1Effects of the Dietary Probiotic Clostridium butyricum on Intestine Digestive and Metabolic Capacities, SCFA Content and Body Composition in Marsupenaeus japonicus显示文摘A 56-day feeding trial was performed to evaluate the effects of dietary probiotic Clostridium butyricum(CB) on intestine digestive and metabolic capacities, intestine short-chain fatty acids(SCFA) content and body composition of kuruma shrimp Marsupenaeus japonicus. Shrimp s were randomly allocated into 9 tanks, 30 each, and f ed with diets containing different levels of C. butyricum(1×10~9 cfug^(-1)): 0 mgg^(-1) feed(Control), 100 mgg^(-1) feed(CB-100), 200 mgg^(-1) feed(CB-200), while each level was triplicated. The results indicated that compared with the control group, the intestine pepsin(Pep) activity and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) concentration of two C. butyricum group s were both increased. Amylase(AM Y) and lipase(LPS) activities wer e only induced in CB-200 group. Alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(A ST) activities of two C. butyricum group s showed no significant change. The α-amylase(AM Y) gene expression was induced in CB-200 group, and tryp sin gene expression of two C. butyricum treated group s were both induced. Intestine SCFA content and body composition analysis showed that the contents of propionic acid, butyric acid and the crude protein of two C. butyricum group s were all higher than those of control. 2Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. 3Modeling of Energy Consumption and Effluent Quality Using Density Peaks-based Adaptive Fuzzy Neural Network显示文摘Modeling of energy consumption(EC) and effluent quality(EQ) are very essential problems that need to be solved for the multiobjective optimal control in the wastewater treatment process(WWTP). To address this issue, a density peaks-based adaptive fuzzy neural network(DP-AFNN) is proposed in this study. To obtain suitable fuzzy rules, a DP-based clustering method is applied to fit the cluster centers to process nonlinearity.The parameters of the extracted fuzzy rules are fine-tuned based on the improved Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm during the training process. Furthermore, the analysis of convergence is performed to guarantee the successful application of the DPAFNN. Finally, the proposed DP-AFNN is utilized to develop the models of EC and EQ in the WWTP. 5Study on the flotation technology and adsorption mechanism of galena–jamesonite separation显示文摘In order to further separate the concentrate containing galena and jamesonite before undergoing hydrometallurgical process, flotation experiment was performed on the basis of mineralogical analysis.And the adsorption mechanisms of collector H on galena and jamesonite were also studied by FT-IR spectra analysis and molecular dynamics(MD) simulation. The flotation result shows that the efficient separation can be achieved with H as selective collector. Galena concentrated with Pb grade of 72.09%and Pb recovery of 50.96% was obtained, and jamesonite concentrated with Sb grade and recovery of10.89% and 76.67% respectively was obtained as well. Infrared spectrum analysis indicates that collector H can adsorb on the surface of galena and react with Pb2+to generate hydrophobic salt, while no evident adsorption phenomenon was observed on the surface of jamesonite. 8Highly Efficient Synthesis of Environmentally Friendly Ag-modified TiO2 Nanoflowers to Enhance Photocatalytic Performance显示文摘Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers were prepared using a two-step process. The experimental process is green and free from contamination and can be synthesized directly at room temperature. Compared with pure TiO2, Ag-modified TiO2 enhances the absorption of visible light and effectively promotes the detachment of photoelectron pairs, Ag-TiO2 has a significantly enhanced visible light response activity to photodecomposition of methyl orange(MO). It is shown that the strong interaction between Ag nanoparticles and TiO2 enhances the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoflowers. The self-made open-air reactor was used to test the photocatalytic performance of different samples. The results showed that Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers had excellent photodegradation ability. 10Catering for Learner Diversity in Hong Kong Secondary Schools:Insights from the Relationships Between Students’Learning Styles and Approaches显示文摘Purpose:Catering for learner diversity is a key issue in the recent educational reforms in Hong Kong.The present study addresses this issue through an investigation of the relationships between students’learning styles and approaches to learning in Hong Kong secondary schools.Design/Approach/Methods:A total of 6,054 junior secondary students in Hong Kong responded to a questionnaire consisting of two instruments.A series of confirmatory factor analysis,two-way analysis of variance,and structural equation modeling analysis were conducted.Findings:The results identified three types of learning style among the students which are characterized by a cognitive orientation,a social orientation,and a methodological orientation.Some significant gender-and achievement-level differences were revealed.Compared with the socially oriented learning style,the cognitively and methodologically oriented learning styles were more extensively and strongly related to students’approaches to learning,even though these students showed a greater preference for the socially oriented learning style.Originality/Value:It is unwise to blindly cater for students’learning styles in classroom teaching and curriculum design.Teachers should adopt a comprehensive and balanced approach toward the design of curriculum and teaching which not only highlights the congruence between students’learning styles and teacher’s pedagogy but also integrates the constructive frictions between them into classroom teaching.Hongbiao Yin John Chi-Kin Lee Zhonghua Zhang 2020ECNU Review of Education2020,3,4:3
11Effect of electropulsing treatment on static recrystallization behavior of cold-rolled magnesium alloy ZK60 with different reductions显示文摘Effect of electropulsing treatment(EPT) on recrystallization behavior of cold-rolled Mg alloy ZK60 strips was investigated. It was found that EPT significantly improved nucleation rate and migration ability of grain boundaries, leading to accelerated recrystallization of the deformed metals at relatively low temperature. After the recrystallization induced by EPT, the average grain size of 20% rolling reduction samples decreased from 113 um to around 10 um, meanwhile the typical basal-type texture of the coldrolled sample was weakened. EPT was normally accompanied with a thermal and an athermal effects. The athermal effect played a dominated role in increasing nucleation rate, while the thermal effect promoted grain growth. 12The Genetic Mechanism of Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘The genetic mechanism of the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake is still being debated and there is still no convincing general explanation for most of the phenomena. This is because researchers have ignored the important role of the Minshan block in the seismogenic process. The authors present a new opinion based on geological survey and comprehensive analyses. The Minshan block is a key tectonic element of the earthquake occurrence in the northwest triangle faulty block of Sichuan Province. The Minshan block is bordered by Longmen Mountain Range fractures in the south, the Huya fracture in the east, the Tazang fracture in the north and the Mounigou Valley fracture in the west. The rigidity of the block is relatively larger than those of the adjacent regions. The block's eastward movement pushed by regional maximum main geo-stress is limited when it suddenly tapers off near the east triangle end with a bottle-neck effect, and this causes geo-stress concentration around it. The shape of the block is coffin-like, wide in the upper part and narrow in the lower part. When a strong earthquake occurs along the block margins, the lock-up effect temporarily released, resulting in geo-stress transmitted to the Pingwu-Qingchuan (Motianling block) region. This transmission caused the Wenchuan earthquake's aftershocks to be concentrated in Qingchuan region. As the block moved eastward, the back of the block, i.e. the south segment of Mounigou Valley fracture, became active after the Wenchuan Earthquake. Therefore the aftershocks were concentrated along the south segment of Mounigou Valley fracture. Because the south margin is composed of the front range fracture, the geo-stress gradually released, causing many aftershocks along the Guanxian-Anxian fracture. The geological survey made after the Wenchuan Earthquake reveals that the surface ruptures in the south margin of Minshan block occur not along the Beichuan-Yingxiu fracture (central fracture) also along the front range fracture. The length of the surface rupture in the south margin ranges from several meters to several kilometers and it is distributed in en echelon (closely-spaced, parallel or subparallel, step-like surface ruptures). The vertical and horizontal displacements range from place to place and the thrusting component is dominant in the middle segment of Longmen Mountain Range structure belt. Nevertheless, the strike slip of the surface ruptures is dominant in the north segment of Longmen Mountain Range structure belt. Therefore the south margin is the original seismic structure. 13Effects of Processing Technologies on Mechanical Properties of SiC Particulate Reinforced Magnesium Matrix Composites显示文摘Mg matrix composites with SiC particles ranging from 5vol%-25vol% were prepared using stirring casting method. Die casting, squeezing casting, and extrusion were applied for inhibiting or eliminating the defects such as gas porosity and shrinkage void. Through die casting and squeezing casting, most of the defects in Mg matrix composites could be eliminated, but the mechanical properties were improved limitedly. On the other hand, after hot extrusion, not only most of the defects of as-cast composites ingots were eliminated, but also the mechanical properties were improved markedly.
