| 1 | Methylmercury and sulfate-reducing bacteria in mangrove sediments from Jiulong River Estuary,China显示文摘Estuaries are important sites for mercury (Hg) methylation,with sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) thought to be the main Hg methylators.Distributions of total mercury (THg) and methylmercury (MeHg) in mangrove sediment and sediment core from Jiulong River Estuary Provincial Mangrove Reserve,China were determined and the possible mechanisms of Hg methylation and their controlling factors in mangrove sediments were investigated.Microbiological and geochemical parameters were also determined.Results showed that SRB constitute a small fraction of total bacteria (TB) in both surface sediments and the profile of sediments.The content of THg,MeHg,TB,and SRB were (350±150)ng/g,(0.47±0.11)ng/g,(1.4×10 11±4.1×109)cfu/g dry weight (dw),and (5.0×106±2.7×106)cfu/g dw in surficial sediments,respectively,and (240±24)ng/g,(0.30±0.15)ng/g,(1.9×1011± 4.2×1010)cfu/g dw,and (1.3×106± 2.0×106) cfu/g dw in sediment core,respectively.Results showed that THg,MeHg,TB,MeHg/THg,salinity and total sulfur (TS) increased with depth,but total organic matter (TOM),SRB,and pH decreased with depth.Concentrations of MeHg in sediments showed significant positive correlation with THg,salinity,TS,and MeHg/THg,and significant negative correlation with SRB,TOM,and pH.It was concluded that other microbes,rather than SRB,may also act as main Hg methylators in mangrove sediments. | Hao Wu Zhenhua Ding Yang Liu Jinling Liu Haiyu Yan Jiayong Pan Liuqiang Li Huina Lin Guanghui Lin Haoliang Lu | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1: | 17 |
| 2 | 线栓法制备SD大鼠局灶性脑缺血/再灌注模型的改良研究显示文摘目的本研究的目的旨在对传统线栓法制备大鼠局灶性脑缺血/再灌注模型方法进行改良以提高实验成功率。方法选择SD大鼠50只,对传统制备方法进行改良。改良方法包括:1)激光多普勒流量仪监测脑血流;2)将脑血流严格降低到正常15%以下;3)对侧颈总动脉夹闭;4)选择头端5 mm包被硅橡胶直径0.35 mm的尼龙线作为栓线。结果脑血流监测可准确判断插线是否成功,当栓线插到合适位置时,脑血流迅速下降至30%以下,但很少降到15%以下;对侧颈总动脉夹闭,一般可将脑血流降至正常15%以下。造模成功率88%。结论改良后方法优于传统方法,制备模型过程中,严密监测脑血流、夹闭左颈总动脉以严格控制脑血流量至正常15%以下,是提高造模成功率的关键。应用头端包被硅橡胶的丝线对血管损伤小。 | 沈斌 Xu Haoliang | 2007 | 首都医科大学学报2007,28,6: | 11 |
| 3 | Processes of coastal ecosystem carbon sequestration and approaches for increasing carbon sink显示文摘The oceans are the largest carbon pools on Earth, and play the role of a 'buffer' in climate change. Blue carbon, the carbon(mainly organic carbon) captured by marine ecosystems, is one of the important mechanisms of marine carbon storage.Blue carbon was initially recognized only in the form of visible coastal plant carbon sequestration. In fact, microorganisms(phytoplankton, bacteria, archaea, viruses, and protozoa), which did not receive much attention in the past, account for more than 90% of the total marine biomass and are the main contributors to blue carbon. Chinese coastal seas, equivalent to 1/3 of China's total land area, have a huge carbon sink potential needing urgently research and development. In this paper, we focus on the processes and mechanisms of coastal ocean's carbon sequestration and the approaches for increasing that sequestration. We discuss the structures of coastal ecosystems, the processes of carbon cycle, and the mechanisms of carbon sequestration. Using the evolution of coastal ocean's carbon sinks in sedimentary records over geologic times, we also discuss the possible effects of natural processes and anthropogenic activities on marine carbon sinks. | 4 | Two-dimensional optical spatial differentiation and high-contrast imaging显示文摘Optical analog signal processing technology has been widely studied and applied in a variety of science and engineering fields, with the advantages of overcoming the low-speed and high-power consumption associated with its digital counterparts. Much attention has been given to emerging metasurface technology in the field of optical imaging and processing systems. Here, we demonstrate, for the first time, broadband two-dimensional spatial differentiation and high-contrast edge imaging based on a dielectric metasurface across the whole visible spectrum. This edge detection method works for both intensity and phase objects simply by inserting the metasurface into a commercial optical microscope. | 6 | Moving Behavior of an Object in Gas-Solid Fluidized Beds显示文摘The settling behavior of coarse particles in a gas-solid fluidized bed was experimentally studied by using magnetic tracer. It is well known that the calculation of terminal velocity is of interest in dense medium separation. However, this problem has not been completely solved up to now. In this work, the terminal velocity of an object mov-ing in a gas-solid fluidized bed was experimentally measured and theoretically calculated. The experimental results in-dicated that the plastic viscosity and yield stress of the bed increase as the size of fluidized particles increases, but it varies little when some coarser particles are mixed with the fluidized particles. The resistance to a rising object was an order magnitude greater than that to a settling object. The efficient buoyancy on a flaky object, which lies flatly on the gas distributor, was much less than that calculated by the Archimedes principle. The object does not always rise or set-tle with minimal projective area owing to radial motion of the fluidized particles. | 7 | Microstructures and high-temperature self-lubricating wearresistance mechanisms of graphene-modified WC–12Co coatings显示文摘To reduce the friction coefficient of cobalt-cemented tungsten carbide(WC–12Co)wear-resistant coatings,graphene was compounded into WC–12Co powder via wet ball milling and spray granulation.Selflubricating and wear-resistant graphene coatings were prepared via detonation gun spraying.The presence,morphologies,and phase compositions of graphene in the powders and coatings that are obtained through different powder preparation processes were analyzed.The analysis was performed using the following technologies:energy-dispersive X-ray-spectroscopy(EDXS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and Raman spectroscopy.The mechanical properties of the coatings were studied using a microhardness tester and a universal drawing machine.The friction and wear properties of the coatings were studied using an SRV-4 friction and wear tester.The results showed that the graphene content in the WC–12Co coating modified with graphene was higher than that without modification;graphene was embedded in the structure in a transparent and thin-layer state.The adhesive strength of this coating at approximately 25°C was approximately 60.33 MPa,and the hardness was approximately 984 HV0.3.After high-temperature treatment,the adhesive strength and hardness of the graphene oxide(GO)/WC–12Co coating decreased slightly(the lowest adhesive strength of 53.16 MPa was observed after treatment at 400°C,and the lowest hardness of approximately 837 HV0.3 was observed after treatment at 300°C).Compared to the friction coefficient(0.6)of the WC–12Co coating obtained at room temperature,the friction coefficient of the GO/WC–12Co coating was decreased by approximately 50%of that value.The graphene-modified coating was continuously exposed to the wear tracks on the surface of the contacting materials during friction,and a lubricating film was formed in the microareas in which the wear tracks were present.The coating exhibited improved self-lubricating and wear-resistant effects compared to the unmodified WC–12Co coating.The results of this study demonstrated that graphene could be effective in self-lubrication and wear-reduction in a temperature range of 100–200°C,as a friction coefficient of 0.3 was maintained. | Haoliang TIAN Changliang WANG Mengqiu GUO Yongjing CUI Junguo GAO Zhihui TANG | 2021 | Friction2021,9,2: | 4 |
| 8 | Effects of stress dependent electrochemical reaction on voltage hysteresis of lithium ion batteries显示文摘Intercalation of lithium ions into the electrodes of lithium ion batteries is affected by the stress of active materials, leading to energy dissipation and stress dependent voltage hysteresis. A reaction-diffusion-stress coupling model is established to investigate the stress effects under galvanostatic and potentiostatic operations. It is found from simulations that the stress hysteresis contributes to the voltage hysteresis and leads to the energy dissipation. In addition, the stress induced voltage hysteresis is small in low rate galvanostatic operations but extraordinarily significant in high rate cases. In potentiostatic operations, the stresses and stress induced overpotentials increase to a peak value very soon after the operation commences and decays all the left time. Therefore,a combined charge-discharge operation is suggested, i.e., first the galvanostatic one and then the potentiostatic one. | 9 | Event-triggered neural network control of autonomous surface vehicles over wireless network显示文摘In this paper, an event-triggered neural network control method is proposed for autonomous surface vehicles subject to uncertainties and input constraints over wireless network. An event-triggered mechanism with three logic rules is employed to determine the wireless data transmission of states and control inputs. An event-driven neural network is applied to approximate the uncertainties using aperiodic sampled states. In addition, a predictor is employed to update the weights of neural network. An event-based bounded kinetic control law is applied to address the actuator constraints. The advantage of the proposed event-triggered neural network control approach is that the network traffic can be reduced while guaranteeing system stability and speed following performance. The closed-loop control system is proved to be input-tostate stable via cascade theory. The Zeno behavior can be avoided via the proposed event-triggered neural network control approach. | 12 | ORDINAL REGRESSION FOR INFORMATION RETRIEVAL显示文摘This letter presents a new discriminative model for Information Retrieval (IR), referred to as Ordinal Regression Model (ORM). ORM is different from most existing models in that it views IR as ordinal regression problem (i.e. ranking problem) instead of binary classification. It is noted that the task of IR is to rank documents according to the user information needed, so IR can be viewed as ordinal regression problem. Two parameter learning algorithms for ORM are presented. One is a perceptron-based algorithm. The other is the ranking Support Vector Machine (SVM). The effec- tiveness of the proposed approach has been evaluated on the task of ad hoc retrieval using three English Text REtrieval Conference (TREC) sets and two Chinese TREC sets. | 13 | INFORMATION RETRIEVAL FOR SHORT DOCUMENTS显示文摘The major problem of the most current approaches of information models lies in that individual words provide unreliable evidence about the content of the texts. When the document is short, e.g. only the ab-stract is available, the word-use variability problem will have substantial impact on the Information Retrieval (IR) performance. To solve the problem, a new technology to short document retrieval named Reference Document Model (RDM) is put forward in this letter. RDM gets the statistical semantic of the query/document by pseudo feedback both for the query and document from reference documents. The contributions of this model are three-fold: (1) Pseudo feedback both for the query and the document; (2) Building the query model and the document model from reference documents; (3) Flexible indexing units, which can be any linguistic elements such as documents, paragraphs, sentences, n-grams, term or character. For short document retrieval, RDM achieves significant improvements over the classical probabilistic models on the task of ad hoc retrieval on Text REtrieval Conference (TREC) test sets. LM-7, as a new generation of medium and basic launch vehicle based on the design concepts of non-toxic and nonpolluting, was developed for the purpose of launching a cargo spacecraft to the Chinese space station. Based on the experience on launching cargo spacecraft and satellites, LM-7 can be adapted for mainstream satellite launch missions in the future with its characteristics of serialization and continuous optimization. LM-7 is expected to be used to launch manned spacecraft in the future. In this study, a transient characteristics verification method is proposed for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer used in a flexible HVDC system based on resampling technology and LabVIEW measurement technology after analyzing the key technology for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer. | 20 | Thermal Expansion and Mechanical Properties of Middle Reinforcement Content SiCp/Al Composites Fabricated by PM Technology显示文摘Middle reinforcement content SiCp/Al composites(Vp=30%, 35% and 40%) for precision optical systems applications were fabricated by powder metallurgy technology. The composites were free of porosity and SiC particles distributed uniformly in the composites. The mean linear coefficients of thermal expansion(20-100 ℃) of SiCp/Al composites ranged from 11.6×10-6 to 13.3×10-6 K-1 and decreased with an increase in volume fraction of SiC content. The experimental coeffi cients of thermal expansion agreed well with predicted values based on Kerner's model. The Brinell hardness increased from 116 to 147, and the modulus increased from 99 to 112 GPa for the corresponding composites.
