| 1 | Efficacy and safety of Yinchenwuling powder for hyperlipidemia: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical effectiveness and adverse effects of Yinchenwuling powder(YCWLP)in the treatment of hyperlipidemia using Meta-analysis.METHODS:Seven electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials designed to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of YCWLP for hyperlipidemia published in any language prior to February 2015.Two reviewers independently identified articles,extracted data,assessed quality,and cross-checked the results.Revman 5.3 was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:Only five randomized controlled trials with poor methodology were included in the analy-sis.The five trials compared YCWLP with conventional lipid-lowering drugs.Meta-analysis indicated that YCWLP was more effective at the levels of total cholesterol and triglycerides,while increasing the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol without serious adverse effects.However,it was not more effective than lipid-lowering drugs in reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and improving hemorheology.CONCLUSION:YCWLP appeared to improve lipid levels.However,given the high risk of bias among the trials,we could not conclude that YCWLP was beneficial to patients with hyperlipidemia.More rigorous trials are required to provide stronger evidence for the conclusion. | Yao Haiqiang Zhang Zengliang Wang Ji Zuo Jiacheng Chen Yu Zhu Libing Li Xiaoke Yang Zheng Wang Zisong Sun Ranran Xu Xuanxuan Li Changming Wu Yanling Li Lingru Wang Qi | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2: | 11 |
| 2 | An oceanic eddy statistical comparison using multiple observational data in the Kuroshio Extension region显示文摘Eddy characteristics derived from different data resources are compared: sea surface temperature(SST), sea surface height anomaly(SSHA) and surface drifter trajectories. The comparison suggests that the eddy statistical characteristics are different using different variables to delineate eddies, but they show the similar trend. | 3 | Estimating the minimum in-stream flow requirements via wetted perimeter method based on curvature and slope techniques显示文摘Under the assumptions of triangular cross section channel and uniform stable flow, an analytical solution of the minimum ecological in-stream flow requirement (MEIFR) is deduced. Based on the analytical solution, the uncertainty of the wetted perimeter method is analyzed by comparing the two techniques for the determination of the critical point on the relationship curve between wetted perimeter, P and discharge, Q. It is clearly shown that the results of MEIFR based on curvature technique (corresponding to the maximum curvature) and slope technique (slope being 1) are significantly different. On the P-Q curve, the slope of the critical point with the maximum curvature is 0.39 and the MEIFR varied prominently with the change of the slope threshold. This indicates that if a certain value of the slope threshold is not available for slope technique, curvature technique may be a better choice. By applying the analytical solution of MEIFR in the losing rivers of the Western Route South-to-North Water Transfer Project in China, the MEIFR value via curvature technique is 2.5%-23.7% of the multi-year average annual discharge, while that for slope technique is 11%-105.7%. | 7 | Clinical Effect of Yinhuang Qingfei Capsules in Treatment of Asymptomatic and Mild/Common Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection:An Analysis of 242 Cases显示文摘[Objectives]To investigate the clinical effect of Yinhuang Qingfei capsules in the treatment of asymptomatic and mild/common severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection.[Methods]A total of 362 patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection were divided into the treatment group with 242 patients and control group with 120 patients according to their treatment regimen.The patients in the control group were given standard treatment regimen and those in the treatment group were given Yinhuang Qingfei capsules in addition to the treatment in the control group.The two groups were observed in terms of average length of hospital stay,mean time for nucleic acid clearance,TCM syndrome score,and progression to severe/critical illness,and clinical outcome was compared between the two groups.[Results]There was a significant difference in the overall response rate between the treatment group and the control group[97.52%(236/242)vs 95.00%(114/120),P<0.05].Compared with the control group,the treatment group had significantly shorter length of hospital stay and time for nucleic acid clearance(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment,both groups had a significant change in TCM syndrome score,and there was a significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P<0.05);after 15 days of treatment,both groups had a TCM syndrome score of 0.Progression to severe/critical illness was not observed in either group.[Conclusions]Compared with the standard treatment regimen alone,standard treatment regimen combined with Yinhuang Qingfei capsules can effectively shorten the length of hospital stay and time for nucleic acid clearance and improve TCM symptoms in patients with asymptomatic and mild/common SARS-CoV-2 infection. | Feibao CHEN Changming ZHANG Chen CHEN Ping JI Chanjuan ZHANG Yanbo LI Hao WANG Baobao GU Yanting YANG | 2024 | Medicinal Plant2024,15,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Submesoscale eddies in the East China Sea detected from SAR images显示文摘Seven-year(2005-2011)Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)images are applied to study oceanic eddies in the East China Sea.It is found that most of these eddies detected from the SAR images are less than 10 km,which are submesoscale eddies.Seasonal differences are evident in the distribution of eddies,with the highest and the lowest number of eddies noted in summer and winter,respectively.Since slick streaks in SAR images look dark,an eddy identified due to the slicks is referred to as“black eddy”.As a result of wave-current interactions in the zones of current shear,it can be seen that an eddy exhibits a bright curve,the eddy is called“white eddy”.During the seven years,95 black eddies and 50 white eddies are identified in the study area.Black eddies are found in the whole study area while white eddies are mainly distributed in the vicinity of the Kuroshio Current.This study suggests that the distribution of the white eddy is denser around the Kuroshio because of the strong shear in the Kuroshio region.In terms of the eddy sizes,white eddies are generally smaller than black eddies. | Yuxiang Ji Guangjun Xu Changming Dong Jingsong Yang Changshui Xia | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3: | 0 |
| 9 | Five-point Element Scheme of Finite Analytic Method for Unsteady Groundwater Flow显示文摘In order to improve the finite analytic method’s adaptability for irregular unit, by using coordinates rotation technique this paper establishes a five-point element scheme of finite analytic method. It not only solves unsteady groundwater flow equation but also gives the boundary condition. This method can be used to calculate the three typical questions of groundwater.
