12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Identification of Odor Volatile Compounds and Deodorization ofPaphia undulata Enzymatic Hydrolysate显示文摘Unfavorable fishy odour is an inevitable problem in aquatic products. In the present study, headspace solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry(HS-SPME-GC-MS) analysis of volatiles from untreated samples and three deodorized samples(under the optimal conditions) of Paphia undulata enzymatic hydrolysate revealed that the compounds contributing to the distinctive odor were 1-octen-3-ol, n-hexanal, n-heptanal, 2,4-heptadienal, and 2,4-decadienal, whereas n-pentanal, n-octanal, n-octanol, benzaldehyde, 2-ethylfuran and 2-pentylfuran were the main contributors to the aromatic flavor. The deodorizing effects of activated carbon(AC) adsorption, yeast extract(YE) masking and tea polyphenol(TP) treatment on a P. undulata enzymatic hydrolysate were investigated using orthogonal experiments with sensory evaluation as the index. The following optimized deodorization conditions were obtained: AC adsorption(35 mg mL^(-1), 80℃, 40 min), YE masking(7 mg mL^(-1), 45℃, 30 min) and TP treatment(0.4 mg mL^(-1), 40℃, 50 min). AC adsorption effectively removed off-flavor volatile aldehydes and ketones. YE masking modified the odor profile by increasing the relative contents of aromatic compounds and decreasing the relative contents of aldehydes and ketones. The TP treatment was not effective in reducing the odor score, but it significantly reduced the relative content of aldehydes while increasing that of alkanes. 3Regional Metabolic Patterns of Abnormal Postoperative Behavioral Performance in Aged Mice Assessed by XH-NMR Dynamic Mapping Method显示文摘Abnormal postoperative neurobehavioral performance(APNP)is a common phenomenon in the early postoperative period.The disturbed homeostatic status of metabolites in the brain after anesthesia and surgery might make a significant contribution to APNP.The dynamic changes of metabolites in different brain regions after anesthesia and surgery,as well as their potential association with APNP are still not well understood.Here,we used a battery of behavioral tests to assess the effects of laparotomy under isoflurane anesthesia in aged mice,and investigated the metabolites in 12 different sub-regions of the brain at different time points using proton nuclear magnetic resonance('H-NMR)spectroscopy.The abnormal neurobehavioral performance occurred at 6 h and/or 9 h,and recovered at 24 h after anesthesia/surgery.Compared with the control group,the altered metabolite of the model group at 6 h was aspartate(Asp),and the difference was mainly displayed in the cortex;while significant changes at 9 h occurred predominantly in the cortex and hippocampus,and the corresponding metabolites were Asp and glutamate(Glu).All changes returned to baseline at 24 h.The altered metabolic changes could have occurred as a result of the acute APNP,and the metabolites Asp and Glu in the cortex and hippocampus could provide preliminary evidence for understanding the APNP process.Taotao Liu Zhengqian Li Jindan He Ning Yang Dengyang Han Yue Li Xuebi Tian Huili Liu Anne Manyande Hongbing Xiang Fuqiang Xu Jie Wang Xiangyang Guo 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,1:2

6A review and a statistical analysis of porosity in metals additively manufactured by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘Additive manufacturing(AM), or 3D printing, is an emerging technology that “adds” materials up and constructs products through a layer-by-layer procedure. Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF) is a powder-bed-based AM technology that can fabricate a large variety of metallic materials with excellent quality and accuracy. However, various defects such as porosity,cracks, and incursions can be generated during the printing process. As the most universal and a near-inevitable defect,porosity plays a substantial role in determining the mechanical performance of as-printed products. This work presents a comprehensive review of literatures that focused on the porosity in LPBF printed metals. The formation mechanisms,evaluation methods, effects on mechanical performance with corresponding models, and controlling methods of porosity have been illustrated and discussed in-depth. Achievements in four representative metals, namely Ti-6Al-4V, 316L, Inconel 718, and Al Si10Mg, have been critically reviewed with a statistical analysis on the correlation between porosity fraction and tensile properties. Ductility has been determined as the most sensitive property to porosity among several key tensile properties. 10Concentrations and distribution of novel brominated flame retardants in the atmosphere and soil of Ny-Alesund and London Island,Svalbard,Arctic显示文摘Novel brominated flame retardants(NBFRs)were investigated in Arctic air and soil samples collected from Ny-?lesund and London Island,Svalbard,during Chinese scientific research expeditions to the Arctic during 2014–2015.The concentrations of 9 NBFRs in the Arctic air and soil were 4.9–8.7 pg/m3(average 6.8 pg/m3)and 101–201 pg/g dw(average 150 pg/g dw),respectively.The atmospheric concentration of hexabromobenzene(HBB)was significantly correlated with that of pentabromotoluene(PBT)and pentabromobenzene(PBBz),suggesting similar source and environmental fate in the Arctic air.No significant spatial difference was observed among the different sampling sites,both for air and soil samples,indicating that the effects of the scientific research stations on the occurrence of NBFRs in the Arctic were minor.The fugacities from soil to air of pentabromoethylbenzene(PBEB),2,3-dibromopropyl 2,4,6-tribromophenyl ether(DPTE),and decabromodiphenylethane 1,2-bis(pentabromophenyl)ethane(DBDPE)were lower than the equilibrium value,indicating a nonequilibrium state of these compounds between air and soil,the dominant impact of deposition and the net transport from air to soil.The correlation analysis between the measured and predicted soil-atmosphere coefficients based on the absorption model showed that the impact of the soil organic matter on the distribution of NBFRs in the Arctic region was minor.To the best of our knowledge,this work is one of the limited reports on atmospheric NBFRs in the Arctic and the first study to investigate the occurrence and fate of NBFRs in the Arctic soil.Yanfen Hao Wenying Meng Yingming Li Xu Han Huili Lu Pu Wang Ruiqiang Yang Qinghua Zhang Guibin Jiang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:1

13Characterization of a novel bispecific antibody targeting tissue factor-positive tumors with T cell engagement显示文摘T cell engaging bispecific antibody(TCB)is an effective immunotherapy for cancer treatment.Through co-targeting CD3 and tumor-associated antigen(TAA),TCB can redirect CD3+T cells to eliminate tumor cells regardless of the specificity of T cell receptor.Tissue factor(TF)is a TAA that involved in tumor progression.Here,we designed and characterized a novel TCB targeting TF(TF-TCB)for the treatment of TF-positive tumors.In vitro,robust T cell activation,tumor cell lysis and T cell proliferation were induced by TF-TCB.The tumor cell lysis activity was dependent upon both CD3 and TF binding moieties of the TF-TCB,and was related to TF expression level of tumor cells.In vivo,in both tumor cell/human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC)co-grafting model and established tumor models with poor T cell infiltration,tumor growth was strongly inhibited by TF-TCB.T cell infiltration into tumors was induced during the treatment.Furthermore,efficacy of TF-TCB was further improved by combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors.For the first time,our results validated the feasibility of using TF as a target for TCB and highlighted the potential for TF-TCB to demonstrate efficacy in solid tumor treatment.Zhidi Pan Jie Chen Xiaodong Xiao Yueqing Xie Hua Jiang Baohong Zhang Huili Lu Yunsheng Yuan Lei Han Yuexian Zhou Huifang Zong Lei Wang Rui Sun Jianwei Zhu 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,4:0
14Hyperspherical Study of Ne_2Kr and Ne_2Xe Systems显示文摘We have calculated the ground state energies and rotational constants for the Ne_2 Kr and Ne_2 Xe systems, as well as their corresponding isotopes using the hyperspherical method. We used B-splines as basis function to expand channel functions and make the knot distribution of B-splines characterize the behavior of the channel function precisely. As a result, the extremely slow convergence of quantum mechanic calculation for these van der Waals trimers containing heavy element is improved greatly. The convergent rotational constants and the isotope shifts are obtained and compared with other theoretical and experimental values. 15Structural characterization of oligosaccharide from Spirulina platensis and its effect on the faecal microbiota in vitro显示文摘In the present study,an oligosaccharide SPO-1 from Spirulina platensis was prepared by glycosidase from a marine bacterium.The prebiotic activity of SPO-1 on the growth of Lactobacillus paracasei and Bifidobacterium animalis,and its effect on human gut microbiota were examined in vitro.The molecular weight of the tetrasaccharide SPO-1 was 650.2 Da,and it was mainly composed of glucose with α-type glycosidic linkages.The prebiotic activity score of SPO-1 was the highest for the growth of probiotic strains L.paracasei and B.animalis.Furthermore,as fermentation proceeded,SPO-1 was gradually degraded and utilized by intestinal bacteria.The results showed that after treatment with SPO-1,carbohydrate consumption and short-chain fatty acids levels were increased,especially those of i-butyric and i-valeric acids.Moreover,SPO-1 significantly promoted the abundance,diversity and composition of gut microbiota,especially stimulating the growth of Bacteroides,Escherichia-Shigella and Megamonas.In addition,the change in intestinal microbiota function predicted by phylogenetic investigation of communities by reconstruction of unobserved states(PICRUSt)after treatment with SPO-1 is mainly related to the terms“carbohydrate metabolism”and“amino acid metabolism”.These results suggest that SPO-1 is a potential oligosaccharide in regulation of intestinal microbiota.Bingna Cai Xiangxi Yi Qian Han Jianyu Pan Hua Chen Huili Sun Peng Wan 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:0

17Gut-on-a-chip for exploring the transport mechanism of Hg(II)显示文摘Animal models and static cultures of intestinal epithelial cells are commonly used platforms for exploring mercury ion(Hg(II))transport.However,they cannot reliably simulate the human intestinal microenvironment and monitor cellular physiology in situ;thus,the mechanism of Hg(II)transport in the human intestine is still unclear.Here,a gut-on-a-chip integrated with transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)sensors and electrochemical sensors is proposed for dynamically simulating the formation of the physical intestinal barrier and monitoring the transport and absorption of Hg(II)in situ.The cellular microenvironment was recreated by applying fluid shear stress(0.02 dyne/cm^(2))and cyclic mechanical strain(1%,0.15 Hz).Hg(II)absorption and physical damage to cells were simultaneously monitored by electrochemical and TEER sensors when intestinal epithelial cells were exposed to different concentrations of Hg(II)mixed in culture medium.Hg(II)absorption increased by 23.59%when tensile strain increased from 1%to 5%,and the corresponding expression of Piezo1 and DMT1 on the cell surface was upregulated.Li Wang Junlei Han Weiguang Su Anqing Li Wenxian Zhang Huimin Li Huili Hu Wei Song Chonghai Xu Jun Chen 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,1:0
