1Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. 2Arc corrosion behavior of Cu-Ti_3AlC_2 composites in air atmosphere显示文摘The arc corrosion evolution of Cu-20 vol.% Ti_3 AlC_2 cathodes is presented here. After eroded by 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 kV DC voltage, respectively, the surface morphologies were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope with craters and protrusions. Compared to small craters and dense protrusions of the morphology by high voltage, the eroded surface was covered with bigger craters and sparse protrusions at low voltage. No crack was discovered on the surface even at 10 kV. By means of energy dispersive spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy, the decomposition of Cu-20 vol.% Ti_3 AlC_2 cathode to CuO,Al__2 O_3 and TiO_2 were proved. Meanwhile, W anode is oxidized to WO_2. 3s-HBEGF/SIRT1 circuit-dictated crosstalk between vascular endothelial cells and keratinocytes mediates sorafenib-induced hand-foot skin reaction that can be reversed by nicotinamide显示文摘Hand-foot skin reaction(HFSR),among the most significant adverse effects of sorafenib,has been limiting the clinical benefits of this frontline drug in treating various malignant tumors.The mechanism underlying such toxicity remains poorly understood,hence the absence of effective intervention strategies.In the present study,we show that vascular endothelial cells are the primary cellular target of sorafenib-induced HFSR wherein soluble heparin-binding epidermal growth factor(s-HBEGF)mediates the crosstalk between vascular endothelial cells and keratinocytes.Mechanistically,s-HBEGF released from vascular endothelial cells activates the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)on keratinocytes and promotes the phosphorylation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase 2(JNK2),which stabilizes sirtuin 1(SIRT1),an essential keratinization inducer,and ultimately gives rise to HFSR.The administration of s-HBEGF in vivo could sufficiently induce hyper-keratinization without sorafenib treatment.Furthermore,we report that HBEGF neutralization antibody,Sirtl knockdown,and a classic SIRTI inhibitor nicotinamide could all significantly reduce the sorafenib-induced HFSR in the mouse model.It is noteworthy that nicotinic acid,a prodrug of nicotinamide,could substantially reverse the sorafenib-induced HFSR in ten patients in a preliminary clinical study.Collectively,our findings reveal the mechanism of vascular endothelial cell-promoted keratinization in keratinocytes and provide a potentially promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of sorafenib-induced HFSR.Peihua Luo Hao Yan Xueqin Chen Ying Zhang Ziying Zhao Ji Cao Yi Zhu Jiangxia Du Zhifei Xu Xiaochen Zhang Su Zeng Bo Yang Shenglin Ma Qiaojun He 2020Cell Research2020,30,9:5
4Recent advances of Cu-based hole transport materials and their interface engineering concerning different processing methods in perovskite solar cells显示文摘In recent years, perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have become a much charming photovoltaic technology and have triggered enormous studies worldwide, owing to their high efficiency, low cost and ease of preparation. The power conversion efficiency has rapidly increased by more than 6 times to the current 25.5% in the past decade. Hole transport materials (HTMs) are an indispensable part of PSCs, which great affect the efficiency, the cost and the stability of PSCs. Inorganic Cu-based p-type semiconductors are a kind of representative inorganic HTMs in PSCs due to their unique advantages of rich variety, low cost, excellent hole mobility, adjustable energy levels, good stability, low temperature and scalable processing ability. In this review, the research progress in new materials and the control of photoelectric properties of Cu-based inorganic HTMs were first summarized systematically. And then, concerning different processing methods, advances of the interface engineering of Cu-based hole transport layers (HTLs) in PSCs were detailly discussed. 5Photocatalyst with Chloroplast-like Structure for Enhancing Hydrogen Evolution Reaction显示文摘Photosynthesis with the chloroplast works efficiently because of the envelope structure that serves to carry enzymes and to simultaneously maintain the spatial separation of photosynthesis and cellular respiration.Inspired by the spatially separated architecture,a chloroplast-like structured photocatalyst(PdS@CdS@MoS_(2)),in which the PdS and MoS_(2) function as enzymes in the chloroplast and CdS shell functions as the chloroplast envelope,was developed to improve the photocatalytic H_(2) evolution.In this unique nanoscale bionic structure,the poriferous CdS shell enhances light absorption,generates photoinduced carriers,and separates oxidation and reduction reactions.Meanwhile,PdS and MoS_(2) dual cocatalysts enhance the charge separation efficiency through forming a built-in electric field with CdS.We demonstrate that the separation efficiency of carriers,carrier lifetime,and the yield of H_(2) are both higher than that of CdS nanoparticles,evidencing the feasibility of the chloroplast-like structure in enhancing the photocatalyst activity.This work emphasizes the synergism of the three key processes of the photocatalytic reaction by simulating the chloroplast structure and provides a general synthesis strategy,the synthesis of novel structured for photocatalysts for diverse applications in the energy field.Fei Zhao Nan Zhang Hao Li Xiaochen Zhang Zhengtang Luo Yuhua Wang 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4:2

12Recent Progress of Bio-inspired Camouflage Materials:From Visible to Infrared Range显示文摘The adaptability of biological organisms to the environment is reflected in many aspects,especially in their camouflage of appearance.Inspired by biological camouflage strategies,a number of adaptive camouflage materials and devices have been developed to protect soldiers,vehicles,or equipment in the military.Today,the need for adaptive camouflage extends into people’s lives,whose privacy and information security need to be protected in the era of big data.Herein,a review is provided on the recent advancements of adaptive camouflage from the perspective of biological organisms and bio-inspired materials.Firstly,according to different biological mechanisms,we review the typical organisms that use pigmentary color,structural color,and morphological variation for adaptive camouflage,as well as those combine these strategies.Then,we provide an up-to-date review on recent developments in bio-inspired adaptive camouflage materials and devices with an emphasis on visible,infrared,and multispectral camouflage.At last,this review concludes the challenges and prospects for the future development of adaptive camouflage materials.It is noteworthy that there is never the best camouflage.To counter advanced detection techniques,it is necessary to unremittingly develop new materials and technologies to meet the increasing need for adaptive camouflage.BU Xiaochen BAI Hao 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,1:1

14Measurement of the absorption coefficient for acoustical coating samples using multi-channel inverse filter显示文摘A method of measuring the absorption coefficient for acoustical coating samples by use of the multi-channel inverse filter based on the least square method was proposed.First,the responses of the circuit channels and the underwater acoustical channels are estimated,the retransmitted inverse signals for the multiple transducers can be estimated using the least square method,and the cost function constructed by the multi-channel inverse filtering theory can be solved.Then,by retransmitting the inverse signals,the incident signal at the position of the acoustical coating sample is focused with high resolution,low level of side lobes and a narrow pulse signal in temporal domain,which improves the measurement accuracy of the absorption coefficient for acoustical coating samples at low frequencies.The performance of the spatio-temporal focusing for the proposed method is demonstrated by simulations.The validity of the method is verified by experiments carried out in a cylindrical tank for a steel plate sample in the frequency range 0.8-5.0 kHz.The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective to the measurement of the absorption coefficient for acoustical coating samples in non-free field,and is especially applicable to low-frequency measurements.SONG Hao MA Xiaochen LI Jun LI Jianlong 2020Chinese Journal of Acoustics2020,39,3:0

16Synergy of phosphorus vacancies and build-in electric field into NiCo/NiCoP Mott-Schottky integrated electrode for enhanced water splitting performance显示文摘Vacancy engineering and Mott-Schottky heterostructure can accelerate charge transfer,regulate adsorption energy of reaction intermediates,and provide additional active sites,which are regarded as valid means for improving catalytic activity.However,the underlying mechanism of synergistic regulation of interfacial charge transfer and optimization of electrocatalytic activity by combining vacancy and Mott-Schottky junction remains unclear.Herein,the growth of a bifunctional NiCo/NiCoP Mott-Schottky electrode with abundant phosphorus vacancies on foam nickel(NF)has been synthesized through continuous phosphating and reduction processes.The obtained NiCo/NiCoP heterojunctions show remarkable OER and HER activities,and the overpotentials for OER and HER are as low as 117 and 60 mV at 10 mA/cm^(2) in 1 mol/L KOH,respectively.Moreover,as both the cathode and anode of overall water splitting,the voltage of the bifunctional NiCo/NiCoP electrocatalyst is 1.44 V at 10 mA/cm^(2),which are far exceeding the benchmark commercial electrodes.DFT theoretical calculation results confirm that the phosphorus vacancies and build-in electric field can effectively accelerate ion and electron transfer between NiCo alloy and NiCoP semiconductor,tailor the electronic structure of the metal centers and lower the Gibbs free energy of the intermediates.Furthermore,the unique self-supported integrated structure is beneficial to facilitate the exposure of the active site,avoid catalyst shedding,thus improving the activity and structural stability of NiCo/NiCoP.This study provides an avenue for the controllable synthesis and performance optimization of Mott-Schottky electrocatalysts.Xiaochen Zhang Hui Xue Jing Sun Niankun Guo Tianshan Song Jiawen Sun Yi-Ru Hao Qin Wang 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,2:0
17Relationships between selfreflectiveness and clinical symptoms in individuals during pre-morbid and early clinical stages of psychosis显示文摘Background Self-reflectiveness,one dimension of cognitive insight,plays a protective role in an individual’s mental state.Both high and low levels of self-reflectiveness have been reported in patients with schizophrenia and individuals at clinical high risk for the illness.Aims This study aimed to explore the relationship patterns between self-reflectiveness and clinical symptoms in individuals during the pre-morbid and early clinical stages of psychosis.Methods A total of 181 subjects,including individuals with attenuated positive symptoms(APS,n=122)and patients with first-episode psychosis(FEP,n=59),completed the Beck Cognitive Insight Scale and were evaluated using the Schedule of Assessment of Insight and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale.All subjects were classified into three groups according to their level of selfreflectiveness:low level(LSR,n=59),medium level(MSR,n=67)and high level(HSR,n=55).Both linear and nonlinear relationships between self-reflectiveness and clinical symptoms were explored.Results More individuals with APS were classified into the MSR group,while more patients with FEP were classified into the LSR group.The LSR group demonstrated less awareness of illness than the MSR and HSR groups,more stereotyped thinking and poorer impulse control but less anxiety than the MSR group,and lower levels of blunted affect and guilt feelings than the HSR group.The MSR group demonstrated lower stereotyped thinking than the HSR group.Compared to the LSR group,the MSR group had increased selfreflectiveness,improved awareness of illness,decreased stereotyped thinking,and better impulse control,but increased feelings of guilt.The HSR group showed increased stereotyped thinking when compared to the MSR group,but the other variables did not change significantly between these two groups.Overall,self-reflectiveness demonstrated an approximately inverse S-shaped relationship with the awareness of illness,a U-shaped relationship with stereotyped thinking and poor impulse control,and an almost linear relationship with anxiety and guilt feelings.Conclusions Self-reflectiveness demonstrates complex relationships with clinical symptoms and fails to exert significant positive effects when reaching a certain high level.Lihua Xu Huiru Cui Yanyan Wei Zhenying Qian Xiaochen Tang Yegang Hu Yingchan Wang Hao Hu Qian Guo Yingying Tang Tianhong Zhang Jijun Wang 2022General Psychiatry2022,35,3:0

19Joint UAV trajectory and communication design with heterogeneous multi-agent reinforcement learning显示文摘Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are recognized as effective means for delivering emergency communication services when terrestrial infrastructures are unavailable.This paper investigates a multiUAV-assisted communication system,where we jointly optimize UAVs'trajectories,user association,and ground users(GUs)'transmit power to maximize a defined fairness-weighted throughput metric.Owing to the dynamic nature of UAVs,this problem has to be solved in real time.However,the problem's non-convex and combinatorial attributes pose challenges for conventional optimization-based algorithms,particularly in scenarios without central controllers.To address this issue,we propose a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL)approach to provide distributed and online solutions.In contrast to previous MADRLbased methods considering only UAV agents,we model UAVs and GUs as heterogeneous agents sharing a common objective.Specifically,UAVs are tasked with optimizing their trajectories,while GUs are responsible for selecting a UAV for association and determining a transmit power level.To learn policies for these heterogeneous agents,we design a heterogeneous coordinated QMIX(HC-QMIX)algorithm to train local Q-networks in a centralized manner.With these well-trained local Q-networks,UAVs and GUs can make individual decisions based on their local observations.Extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks in terms of total throughput and system fairness.Xuanhan ZHOU Jun XIONG Haitao ZHAO Xiaoran LIU Baoquan REN Xiaochen ZHANG Jibo WEI Hao YIN 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,3:0
20Photovoltaics and Energy Storage Integrated Flexible Direct Current Distribution Systems of Buildings:Definition,Technology Review,and Application显示文摘For a future carbon-neutral society,it is a great challenge to coordinate between the demand and supply sides of a power grid with high penetration of renewable energy sources.In this paper,a general power distribution system of buildings,namely,PEDF(photovoltaics,energy storage,direct current,flexibility),is proposed to provide an effective solution from the demand side.A PEDF system integrates distributed photovoltaics,energy storages(including traditional and virtual energy storage),and a direct current distribution system into a building to provide flexible services for the external power grid.System topology and control strategies at the grid,building,and device levels are introduced and analyzed.We select representative work about key technologies of the PEDF system in recent years,analyze research focuses,and summarize their major challenges&future opportunities.Then,we introduce three real application cases of the PEDF system.On-site measurement results demonstrate its feasibility and advantages.With the rapid growth of renewable power production and electric vehicles,the PEDF system is a potential and promising approach for largescale integration of renewable energy in a carbon-neutral future.Xiaochen Liu Xiaohua Liu Yi Jiang Tao Zhang Bin Hao 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,3:0
