Advances in fabrication of ceramic corundum abrasives based on sol–gel process显示文摘Corundum abrasives with good chemical stability can be fabricated into various free abrasives and bonded abrasive tools that are widely used in the precision machining of various parts. However, these abrasives cannot satisfy the machining requirements of difficult-to-machine materials with high hardness, high strength, and strong wearing resistance.Although superhard abrasives can machine the above-mentioned materials, their dressing and manufacturing costs are high.By contrast, ceramic corundum abrasives fabricated by sol–gel method is a costeffective product between conventional and superhard abrasives.Ceramic corundum abrasives exhibit self-sharpening and high toughness. In this review, the optimization methods of ceramic corundum abrasive properties are introduced from three aspects:precursor synthesis, particle shaping, and sintering.Firstly, the functional mechanism of seeds and additives on the microstructural and mechanical properties of abrasives is analyzed.Specifically, seeds can reduce the phase transition temperature and improve fracture toughness. The grain size and uniformly dense structure can be controlled by applying an appropriate amount of multicomponent additives. Then, the urgent need of engineering application and machinability of special shape ceramic corundum abrasives is reviewed, and three methods of abrasive shaping are summarized. The micromold replication technique is highly advanced and can be used to prepare functional abrasives.Additionally, the influence of a new sintering method,namely,two-step sintering technique,on the microstructural and mechanical performance of ceramic corundum abrasives is summarized. Finally, the challenge and developmental trend of the optimization of ceramic corundum abrasives are prospected. | Baoteng HUANG Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Wenfeng DING Min YANG Yuying YANG Han ZHAI Xuefeng XU Dazhong WANG Sujan DEBNATH Muhammad JAMIL Hao Nan Li Hafiz Muhammad ALI Munish Kumar GUPTA Zafar SAID | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6: | 11
Effect of the graphitic degree of carbon supports on the catalytic performance of ammonia synthesis over Ba-Ru-K/HSGC catalyst显示文摘A series of high surface area graphitic carbon materials(HSGCs) were prepared by ball-milling method. Effect of the graphitic degree of HSGCs on the catalytic performance of Ba-Ru-K/HSGC-x(x is the ball-milling time in hour) catalysts was studied using ammonia synthesis as a probe reaction. The graphitic degree and pore structure of HSGC-x supports could be successfully tuned via the variation of ball-milling time. Ru nanoparticles of different Ba-Ru-K/HSGC-x catalysts are homogeneously distributed on the supports with the particle sizes ranging from 1.6 to 2.0 nm. The graphitic degree of the support is closely related to its facile electron transfer capability and so plays an important role in improving the intrinsic catalytic performance of Ba-Ru-K/HSGC-x catalyst. | Wei Jiang Ying Li Wenfeng Han Yaping Zhou Haodong Tang Huazhang Liu | 2014 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,4: | 8
The uniaxial compressive strength of the Arctic summer sea ice显示文摘The results on the uniaxial compressive strength of Arctic summer sea ice are presented based on the samples collected during the fifth Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in 2012(CHINARE-2012). Experimental studies were carried out at different testing temperatures(-3,-6 and-9°C), and vertical samples were loaded at stress rates ranging from 0.001 to 1 MPa/s. The temperature, density, and salinity of the ice were measured to calculate the total porosity of the ice. In order to study the effects of the total porosity and the density on the uniaxial compressive strength, the measured strengths for a narrow range of stress rates from 0.01 to 0.03 MPa/s were analyzed. The results show that the uniaxial compressive strength decreases linearly with increasing total porosity, and when the density was lower than 0.86 g/cm3, the uniaxial compressive strength increases in a power-law manner with density. The uniaxial compressive behavior of the Arctic summer sea ice is sensitive to the loading rate, and the peak uniaxial compressive strength is reached in the brittle-ductile transition range. The dependence of the strength on the temperature shows that the calculated average strength in the brittle-ductile transition range, which was considered as the peak uniaxial compressive strength, increases steadily in the temperature range from-3 to-9°C. | HAN Hongwei LI Zhijun HUANG Wenfeng LU Peng LEI Ruibo | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,1: | 6
Human-induced landslide on a high cut slope: a case of repeated failures due to multi-excavation显示文摘The paper attempts to represent a case of repeated failures on a high cut slope due to multi-excavation. The characteristics of each failure induced by excavation are analyzed through geological investigation, and then a geological model at different failure stages is proposed. The geological analysis shows that the excavation-induced repeated failures are related to the exposure of the weak bedding plane and the toe unloading of the cut slope. Numerical modeling is conducted based on a sequential method, taking into account the main failure stages of cut slope. The simulation results fairly coincide with the practical phenomena observed in field. It is shown that the decrease in normal stress of displaced mass on cut slope will induce the increase in shear stress in bedding planes and that at the toe of the cut slope. The released stress leads to repeated gravitational instabilities of cut slope due to the decrease in normal stress and the increase in shear stress along the bedding planes of mudstone. | Fanyu Zhang Gao Liu Wenwu Chen Shouyun Liang Ransheng Chen Wenfeng Han | 2012 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2012,4,4: | 6
Single-cell transcriptome analysis reveals widespread monoallelic gene expression in individual rice mesophyll cells显示文摘Monoallelic gene expression refers to the phenomenon that all transcripts of a gene in a cell are expressed from only one of the two alleles in a diploid organism. Although monoallelic gene expression has been occasionally reported with bulk transcriptome analysis in plants, how prevalent it is in individual plant cells remains unknown. Here, we developed a single-cell RNA-seq protocol in rice and investigated allelic expression patterns in mesophyll cells of indica(93-11) and japonica(Nipponbare) inbred lines, as well as their F1 reciprocal hybrids. We observed pervasive monoallelic gene expression in individual mesophyll cells, which could be largely explained by stochastic and independent transcription of two alleles. By contrast, two mechanisms that were proposed previously based on bulk transcriptome analyses, parent-oforigin effects and allelic repression, were not well supported by our data. Furthermore, monoallelically expressed genes exhibited a number of characteristics, such as lower expression levels, narrower H3K4me3/H3K9ac/H3K27me3 peaks, and larger expression divergences between 93-11 and Nipponbare. Taken together, the development of a single-cell RNA-seq protocol in this study offers us an excellent opportunity to investigate the origins and prevalence of monoallelic gene expression in plant cells. | Yingying Han Xiao Chu Haopeng Yu Ying-Ke Ma Xiu-Jie Wang Wenfeng Qian Yuling Jiao | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,19: | 5
HYD-PEP06 suppresses hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis,epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cancer stem cell-like properties by inhibiting PI3K/AKT and WNT/β-catenin signaling activation显示文摘HYD-PEP06,an endostatin-modified polypeptide, has been shown to produce effective anticolorectal carcinoma effects through inhibiting epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT).However, whether HYD-PEP06 has similar suppressive effect on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) remained unknown. In this study,HYD-PEP06 inhibited metastasis and EMT but not proliferation in vitro.Cignal finder pathway reporter array and Western blot analysis revealed that HYD-PEP06 suppressed HCCLM3 cell metastasis and EMT by inhibiting the PI3 K/AKT pathway.Moreover,HYD-PEP06 exerted antimetastasis effects in HepG2 cancer stem-like cells(CSCs) via suppressing the WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway. Finally,in HCCLM3 tumor-bearing BALB/c nu/nu nude mice,HYD-PEP06 substantially suppressed tumor growth, lung metastasis and HCC progress. Our results suggest that HYD-PEP06 inhibits the metastasis and EMT of HCC and CSCs as well, and thus has the potential as an agent for HCC treatment. | Wei Tian Jiatong Li Zhuo Wang Tong Zhang Ying Han Yanyan Liu Wenfeng Chu Yu Liu Baofeng Yang | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6: | 5
Quantum dots protect against MPP+-induced neurotoxicity in a cell model of Parkinson's disease through autophagy induction显示文摘Autophagy is a basic cellular process that decomposes damaged organelles and aberrant proteins. Dysregulation of autophagy is implicated in pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson's disease(PD). Pharmacological compounds that stimulate autophagy can provide neuroprotection in models of PD. Nanoparticles have emerged as regulators of autophagy and have been tested in adjuvant therapy for diseases. In this present study, we explore the effects of quantum dots(QDs) that can induce autophagy in a cellular model of Parkinson's disease. Cd Te/Cd S/Zn S QDs protect differentiated rat pheochromocytoma PC12 cells from MPP+-induced cell damage, including reduced viability, apoptosis and accumulation of α-Synuclein, a characteristic protein of PD. The protective function of QDs is autophagy-dependent. In addition, we investigate the interaction between quantum dots and autophagic pathways and identify beclin1 as an essential factor for QDs-induced autophagy. Our results reveal new promise of QDs in the theranostic of neurodegenerative diseases. | Lu Wang Xiaoming Li Yuping Han Ting Wang Yun Zhao Aldalbahi Ali Nahed Nasser El-Sayed Jiye Shi Wenfeng Wang Chunhai Fan Nan Chen | 2016 | Science China Chemistry2016,59,11: | 3
La_2Ce_2O_7 supported ruthenium as a robust catalyst for ammonia synthesis显示文摘La_2Ce_2O_7 nanoparticles were prepared by citric acid complexation method followed by calcination at varied temperatures. Then, supported with 4 wt% Ru, they were evaluated as the catalysts for ammonia synthesis under conditions similar with industry. With La_2Ce_2O_7 being calcinated at 700 or 800℃, the experimental results indicate that the Ru/La_2Ce_2O_7 catalyst exhibits much higher ammonia concentration or ammonia synthesis rate than that of Ru/CeO_2 and Ru/La_2O_3. In addition, Ru/La_2Ce_2O_7 possesses high stability under over-heating test. In the absence of any promotor, ammonia concentration of Ru/La_2Ce_2O_7 catalyst approaches 14% at 450℃, GHSV of 10000 h^(-1) and pressure of 10 MPa. The rate-determining step of ammonia synthesis, dissociation of N_2 is significantly facilitated by the strong metalesupport interaction(SMSI) between Ru and La_2Ce_2O_7. Due to the interaction, La_2Ce_2O_7 tends to donate electrons to Ru,resulting in the high electron density over the surface of Ru active sites which is favorable for the dissociation of N_2. Consequently, high activity is achieved. | Wenfeng Han Zhi Li Huazhang Liu | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,5: | 3
Ginsenoside Rh2 suppresses colon cancer growth by targeting the miR-150-3p/SRCIN1/Wnt axis显示文摘Ginsenoside Rh2,which is extracted from ginseng, exerts antitumor activity.Recent studies suggest that Rh2 may suppress the growth of colon cancer(CC)in vitro. However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study,we identified the relative levels of miR-150-3p in CC tissues and cells by a comprehensive strategy of data mining, computational biology, and real-time reverse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR)experiments.The regulatory effects of miR-150-3p/SRCIN1 on the proliferative and invasive abilities of CC cells are evaluated by CCK-8,EdU,wound healing, and transwell assays.Cell cycle-and apoptosis-related protein levels are assessed by western blot analysis. An in vivo tumor formation assay was conducted to explore the effects of miR-150-3p on tumor growth.Furthermore, bioinformatics and dual luciferase reporter assays are applied to determine the functional binding of miRNA to mRNA of the target gene. Finally, the relationship between Rh2 and miR-150-3p was further verified in SW620 and HCT-116 cells.miR-150-3p is downregulated in CC tissues and cell lines.Functional assays indicate that the upregulation of miR-150-3p inhibits tumor growth both in vivo and in vitro. In addition,SRCIN1 is upregulated in CC and predicts a poor prognosis, and it is the direct target for miR-150-3p.Moreover,the miR-150-3p mimic decreases Topflash/Fopflash-dependent luciferase activity, resulting in the inhibition of Wnt pathway activity.Rh2 can suppress the growth of CC by increasing miR-150-3p expression.Rh2 alleviates the accelerating effect on Wnt pathway activity, cell proliferation/migration,and colony formation caused by miR-150-3p inhibition.Rh2 inhibits the miR-150-3p/SRCIN1/Wnt axis to suppress colon cancer growth. | Shipeng Li Wenfeng Han Qichen He Yang Wang Gang Jin Youcheng Zhang | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,4: | 2
Role of surface defects of carbon nanotubes on catalytic performance of barium promoted ruthenium catalyst for ammonia synthesis显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) with abundant surface defects are prepared by a liquid oxidation and thermal annealing method. The defective CNTs-D supported Ba–Ru/CNTs-D catalysts exhibit superior catalytic performance in ammonia synthesis with a TOF be increased up to 0.30 s-1, which is 2.5 times of oxidized CNTs-O supported Ba–Ru/CNTs-O catalysts and 5 times of the Ba–Ru/CNTs. The characterizations by CO chemisorption, transmission electron microscope, Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the uniformly well dispersed Ru NPs can be stabilized on the defective sites of CNTs-D. The great improvement of the catalytic performance and stability of the Ba–Ru/CNTs-D is contributed to the strong interaction between Ru NPs and surface defect of the CNTs. | Yongcheng Ma Guojun Lan Wenzhao Fu Ying Lai Wenfeng Han Haodong Tang Huazhang Liu Ying Li | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,2: | 2
Effects of Long-Term Fertilization Strategies on Soil Productivity and Soybean Rhizobial Diversity in a Chinese Mollisol显示文摘Rhizobial diversity is affected by interactions between soil features, fertilization strategy, and cropping system. However, interactions among the rhizobial community, chemical-organic manure fertilization, and plant production have not been well documented in Mollisols from long-term experiments. Aimed at maintaining and recovering the productivity of Chinese Mollisols, a long-term fertilization experiment had been carried out for 29 years under a wheat-maize-soybean rotation system, involving the application of recycled organic manure (ROM), chemical fertilizers (N, P, and/or K), or ROM plus N, P, and/or K. In the present study, the effects of different treatments were evaluated by determining soil physicochemical features, soybean production, and soybean rhizobial diversity. The results showed that application of ROM plus NPK maintained or increased soil fertility, which was accompanied by higher production and higher diversity of rhizobia, as compared with the other treatments. The negative association of Bradyrhizobium japonicum with N fertilizer, positive association of B. diazoefficiens with soil pH, and alleviation of N-inhibition on the diversity of Bradyrhizobium by the addition of ROM were recorded as new findings. Therefore, application of ROM or ROM plus NPK could be a feasible strategy for maintaining and recovering the fertility of Chinese Mollisols, whereas rhizobial diversity could be an indicator of soil fertility. | YAN Jun HAN Xiaozeng CHEN Xu LU Xinchun CHEN Wenfeng WANG Entao ZOU Wenxiu ZHANG Zhiming | 2019 | Pedosphere2019,29,6: | 1

A non-opioid pathway for dynorphin-caused spinal cord injury in rats显示文摘Intrathecal injection of dynorphin into rats via subarachnoid catheter induces damage to spinal cord tissue and motor function. Injection of the kappa opioid receptor antagonist nor-binaltorphine, or the excitatory amino acid N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist MK-801 into rats alleviated the pathological changes of dynorphin-caused spinal cord tissue injury and reduced the acid phosphatase activity in the spinal cord. The experimental findings indicate that there are opioid and non-opioid pathways for dynorphin-induced spinal cord injury, and that the non-opioid receptor pathway may be mediated by the excitatory amino acid N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor. | Yu Chen Liangbi Xiang Jun Liu Dapeng Zhou Hailong Yu Qi Wang Wenfeng Han Mingming Guo | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,11: | 1

Effect of ternary transition metal sulfide FeNi_(2)S_(4)on hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2)显示文摘Hydrogen storage is a key link in hydrogen economy, where solid-state hydrogen storage is considered as the most promising approach because it can meet the requirement of high density and safety.Thereinto,magnesium-based materials(MgH_(2))are currently deemed as an attractive candidate due to the potentially high hydrogen storage density(7.6 wt%),however, the stable thermodynamics and slow kinetics limit the practical application. In this study,we design a ternary transition metal sulfide FeNi_(2)S_(4)with a hollow balloon structure as a catalyst of MgH_(2)to address the above issues by constructing a MgH_(2)/Mg_(2)NiH_(4)-MgS/Fe system.Notably, the dehydrogenation/hydrogenation of MgH_(2)has been significantly improved due to the synergistic catalysis of active species of Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH_(4),MgS and Fe originated from the MgH_(2)-FeNi_(2)S_(4)composite.The hydrogen absorption capacity of the MgH_(2)-FeNi_(2)S_(4)composite reaches to 4.02 wt%at 373 K for 1 h,a sharp contrast to the milled-MgH_(2)(0.67 wt%).In terms of dehydrogenation process, the initial dehydrogenation temperature of the composite is 80 K lower than that of the milled-MgH_(2),and the dehydrogenation activation energy decreases by 95.7 kJ·mol-1 compared with the milled-MgH_(2)(161.2 kJ·mol^(-1)).This method provides a new strategy for improving the dehydrogenation/hydrogenation performance of the MgH_(2)material. | Yaokun Fu Lu Zhang Yuan Li Sanyang Guo Han Yu Wenfeng Wang Kailiang Ren Wei Zhang Shumin Han | 2023 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,8: | 0
Kappa opioid receptor antagonist and N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist affect dynorphin-induced spinal cord electrophysiologic impairment显示文摘The latencies of motor-and somatosensory-evoked potentials were prolonged to different degrees, and wave amplitude was obviously decreased, after injection of dynorphin into the rat subarachnoid cavity. The wave amplitude and latencies of motor-and somatosensory-evoked potentials were significantly recovered at 7 and 14 days after combined injection of dynorphin and either the kappa opioid receptor antagonist nor-binaltorphimine or the N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist MK-801. The wave amplitude and latency were similar in rats after combined injection of dynorphin and nor-binaltorphimine or MK-801. These results suggest that intrathecal injection of dynorphin causes damage to spinal cord function. Prevention of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor or kappa receptor activation lessened the injury to spinal cord function induced by dynorphin. | Yu Chen Liangbi Xiang Jun Liu Dapeng Zhou Hailong Yu Qi Wang Wenfeng Han Weijian Ren | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,7: | 0
Inhibitory role of peroxiredoxin 2 in LRRK2 kinase activity induced cellular pathogenesis显示文摘Parkinson’s disease(PD) is a major neurodegenerative disease. One of the known genetic contributors to PD pathogenesis is leucine-rich repeat kinase 2(LRRK2) whose mutations with elevated kinase activity could lead to both familial and sporadic PD. However, how the pathogenic kinase activity of LRRK2 is regulated remains largely unclear. Here we report that peroxiredoxin 2(Prx2) was identified as a novel interacting protein to LRRK2 with preferential expression in dopaminergic neurons over other Prx proteins. We also confirmed that Prx2 interacted with LRRK2 through its COR domain and its overexpression significantly decreased the kinase activity of mutant LRRK2. Functionally, overexpressed Prx2 rescued the transfected cells from LRRK2 mutant induced apoptotic processes. Importantly, overexpressed Prx2 reversed the altered subcellular distribution of cationindependent mannose 6-phosphate receptor(CI-M6 PR) induced by PD-mutant LRRK2. Our results suggest that,by interacting with LRRK2, Prx2 may play an inhibitory role in the LRRK2 mediated cellular toxicity in PD by inhibiting its kinase activity. | Kang Yan Wenfeng Zhang Xu Han Fei Chang Yongjian Liu | 2020 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2020,34,2: | 0
