1Ridge subduction and porphyry copper-gold mineralization:An overview显示文摘Many large porphyry Cu-Au deposits are connected to adakitic rocks known to be closely associated with ridge subduction. For example, there are several subducting ridges along the east Pacific margin, e.g., in Chile, Peru, and South America, most of which are associated with large porphyry Cu-Au deposits. In contrast, there are much fewer ridge subductions on the west Pacific margin and porphyry Cu-Au deposits are much less there, both in terms of tonnage and the number of deposits. Given that Cu and Au are moderately incompatible elements, oceanic crust has much higher Cu-Au concentrations than the mantle and the continental crust, and thus slab melts with their diagnostic adakitic chemistry have systematically higher Cu and Au, which is favorable for mineralization. Considering the geotherm of subducting slabs in the Phanerozoic, ridge subduction is the most favorable tectonic setting for this. Therefore, slab melting is the likely link in the spatial association between ridge subduction and Cu-Au deposits. 2A carbon-oxygen-bridged ladder-type building block for efficient donor and acceptor materials used in organic solar cells显示文摘A carbon-oxygen-bridged ladder-type donor unit(CO5) was invented and prepared via an ‘‘intramolecular demethanolization cyclization' approach. Its single crystal structure indicates enhanced planarity compared with the carbon-bridged analogue indacenodithiophene(IDT). Owing to the stronger electron-donating capability of CO5 than IDT, CO5-based donor and acceptor materials show narrower bandgaps. A donor-acceptor(D-A) copolymer donor(PCO5TPD) and an A-D-A nonfullerene acceptor(CO5IC) demonstrated higher performance than IDT-based counterparts, PIDTTPD and IDTIC, respectively. 3A systematical study on the electrodeposition process of metallic lithium显示文摘In this study,commercial copper(Cu)foil and Cu foam are used as the working electrodes to systematically investigate the electrochemical deposition and dissolution processes of metallic lithium(Li)on these electrodes;Li metal deposited on the Cu foil electrode is porous and loose.The surface solid electrolyte interface(SEI)film after dissolution from Li dendrites maintains a dendritic porous structure,resulting in a large volume effect of the electrode during the cycle.The Cu foam electrode provides preferential nucleation and deposition sites near the side surface of the separator;the difference in Li affinity results in a heterogeneous deposition and dendrite growth of metallic Li.Hailin Fan Chunhui Gao Huai Jiang Qingyuan Dong Bo Hong Yanqing Lai 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:4
4COUPLING EFFECT BETWEEN RELIABILITY OF BEDDING LAYER AND STABILITY OF DOWNSTREAM CONCRETE SLAB OF OVERFLOW EARTH-ROCK COFFERDAM显示文摘The protection of downstream concrete slab is a key issue for the stability of overflow earth-rock cofferdam. The coupling effect between bedding layer and concrete slab was taken into account when the stability of downstream concrete slab was researched. The characteristics of overflow and seepage over the downstream concrete slab were investigated when floodwater passes over the cofferdam. Firstly a limit equation of seepage failure for the bedding layer was derived with the consideration of geometric and mechanical factors, and a reliability model was established and numerically simulated. Then based on the reliability calculation for the bedding layer, the coupling effect between bedding layer and downstream concrete slab was analyzed. Under the most unfavorable pressure condition for the concrete slab, its instability criterion was put forward, which offers a structural design tool of downstream concrete slab for overflow earth-rock cofferdam. 5Phenotypic identification of peanut germplasm for resistance to southern stem rot显示文摘Southern stem rot,caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.,is a destructive soil fungal disease of peanut in China and other countries.To evaluate resistant germplasm,a total of 256 peanut accessions were investigated on their resistance to southern stem rot in 3 environments by artificial inoculation.Variance analysis indicated that disease index was significantly influenced by environment,genotype and genotypeenvironment interactions.Peanut accessions of var.vulgaris type exhibited higher resistance to southern stem rot.Disease index was significantly negatively correlated with linoleic acid content,while positively correlated with oleic acid content.Six resistant accessions were identified,including Hua 28,Shandongzai,ICG 6326,Quanhua 7,Quanhua 9 and Guihua 836,with their disease indexes under 40 and mortality were less than 30%in the three environments.The identified resistant accessions showed the great potential to be applied in resistant peanut breeding,and would be good genetic resources for enhancing the resistance to southern stem rot.Pengmin Fan Wanduo Song Yanping Kang Liyun Wan Yong Lei Dongxin Huai Yuning Chen Xin Wang Huifang Jiang Liying Yan Boshou Liao 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:3
6Comparative analysis of the characteristics of global seismic wave propagation excited by the M_w 9.0 Tohoku earthquake using numerical simulation显示文摘Giant earthquakes generate rich signals that can be used to explore the characteristics of the hierarchical structure of the Earth’s interior associated with the eigenfrequencies of the Earth.We employ the spectral element method,incorporated with large-scale parallel computing technology,to investigate the characteristics of global seismic wave propagation excited by the2011 Mw9.0 Tohoku earthquake.The transversely isotropic PREM model is employed as a prototype of our numerical global Earth model.Topographic data and the effect of the oceans are taken into consideration.Wave propagation processes are simulated by solving three-dimensional elastic wave governing equations with the seismic moment tensor obtained from the Global Centroid Moment Tensor Catalog.Three-dimensional visualization of our computing results displays the nature of the global seismic wave propagation.Comparative analysis of our calculations with observations obtained from the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology demonstrates the reliability and feasibility of our numerical results.We compare synthetic seismograms with incorporated and unincorporated ocean models.First results show that the oceans have obvious effects on the characteristics of seismic wave propagation.The peak displacement and peak velocity of P waves become relatively small under the effect of the ocean.However,the effect of the ocean on S-waves is complex.The displacement and velocity of S waves decrease rapidly over time using an unincorporated ocean model.Therefore,the effects of the ocean should be incorporated when undertaking quantitative earthquake hazard assessments on coastal areas.In addition,we undertake comparative analysis on the characteristics of the Earth’s oscillation excited by the 2004 Sumatra-Andaman,2008 Wenchuan,and 2011Tohoku earthquakes that incorporate the effect of the Earth’s gravitational potential.A comparison of the amplitude spectra of the numerical records indicates that energy released by the three big earthquakes is different.Our comparative analysis realizes that the computing results can accurately reproduce some eigenfrequencies of the Earth,such as toroidal modes 0T2 to 0T13and spheroidal modes 0S7 to 0S31.These results demonstrate that numerical simulations can be successfully used to investigate the Earth’s oscillations.We propose that numerical simulations can be used as one of the major tools to further reveal how the Earth’s lateral heterogeneities affect the Earth’s oscillations.YAN ZhenZhen ZHANG Huai FAN XiangTao DU XiaoPing 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,7:3

8Experimental Study of Hydrodynamic and Self-Buried Behavior of Submarine Pipeline with Perpendicular Spoilers显示文摘The spoiler is a kind of device to disturb current and promote burying.At present,all submarine pipeline spoilers at home and abroad are parallel spoilers,that is,the plane of the spoiler is parallel to the vertical plane of the pipeline axis.According to the results of indoor experiments,when the pipeline with the forward spoiler is installed perpendicular to the direction of water flow,the spoiler will accelerate the seabed erosion and cause the pipeline to endure downward pressure,which will eventually cause the pipeline self-buried to form a protection.However,when the pipeline direction is consistent with the flow direction,the self-buried behavior and protective effect is vanished.By aiming at the defect that the forward spoiler cannot be self-buried when the direction of the pipeline and the flow are basically parallel,the spoiler burying aid device perpendicular to the pipeline axis has been innovatively developed,and the hydrodynamic changes and sediment erosion characteristics near the pipeline after the installation of the device were studied based on the experiment.Results reveal that although the perpendicular spoiler cannot generate downforce,it can greatly increase the turbulent kinetic energy of the flow and the rate of sediment erosion.The larger the angle between the pipeline axis and the spoiler plane is,the larger the increase in turbulent energy will be.The increase in turbulent energy near the bed surface can reach up about 70%when the angle is 90°,while serious sediment erosion mainly occurs along both sides of the pipeline with a distance of about 2−4 times the pipe diameter.In the future,we can further explore the influence of the perpendicular spoiler size and installation position on the pipeline downforce and the effect of burying promotion.At the same time,field tests on the perpendicular spoiler burying aid device currently developed will conduct to observe the actual effect of perpendicular spoiler promoting pipeline scouring and burying,and improve submarine pipeline safety protection technology.FAN Hong-xia WANG Jian-zhong ZHU Li-jun WANG Nai-ru CHEN Huai 2021China Ocean Engineering2021,35,2:2

17A 3D conducting scaffold with in-situ grown lithiophilic Ni_(2)P nanoarrays for high stability lithium metal anodes显示文摘Lithium(Li)metal is the most potential anode material for the next-generation high-energy rechargeable batteries.However,intrinsic surface unevenness and‘hostless’nature of Li metal induces infinite volume effect and uncontrollable dendrite growth.Herein,we design the in-situ grown lithiophilic Ni_(2)P nanoarrays inside nickel foam(PNF).Uniform Ni_(2)P nanoarrays coating presents a very low nucleation overpotential,which induces the homogeneous Li deposition in the entire spaces of three-dimensional(3D)metal framework.Specifically,the lithiophilic Ni_(2)P nanoarrays possess characteristics of electrical conductivity and structural stability,which have almost no expansion and damage during repeating Li plating/stripping.Therefore,they chronically inhibit the growth of Li dendrites.This results in an outstanding Coulombic efficiency(CE)of 98% at 3 mA cm^(-2) and an ultra long cycling life over 2000 cycles with a low overpotential.Consequently,the PNF-Li||LiFePO_(4) battery maintains a capacity retention of 95.3% with a stable CE of 99.9% over 500 cycles at 2 C.Huai Jiang Hailin Fan Zexun Han Bo Hong Feixiang Wu Kai Zhang Zhian Zhang Jing Fang Yanqing Lai 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:0

19On-line solid-phase extraction using alizarin violet functionalized silica gel for determination of trace lead in environmental samples and wastewater by sequential injection spectrophotometry显示文摘Trace of Pb(Ⅱ) has been on-line separated and enriched from environmental samples and wastewater by using the self-made alizarin violet functionalized silica gel micro-column coupling with a sequential injection sampling technology. The determination is based on the color reaction of Pb(Ⅱ) with iodide and crystal violet to form an ionic association complex in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol and hydrochloric acid. The use of the microcolumn can prevent the interference of most familiar metal ions, and therefore improve the selectivity and sensitivity of this analytical technique. The proposed method was used for the determination of Pb(Ⅱ) in environmental samples and wastewater. 20Association of different central venous pressure levels with outcome of living-donor liver transplantation in children under 12 years显示文摘Background Pediatric liver transplantation is an important modality for treating biliary atresia.The overall survival(OS)rate of pediatric liver transplantation has significantly improved compared with that of 20 years ago,but it is still unsatisfactory.The anesthesia strategy of maintaining low central venous pressure(CVP)has shown a positive effect on prognosis in adult liver transplantation.However,this relationship remains unclear in pediatric liver transplantation.Thus,this study was conducted to review the data of pediatric living-donor liver transplantation to analyze the associations of different CVP levels with the prognosis of recipients.Methods This was a retrospective study and the patients were divided into two groups according to CVP levels after abdominal closure:low CVP(LCVP)(≤10 cmH2O,n=470)and high CVP(HCVP)(>10 cmH2O,n=242).The primary outcome measured in the study was the overall survival rate.The secondary outcomes included the duration of mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit(ICU),length of stay in the ICU,and postoperative stay in the hospital.Patient demographic and perioperative data were collected and compared between the two groups.Kaplan-Meier curves were constructed to determine the associations of different CVP levels with the survival rate.Results In the study,712 patients,including 470 in the LCVP group and 242 in the HCVP group,were enrolled.After propensity score matching,212 pairs remained in the group.The LCVP group showed a higher overall survival rate than the HCVP group in the Kaplan-Meier curves and multivariate Cox regression analyses(P=0.018),and the HCVP group had a hazard ratio of 2.445(95%confidence interval,1.163–5.140).Conclusion This study confirmed that a low-CVP level at the end of surgery is associated with improved overall survival and a shorter length of hospital stay.Yi-Chen Fan Xiao-Qiang Wang Dan-Yan Zhu Xiao-Rong Huai Wei-Feng Yu Dian-San Su Zhi-Ying Pan 2023World Journal of Pediatrics2023,19,2:0
