1Drilling Force and Temperature of Bone under Dry and Physiological Drilling Conditions显示文摘Many researches on drilling force and temperature have been done with the aim to reduce the labour intensiveness of surgery, avoid unnecessary damage and improve drilling quality. However, there has not been a systematic study of mid- and high-speed drilling under dry and physiological conditions(injection of saline). Furthermore, there is no consensus on optimal drilling parameters. To study these parameters under dry and physiological drilling conditions, pig humerus bones are drilled with medical twist drills operated using a wide range of drilling speeds and feed rates. Drilling force and temperature are measured using a YDZ-II01 W dynamometer and a NEC TVS-500 EX thermal infrared imager, respectively, to evaluate internal bone damage. To evaluate drilling quality, bone debris and hole morphology are observed by SEM(scanning electron microscopy). Changes in drilling force and temperature give similar results during drilling such that the value of each parameter peaks just before the drill penetrates through the osteon of the compact bone into the trabeculae of the spongy bone. Drilling temperatures under physiological conditions are much lower than those observed under dry conditions, while a larger drilling force occurs under physiological conditions than dry conditions. Drilling speed and feed rate have a significant influence on drilling force, temperature, bone debris and hole morphology. The investigation of the effect of drilling force and temperature on internal bone damage reveals that a drilling speed of 4500 r/min and a feed rate of 50 mm/min are recommended for bone drilling under physiological conditions. Drilling quality peaks under these optimal parameter conditions. 2Numerical Simulation of 3-D Wave Crests显示文摘A clear definition of 3-D wave crest and a description of the procedures to detect the boundary of wave crest are presented in the paper. By using random wave theory and directional wave spectrum, a MATLAB-platformed program is designed to simulate random wave crests for various directional spectral conditions in deep water. 3Formation mechanisms and control method for stray grains at melt-back region of Ni-based single crystal seed显示文摘An experimental study together with numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the formation mechanisms and control methods for stray grains at melt-back of seed in this paper.The numerical simulation results showed that the convex solid/liquid(S/L)interface changed very slowly into a concave interface during the initial solidification stage and the undercooling was slightly affected by the S/L curvature change.The formation of stray grains below melt-back interface at seed perimeter could be suppressed with the decrease of clearance between the seed and mold.However when the clearance was further decreased to 0,an orientation deviation layer formed originated from the deformation of un-melted seed caused by different expend coefficient between the seed and mold.The nucleation of stray grains above the melt-back interface at the seed perimeter could be suppressed using the mold with small surface roughness.The isolated un-melted dendrite stem at semi-solid mushy of the seed with the large original primary dendrite spacing transfer to complex network structure,suppressing the formation of the stray grains,when the primary dendrite spacing of seed decreased or the seed underwent solution heat treatment.Then,the formation mechanisms of the stray grains at the melt-back region are discussed based on above results,and a method is proposed to suppress the formation of the stray grains for preparing single crystal components by re-used seed .Songsong Hu Wenchao Yang Zhuoran Li Hanyuan Xu Taiwen Huang Jun Zhang Haijun Su Lin Liu 2021Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4:2

9On the Eigenvalues of General Sum-Connectivity Laplacian Matrix显示文摘The connectivity index was introduced by Randi´c(J.Am.Chem.Soc.97(23):6609–6615,1975)and was generalized by Bollobás and Erdös(Ars Comb.50:225–233,1998).It studies the branching property of graphs,and has been applied to studying network structures.In this paper we focus on the general sum-connectivity index which is a variant of the connectivity index.We characterize the tight upper and lower bounds of the largest eigenvalue of the general sum-connectivity matrix,as well as its spectral diameter.We show the corresponding extremal graphs.In addition,we show that the general sum-connectivity index is determined by the eigenvalues of the general sum-connectivity Laplacian matrix.Hanyuan Deng He Huang Jie Zhang 2013Journal of the Operations Research Society of China2013,1,3:1
10Understanding the commonalities and differences in genomic organizations across closely related bacteria from an energy perspective显示文摘The availability of a large number of sequenced bacterial genomes facilitates in-depth studies about why genes(operons)in a bacterial genome are globally organized the way they are.We have previously discovered that(the relative)transcription-activation frequencies among different biological pathways encoded in a genome have a dominating role in the global arrangement of operons.One complicating factor in such a study is that some operons may be involved in multiple pathways with different activation frequencies.A quantitative model has been developed that captures this information,which tends to be minimized by the current global arrangement of operons in a bacterial(and archaeal)genome compared to possible alternative arrangements.A study is carried out here using this model on a collection of 52 closely related Escherichia coli genomes,which revealed interesting new insights about how bacterial genomes evolve to optimally adapt to their environments through adjusting the(relative)genomic locations of the encoding operons of biological pathways once their utilization and hence transcription activation frequencies change,to maintain the above energy-efficiency property.More specifically we observed that it is the frequencies of the transcription activation of pathways relative to those of the other encoded pathways in an organism as well as the variation in the activation frequencies of a specific pathway across the related genomes that play a key role in the observed commonalities and differences in the genomic organizations of genes(and operons)encoding specific pathways across different genomes.MA Qin CHEN Xin LIU Chao MAO XiZeng ZHANG HanYuan JI Fei WU ChunGuo XU Ying 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,11:1

12Design and Evaluation of an Exergame System of Knee with the Azure Kinect显示文摘Timely and effective knee function evaluation and knee exercises promote the prevention and self-management of knee diseases.In this paper,aKinectbased exergame system is proposed to assess and train the knee function.Azure Kinect was used to capture and generate 3D models of the user and immerse them in an interactive virtual environment.The software included three functional modules:knee function evaluation,Knee exercises game,and Comprehensive evaluation.The stand,step,leg lift,and squat were selected for knee function evaluation and exercises.Twenty volunteers participated in the experiment.Intraclass correlation coefficients(ICCs)were calculated to assess the reliability of kinematic measurements of knee angles during the movements.The ICC of these movements were stand(ICC=0.987),step(ICC=0.997),left leg lift(ICC=0.981),right leg lift(ICC=0.990),stand(ICC=0.998).The results show that the test-retest reliability is high.It means that the motion capture data is effective and the data obtained by Kinect is stable.Guangjun Wang Ming Cheng Xueshu Wang Yi Fan Xin Chen Liangliang Yao Hanyuan Zhang Zuchang Ma 2021国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2021,,2:0
13Contamination and human health risk assessment of heavy metal(loid)s in topsoil and groundwater around mining and dressing factories in Chifeng,North China显示文摘Chifeng is a concentrated mining area for non-ferrous metal minerals,as well as a key prevention and control area for heavyduty enterprises.This situation necessitates an efective ecological and human health risk assessment of heavy metal(loid)s driven by the wide distribution of metal ore processing,mining,and smelting factories in Hexigten Banner and Bairin Left Banner.We conducted surveys to assess the levels of heavy metal(loid)s(Cr,As,Pb,Cd,and Hg)in the topsoil and groundwater of the areas.The results indicated that the concentrations of As,Cd,and Pb in partial soil samples exceeded the environmental quality standards of Grade II.Based on contamination assessments,such as geoaccumulation indices and pollution indices,we inferred that Cd,Pb,and As were primary pollutants in topsoil.Potential ecological risks when considered as part of the average risk indices(RI)are up to 1626.40 and 2818.76,respectively,in the two areas.Comparative analysis revealed that Cd posed a very high potential ecological risk,followed by As.Moreover,the evaluation showed that the three exposure pathways of carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risk followed a descending order:inhalation>ingestion>dermal contact,except for Pb.Arsenic in topsoil posed a potential non-carcinogenic risk to human health,while there were no adverse efects of As in groundwater.In addition,the average total carcinogenic risk for As in the two areas,as well as the risk of Pb in the topsoil of Bairin Left Banner and all the fve heavy metal(loid)s in groundwater,exceeded human tolerance.Pb–Zn mines caused higher human health risks.In addition,the tandem contamination of heavy metal(loid)s in soil and groundwater was not obvious.This research study provides a basis for pollution remediation to control heavy industry-induced ecological and health risks of heavy metal(loid)s.Di Zhao Qiang Wu Yifan Zeng Juan Zhang Aoshuang Mei Xiaohui Zhang Shuai Gao Hanyuan Wang Honglei Liu Yong Zhang Shuai Qi Xu Jia 2023International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2023,10,1:0
14Low limit of detection of the AlGaN/GaN-based sensor by the Kelvin connection detection technique显示文摘The AlGaN/GaN-based sensor is a promising POCT(point-of-care-testing)device featuring miniaturization,low cost,and high sensitivity.BNP is an effective protein biomarker for the early diagnosis of HF(heart failure).In this work,a novel AlGaN/GaN device with the Kelvin connection structure and the corresponding detection technique was proposed.This technique can effectively suppress the background noise and improve the SNR(signal-to-noise ratio).A BNP detection experiment was carried out to verify the effectiveness of this technique.It is shown that compared with that of the traditional detection method,the LOD(limit of detection)was improved from 0.47 ng/mL to 1.29 pg/mL.The BNP detection experiment was also carried out with a traditional electrochemical Au-electrode sensor with the same surface functionalization steps.The AlGaN/GaN sensor showed a better LOD than the Au-electrode sensor.Moreover,the influence of AlGaN/GaN sensor package on background noise was investigated with the mechanism of the noise source revealed.Finally,based on the optimized package,the optimal SNR quiescent operating point of the AlGaN/GaN sensor was determined.By biasing the sensor at the optimal quiescent operating point and immobilizing the magnetic beads with anti-BNP on the gate of the AlGaN/GaN sensor,the LOD for BNP detection was further improved to 0.097 pg/mL.Hanyuan Zhang Ying Gan Shu Yang Kuang Sheng Ping Wang 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,4:0
