Quality of Service(QoS)requirements have made the provisioning of network solutions to meet this demand a major research topic.Providing fast and reliable routing paths based on the QoS requirements of IoT devices is very important task for Industry 4.0.The software-defined network is one of the most current interesting research developments,offering an efficient and effective solution for centralized control and network intelligence.A new SDN-IoT paradigm has been proposed to improve network QoS,taking advantage of SDN architecture in IoT networks.At the present time,most publish-subscribe IoT platforms assume the same QoS requirements for all customers.However,in many real-world scenarios of IoT applications,different subscribers may have different E2E delay requirements.Providing reliable differentiated services has become a relevant problem.For this we developed a technique for classifying IoT flows with the individual subscriber recommendation on the importance of certain parameters for particular classes of traffic taken into account.To improve the QoS for mission-critical IoT applications in large-scale SDN-IoT infrastructure,we focused on optimizing routing in the SDN.For this purpose,a centralized routing model based on QoS parameters and IoT priority flow for the SDN was proposed and implemented.We have compared the proposed routing model with the state-of-art deterministic multiconstrained centralized QoS routing model(DMCQR).The developed centralized routing model in comparison with the known DMCQR flow routing achieved better balance of channel resources load due to rational choice of transmission paths for different traffic.And it was possible to reduce up to 3 times the average delay of real time flows service from end to end,for which with the existing DMCQR routing model the permissible delay rates were not met. | Mykola Beshley Natalia Kryvinska Halyna Beshley Mykhailo Medvetskyi Leonard Barolli | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,12: | 0 |
